Specialists from the KB "Panorama", together with students from , have created a tutorial on how to upload coordinates for the object being created from a text file. This task is available in the GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator", and other software products from the "Panorama" design bureau for the "Astra Linux Special Edition" operating system.
The tutorial demonstrates the process of creating map objects using the dialog. The process of uploading coordinates for the object being created from a text file can be conditionally divided into the following stages:
- Selecting the type of object to be created and the method for placing the object(s) on the map;
- Choosing the file to be uploaded;
- Configuring the upload scenario (format of the source file);
- Directly processing the uploaded file, forming and recording the object(s) on the map.
When starting the dialog, the file opens and its format is automatically recognized. The information contained in the uploaded file is automatically divided into columns (with space or tab recognized as delimiters). If the automatic file recognition is successful, data types are assigned to the columns. If not, data types must be assigned manually.
If necessary, coordinate transformation can be performed during the upload (adding offsets for X and Y coordinates). By enabling the option "Create multi-point object", an object of type "Point" is created, where the metric contains a sequence of points with a single set of attributes.
You can find educational materials in the "Video Lessons" section.
Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of Republic of Guinea, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 ().
Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .
Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page .
KB "Panorama" has developed version 1.8 for Android OS. The new version adds tools for saving geoportals to MBTILES format file for further offline use on mobile devices without an Internet connection. Users are provided with the ability to configure saving parameters (area size, number of saved levels) in interactive mode. During configuration, the application calculates the output file size in real-time, which simplifies control over free space usage. The geoportal can be selected from a set of popular third-party spatial data sources (OpenStreetMap, Yandex, and others). The data saving process occurs independently of the main application process, so the user can continue working with the device in parallel with the saving process.
The data list dialog has been improved. To simplify interaction with open documents, their management (visibility, layer navigation, closing) has been moved from the context menu directly to the list elements themselves. Indication of the main layer of open data has been added. The display of screen center indication has been improved, enhancing usability and map navigation.
GIS "Panorama Mobile" allows opening main digital map formats of GIS "Panorama" on Android-based mobile devices and processing information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. Users can prepare the necessary set of spatial data in advance, package them in a ZIP archive using standard tools, and transfer them to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". Data processing is performed autonomously, without an Internet connection. As the user moves, their current position is dynamically displayed based on coordinates received from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For convenience, there is an option to synchronize the map position with the current location. To save the coordinates obtained during movement, there is a track recording mode that creates a separate map and plots the movement trajectory on it. Basic information is provided for all map objects during operation.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.
KB "Panorama" has developed the version 8.3.2 under the control of or . In the new version, the dialogs "Input airspaces to database" and "Output of prohibited, danger and restriction zones" have been improved. The list of processed zones has been expanded in the dialogs, and the "Unmanned Aircraft Flight Zone" has been added in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated July 08, 2024, No. 236.
The program provides tools for populating the aeronautical database with information specified in the order and AIP of the Russian Federation: zone designation and number, horizontal and vertical boundaries, locality, operating regulations, and more.
On the aeronautical chart, zones are plotted as a circle of a specified radius or a complex polyline depending on the source data. For example, a zone in designated territories of populated areas in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will be created as a circle, while in the Chelyabinsk region as a polyline.
Aeronautical classifiers (dfc.rscz and ) have been improved, with new objects added: "Unmanned Aircraft Flight Zone", "Unmanned Aircraft Flight Zone Boundary", "Unmanned Aircraft Flight Zone Label". The list of values for the "Airspace Element Type" semantics has been supplemented with the "Unmanned Aircraft Flight Zone" element.
The Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical informationis a set of tools for maintaining an aeronautical database, modeling and analyzing aeronautical situations, creating aeronautical charts, and exchanging data with other information systems through export and import in the ARINC 424-19 exchange format and export in AIXM 5.1 format. The "Flight Scheme Design" task is used for designing departure, approach, and landing routes and analyzing flight safety on them. The "Assessment of Aerodrome Compliance with FAR Requirements" task is designed to analyze the aerodrome and the surrounding area for operational suitability and aircraft flights according to Federal Aviation Regulations.
The new version of the program, examples of aeronautical information documents, , video lessons and presentations are available for download on the page.
Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on working with the task in . This mode is designed for automatic recognition and vectorization of data on satellite images, aerial photographs, and UAV data. The application sends a request for image recognition for a selected area or object to the automatic recognition and vectorization service. The "Neural Network Model" section has been supplemented with the "Buildings" model.
The video tutorial demonstrates the formation of "Building" objects based on previously mapped agricultural fields and hydrography objects using the "Automatic Sattelite Recognition" task. To start the processing, it is necessary to "Submit a Request" for data processing. During the recognition process, the data recognition settings management dialog provides information about the request status, its completion time, processing stage, completion time, and readiness. The resulting map can be copied or edited, as well as converted to other formats.
When using the service, the total volume of processed data is limited by the number of purchased processor units. Detailed information can be found in the "Panorama Vision" section. You can familiarize yourself with the training materials in the "Video Lessons" section.
