KB "Panorama" has developed version 15.13.0. The new version significantly improves the speed of executing queries to layers with characteristic filters applied from databases by several times. The acceleration is achieved through query processing optimization and data buffering. The service allows configuring restrictions on output objects and semantic characteristics for different users based on settings. A database or configuration file can serve as the source of restrictions. Layer restrictions for users can be applied based on their activity areas, regional affiliation, or other parameters used in distributed systems.
Data export and import capabilities have been expanded. Layer publishing now supports data in SIT, SITX, SITZ, MPT, MPTZ, RSW, TIFF, MTW, RSC, RSCZ formats. Additionally, custom coordinate system processing has been implemented for export to DXF, SXF, TXF, CSV, MIF, and SHP formats, ensuring accurate spatial reference transfer when exchanging data between different systems. Layer publishing on has been optimized.
Dynamic label generation has been accelerated when executing GetMap drawing queries. The new version enhances stability, convenience, and performance when working with spatial data as part of corporate GIS solutions.
GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WPS) used for spatial data transmission and display. The program implements the ability to deliver tiles in any custom or local coordinate system. The application supports Windows and Linux platforms and is compatible with Apache, IIS, and nginx web servers.
The new version of the program and documentation are available on the website in the section.
Specialists from KB "Panorama" together with students have prepared a video tutorial on working with the mode in the "Report Designer" task toolbar. The reviewed mode is available in and GIS "Operator" for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system.
The video tutorial demonstrates the process of creating a new project both as an independent document and based on a background map. To create a new project, you need to specify the print sheet format (size) (A5-A0 or custom), page orientation for printing, and print margin dimensions.
When preparing a project based on a background map, a new report is created with the source document parameters (coordinate system, projection, scale). The current map open in the GIS is used as the background map. In a project created with a background substrate, the background map, unlike maps placed in insets, is available for information queries, computational tasks, and regular editing using system tools. After project creation, the background map image is limited by the project page's outer frame.
Background map management functionality includes selecting the display scale on the report page (zoom in, zoom out, or entering a specific value), as well as positioning the map on the report page. You can familiarize yourself with the training materials in the "Video Tutorials" section.
KB "Panorama" has developed Environmental Tasks Complex version 15.4.4. The new version implements domain authentication capability when connecting to the "Ecology" database. The updated Complex allows for seamless authorization implementation, simplifying database connection and improving system usability.
The program has added a mechanism for maintaining a list of completed connections to the environmental monitoring database during password authentication. To ensure confidential information security, database connection parameters are stored in encrypted form for the current user.
The Complex processes and analyzes environmental monitoring information arrays accumulated in the "Ecology" database. The program is installed as an addition to and enables rapid assessment of observed processes, phenomena, or events using retrospective spatial data analysis results. Monitoring measurements can be conducted both at stationary observation points and during field trips. During observations, multiple indicators are recorded simultaneously, allowing comprehensive characterization of the monitoring object. A flexible settings system enables grouping indicators according to observation directions, including monitoring atmospheric air pollution, water bodies, soil, subsurface conditions, biological resources, radiation situation, lands, permafrost, production and consumption waste, coal dust content, wildlife objects, and other factors. For assessing the observation point network status, visualization of their scheme is provided, where the current status of each point is displayed on a topographic map using special conventional symbols.
The new version of the Environmental Tasks Complex is available in the Download section.
Geoportal has been supplemented with the map of the Republic of Panama, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of . Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".
Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial that covers methods for copying semantic characteristics from one object to another when performing cadastral work to . The video tutorial demonstrates how semantics can be transferred from one object to another using the mode or through the dialog. When it is necessary to fill semantics for a large number of objects, the process can be automated using the task.
The cadastral map must be created using the survey.v6 classifier. For selected conditional land plots or capital construction objects, attribute export to XLS format is performed using the task. Either specific attributes or all attributes can be selected. For refined or corrected plots, the "Cadastral number" semantics (code 1001, key KADNUM) must be filled in, as object linking is performed based on this attribute.
To transfer semantics, in the "Update from file" task dialog window, the type of connection between the map object and data from the file is established by semantics. In the list of semantic characteristics, it is necessary to specify an entry containing the semantics name and the column name in the XLS file.
Training materials can be accessed in the "Video Tutorials" section.
