Specialists at KB "Panorama" have prepared a digital classifier for maintaining the State Information System for Supporting Urban Planning Activities (ГИСОГД) of the Chuvash Republic. The basis for developing the classifier was the . This document regulates the composition of layers, the structure of attributes, and the requirements for the symbology of urban planning documentation objects.
Digital classifiers are included in the Complex of Urban Planning Tasks and allow for the formation of territorial planning documents, zoning schemes, master plans, land-use planning and land surveying projects.
Information and materials containing spatial (cartographic) data can be loaded into the Urban Planning GIS in various formats. The GML/XML and SXF formats are used for transferring data as a single file containing a full set of layers, objects, and their attributes. The MID/MIF and SHP formats imply separate data transfer for each thematic layer. To correctly form the data structure when converting to the SHP format, special configuration files isogd_21.rscz.toshp for the Chuvash Republic are used. They ensure correct layer names, the composition of attribute tables, and compliance of object codes with the requirements of the respective regional Urban Planning GIS.
The development of classifiers was carried out in response to requests from design and operational organizations. The prepared classifiers ensure a unified, normatively agreed approach to maintaining urban planning data in the regions.
Digital classifiers and the current version of the Complex of Urban Planning Tasks are available for download on the website in the Classifiers and sections.
Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared and placed a map of the Republic of Adygea on the geoportal. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products from KB "Panorama".
The map has been converted to the modernized classifier for large-scale plans at a scale of 1:5,000 (map5000m) and saved as a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region (country, federal subject, administrative district), a map of the region's administrative-territorial division, and a digital classifier. The placement of updates in the spatial data bank was carried out using the . The publication of the spatial data bank's content on the geoportal and access to data for download are implemented using .
Free maps based on OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the "Digital Maps" page.
Specialists from KB "Panorama," together with students from , have prepared a video tutorial on working with the mode in the toolbar of the task. The reviewed task is available in GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator" and other software products from KB "Panorama" for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system.
The video tutorial demonstrates the process of using the built-in tool to manage the scale range in which selected objects are displayed. This capability is key for automatic cartographic generalization and reducing visual load during zooming. Special attention is paid to the flexible configuration of displaying objects of different priority within the same type. The mode helps avoid map clutter with objects at small scales while preserving the necessary detail at large scales. It can be applied in situations where objects of the same type have different semantic priority and should be displayed in different scale ranges.
This video material will be useful for specialists involved in preparing cartographic data for territorial planning, urban planning activities, creating thematic atlases, and solving other tasks. The training materials can be found in the "Video Tutorials" section.
KB "Panorama" has developed GIS WebService SE version 15.14.7. The new version adds support for the domestic certified operating system for servers and workstations. This OS is used for creating, managing, and protecting corporate infrastructure and holds certifications from the Russian Ministry of Defense, FSB, and FSTEC of Russia. GIS WebService SE is fully adapted to work in Alt 8 SP and is included in the Unified Register of Russian Software of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WPS) used for transmitting and displaying spatial data. The program implements the capability to serve tiles in any user-defined or local coordinate system. The application is developed for the Astra Linux, Ubuntu, RED OS, Alt 8 SP, and MS Windows platforms and is compatible with Apache, IIS, and nginx web servers.
The new version of the program and its documentation are available on the website in the section.
In KB "Panorama", version 15.5.2 of the for has been developed. The new version enhances tools for constructing profiles of extended linear structures. The previously existing mode "Construction of a linear structure profile" has been merged with the mode.
The updated mode allows for the construction of profiles for roads, railways, power lines, main pipelines, and utility networks. For a linear object selected on the map, a longitudinal profile is constructed. This profile contains the route line, surface line, groundwater level line, length and height scales, elevation marks (difference between the surface height and points of the route profile line), as well as the depiction of route objects highlighted on the map.
Depending on the type of linear structure, a corresponding set of tables and graphs is generated, such as: "Route Plan", "Axis Elevations", "Slopes and Lengths", "Relief Elevations", "Distances", "Stations (Pickets)", "Angles and Straights", "Plan of Straights and Curves", and "Kilometers". When generating the diagram, data on groundwater location in the form of quality matrices and descriptions of curved route sections in CSV tables are used.
If a coordinate "M" (Measure) is present at the nodal points of the route line, it can be used in profile construction as a height difference value (height above surface or burial depth). The profile line can be constructed using existing nodal points of the selected map object or interpolated along the relief surface line with the possibility of filtering straight sections.
The constructed image can be conditionally divided into printed pages of a specified format, with a frame, page number, and headers/footers applied to each page. Header/footer layouts can include approval signature layouts or standard document title blocks (stamps). Header/footer layouts are stored in LBL format files. For each specified header/footer, one of several application methods to pages can be set: only on the first page, only on the last page, on all pages, on all except the first, on all except the last, on all except the first and last. Standard header/footer layouts included in the standard package are located in the folder \Geodesy.dot\bti\.
The mode was created considering the requirements of regulatory documents for profiles of various types of linear structures, including:
GOST R 21.1701-97. "System of project documentation for construction. Rules for execution of working documentation of roads"; GOST R 21.1702-96 "System of project documentation for construction. Rules for execution of working documentation of railway tracks". "Guide for Engineering Surveys of Routes for Overhead Power Lines 35-1150 kV". "OR-75.180.00-KNT-0339-21. Requirements for technological schemes of the linear part of main pipelines". "Requirements for the preparation of longitudinal profiles of utility networks".
The new version of the program has added templates: Signature.lbl (an approval signature template), as well as title block templates in accordance with GOST R 2.104-2023 (Appendix B.1) - p_2_104_2023_b1_titul.lbl (for the title page) and p_2_104_2023_b3_other.lbl (for subsequent sheets). The generated diagram can be saved in SITX format for subsequent refinement (if necessary) using the tools, imported into , or output to printing devices using the mode.
The Complex of Geodetic Calculations is designed for processing results of field geodetic measurements, applying calculation results to a digital map, and generating reporting land management and cadastral documents. The software tools included in the complex allow solving most tasks faced by organizations performing field geodetic, cadastral, and land management work, office processing of measurement results, compilation of large-scale plans, land surveying, and other tasks.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.
