    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 8.6 is developed. The new version adds support for loading pyramids of tiles of format BIR (mbtiles) stored in a SQLite database into the Databank. Pyramids of tiles can be placed and downloaded as separate folders or from a common directory. GIS Server automatically determines the composition of the pyramid subdirectories by metadata stored in the SQLite database. Processing of pyramids of three types is supported: remote sensing data, matrixes of elevation, images obtained from digital maps. Pyramids of tiles recorded into virtual folders of the GIS Server are automatically published for clients who have access rights to these folders.

    Processing of command is added for performing the control of absence of the information forbidden for displaying on Public Digital Topographic Maps (PDTM) under the scheme of control which is customized in the Complex of control of absence of the closed information on the PDTM. By the command of an external application (by Data Bank operator), the GIS Server can monitor the list of SXF files placed in a virtual folder or stored in the Data Bank. The control protocol is generated in the form of an html file by a report template. The installation includes a checkopen.cxml scheme, prepared according to the classifier 25t05gopen.rsc. The scheme can be applied to the DTM of various scales corresponding to the information cartographical support.

    GIS-core libraries are updated. The transformation of the coordinate system of raster and matrix data during the formation of a geo-cover is accelerated by 10-15 times due to the use of multi-thread processing for multi-core processors and new algorithms for tile processing.

    The new technology allows you to use a single mathematical apparatus that allows you to simulate the consequences of emergency situations of natural and man-made nature. It is implemented for desktop and web-based applications in Windows and Linux operating systems.

    With the use of this technology, KB "Panorama" has developed a new version of the complex for predicting the consequences of emergency situations. The complex is an applied task, working as a part of GIS "Panorama" 12 and GIS "Operator". Models of emergency situations (ES) are implemented according to the following scenarios:

    - occurrence of an emergency at a chemically hazardous object;

    - occurrence of an emergency at a radiation-hazardous object;

    - occurrence of an emergency at a biologically hazardous object;

    - occurrence of emergency situations at an explosive object;

    - occurrence of emergency situations at a hydraulic structure.

    The complex allows you to build a zone of possible damage in the established conventional symbols and to perform the calculation of the parameters of the damaging factors on the situation map of the area of emergency. The resulting map is intended to further perform various analytical operations: determining buildings (personnel, population) that have fallen into the affected area, calculating the distance of objects from the accident zone, building evacuation routes or entering special equipment using the road graph, etc. The complex was developed on the basis of the guidelines adopted in the Russian Federation.

    KB "Panorama" developed tools the GIS ToolKit version 12.7.2. The new version adds the ability to display vector maps, rasters and matrixes in the form of insert. Insert is a fragment of spatial data that is displayed as a rectangular area on top of the main map document. The data is displayed against the background of the main map in its projection, coordinate system and scale in the designated area. The size, position, background color, color and thickness of the frame, visibility borders of the inset can be changed.

    The new component TMapInset is responsible for working with the inserts in the toolbox. For the convenience of working with insets, the TMapManager map management component has been improved. It allows you to change properties of insert by means of the pop-up menu (background color, frame display, document type, location). The composition of the maps insets, their properties can be customized in the professional GIS "Panorama".

    Toolset the GIS ToolKit version 12 is intended to develop client-server and desktop 32-bit and 64-bit applications that require processing and visualization of spatial data. The toolkit is used for programming in the Embarcadero XE5-XE10 environment and requires minimal settings. GIS ToolKit consists of a set of visual components (supplied in source code) and API functions of the GIS-core for direct access to the database of geodata. The geodata database can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and in the local network or the Internet (the components of the GIS Server access or the exchange of data under the international protocols are used).

    May 2019 marks the 240th anniversary of the creation of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK). The program of the anniversary year includes a large number of events. Specialists of KB "Panorama" will take part in the exhibition-review of modern equipment, systems and technologies "MIIGAIK-TEX" and the international scientific and technical conference "Spatial data - a basis of strategic planning, management and development". The events will be held on the territory of Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography from May 27 to 29, 2019.

    At the exhibition and conference the new possibilities of technologies of GIS "Panorama" for automating the processes of creation, storage and publication of spatial information in the context of wide application of geoservices will be presented. The updated technology of automated generalization of topographic maps is adapted for application of the data placed on the GIS Server, including when rendering the object-oriented databases. The Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data supports the storage of various types of digital maps, remote sensing data of the Earth, catalogs of planning-height basis points, materials of engineering survey, including with the support of local coordinate systems. To maintain the base of three-dimensional models, tools for importing 3D data from PHOTOMOD, Geoscan and others programs have been developed.

    New possibilities of processing and analyzing three-dimensional terrain models are implemented in desktop and web-based applications. They interact with geoservices and geoportals that can be deployed using software products: GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE, Imagery Creator and others.

    In the year of the 240th anniversary of Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Higher Geodesic Administration (VSU) and the development of the cartographic and geodetic industry, which are closely related to the history of MIIGAiK, is celebrated. The conference will be attended by representatives of science, business and government from Russia, the CIS and other countries. The conference will be held with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Military Topographical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Federal Registration Service.

    Participants of the celebrations at MIIGAiK will be able to familiarize themselves with the software products of the domestic geo-information platform, the application of which solves the problems of limited performance of traditional methods of storing spatial data in the file system, automates the process of updating spatial data and allows you to organize cloud GIS technology.

    On the basis of the software of KB "Panorama", geoportals for various purposes have been implemented, such as GIS "Rosseti", GIS subsystem of the Federal State Information System of Territorial Planning, "Geoportal of open data of the EMERCOM of Russia", "Reference-information of the city of Simferopol" and others.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared a video lesson "Map creation. Building a mathematical basis". It is intended for the English-speaking users independently studying possibilities a GIS "Panorama". It is intended for the English-speaking users independently studying possibilities of the GIS "Panorama". In this lesson a creation of two types of maps is considered. Formation of a mathematical basis for a multi-sheet map and building a coordinate grid for a large-scale map are demonstrated.

    From the training material, users will become familiar with the "Create map" dialog, which is started from the "File-New-Map" menu item. After filling all the required fields of the dialog box, you can save the map by giving it a name. To copy the map sheets, use the "View Passport" mode from the "Tools" panel. Creation of a mathematical basis of a map is carried out by means of the mode with the same name in the "Run applications" section. The final part of the video lesson demonstrates the creation of a simplified scale plan, the start of the mode is available from the menu item "File-New-Plan".
