On August 12, 2024, a military scientific conference titled "Operational Processing of Remote Sensing Data" was held at park "Patriot" as part of the international military-technical forum "Army-2024", organized by the Military Topographic Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Representatives from research, production, and educational organizations participated in the conference. There was significant interest in the conference topics regarding the development of domestic technologies for processing remote sensing data from representatives of the armed forces' management bodies.

Experts from KB "Panorama" showcased technologies for processing data from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their subsequent automatic recognition and vectorization using artificial intelligence.

The product "Panorama Photo" is designed for automatic processing of UAV data, allowing for orientation and the construction of measurement models, formation of dense point clouds, height matrices, and orthophotos.

The resulting digital terrain model, combined with data from other sources, including open sources, is used to create vector objects for hydrography, agricultural land, buildings, roads, forests, and more. The software suite "Panorama Vision" is designed for this purpose, providing automatic decoding and vectorization of terrain object boundaries. The suite processes RGB images in RSW/JPG/TIFF/PNG formats. At its core, the suite employs artificial intelligence utilizing deep neural networks based on attention mechanisms.

Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of Sao Tome and Principe, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m).

Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data.

Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

KB Panorama has developed GIS "Panorama Mobile" version 1.7 for Android OS. The new version includes a compass display, the ability to navigate to coordinates, and the option to copy the semantic values of objects.

To simplify user orientation on the map, a compass display has been added in the new version. The main screen now features a compass in the left corner that shows the direction to magnetic north. A small round indicator informs users about the accuracy of the compass readings and can display one of several colors: green, yellow, red, or black. The visibility of the compass can be controlled in the Settings section.

For quick and accurate positioning on the map display, a navigation feature to a point has been implemented. When tapping on the panel with the current coordinates of the screen's center, a dialog box appears that allows users to enter new coordinates for the center of the screen and specify the type of coordinates being entered. The point navigation dialog supports changing the format of user-entered coordinates and dynamically recalculates the specified coordinates when the format is changed.

The new version also allows for copying the values of semantic characteristics of objects. This enables users to utilize information from the GIS "Panorama Mobile" application in third-party applications for information exchange or calculations.

GIS "Panorama Mobile" allows users to open major formats of digital maps from GIS "Panorama" on Android mobile devices and process information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. Users can prepare a necessary set of spatial data in advance, compress it into a ZIP archive using standard tools, and transfer it to the mobile GIS "Panorama Mobile". Data processing occurs offline, without an Internet connection. As users move, their current position is dynamically displayed based on coordinates obtained from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. For convenience, there is an option to synchronize the map's position with the current location. To save the coordinates obtained during movement, a track recording mode is available, which creates a separate map and plots the movement trajectory on it. Basic information about all map objects is provided during operation.

KB "Panorama" has developed GIS WebServer SE version 6.21.0 for Astra Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and MS Windows operating systems. The new version includes visualization and data export tools. The interaction of components in windowed mode has been improved, and the administration module has been updated.

The cartographic component allows for the customization of styles for selected object types when obtaining WMS images. Dynamic labels configured for layers published on GIS WebService SE have been added. Users can now download maps created in flood zone construction modes, cartograms, and heat maps. A mechanism for obtaining the legend of a layer within the map window's dimensions has also been implemented.

The program includes a report export component that allows reports to be generated in PDF, PNG, and JPG formats. The report contains an image of the map sized to the screen with customizable print density. Users can overlay a logo, legend, current position information, and coordinate grid on the map. For PDF documents, additional options include adding a custom header, stamp, and information about selected objects on the map.

A cartographic background component has been added, allowing users to set and change the map's background image. The map editor now supports importing geometry from CSV files and selecting the source projection.

GIS WebServer SE is used to build closed corporate systems that ensure data protection with confidentiality or commercial secrecy classifications. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the GIS WebToolKit SE toolkit, which can be utilized in development tools using JavaScript and TypeScript.

Based on GIS WebServer SE and other server products from KB "Panorama", the Regional GIS of the Ryazan Region (RGIS RO) has been developed. RGIS RO is a specialized multifunctional geoportal that provides interactive access to reliable information about various categories of objects. RGIS RO is accessible to a wide range of users, including government authorities, citizens, organizations, potential investors, and private companies. The Regional GIS of the Ryazan Region aids in decision-making across various areas of socio-economic development.
