    In the KB "Panorama," the "Workstation of the urban-planner" version 15.2.3 has been developed. The new version introduces the "Spatial Objects of the Urban Planning Information System" mode, expands the list of directories and classifiers of the information system, and implements a mechanism for synchronizing the attributes of spatial data sets with the semantics of the digital map classifier.

    The registry "Spatial Objects of the Urban Planning Information System" is designed to maintain thematic sets of spatial data used in recording information in the urban planning activity support information system. The data sets include information on classes of spatial objects in vector model in relation to associated documents and attribute data. The structure of thematic data sets and the composition of used directories are implemented in accordance with the technical requirements for maintaining registers of state information systems supporting urban planning activities, as per the order of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation dated August 6, 2020, No. 433/pr.

    Developed according to the order, the urban.v2.rsc classifier enables the creation of a multi-layer digital map and its application in preparing documents for urban planning zoning, territorial planning documents, creating consolidated plans of surface and underground communications and structures. The classifier systematizes code designations of capital construction objects, engineering infrastructure networks, electrical networks, communication networks, elements of layout structure, zones with special land use conditions, and lists features characterizing the properties of these objects. Each thematic data set contains its immutable set of attributes. Unified directories and classifiers of the information system supporting urban planning activities are used to systematize attributes. Object class attributes are synchronized with the semantics of the urban.v2.rsc classifier. To establish spatial-logical connections between documents recorded in the Urban Planning Information System and information with spatial map objects, an attribute "Spatial Data Class" has been added. This is a systematized group of data indicating belonging to a thematic data set. The new version of the program is available for download in the Download section.

    Specialists from KB "Panorama" in collaboration with students from MIIGAiK have prepared a video lesson on working with the "Group of modes Point" and "Topology subpanel" modes. The educational material showcases the capabilities of point and object editing tools, as well as moving, deleting, and aligning objects. These modes are accessed from the "Map Editor" task panel and are available to users of GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-editor", GIS Panorama Mini, and other software products.

    The video tutorial demonstrates methods of changing an object by editing its points: adding or removing points on an object; capturing a node or any point on a straight object; changing the direction from the starting point of the object to the endpoint, and other actions. It also illustrates ways to create copies of object sections, create intersection points, and align multiple objects. To access the educational materials, visit the "Video lessons" section.

    Geoportal "Bank of spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of the Republic of Benin, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

    Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

    Specialists at KB "Panorama" have prepared a video tutorial on working with the task "Calculation of values of semantics for incoming objects" in the GIS "Panorama". This task allows for analyzing the distribution of a group of objects within selected polygons (area objects) and filling in the semantic characteristics of the polygons based on the results of the analysis. The values of the polygon semantics are determined based on a set of corresponding values of characteristics of the analyzed objects that are either fully or partially within the polygons. This task operates in two modes: semantic calculations and copying semantics from incoming objects to selected polygons.

    The video tutorial demonstrates the functional feature of the task "Calculation of values of semantics for incoming objects". Using an example of an Administrative-Territorial map, the total value of a specified object characteristic inside each polygon is calculated, taking into account the correction coefficient for the inclusion of analyzed objects in the selected polygon. The copying of semantics from incoming objects to polygon objects is performed according to established characteristic codes. In the example data, values of semantic characteristics are copied from point objects to polygon objects (area objects). The tutorial also shows how to use tools for clearing cells and deleting rows in the semantics table through a right-click context menu in the table row.
