Specialists from KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on working with the task
The task "Hydrography Objects and Elevation Matrices Alignment Tool" is designed to form absolute heights at the nodes of hydrographic objects considering flow directions based on height matrices with subsequent correction of matrices. Hydrographic objects are processed using the hydrolay.xml file, which is added to the GIS "Panorama" installation. The video tutorial demonstrates the setup of data processing modes, which include one or multiple stages:
- Preparation of hydrographic objects/ Hydrographic objects are aligned with each other.
- Placement of absolute heights of objects/ For linear hydrographic objects, heights are decreased from the first point to the last, and heights are adjusted based on the object's direction. Otherwise, the program automatically changes the object's digitization direction. For area hydrographic objects with constant height, the height is calculated as the arithmetic mean of heights in matrices falling within the object. For area hydrographic objects with variable height, point heights depend on heights in matrices and heights of adjacent hydrographic objects.
- Correction of height matrices. At this stage, heights from hydrographic objects are transferred to the matrix. Heights are smoothed near hydrographic objects if a smoothing radius is specified.
The result of completing the task is the formation of absolute height at each nodal point of the hydrographic object depending on the object type. When selecting the height matrix correction mode, a height matrix with corrected heights is generated. Educational materials can be found in the

In KB "Panorama",
The program now includes data export to MIF/MID format. Users can export data to MapInfo Interchange Format (MIF/MID), expanding compatibility with various mapping systems. Support for searching multiple user objects in a single query has been implemented. This innovation significantly speeds up and simplifies the process of searching for information on the map. Layer transparency settings have been added to blend and display multiple layers simultaneously. This function allows adjusting the transparency level of layers, providing a more visual representation of data. Displaying the last transaction number on the map when searching for objects has been implemented. This enhancement enables showing the last transaction number, useful for tracking changes and managing data.
The new version can create layers from data in text files in CSV, TXT, XYH formats, expanding data input options and simplifying integration into the system. A limitation on the maximum size of the file issued in the GetFeature request has been introduced, allowing for system load management and improving performance. A request for issuing and building a vector tile when working with vector data has been added. GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS, WPS) for transmitting and displaying spatial data. The program features the ability to issue tiles in any user or local coordinate system. The application is developed for Windows and Linux platforms, compatible with Apache, IIS, and nginx web servers.
The new version of the program and documentation are available on the website in the
