The KB "Panorama" has developed the Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data version 8.7.1. The program now includes support for PostgreSQL 16 and all earlier versions starting from version 9.3. This enhances capabilities for managing spatial data, load distribution, and performance analysis. The Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Database enables the creation of flexible, secure, and high-performance systems at federal, regional, and municipal levels. With this software suite, it is possible to deploy geoportals on various platforms and ensure the storage of terabytes of data.

Data security is ensured through access rights segregation based on security features included in the operating system. Standard authentication, digest authentication, system authentication (via the web server), and domain authentication (Kerberos or Active Directory) are supported. Additional security is provided through the use of end-to-end authentication when working with the database. Connections to the database occur with the rights of the user interacting with the system. The suite is adapted to work on a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux SE, ALT Linux, Elbrus, Ubuntu, CentOS, MS Windows, and others) and architectures (Intel, Elbrus, Baikal). The program is registered in the domestic software registry under number 1862.

The Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data serves as the foundation for building spatial data infrastructure at federal, regional, and municipal levels within corporate information systems. Within a unified geoinformation space, the Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data implements the collection, storage, quality control, search, and provision of spatial data in exchange formats. Spatial data selected using the program can be made available for multi-user access on the GIS Server and published according to international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on the GIS WebService SE application server. Users can access the data from both thin clients (using GIS WebServer SE) and desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator"). The Database of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data ensures the construction of a cloud storage for spatial data, provides access to this data, and automates the formation and updating of geo-coverages.

The current state of spatial data is displayed using schematic maps, which are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, height matrices, and terrain models. Remote storage of spatial data sets in a file repository is ensured, along with version control of stored sets, updates to data availability schematic maps, automated collection and generation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-coverages. The automated collection and generation of metadata are performed according to the standards ISO 19115:2003, Geographic information — Metadata, and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information — Metadata — XML schema implementation. Reduced copies of data images are automatically created, checksums of files are verified, and the completeness of data sets is checked. The placement of spatial data in the file repository is carried out with integrity checks, as well as control over the structure and content of the data. The results of the operations are logged and entered into the metadata database. Automatic backup of metadata and the spatial data repository is provided with integrity checks and data recovery capabilities. A multilingual interface is supported.

The "Spatial Data Bank" portal demonstrates the capabilities for organizing the storage, accounting, and provision of vector maps, remote sensing data, height matrices, and terrain models. The portal contains vector maps in SXF format, generated based on data from open sources (OpenStreetMap, VMap0). The spatial data includes maps of Russian Federation subjects, countries, and cities both near and far abroad. In total, there are over 400 vector maps and 6,700 raster data sets with a total volume exceeding 220 GB. Specialists from the "Panorama" design bureau update and refresh the information on the portal weekly. All published data is distributed free of charge under an open license.

The new version of the program is available for download on the Download page.

The new version 15.3.0 of the GIS "Operator" has been developed by the "Panorama" Design Bureau. This version introduces support for dynamic placement and display of attribute values from object lists during the visualization of vector maps and spatial databases. The range of metadata available in the "Map Manager" task has also been expanded.

New geospatial portals have been added, including tools for viewing 3D geometry of BIM models for construction objects, buildings, structures, or complexes of construction objects, along with associated attribute information for model elements (e.g., material, article number, etc.).

The "Lists of objects" task has been improved. It now allows for labeling objects in the list based on a selected semantic characteristic. To label the list, the "Label Objects" mode must be activated. Next to this option, a semantic code is indicated, which will be used for labeling. The selection of the semantic code is done by clicking with the left mouse button in this area. By default, the semantic code contains the last selected value. The scale for labeling objects is set within the visibility boundaries of the labeled objects. Simultaneously, thematic highlighting on the map using symbols and labeling by semantics is available for list objects. The parameters for labeling can be modified using the "Editing styles" mode.

When changing labeling parameters or the semantic code, the labels on the map are updated (re-labeled). The labeling parameters and thematic layer displays are saved and restored when the application starts. Control over the visibility and order of the labeling layer display is managed in the "Map Legend" task, under the "General Data List" tab.

The task for Data connection with the geoportal has been refined. New geospatial portals from Rosreestr, the National Spatial Data System, and the Federal Forestry Agency have been added. For Rosreestr services, layers such as Digital Orthophoto Plans of EECO (Unified Electronic Cartographic Basis), Digital Topographic Maps and Plans of EECO have been included. For the National Spatial Data System service, layers such as Digital Object Schemes - Open Data, EECO, EECO (Orthophoto), Orthophoto Plans 1:2000, Remote Sensing Data for the Russian Federation, Cadastral Districts, Cadastral Areas, Cadastral Quarters, Land Plots, Buildings, Structures, Incomplete Construction Objects, Boundaries of Settlements, Zones with Special Conditions, Territorial Zones, Forestry Areas, Territorial Cultural Heritage Sites, Specially Protected Natural Areas, Hunting Grounds, Special Economic Zones, Territories of Advanced Development, Boundaries of Water Bodies, and Plots Subject to Cadastral Survey have been added. For the Federal Forestry Agency service, a layer showing Boundaries of Forest Districts has been included.

A new geospatial portal "Road Fund Control System" has been added. The following layers have been included for the geospatial portal: Automobile Roads, Sections of the Backbone Network, Road Graph, Airports, Sea Ports, River Ports, Category according to SP 42.1330, Railway Junctions, Border Checkpoints, Ferry Crossings, Regulatory Condition of Roads, Overload Sections, Diagnostic Data, Longitudinal Evenness, Strength of Road Surface, Road Activity - Five-Year Plan, Sections Under Warranty, Toll Sections, Toll Payment Points, Technical Category of the Road, Number of Lanes (units), Axle Load (tons/axle), Maximum Speed (km/h), Capacity, Traffic Intensity, Width of the Roadway (m), Width of the Embankment (m), Type of Pavement, Road Class, Bridge Structures, Tunnels, Pipes, Accident-Prone Areas, Traffic Accidents, PAVK (Traffic Safety Commission), Lighting, Kilometer Markers, Traffic Lights, Stops, Pedestrian Crossings, Road Service Facilities, and Maintenance Stations.

In the "View" menu, a task "Viewing BIM models" has been added. BIM (Building Information Model) is an object-oriented model consisting of elements, each belonging to its own class — walls, ceilings, windows, reinforcement, and so on. The class of an element determines the set of properties and behavior of that element. This task supports the IFC format — an open standard for representing BIM data. To assign a BIM model, it is necessary to select an object on the map and use the "Object Selection" dialog in the "Semantics" tab to specify a link to the file (semantics: Link to BIM Model File). The BIM model can be viewed by double-clicking the left mouse button on the row in the table with this semantics. To view the list of BIM models in the open document, select the main menu item View - List of BIM Models - Show. In this dialog, modes for viewing the BIM model and navigating to the map object for which the model was assigned are available. To highlight (color) the list of BIM models on the map, select the main menu item View - List of BIM models - Highlight. The objects that have a filled link to the BIM model in their semantics will be highlighted on the map. The style of highlighting (symbols) for objects can be configured in the dialog View - List of BIM Models - Highlighting Options. When highlighting objects with BIM models is enabled, a quick selection of the nearest BIM model to the cursor on the map is available. By clicking the left mouse button in any area of the document, the dialog for viewing the BIM model will be called up. Control over the visibility of the thematic layer of BIM models is managed in the "Map Legend" task under the "General Data List" tab. The "View BIM Model" dialog is presented as a 3D image and a tree of model attributes. The model can be zoomed using the mouse wheel and rotated by pressing the left mouse button and moving left, right, up, or down. An element of the model can be selected both in the attribute tree and in the 3D view window of the object. Accordingly, navigation to the element will occur with subsequent highlighting in both the 3D view window and the attribute tree.

A centralized tool for updating classifiers and XML service files (coordinate system parameters and others) on client workstations has been added when updating classifiers on the GIS Server. To this end, a "Host" field has been added in the "Placement of data" dialog, which contains the classifiers' references on the GIS Server. This field is used to set the host address where the GIS Server version 11.1.0 or higher is installed. The GIS Server Administrator must specify the location of the shared classifiers folder on the server. Classifiers placed in the shared classifiers folder on the server will be automatically updated on the client if the GIS Server host is specified. If classifiers with the same name and extensions RSC and RSCZ are recorded on the GIS Server simultaneously, only RSC will be considered. If an RSC classifier is placed on the server and an RSCZ classifier is on the client, or vice versa, an automatic replacement of the classifier type will occur based on the type on the server. To reduce network load, updates can be performed with a delay of several seconds.

The "Map Editor" has been improved. The ability to rotate vector symbols with one metric point has been added. If the symbol is localized as "Vector", a second point is added to the object. If the symbol is localized as "Point", rotation of such symbols is performed by adding the semantics "Rotation Angle of Symbol, Insertion" (code 31017). Rotation of vector symbols is available in the following modes: Move, Scale, and Rotate (in the main toolbar of the editor); Rotate Object, Rotate Vector Object, Tilt Vector Object (in the "Point Editing" panel).

The "Manager of maps" task has been enhanced. This task is designed to store and use information about cartographic data. The new version includes information about digital map project files and spatial database files. The project file information has been supplemented with data on the number of maps in the project, showing how many user maps, matrices, and rasters are included in the digital map. For DBM files with connection parameters to the spatial database, the connection name, host/server, port number, and database name are displayed.

The "Setting parameters for searching or displaying map objects" dialog has been improved. In the "Semantics" tab, a check has been added for input values of semantics to ensure they match the string pattern specified in the classifier, which defines allowable characters, such as GUID, cadastral number, and others. For numerical characteristics, a check for belonging to the value range established in the map classifier is provided. If discrepancies in entered data are detected, the text of the string is highlighted in red.

The new version of the program is available for download in the Download section.
