GIS "Panorama Mobile" for Aurora OS

GIS "Panorama Mobile" is the universal geoinformation system designed to work with digital maps in the format of the GIS "Panorama" software product on mobile devices with Aurora OS.

GIS "Panorama Mobile" software product operates in the Aurora operating system version 4.0 on the ARM architecture. The recommended amount of RAM on the device is 4 GB. The free space of permanent memory will allow you to store data for opening GIS Panorama Mobile.

Purpose of the program

Panorama Mobile is designed to display cartographic data in SIT, SITX, SITZ, MAP, MPT, MPTZ, RSW, MTW formats. Panorama Mobile allows you to display cartographic information from Geoportals, such as "OSM World Map" KB Panorama, etc. The application allows you to display, scale data, display the user's current coordinates and record the route of movement.

Interaction with Panorama Mobile is performed using standard gestures. The main application menu is located at the left edge of the screen and is displayed by pressing the Menu button in the upper left corner.

The Open Map dialog displays the current contents of the device's internal storage so that you can select the document to be opened.

Connecting geoportal

The dialog for opening geoportals allows you to connect to geoportals. To connect, you need to select the desired section, for example, "KB Panorama", and select a layer inside the section, for example, "Map of Russia from OSM". After selecting the element, the connection to the geoportal will be performed and the data will be opened.

Data list

The data list displays currently open maps, rasters, matrixes and geoportals. From this dialog, you can manage the contents of open data:

  • add maps to the current document;
  • change the visibility of the document;
  • close individual documents.

Map display window

The map display window allows you to display a map/set of maps/raster or a geoportal. The current coordinates and map scale are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the current display scale is performed using the «+» and «-» buttons or using the "Pinch" gesture. The current coordinates of the center of the map are displayed in the lower left corner.

On the right side of the map displaying screen there is a button to enable geolocation.

In case of an inactive device location system, a message about a disabled geolocation system will be displayed. After geolocation is activated, the geolocation control menu appears, which consists of buttons:

Location Services allows you to display the user's current position on an open map and record the user's route. The request of a geolocation starts at the first display of the Geolocation dialog. The first time you open the location dialog after installing the application, you must give permission to the application to access the device's location data.

Centering the map onto the current location will be performed after pressing the corresponding button and receiving the coordinates by the device.
When you click the «Start recording route» button, a map will be created in the storage with the name Route_<date>_<time>.sitx, where <date> and <time> - > are the date and time at the beginning of the route recording. To stop recording the route, you must click the "Stop recording route" button. You can view the recorded route by adding a map of route to the current document.

Messages to the user

Messages to the user are issued in the form of a pop-up message (toast) or in the form of an information window.

When you start recording a route, a pop-up message is displayed about the start of recording the route.
