The maps were led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, the online-presentation of KB "Panorama" software products took place. The event was attended by representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Bulgaria and the Russian Federation.

Specialists of KB "Panorama" spoke about the capabilities of the "Geoportal Region" program complex for maintaining a bank of spatial data, publishing digital cartographic information, Earth remote sensing (ERS) data, thematic information from databases, documents, navigation information, organizing remote interaction with automated systems management, systems for monitoring the state of the area, transport management, ensuring urban planning tasks, maintaining a cadastre of land and real estate, and others.

The software of the complex for maintaining a regional geoportal is entered in the Register of certified information security means of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and can be used to process information classified as "secret". Complex of maintaining a databank of digital maps and remote sensing data, GIS Server and GIS "Panorama" were accepted for supply by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation as part of a number of hardware and software complexes.

The Complex of maintaining a databank of digital maps and remote sensing data is applied to conducting bank of spatial data. It provides storage in exchange formats of digital vector maps and city plans, remote sensing data, scanned map materials, DEMs and terrain models, documents. Remote interaction with automated control systems and information systems can be carried out using GIS WebService SE. OGC protocols based on international standards of the ISO 19100 series (OGC WMS, WMTS, TMS, WCS, WFS) are supported. Industrial protocols of information interaction based on SOAP and REST standards are used. The cartographic representation of the terrain for the geographic information system is formed in the form of a data pyramid. Primary processing of ready-made cartographic data for slicing in the form of a pyramid of tiles is performed using the Imagery Creator program. In the future, when updating maps and plans for individual areas of the terrain, the tile pyramid is automatically updated using the Imagery Service. Multiuser access to spatial data is carried out using the GIS Server. Professional GIS "Panorama" provides the creation and updating of digital terrain maps based on space or aerial photography materials, the construction of a mosaic of orthophotomaps from space images, the creation of three-dimensional terrain models, the formation of thematic maps for displaying applied information from databases, navigation devices and other sources, support for various projections and coordinate systems, performing quality control of the input data.
