Geoportal has been supplemented with a map of the Central African Republic, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data.
Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of .

The specialists of the "Panorama" Design Bureau have prepared a video tutorial on the task , which is available in the and GIS "Panorama". The discussed mode is intended for the automatic preparation of a set of formatted map fragments in accordance with accepted conventional symbols for printing. The formatting of a fragment is carried out using standard conventional symbols for topographic maps that are accepted for the scale of the formatted map, following the samples of formatting nomenclature sheets.
The video tutorial demonstrates an example of formatting a map fragment with a pre-selected closed linear object, which will be used as a frame for the formatted fragment. The result of adjusting the parameters for frame formatting is shown. When the following options are enabled:
- "Decoration only", the selected fragment will be formatted; if multiple fragments are selected, frame formatting will be performed, but the cutting of fragments will not take place. Upon completion of the procedure, the formatted maps are automatically added to the open map.
- "Without rectangular grid", elements of the rectangular grid (exits and line labels) will not be generated.
- "Group", separate objects related to one formatting element (all exit lines of the rectangular grid, geodetic grid, points of the geodetic frame for large scales) will be grouped into one object with sub-objects. If this option is disabled, all separate strokes will be generated as independent objects.
When formatting fragments at scales of 1:500,000 and 1:1,000,000, containing several original nomenclature sheets, square numbering can be performed either within the original nomenclature sheets or as continuous numbering from the boundaries of the fragment using the "Continuous numbering of areas" option.
You can familiarize yourself with the educational materials in the "Video Lessons" section.

The "Panorama" Design Bureau has developed version 1.6 for the domestic mobile OS Aurora. The new version includes a search feature for map objects by name and a specified set of object criteria, along with an updated interface for viewing search results.
The implemented functionality allows users to search for map objects based on specified criteria: by the inclusion of a specified string in the object's name (for example, the word "Mir" to find the object "Mir Street"), by object type (such as forests or lakes), by layer (such as hydrology or buildings), or by localization (for example, linear or vector). The display mode for search results has been enhanced to simultaneously show brief information about the found object and its outline on the map, allowing for interactive browsing of the list of found objects.
The brief information display panel supports both gesture-based navigation (switching between found objects using standard swipe gestures) and button controls ("previous"/"next"). To simplify the selection of an object from a large number of found items, a list view of results is available. When selecting from the list of found objects, users can switch to a detailed view of the object's characteristics. The detailed information mode displays the object's attributes and characteristics. Additionally, users can cycle through search result objects using standard gestures and switch to the object display mode on the map. The currently active object is retained across all result display modes. Object selection for editing modes ("Delete" or "Change point") utilizes the search results display interface, allowing users to select an object based on its outline on the map or its attribute characteristics.
"Panorama Mobile" allows users to open and edit the main formats of digital maps from the and popular geoportals on mobile devices based on the Aurora OS. It processes information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. Users can prepare a necessary set of spatial data in one of the desktop products (GIS "Panorama", , ) and transfer it to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". The data processing occurs offline, without an internet connection. As the user moves, their current position is dynamically displayed based on coordinates obtained from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For convenience, there is an option to synchronize the map position with the current location. To save the coordinates obtained during movement, a track recording mode is available, which creates a separate map and marks the trajectory of movement. Basic information about all map objects is provided during work. The program is developed using the GIS Constructor toolkit, which offers components for creating mobile applications that work with digital maps in the C++ programming language using Qt.
The is a Russian mobile operating system developed by "Open Mobile Platform". The operating system is designed to build a trusted mobile infrastructure and protect sensitive information in government organizations and large to medium-sized commercial companies. It contributes to ensuring the technological sovereignty of the state through a secure mobile environment and complies with all regulatory requirements in the field of national security and information protection. The Aurora OS allows for centralized management of mobile device fleets and applied mobile software through Aurora Center. The current version of the Aurora mobile OS has been certified by the FSTEC of Russia and fully meets the requirements for operating systems of type "A" with a protection class of 4 and a trust level of 4.
The new version of the program is available for download in the section.
The international oil and gas chemical exhibition concluded in Kazan, during which the conference "Current Issues in Geodesy and Geoinformation Systems" was held. The event took place from August 26 to 28, 2024, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Kazan Expo".
At the conference, specialists from the "Panorama" Design Bureau presented a report on . Company representatives shared their experiences and answered questions regarding the use of neural networks in the fields of cadastre, geodesy, cartography, forestry, agriculture, and other areas. During the event, the main capabilities of the automatic recognition and vectorization system "Panorama Vision", which is based on artificial intelligence utilizing deep neural networks with an attention mechanism, were demonstrated.
Leading analysts, speakers, and industry leaders participated in the conference. The international exhibition serves as a significant discussion platform for exchanging experiences and addressing current issues in the development of geodesy, geoinformation systems, and fostering a favorable business environment.
