Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared and placed on the geoportal the map of Krasnodar Krai. The map is formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with it, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m) and saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The project of MPTZ format includes a digital map on the territory of the region (country, subject of the federation, administrative area) and a digital classifier. Placement of updates in the bank of spatial data is made by using the program of . Publishing contents of the bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".
Specialists from KB "Panorama," together with students from , have prepared a video tutorial on working with the mode in the "Report Designer" task panel. The discussed task is available in GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator", and other KB "Panorama" software products for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system.
The video lesson demonstrates the process of creating tables of conventional symbols for maps, with the ability to add ready-made images to them. Important features are separately discussed, for example, that a legend is created for objects of one classifier, and when working with multiple maps, the system uses data from the first one. The formation of semantics and annotation lists is considered. The principle of automatic annotation filling is explained; their values are taken from the first found object of the corresponding type on the map. The finished legend can be saved as a map in SITX format or as a graphic file in JPG format. When the "Add to Report" option is activated, it will be automatically inserted into the report as an inset map or image.
The video material will be useful for specialists involved in preparing report documentation and creating map marginalia when preparing maps for publication. Training materials can be found in the "Video Lessons" section.
KB "Panorama" has developed for Qt Designer SE version 15.1.1 for OS "Astra Linux Special Edition", OS "Alt Linux", RED OS, Ubuntu. The new version includes an expanded list of available geoportals, including vessel monitoring services and data in PBF and ESRI formats. Reliability when working with external services has been improved, and support for the "RED OS" operating system has been implemented.
Authorization via the Keycloak system has been added to the task of , and new data sources have been included. "Ship Movement Monitoring (MarineTraffic)" has been added to the list of connectable geoportals. This geoportal allows real-time tracking of ship movements worldwide. Users are provided with information about destination, course, speed, vessel type, ship dimensions, country of registration, and estimated time of arrival. Geoportals with data in PBF format and ESRI layers (Sentinel-2, Agriculture, Infrared, and others) have been included. Connection to services of the SOOI of the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources, Rosleskhoz, GISOGD of the Chelyabinsk Region, and FGIS TP has been added.
Interaction with external geoportals has been improved. The ability to connect to WMTS services using the commonly accepted tile addressing format has been implemented, simplifying integration with cartographic sources from third-party systems. The data exchange algorithm with external portals under unstable connections has been optimized. Now, if the requested information is temporarily unavailable on the service, the connection remains active. Corresponding records of erroneous network requests are added to the diagnostic log. If the connection is lost (e.g., due to a weak communication channel), reconnection checks occur after an interval specified in the GIS kernel library settings file, balancing fault tolerance and avoiding excessive network requests.
Company specialists have updated digital classifiers for creating aeronautical charts, dfc.rscz and . Significant changes have been made in the new edition to enhance the detail and accuracy of aeronautical data. Steps have been taken to update the airspace structure, including air traffic service, airspace restrictions, ATS routes, waypoints, and radio navigation aids. Conventional symbols in the "Obstacles" layer have been aligned with ICAO requirements; new objects have been added to the "Aerodrome Network" and "Waypoints and Navaids" layers. Furthermore, attribute characteristics for objects in the "Routes" layer have been expanded. These changes ensure an up-to-date representation of airspace structure, air traffic service, aerodrome network, and obstacles. The GIS supports working with various types of digital classifiers that define the organization and presentation of spatial data. Besides aeronautical charts, the application provides access to classifiers for nautical charts (s57navy.rscz) and other specialized symbol sets. Classifiers contain a complete description of map layers, objects, their properties, and display rules, defining the appearance of various objects on screen and when printing. Current versions of symbol sets are available for download in the "Classifiers" section.
is a Russian Linux-based operating system for servers and workstations. It complies with Russian Government requirements, is included in the Russian Software Register, and certified by FSTEC of Russia. The system is built on an RPM-based package base, assembled from Open Source code and proprietary solutions by "RED SOFT". Development is conducted in a closed environment, and all components are stored in a repository within Russia. For legal entities, the OS is provided on a paid basis; for individuals, it is free for non-commercial use.
GIS Constructor is adapted for a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux Special Edition, RED OS, Alt Linux, Ubuntu, Windows, Elbrus, QNX) and architectures (Intel, ARM, Elbrus). The toolkit includes components for visual design of GIS applications and libraries of a multiplatform, multithreaded GIS kernel. GIS Constructor provides a cross-platform MAPAPI interface, allowing a programmer to develop in their preferred operating system. A developer can release GIS applications for a set of operating systems by simple compilation with minimal changes to the program source code.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.

Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial covering the mode in the task of GIS "Panorama". This mode is designed for creating and updating approach routes and standard arrival procedures (STARs) for aircraft. The procedure generation utilizes a pre-prepared custom approach chart, with the "Air Traffic Control System" map serving as the main background layer.
The video demonstrates how to configure approach route parameters and plot them on the map. Users can select runway headings and corresponding arrival (approach) routes from a list, create approach procedures, and include holding patterns. The use of holding areas enables air traffic controllers to manage aircraft flow in the aerodrome area during high traffic intensity.
The mode supports both updating existing routes and creating new ones. When plotting a new procedure, previous maneuvers are automatically replaced, while elements removed from the database require manual deletion after analysis.
The material will be useful for specialists involved in creating and updating aeronautical data, preparing documentation for flight procedures, and maintaining the air traffic management system. The training materials can be found in the "Video Tutorials" section.
