Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson about the functionality of the "Classifier Editor" task available to users in the GIS "Panorama". Classifier of a digital map is a set of description of layers of a vector map, views of objects and their conventional symbols, types of semantic characteristics and the values accepted by them, presented in a digital form. Classifiers are created taking into account subjects and a scale of a map.

The "Classifier editor" task provides management of the composition of layers, objects and attributes, formation of a palette and fonts, creation and editing of the appearance of symbols for 2D and 3D display of spatial data. The classifier editor is divided into tabs. The video lesson demonstrates the functionality of each tab, as well as shows the examples of data.

On the "Palette" tab, the ability to create several palettes for special-purpose maps has been added. In the example of data the use of several palettes on sea maps has been demonstrated. In the "Layers" section, the formation of classes, that is, layers of a lower level, has been implemented. With the help of classes, a faster search for objects on the map, changes in the contents of the display, and selection of an object for drawing on the map are performed.

For display of densely located point symbols, an automatic clustering algorithm has been implemented, start of which is carried out in the "Clusters" tab. When the map is heavily loaded, it is possible to combine signs of similar meaning into groups and, if the conditions are met, instead of several signs, display one - generalizing one. Maps with the clusters customized in the classifier are automatically supported in all desktop and web applications, as well as in applications developed in GIS ToolKit and a GIS Constructor.

"Workstation of cadastral engineer" is a software package for performing the entire cycle of cadastral work: from requesting information from the Unified State Register of Real Estate to generating a package of documents for state cadastral registration. The program supports the creation of both a digital and printed version of a land survey, technical plan, map (plan), scheme of an arrangement of a land plot on the cadastral plan of the territory and other documents necessary for cadastral registration and land management. The product is supplied in 2 versions: "Workstation of cadastral engineer" or "Workstation of cadastral engineer Pro".

"Workstation of urban planner" - the automated workplace of urban planner based on GIS Panorama Mini and additional module "Complex of urban-planning tasks". The complex is intended for automation of activity on development and management of the territories, carried out in the form of territorial planning, urban-planning zoning, territory planning, land management, conducting the account of objects of the land and property complex, an improvement of territories and other urban-planning activity.

"Workstation of agronomist" - a basic automated workplace of an agronomist based on the GIS Panorama Mini and the additional module "Complex of agronomical tasks". The software package is aimed at a special application in agriculture and is designed to create and edit cartographic and attributive information about agricultural land, including the processing of field survey materials and the results of laboratory analysis of agrochemical indicators of arable land.

"Workstation of geologist" is a set of GIS Panorama Mini programs and additional modules: "Complex of geological tasks", "Complex of hydrological tasks" and "Calculating bulks of earth works". The program is designed to process the results of engineering-geological surveys, prepare and generate drawings of engineering-geological columns and sections, calculate volumes and create plans for earthworks.

In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 14.6.0 has been developed. In the new version the mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" has been added by tools of use of the list of conformity of local coordinate systems to their geodetic parametres and designations in XML the files, issued from the Unified State Register of Real Estate. For conducting the list of conformity in mode dialogue new elements for displaying and managing values of the list have been added. For the initial filling of the list a reading the information about the coordinate systems of each object in XML-files under the scheme "extract_cadastral_plan_territory" and an output of unique values into the table "Source data coordinate systems" have been implemented. The adjusted list of conformity can be saved in the form of a file for a reuse when updating a cadastral map by the new data from EGRN.

The task "Map Editor" has been improved. In a mode "Object samples" the maximum number of objects samples (buttons) in the samples ruler has been increased up to 32 and the maximum number of rulers up to 12. The use of pre-prepared samples speeds up the process of creating and updating vector terrain maps for various purposes. The improved mode "Create an object copy" allows you to put a copy of an object or a group of marked objects on each mouse click. This method allows you to increase the speed of putting objects of the same type. In modes of creating new objects, the possibility of a binding to the geometrical center of the object selected on the map has been added. The new auxiliary mode is implemented in the form of the button on the auxiliary panel and a menu item appearing by pressing the right mouse button.

The mode "Correction of registry errors" has been improved in terms of generating an electronic XML document for buildings. The function of reading information about the scale of a graphic file inserted into a report has been fixed. In the dialog of mode "Editing attributes of a cadastral object", the tables the "List of documents", "Geodesic base" and "Information about the coordinate system referenced by the features" have been deleted, so as the specified information is stored in the Database of cadastral works.

The mode "Base of cadastral works" has been improved, in the absence of contracts in the database of cadastral works, the database file was not updated from version 2.0 and below to the current version. In the "Land Survey Plan" mode, it is possible to add more than one file into the tables "Graphic files that contain acts of harmonization of the location of the boundaries of land" and "Graphics file (files) containing a drawing of plots". Button "Add document from database into list" has been restored. With several selected objects on the map, information on only one object got into the data tree in the "Land Survey plan" dialog and during the formation of the XML document. The recording into the XML file of the SpecifyParcel element has been corrected, the recording of the SpecifyRelatedParcel and SpecifyParcelApproximal sections has been added. The "Forest declaration" mode has been improved, a recording has been added into Appendix 4 and 5 of information about objects that fall into Appendix 1 (draft).

For the modes "Object intersection calculation", "View object intersection" and "Object intersection control", the processing of lists of initial objects has been accelerated and multi-threaded processing of intersections has been implemented, including taking into account multipolygons. The algorithm for calculating the intersection area for multi-contour objects has been changed. Displaying the number of objects in the initial data lists and the counter of the number of intersections have been added. In the "Object intersection calculation" mode, an indication of the elapsed time and how much time is left until the completion of the calculation has been added. In the "To sign the area and the name of object" mode, the dividing line is drawn taking into account the scale of the map. In the "Generate road profile" mode dialog, the font height of on-screen elements has been corrected.

The task "Data list" has been improved, for the "Rasters" tab, a call to the "Exporting rasters to format TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PCX" dialog is added, which is intended for exporting a rasters group of document into files of graphic formats. Due to the use of multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor, the time for exporting a group of rasters was reduced by 5-7 times. In the connecting geoportals mode, the ability to work offline with a prepared copy of data from geoportals has been added. This mode allows you to work with the pyramid of tiles that the user has, without passing requests to the selected geoportals. Offline mode allows you to increase the speed and security of opening and displaying geoportals in the absence of a connection.

Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared and placed the map of the Kurgan region on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data". The map was formed using OpenStreetMap data. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m) and was saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region) and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps".

Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson of the work of the "Map Passport" dialog. In dialog the list of open maps is displayed, the name of the digital classifier and the map name are specified. Here the user defines map type, projection, spheroid, system of heights, GUID, scale and a type of storing coordinates. At storage of coordinates in meters the accuracy of coordinates is set. The considered task is available to users of GIS "Panorama", GIS Panorama Mini, "Panorama-editor", "Workstation of cadastral engineer" and other software products of KB "Panorama".

The "From map" button opens the "Import projection parameters" dialog. Here you can select an existing map, copy the projection data from it, and then make the necessary changes. By the button "From XML" the task "Parameters of reference systems from XML file" is called, which reads the values of constant projections and datums from the .xml file. Further the passport of a vector map can be edited. When you click on the "From document" button, data is read from the main document and automatically entered into the dialog fields. The button "Save in XML" allows to start the task "Parameters of reference systems from XML file" with which help it is possible to edit the file.xml.
