    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared and placed on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" the map of the Astrakhan region. The map was formed using OpenStreetMap data, source data was obtained from Geofabrik website. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".
    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc) and were saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region), a map of the administrative-territorial division of the region and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 29.04.2021 GIS "Panorama" automates the preparation of infographics from statistical information on regions of the Russian Federation and municipal districts
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 13.6.6 has been developed. To automate the preparation of infographics from public statistical information by the regions of the Russian Federation and municipal districts, the Show statistics mode has been added. Statistical data should be presented in the form of a table in CSV format. The table can consist of two or more columns one of which should contain names of subjects of the Russian Federation or municipal districts of the subject of the Russian Federation. When you open the CSV file, a thematic map is built using the regions.sitz map included in the installation. The map regions.sitz contains objects of administrative division of the Russian Federation: territories of federal districts, subjects and areas. The link of table fields with objects of a map is carried out by semantics "Name". To obtain a better result, the table should contain the correct names of subjects or districts. Into the installation of the program, several examples have been added which were loaded from the website of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat). The result of the construction is a thematic map containing the colored territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation or regions of the selected subject, a scale of ranges of values of statistical data and a list of names of territorial objects with the values of the selected statistical data. The resulting map can be printed, or be saved into files of vector (SVG, EMF) and raster (PNG, TIFF) formats.
    In the Creation of thematic map task, the mode "Coloring by distance from selected objects" has been added. The mode performs coloring of areal objects in accordance with the distance from the selected objects. Polygons for coloring are set by the "Filter" button. For example, to build a map of the distance between forest areas relative to roads it is necessary: to select the road network objects (highways, streets, improved and unpaved roads) on the map, to select polygons for coloring (forest areas) in the dialog and perform construction. The task is started through the main menu Tools/Run applications/Thematic maps and diagrams.
    New mode File/Add/Photos allows to load photos containing the coordinates of the geographic location into the open map of the region. Typically, photographs taken with digital cameras and mobile phones equipped with a GPS receiver have such properties. Photos are displayed on the map as icons (thumbnails). When the map is increased, the photo is enlarged, allowing you to see the photo in more detail. Loading of photos is carried out into a service map which is saved in the document folder and is entered into the document maps list. When you reopen the document, the map with photos opens automatically.
    In the Search by name dialog, the algorithm of search by the list of strings in the "Partial match" mode has been refined. In each string, a search by partial match is performed for each substring, separated by a space, period, comma, semicolon, or tab. If the substring contains only digits, then the same substring is searched for without other digits at the edges (for substring "21" the substring "121" or "213" will not be found, but "21.0" is acceptable). This allows, for example, to find an address by the first letters of the street name and the exact house number.
    The "Land survey plan" mode has been improved. In connection with the updating of the composition and content of XSD-reference books of the values of attributes of objects of cadastral registration, the digital classifier (survey.v6.rsc) was updated, a new XML-schema was prepared (version 8), the formation of an XML-document according to the new schema was implemented. Formation of a land survey plan according to the MP_v06 scheme is not supported in program versions 13.6.6 and higher. To form a land survey plan according to the MP_v06 scheme, it is necessary to install the Complex of geodetic calculations version 13.6.5 on top of the GIS Panorama 13.6.6.
    The dialog "Editing the attributes of the object of cadastral works" has been updated. Elements have been added for entering and editing information about the land survey project, information about the zone or territory and the permitted use of forests. The auxiliary dialog for entering and editing repeated semantics has been improved. Checks for attempts to work with semantics not described in the map classifier have been added.
    Modes the "Technical building plan" and the "Technical plan" (premises) have been improved. There were added the end-to-end numbering of the characteristic points of the contour boundaries for the multi-contour part of the construction, the processing of the metrics of multipolygons that characterize the outer contours of real estate objects.
    In group of applications "Check and correction of data", the task Adjustment of isolines and linear hydrography objects has been improved. In the area of contour adjustment with linear hydrographic objects, a check has been added for intersections with other contour lines, which may occur when deformation of contour fragments of horizontal lines with the selected adjustment parameters and the density of contour lines on the map. If such intersections are found, the deformation of the horizontal line is canceled and a corresponding message is recorded in the log of control results.
    Task Control of absolute height has been improved. Possibility of using the control schemes has been added. The types of control specified in the dialog, their parameters, and also the composition of processed objects are saved in an XML file in the general folder of program's tasks parameters. The task performs control of isobaths, contours and elevations. Control of contours checks the heights of thick, main and additional contours, as well as other objects with the "absolute height" semantics. Control of isobaths checks the values of depths and marks of depths. Control of elevations marks checks the presence of marks inside the closed contours, and also planned position of the found marks concerning the closed contours. The user can create separate control schemes for detecting the gross errors in absolute heights, as well as for additional check of the terrain, taking into account the characteristics of the area.
    The dialog for editing the semantics of list of objects has been improved - for convenience and speeding up the process of displaying and changing semantics, the ability has been added to display into the table not all permissible characteristics that satisfy the search conditions, but only those semantics that really belong to the object.

  • 28.04.2021 Complex for preparing documents of aeronautical information automates the process of preparing maps for publication
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information version 7.7 for the GIS "Panorama" has been developed. The new version makes it possible to form a legend of aeronautical maps with tables of restrictions on route sections, areas of air traffic service and prohibited areas. The program automates the process of preparing an aeronautical map for printing. The new version provides for the function of partial updating the main attributes of aeronautical objects of the map, which allows making minor changes in the current situation.
    Dialogs of input of the aeronautical data are supplemented with functions of closing the objects of air navigation by date with possibility of copying with the dates of action following the date of closing. The mode allows you to quickly make corrections, reducing labor costs for filling in the attributes of new objects with minor changes.
    The form for entering the minimum safe heights for the airfield has been improved. This makes it possible to enter into the database all types of circles of minimum safe heights with absolute or relative heights. All boundaries of ICAO areas in the aeronautical database have been updated and Nakhichevan region as the UB1 region has been added.
    The complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information is intended for the creating and maintaining a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical maps, the designing of aircraft flight routes and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in the format of ARINC and AIXM 5.1. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the AICM (Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model), with additions for storing planned information and results of designing routes. The model is recommended by the "Eurocontrol" - international organization of planning and coordination of air traffic.

  • 23.04.2021 In professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" the possibilities of creating and updating topographic maps on materials of open data geoportals have been expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" version 13.6.5 has been developed. In the new version, for the task of connecting geoportals, support has been added for layers from the Rosreestr geoportal: Cadastral okrug, Cadastral districts, Cadastral quarters, Land plots, Land plots put up for auction, Red lines, Unified real estate complexes. Geoportal provides data in vector tile form. The obtained data contains the coordinates of objects, signatures of plots, semantic characteristics. The parameters of connection to geoportals, stored in the wmslist_ru.xml file, have been updated.
    To access the geoportals in the "Panorama-editor", a mechanism for loading spatial data from WFS services is used. Web Feature Service (WFS) is a geographic information transfer protocol used to exchange spatial vector data on the Internet. Instead of an exchanging the geographical information at level of files, use of WFS protocol offers direct access to the geographical information, namely to objects of a vector map, their attributive information and the metadata. This web service allows clients to retrieve only the data they are looking for, rather than retrieving the entire file, significantly speeding up the exchange of data and the work with the resulting file.
    The task "Import of MTD-model from LAS-file" has been improved. The task carries out formation of MTD models from LAS files obtained using LIDAR laser locators. Data of LAS-files can contain results of sounding the earth or sea surface, atmosphere. The MTD model contains point measurements sorted block-by-block, which provides quick access to data for solving computational and analytical problems. The new method of block filling the MTD model reduces the loading time of LAS files larger than 8 GB by 3-5 times. Loading of control LAS file with number of points of 555 million in volume of 14.4 Gbytes is executed for 16 minutes.
    When searching and selecting objects on a map, the ability to group mathematical formulas for a combination of mathematical expressions and logical conditions has been added. For example, in the presence of semantics with the amount of saltpeter in tons applied to a given area, and semantics with the class of soil fertility, it is necessary to select areas where the amount of nitrogen per hectare is optimal. Let semantics 123 contain the amount of saltpeter applied to the area in tons, and semantics 345 contain the soil fertility class (from 1 to 6). Since the area of the plot (S) is calculated in square meters, and ammonium nitrate contains 34.5% of nitrogen, the formula for calculating the specific dose of nitrogen will look like: "#123*1000*0.345/ (S/10000)" or simplified "#123*3450000/S". For the first class of fertility, we set the first group of formulas: "#345" with boundary values 1 and 1 and "#123*3450000/S" with boundary values 40 and 50, for the second class the boundary values of the first formula are 2 and 2, the second 45 and 55 and so on. Within the group, select the logical "AND" condition - both formulas must meet the boundary conditions. We select the logical "OR" condition between the groups - although in one group the conditions must be fulfilled during the calculation. When you press the button, all areas where the nitrogen dose is optimal will be highlighted. The typed conditions can be saved in templates of search conditions under the specified names and applied as necessary.
    In the "Geodesy editor" task, the modes of generating reports for preparing graphical applications for the forest declaration approved by order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation dated July, 30th, 2020 N 539 were updated. Report templates for the forest declaration were updated, processing of new markers was added and the digital classifier of map forestry.v2 was improved, used to prepare maps of graphics application for forest declaration.
    The modes "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" and "Create objects from XML file of the cadastre", which are part of the task "Cadastral documents", have been improved. The algorithm for reading data about the elements of the structures contour has been improved. If the contour of capital construction object (CCO) is represented by a set of elements of different types (point, line, arc, circle), then a set of objects of different localization (linear and point) is created on the map. For elements with the "circle" type, point objects are created that contain the radius value in the semantics. For elements "point", "line", "arch" the linear objects are created. As a result of loading, one CCO can be represented on the map by several objects of different localization with the same value of the "Cadastre number" semantics.

  • 21.04.2021 In GIS WebService SE the technology of interaction with spatial databases has been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.9.5 has been developed. In the new version a support of Microsoft SQL Server databases (DB) has been added. Interaction with the database is carried out through the dbm settings file, which contains the main connection parameters. Working with the database is possible both directly with tables and using a user SQL query. The service provides two-way communication with the database. The service supports a working with three types of DBMS directly PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server.

    The service's administrator interface has been improved when working with databases. Support of PHP version 8 was added. The request of deleting the user layers has been implemented. Support of local coordinate systems was added when outputting into GEOJSON. The capabilities of the service for thematic mapping have been expanded. A new request for building a thematic map using a text file has been added. The request will allow together with GIS WebServer SE to form a graphic map according to various data: maps of distribution of illnesses, birth rate, mining operations, rates of building and much more.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), which are used to transfer and display spatial data. The program implements the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 19.04.2021 Training video on formation of documents for FSIS TP has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson on exporting territorial planning data in GML format for subsequent transmission to the FSIS TP portal. Users of the "Workstation of urban planner", GIS "Panorama" or "Panorama-editor" can form documents of territorial planning of municipalities using a complex of urban planning tasks.

    The training material demonstrates features of data preparation, filling of the mandatory characteristics and formation of GML files in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated 01/09/2018 в„– 10. On the basis of this order in software products of KB "Panorama" the classifier of conventional symbols terrplan.v5.rsc has been developed. The classifier implements a general list of layers, objects and attributive characteristics of objects of territorial planning and urban planning activities.

    The task "Exporting a map of territorial planning documents into GML format" provides reading of map objects and their unloading into a file of GML format. Maps of territorial planning documents are made in accordance with the level of management: schemes of territorial planning the Russian Federation, scheme of territorial planning the subject of the Russian Federation, scheme of territorial planning a municipal district, a general plan of an urban district and a general plan of an urban settlement.

  • 14.04.2021 In GIS ToolKit the possibilities of applying mathematical formulas have been improved when searching and editing objects
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS ToolKit version 13.3.1 has been developed for creation of GIS-applications in the environment of C ++ Builder, Delphi Embarcadero. In the new version there is expanded the use of mathematical expressions (formulas), including various mathematical operations on the values of the object semantics and its measuring properties when searching and editing objects. A bookmark for entering a list of mathematical formulas and a range of values that the calculation result must correspond to has been added into the "Object Search" dialog. In the "Object Search" dialog (TMapFind component), a bookmark has been added for entering a list of mathematical formulas and a range of values to which the calculation result must correspond. When searching for objects, you can set the criteria for selecting objects based on the correspondence of calculations to the specified ranges of values for one of the formulas or all at once.

    For example, it is necessary to find regions with a low class of population density per square kilometer. Map objects (regions) can have the semantics "Population density class" (code - 101, is filled not in all objects) and "Population size" (code - 102, is filled in all objects, measured in thousands) living in a given region. "Population density class" can take values from 1 to 3 (low, medium, high). The low class corresponds to values in the range from 0 to 10. To calculate the population density, it is necessary to divide the population by the area of the territory, taking into account the fact that the area of the region (S) is transmitted in square meters, the population in thousands, the calculation formula will be as follows: "#102 *1000/(S/1000000)" or simplified "#102 *0.001/S".
    For the formulas, add the selection criteria that should set the search for objects either with a low density class, or with a calculated low population density, for which we will form a list of formulas: "#101" with boundary values from 1 to 1 for the population density class; "#102 *0.001/S" with boundary values from 0 to 10. To search by two formulas, select the logical condition "OR" - at least one of formulas should correspond to boundary conditions. Pressing the Select button will highlight all regions with a low population density class. The typed conditions can be saved in templates of search conditions under the specified names and reapplied.

    The dialog for connecting geoportals has been improved (component TMapWMSPopupDialog) - there is added a support for layers from the Rosreestr geoportal: Cadastral districts, Cadastral areas, Cadastral quarters, Land plots, Land plots put up for auction, Red lines, Unified real estate complexes. Geoportal provides data in vector tile form in pbf (Protocolbuffer Binary Format) format. The data contains the coordinates of objects, signatures of sites, semantic characteristics. The parameters of connection to geoportals, stored in the wmslist_ru.xml file, have been updated.

    The dialog "Open data from GIS Server" (TMapGisServer component) has been improved. For users who have the right to view the state of the GIS Server operation in the "Monitoring" tab, the ability to save the log (protocol) of the server operation into a text file for further analysis or sending to the technical support service has been added.

    The GIS ToolKit consists of a set of visual components (supplied in source code) and API functions of the GIS core for direct access to spatial data. The toolkit is intended for the development of client-server and desktop 32-bit and 64-bit applications that require processing and visualization of spatial data. Spatial data can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and in a local network or the Internet (components of access to the GIS Server or data exchange using international protocols are used).

  • 13.04.2021 In "Workstation of urban planner" the tools for creating and analyzing documents of territorial planning have been expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of urban planner" version 13.6.5 has been developed. In the new version, to speed up the procedure for drawing onto schemes of territorial planning and general plans of capital construction objects, tools have been developed for creating and displaying polygons with a point sign in its center. For this purpose in "Classifier Editor" the new property of objects "Polygon with a point" was added. New possibilities are used in the classifier terrplan.v5.rsc at formation of conventional signs of areal objects displaying a contour of a building or a construction. When you map a polygon with a point, for example, a contour of a railway station, in its center a point subobject is automatically created, the coordinates of which are used to display the point sign of the station. To correct the position of a point sign in the "Map Editor" there are tools for changing the location of the polygon center point.

    The mode "Search by cadastral number or address" has been improved, the possibility has been added for a choice of a source of search: on a map or in Rosreestr. When using the search in the Rosreestr, the information found at the specified cadastral number or address is displayed in the "Information from State Real Estate Cadastre" dialog, with moving the map to the location of the found object.

    The task of connecting geoportal has been improved. Support has been added for the updated "Public Cadastral Map" (PCM) service in the form of layers of the Rosreestr geoportal for cadastral districts, cadastral areas and cadastral quarters. The updated geoportal of Rosreestr provides information about the cadastral division in the form of vector tiles of the pbf (Protocolbuffer Binary Format) format, which contain the coordinates and attributes of objects. The program processes the incoming vector tiles on the fly and displays them in the form of a vector map in the conventional symbols of the survey.v5.rscz classifier.

    The list of available layers has been changed, the data has been sorted into three categories: "Public information of Rosreestr", "Additional information" and "Cartographic basis of PCM". The section "Publicly available Rosreestr information", in addition to the cadastral division, includes the layers "Land plots", "Buildings, constructions and objects", "Boundaries", "Zones with special conditions for use of territory", "Territorial zones" and "Zones and territories". The "Additional Information" section includes the layers "Layouts of land plots", "Land plots put up for auction", "Land plots free from the rights of third parties", "Red lines" and "Unified real estate complexes". Wmslist_ru.xml has been updated that contains an up-to-date list of available geoportals and layers provided by them.

    The mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" has been updated. There is implemented a reading the data according to the extract_about_boundaries_v01 XML schema, issued from the Rosreestr in the form of information interaction in the form of an XML document - an extract about the border between the subjects of the Russian Federation, the border of the municipality and the border of the settlement in electronic form. Based on the results of streaming processing of several XML files, linear objects are created on the map that correspond to the type of boundaries and contain the attributes of cadastral accounting objects.

  • 12.04.2021 Maps of the Vladimir and Tver regions on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" have been updated
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared and placed on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" the maps of the Vladimir and Tver regions. The maps were formed using OpenStreetMap data, source data was obtained from Geofabrik website. To work with the maps, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The maps were led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc) and were saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region), a map of the administrative-territorial division of the region and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 09.04.2021 KB "Panorama" received the certificate for GIS Operator SE, which provides formation of maps of operational situation at managing by troops and weapons
    KB "Panorama" received a certificate of conformity for the software product GIS Operator SE SE PARB.00048-02 (version 13), operating under the OS "Astra Linux Special Edition" version 1.6 the release "Smolensk", release "Leningrad" on the platform "Elbrus-8C" and OS "Zarya". The certification was carried out in the system of certification of information security means of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the second level of control over the absence of undeclared capabilities in accordance with the guidance document of the State Technical Commission of Russia and for compliance with the real and declared functional capabilities.
    GIS Operator SE is intended for accumulation, storage, the automated processing and display of data, results of calculations and forecasts having a geospatial binding. GIS is an information element of an automated control system that, using modern computer technologies, provides a visual representation, processing and analysis of heterogeneous data used for information support of decision-making processes.
    GIS Operator SE contains tools for editing the operational situation, various classifiers and libraries of conventional symbols of the operational situation. The program is provided with a built-in database of parameters of national coordinate systems and supports the means of collective work in the network with maps of the terrain and operational situation for the formation of command and staff documents.
    To provide remote access to cartographic data, the GIS Operator SE can be used in conjunction with the GIS Server software product certified in the certification system for information security of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Placing of data on the server provides protection of data from illegal copying and modification.

  • 08.04.2021 "Workstation of cadastral engineer" provides updating of a map with data about boundaries of objects of territorial division from Rosreestr
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 13.6.5 has been developed. In the new version the mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" has been improved. There is implemented a reading the data according to the extract_about_boundaries_v01 XML schema, which is used to generate an XML document - an extract about the boundary between the subjects of the Russian Federation, the boundary of the municipality and the boundary of the settlement in electronic form. Based on the results of streaming reading the XML files, linear objects are created on the map that correspond to the type of boundaries and contain the attributes of objects of the cadastral account. A new algorithm for reading data about elements of the contour of constructions, represented by a set of elements of different types, including a "circle", has been implemented. Based on the results of reading elements of the "circle" type, point objects with the value of the radius in semantics are created on the map; linear objects are created for the elements "point", "line", "arc". The created map objects are combined into a set of objects describing the complex geometry of the construction contour.

    The task of connecting geoporta has been improved. Support has been added for the updated "Public Cadastral Map" service in the form of layers of the Rosreestr geoportal for cadastral districts, cadastral areas and cadastral quarters. The updated geoportal of Rosreestr provides information about the cadastral division in the form of vector tiles of the pbf (Protocolbuffer Binary Format) format, which contain the coordinates and attributes of objects. The program processes the incoming vector tiles on the fly and displays them in the form of a vector map in the conventional symbols of the survey.v5.rscz classifier. At joint display of maps and geoportals, a transformation of vector data to a projection and coordinate system of a geoportal is carried out. In the new version of the program, the transformation of vector maps into a given coordinate system has been accelerated by 4-6 times. The transformation process is called on the fly when the data of maps and geoportals in different coordinate systems are added into one window. When transforming on the fly, a copy of the source map is created in the map subdirectory with a name containing the name of the passport file and the current date.

  • 06.04.2021 GIS "Panorama" processes video and navigation data from video recorders, UAVs and mobile phones
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 13.6.5 has been developed. In the new version the tools have been added for processing of video and navigation data received from a car digital video recorder (DVR), a video camera of an unmanned aerial vehicle or a mobile phone. The task line "Share your photos with the coordinates of the shooting" is supplemented with a new dialogue - "Movement along the video track". This dialog allows you to download and view a video synchronized with a GPS track. When viewing a video, a marker is displayed on the map indicating the position of the camera corresponding to the current frame of the video file. When the mouse pointer approaches a track on the map, an additional window opens with a frame corresponding to the selected track point. Dialog supports video files containing track coordinates in video file subtitles, or in a separate file in GPX, NMEA-0183, KML formats. When loading a video file containing coordinates, a track is automatically added into the map as a linear object with a four-dimensional metric. Each point contains coordinates, date and time when GPS coordinates were recorded. To link an object with a video file, a link to the video file is written into the object. Loading tracks in GPX or NMEA-0183 format is performed using the "Loading tracks from directory" mode. To record a video track on a mobile phone, you can use the VideoGPS application located in the Download section.

    The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. Support for layers from the Rosreestr geoportal has been added: Cadastral okrug, Cadastral districts, Cadastral quarters, Land plots, Land plots put up for auction, Red lines, Unified real estate complexes. Geoportal provides data in vector tile form in pbf (Protocolbuffer Binary Format) format. The data contains the coordinates of objects, signatures of plots, semantic characteristics. The parameters of connection to geoportals, stored in the wmslist_ru.xml file, have been updated.

    The task "Loading of MTD-model from LAS-file" has been improved. The task loads MTD models from LAS files obtained using LIDAR laser locators. Data of LAS-files can contain results of sounding the earth or sea surface, atmosphere. The MTD model contains point measurements sorted block-by-block, which provides quick access to data for solving computational and analytical problems. The new method of block filling the MTD model reduces the loading time of LAS files larger than 8 GB by 3-5 times. Loading of control LAS file with number of points of 555 million in volume of 14.4 Gbytes is executed for 16 minutes.

    When searching and selecting objects on the map, the ability to group mathematical formulas for a combination of mathematical expressions and logical conditions has been added. For example, in the presence of semantics with the amount of saltpeter in tons applied to a given area, and semantics with the class of soil fertility, it is necessary to select areas where the amount of nitrogen per hectare is optimal. Let semantics 123 contain the amount of saltpeter applied to the area in tons, and semantics 345 contain the soil fertility class (from 1 to 6). Since the area of the plot (S) is calculated in square meters, and ammonium nitrate contains 34.5% of nitrogen, the formula for calculating the specific dose of nitrogen will look like: "#123*1000*0.345/ (S/10000)" or simplified "#123*3450000/S". For the first class of fertility, we set the first group of formulas: "#345" with boundary values 1 and 1 and "#123*3450000/S" with boundary values 40 and 50, for the second class the boundary values of the first formula are 2 and 2, the second 45 and 55 and so on. Within the group, select the logical "AND" condition - both formulas must meet the boundary conditions. We select the logical "OR" condition between the groups - although in one group the conditions must be fulfilled during the calculation. When you press the button, all areas where the nitrogen dose is optimal will be highlighted. The typed conditions can be saved in templates of search conditions under the specified names and applied as necessary.

    In the "Geodesy editor" task, the modes of generating reports for preparing graphical applications for the forest declaration approved by order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation dated July 30, 2020 N 539 were updated. Report templates for the forest declaration were updated, processing of new markers was added and the digital classifier of map forestry.v2 was improved, used to prepare maps of graphics application for forest declaration.

    The modes "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" and "Create objects from XML file of the cadastre", which are part of the task "Cadastral documents", have been improved. The algorithm for reading data about the elements of the structures contour has been improved. If the contour of capital construction object (CCO) is represented by a set of elements of different types (point, line, arc, circle), then a set of objects of different localization (linear and point) is created on the map. For elements with the "circle" type, point objects are created that contain the radius value in the semantics. For elements "point", "line", "arch" the linear objects are created. As a result of loading, one CCO can be represented on the map by several objects of different localization with the same value of the "Cadastre number" semantics.

  • 01.04.2021 "Complex of 3D analysis" automates processes of creating objects of a relief for topographic maps
    In KB "Panorama" the "Complex of 3D analysis" version 6.0.4 for the GIS "Panorama" has been developed. In the new version of the program the mode "Creating contours for cliffs and rocks" has been implemented. It allows you to create polygonal objects for terrain areas where the slopes of the relief exceed the values specified by the operator.
    The contouring of and rocks is performed in an automatic mode. At the first stage by a matrix of heights of a relief the matrix of qualities is constructed containing two classes of values. The first class contains cells related to cliffs or rocks, and the second contains cells with normal terrain, displayed on the map by contours. Further the matrix of qualities is used for an automatic vectoring the borders of areas which are belonging to the class of cliffs and rocks. Mode "Creating contours for cliffs and rocks" provides accurate definition of the boundaries of polygonal objects, including those that cannot be determined using visual interpretation. Additional parametres of constructing allow to save a matrix of qualities and to filter out cliffs and rocks of the small area. The complex application of the modes "Formation of H coordinate of hydrographic objects", "Creation of horozontals by matrix of elevations", "Contouring of cliffs and rocks" and "Adjustment of isolines and linear hydrography objects" provides a high level of automation of the processes of creating information about the relief for topographic maps.

    The software package is designed to solve a wide range of tasks for the creation and analysis of matrix data models, including the construction and processing of information about the terrain. The main source of data for modeling the terrain is the Earth's remote sensing materials. The complex technology of joint application of digital photogrammetric system PHOTOMOD and the GIS "Panorama" provides creation of the information about the terrain in the required volume and specified accuracy. As a result of photogrammetric processing of space and aerial photographs, clouds of three-dimensional points, triangulation models, elevation matrixes and orthophotomaps are obtained. To clarify the relief forms, vectorization of structural lines is performed in stereo mode.

    Map editor in the GIS "Panorama" is intended for digitizing terrain objects from the orthophotomap image, and the 3D Analysis Complex provides a comprehensive development of various terrain models, including for three-dimensional visualization. The editor of a map in a GIS "Panorama" is intended for numbering of objects of district under the orthophotomap image, and the Complex 3D the analysis provides complex working off of various models of a relief, including for three-dimensional visualisation. At the same time, routine operations for digitizing contours and microforms of relief are performed automatically in streaming mode.

  • 31.03.2021 In GIS Panorama Mini the formats of used data for solving problems of territorial planning and management have been expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Panorama Mini version 13.6.4 has been developed. In the new version, loading of the pyramid of raster tiles from KMZ files has been added. KMZ archive can contain a KML file and a set of raster files. The KML file contains a description of parameters of the raster data - the names and coordinates of a binding of rasters, and also the priority of their drawing. As a result of importing a pyramid of raster tiles from KMZ, a set of RSW files is formed combined into an MPT project. The MPT project contains a list of RSW files and their visibility borders according to the "Draw Order" parameter. Loading a pyramid of raster tiles from KMZ files is implemented in the task of importing graphic files (GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG and others).

    In the task of of importing matrixes from SRTM, GeoTIFF formats, loading of the pyramid of matrixes of heights of a relief from KMZ format has been added. The KMZ archive contains a KML file and a set of single-channel GeoTIFF files with data on elevation heights, from which a set of MTW files is formed combined into an MPT project with specified matrix visibility borders in accordance with the "Draw Order" parameter.

    Possibility has been implemented for displaying a packed project of spatial data MPTZ from the GIS Server of version 9.4 and higher. A packaged project may include a complex representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, images of the terrain in RSW format, matrixes of heights and matrixes of quality characteristics of the terrain, insets from the same data, the reference to data from the GIS Server and from geoportals by various protocols. All data sets are packed into one file of MPTZ format. The total amount of packed data is reduced by 3-10 times. The speed of data exchange, packed into an MPTZ project, increases 5-20 times, taking into account the decrease in the number of transferred files. The size of the MPTZ file and the number of sets in the project are not limited. Maps are packed together with classifiers, a tree of distribution of objects over the map area, multiscale objects (generalized contours for different display scales) and hash tables indexed for search of objects semantics, pyramids of tiles, rasters and matrixes, which provides high speed of display and data search. The virtual folder on the GIS Server can be supplemented/updated by MPTZ projects in a background mode, changing the area and detail of the background cartographic coverage and the composition of remote sensing data without additional data administration. Packaged MPTZ projects can be formed by region (as, for example, on Digital maps page) or according to nomenclature sheets (for example, at a scale of 1: 500 000), which allows you to quickly form a complex coverage of a given territory.

    The list of supported DBMS for work with spatial databases has been expanded: PostgreSQL with the PostGIS extension, Oracle with the Oracle Spatial or ArcSDE extension, Microsoft SQL Server. Parameters of connection to a database are customized in the administration dialog and saved in a file with the DBM extension, which has an XML structure. The settings provide for the choice of the method of connecting to the database, the creation of lists of displayed and edited objects and their semantic characteristics (attributes). GIS provides direct displaying and editing of arbitrary spatial databases in cartographic conventional symbols, including those created by other GIS, without additional third-party modules based on direct interaction with PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server DBMS through SQL queries.

    The search speed of objects with given semantic characteristics is increased by an average of 1000 times due to the indexing of semantics values using polynomial hashing methods, constructing values reference books and other improvements of search algorithms. On a test case of 4 000 000 objects, a search was performed using three indexed semantics: "Name", "Number of inhabitants", "Unique object identifier", which were filled in for more than 3 350 000 objects. The speed of performing sample of objects has decreased from 4 seconds to 4-5 milliseconds. The additional amount of RAM for placing the hash tables was 95 MB, the size of the source map was 802 MB. To activate the construction of hash tables, it is necessary to enable the "Index" option in the Classifier Editor for the semantics used when searching for objects. To reduce the time for building hash tables, they are saved into a file with the ".seh" extension and read when the map opening. When saving a map into the packed SITZ\MAPZ\MPTZ format, hash tables are packed in a common archive with the map. The new algorithm makes it possible to execute more requests on search from application tasks in multithreaded mode and improve the performance of server applications.

    In the "Classifier Editor", the list of mathematical operations for describing the semantics-formula has been expanded. The value of such semantics is automatically calculated when updating the coordinates or semantics of the object and can participate in the formation of the conventional symbol of the object through a series of objects (a matrix of conventional symbols, depending on the combination of the semantics values) or based on programmable symbols.
    For displaying polygons with a point symbol, a new object property has been added - "Polygon with a point". For objects with this property, when creating and editing an object, or when sorting, a subobject with one point in the center of the polygon is automatically created. If a conventional symbol of polygon contains polygon parameters and parameters of a point or vector symbol, the corresponding symbol will be displayed in the center of the polygon. The user can change the position of the point in the "Map Editor".

  • 29.03.2021 Modern geoinformation technologies of KB "Panorama" have been presented at the military-scientific conference in "Patriot" park
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" took part in the work of the military-scientific conference "Creation of a unified geoinformation space for ensuring the defense and security of the Russian Federation." The conference, organized by the Military Topographic Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, was attended by representatives of military command and control bodies, heads and specialists of Russian industry companies, representatives of military scientific organizations and universities.
    The report "Application of "Panorama" technologies for constructing a single geoinformation space for defense of the Russian Federation" presents software products that ensure the construction of a distributed information system, in a complex using spatial data from various sources of information. The presentation shows the elements of realisation of the implemented information systems for managing the development of territories at the level of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Panorama software technologies are designed to solve a wide range of tasks based on client-server, cloud, mobile and Internet technologies. For more information, see the article.

    KB "Panorama" received a certificate of conformity for the GIS Server software product operating in the MS Windows operating system. GIS Server provides remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, matrices, documents and spatial databases of users of the "Panorama" programs. These include software products certified in the information security system of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator" for power structures (GIS Operator SE) and GIS WebService SE. Placing data on the GIS Server provides data protection from illegal copying and modification.

    The software package supports a working with spatial databases controlled by PostgreSQL and Oracle DBMS, providing access to spatial data in accordance with the OGC 06-103r4 standard: "OpenGISВ® Implementation Standard for Geographic information - Simple feature access - Part 1: Common architecture".

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" has been developed for the operating system "Astra Linux Special Edition", release "Leningrad" on the platform "Elbrus" with the microprocessor "Elbrus-8C".
    GIS "Panorama" provides users with tools for accumulation, storage, automated processing and display of data, calculation results and forecasts having a geospatial reference. The system allows you to create vector, raster and matrix maps, and also promptly update various information about the area. The program contains tools for creating and editing digital maps, performing various measurements and calculations, overlay operations, building 3D models, processing raster data, building a road graph, thematic mapping, tools for preparing graphic documents in digital and printed form, as well as tools for working with databases.

    The new version contains a professional digital map editor, which includes a large number of modes. For the convenience of users, the modes are combined into groups: creating objects (basic modes of creating, copying and duplicating), auto shapes (additional modes for creating objects with complex contours: embankments, flyovers, stairs, quarters, bergstrich), graphic objects (additional modes for creating objects in the form simple lines, polygons and labels), topology (modes of matching sections of neighboring objects and their individual points) and many others.     In the new version, the transformation of vector maps into the specified coordinate system is accelerated by 4-6 times. When adding a map with transformation, a copy of the original map is created in the map subdirectory with a name containing the name of the passport file and the current date. Additionally, the opening and first display of maps has been accelerated due to the formation of a "*.sol" file with a tree of territorial distribution of objects onto each map sheet. When the map is opened, the objects tree is read and the first display is accelerated by 5-15 times (for a map with 2 million objects, the opening and first display is accelerated from 9-12 seconds to 1 second). In the absence of "*.sol" file an automatic constructing a tree and file saving is carried out.

    Classifiers of digital topographic maps of scales : 25 000, 1: 50 000, 1: 100 000, 1: 200 000, 1: 500 000, 1: 1 000 000 have been updated. There were specified the parameters of scaling of conventional symbols of linear and areal objects with filling signs and contours of various thicknesses for layers of hydrography, land relief, road network and road structures, vegetation, soils and lava covers, industrial and social objects, borders, fences, certain natural phenomena and territories. The updated classifiers provide support for multiscale topographic maps, along with automatic generalization of contours for different scales, setting the ranges of objects visibility.

    The user interface and functionality of the task of constructing a mathematical base have been expanded. In the new version, when processing a multisheet map, the user can select from the list and process only the required set of sheets. The projection parameters of sheets located in different zones are automatically converted to the projection parameters of the first sheet during the process of construction. The task implements a separate detailed setting the parameters of rectangular and cartographic grids. To speed up working the task on maps with a large number of sheets, it is possible to disable transaction logging.

    When importing a set of maps sheets of SXF and TXF format, specified by the list in the DIR file, the ability has been added for transfer of sheets by longitude on +/-360 degrees. It allows to duplicate the columns of sheets in the western and\or eastern hemisphere for expansion of dimensions of work region up to -360/+360 degrees. To duplicate sheets, copy the required file with a different name (for example, rename 01-12.sxf to 01-12_west.sxf) and change its nomenclature so that all sheets in the region have a unique designation (for example, rename 01-12 to 01-12_west ). Then, in a text editor, add a line with a new name sxf or txf into the DIR file and press the tab after the file name and enter the direction of transfer (for example, -360 or +360). The recalculation of coordinates and sheet passport will be performed automatically when importing the work region by the DIR file.

    The geographic information system is built on a multi-platform multi-threaded kernel for Linux, QNX, Android, MS Windows with support for Intel/AMD, Elbrus, ARM, PowerPC, SPARC, MIPS and others processors. To improve the reliability of the software, numerous automated functional tests have been developed, the code has been optimized using the text analyzers and a performance evaluation on a multicore architecture.

    Processors based on the Elbrus architecture, developed by MCST company, are the leading domestic solution for the military-industrial complex and the public sector. Microprocessors "Elbrus-8C" (1891VM10Ya) are high-performance general-purpose processors with improved architecture "Elbrus", which allows performing up to 25 operations per cycle in each core - 250 billion floating point operations per second. The presence of 4 channels of access to memory and 3 channels of interprocessor exchange allows building scalable computing systems that provide a high speed of information processing and transmission.

  • 25.03.2021 GIS "Operator" provides use of the geospatial data of various types for formation of maps and schemes of operational situation
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 13.6.4 has been developed. In the new version of the program the list of supported DBMS for work with spatial databases has been expanded: PostgreSQL with the PostGIS extension, Oracle with the Oracle Spatial or ArcSDE extension, Microsoft SQL Server. Parameters of connection to a database are customized in the administration dialog and saved in a file with the DBM extension, which has an XML structure. The settings provide for the choice of the method of connecting to the database, the creation of lists of displayed and edited objects and their semantic characteristics (attributes). GIS provides direct displaying and editing of arbitrary spatial databases in cartographic conventional symbols, including those created by other GIS, without additional third-party modules based on direct interaction with PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server DBMS through SQL queries.

    Possibility has been added for displaying a packed project of spatial data MPTZ from the GIS Server of version 9.4 and higher. A packaged project may include a complex representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, images of the terrain in RSW format, matrixes of heights and matrixes of quality characteristics of the terrain, insets from the same data, the reference to data from the GIS Server and from geoportals by various protocols. All data sets are packed into one file of MPTZ format. The total amount of packed data is reduced by 3-10 times. The speed of data exchange, packed into an MPTZ project, increases 5-20 times, taking into account the decrease in the number of transferred files. Packaged MPTZ projects can be formed by region (as, for example, on Digital maps page) or according to nomenclature sheets (for example, at a scale of 1: 500 000), which allows you to quickly form a complex coverage of a given territory.

    In the task of importing graphic files (GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG and others), a loading the pyramid of raster tiles from the KMZ format has been added. A KMZ archive can contain a KML file and a set of raster files. The KML file contains a description of parameters of the raster data - the names and coordinates of a binding of rasters, and also the priority of their rendering. As a result of importing a pyramid of raster tiles from KMZ, a set of RSW files is formed combined into an MPT project. The MPT project contains a list of RSW files and their visibility borders according to the "Draw Order" parameter.
    In the task of importing matrixes from SRTM, GeoTIFF formats, loading of the pyramid of matrixes of heights of a relief from the KMZ format has been added. The KMZ archive contains a KML file and a set of single-channel GeoTIFF files with data on elevation heights, from which a set of MTW files is formed combined into an MPT project with specified matrix visibility borders in accordance with the "Draw Order" parameter.
    When importing GeoTIFF files, analysis of GeogCitationGeoKey and PCSCitationGeoKey tags has been added to support GSK-2011 and PZ-90.11 coordinate systems. Tag GeogCitationGeoKey can contain records of the type: "PZ-90.11 Zone 6" or "GSK-2011 Zone 7". The contents of the GeogCitationGeoKey and PCSCitationGeoKey tags supplement the numeric coordinate system parameters specified by other tags.

    The mode "Calculations on semantics of selected objects" in the "Map Editor" task has been improved. The time for calculating and filling the semantics of objects according to a mathematical formula specified by the user has been reduced by 7 times. More complex mathematical expressions are supported, including various mathematical operations on the values of the semantics of an object and its measuring properties.

    There is expanded the use of mathematical expressions (formulas), including various mathematical operations on the values of the object semantics and its measuring properties when searching, editing objects, forming the view of conventional symbols of map objects and in other tasks. A bookmark for entering a list of mathematical formulas and a range of values that the calculation result must correspond to has been added into the "Object Search" dialog. When searching for objects, you can set the selection of objects according to the correspondence of calculations to the specified ranges of values for one of the formulas or all at once.
    There are supported the math operations ABS, ARM, SIN, COS, TG, CTG, MIN, MAX, POW2, POW3, SQRT2, SQRT3, LOG, LOG10 and others. Area, perimeter, coordinates of the first point, coordinates of the center of the contour, unique number and other properties of the object can be used in calculations.

    The search speed of objects with given semantic characteristics is increased by an average of 1000 times due to the indexing of semantics values using polynomial hashing methods, constructing values reference books and other improvements of search algorithms. On a test case of 4 000 000 objects, a search was performed using three indexed semantics: "Name", "Number of inhabitants", "Unique object identifier", which were filled in for more than 3 350 000 objects. The speed of performing sample of objects has decreased from 4 seconds to 4-5 milliseconds. The additional amount of RAM for placing the hash tables was 95 MB, the size of the source map was 802 MB. To activate the construction of hash tables, it is necessary to enable the "Index" option in the Classifier Editor for the semantics used when searching for objects. To reduce the time for building hash tables, they are saved into a file with the ".seh" extension and read when the map opening. When saving a map into the packed SITZ\MAPZ\MPTZ format, hash tables are packed in a common archive with the map. The new algorithm makes it possible to execute more requests on search from application tasks in multithreaded mode and improve the performance of server applications..

    In the "Classifier Editor", the list of mathematical operations for describing the semantics-formula has been expanded. The value of such semantics is automatically calculated when updating the coordinates or semantics of the object and can participate in the formation of the conventional symbol of the object through a series of objects (a matrix of conventional symbols, depending on the combination of the semantics values) or based on programmable symbols.

    For displaying polygons with a point symbol, a new object property has been added - "Polygon with a point". For objects with this property, when creating and editing an object, or when sorting, a subobject with one point in the center of the polygon is automatically created. If a conventional symbol of polygon contains polygon parameters and parameters of a point or vector symbol, the corresponding symbol will be displayed in the center of the polygon. The user can change the position of the point in the "Map Editor".

  • 24.03.2021 Maps of the Leningrad and Kostroma regions on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" have been updated
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared and placed on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data" the maps of the Leningrad and Kostroma regions. The maps were formed using OpenStreetMap data, source data was obtained from Geofabrik website. To work with the maps, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The maps were led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc) and were saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region), a map of the administrative-territorial division of the region and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 23.03.2021 Specialists of KB "Panorama" made a presentation at the I All-Russian scientific and technical conference "Geoinformation platforms for military purpose"
    On March, 17th, 2021, the I All-Russia scientific and technical conference "Geoinformation platforms for military purpose" was held in a remote format. Within the framework of this event, specialists of KB "Panorama" made the report "Geoinformation system of military purpose for planning and decision-making".

    The report considered the issues of organizing collective work with terrain maps and the operational situation for planning and controlling troops and weapons in the GIS "Operator", creations of small-scale topographic maps using spatial data bases by means of the GIS "Panorama", creations of realistic three-dimensional terrain models, as well as issues of interagency interaction. The technologies for the formation of global coverage of digital maps and remote sensing data of the earth by means of the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data were shown, as well as issues of operational automated creation and updating of digital topographic maps (DTM) and special maps based on national cartographic materials in various international coordinate systems have been considered. The software products of KB "Panorama" demonstrated in the report operate under the control of the domestic operating system Astra Linux SE.

    The purpose of the conference was the exchange of information about new scientific and technical developments, uniting of leading scientific schools, search for partners for cooperation in the following areas: creation of a unified complex of astronomical and geodetic, navigation and geoinformation support for determining the initial geodetic data; research of the requirements for geoinformation support of actions of ground-based robotic systems for military purposes and ways of building a mobile geoinformation platform for their implementation; research of ways of improving the geoinformation systems and military platforms. The conference is organized by the ERA Military Innovative Technopolis.

  • 22.03.2021 "Workstation of cadastral engineer" provides building a survey profile of a route for projected road
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 13.6.4 has been developed. In the new version the new mode "Building a road profile" has been developed, included into the group of modes "Creation diagrams and drawings". The mode is intended for automatic building the longitudinal profile of the projected route of a motor or railroad according to the line object indicated on the map. The formed drawing contains two lines of a vertical profile, along the existing surface of a relief and a design line built by interpolation methods. The design line of the route profile contains extended linear sections with a selection of relief slopes that are optimal for their overcoming by transport. The profile also displays a plan of the route (a map image in a strip of a given width along the route), design elements and help information.

    To analyze the project line of the road, information about bridge crossings and tunnels is collected along the route. The received information is displayed on the profile in the form of special conventional symbols. The prepared drawing can be saved as a separate map or as graphic documents with division into pages of a given size in JPG, PNG, TIF format or as a multi-page PDF document.

    To perform computational and analytical tasks, the use of expressions describing formulas and mathematical operations on the values of object attributes has been expanded. The calculations use semantics and metric characteristics: area, perimeter, coordinates of the first point, coordinates of the center of the contour, object number and others. The "Object Search" dialog has been improved for entering mathematical formulas and the values to which the calculation result must correspond. In the "Classifier Editor" the list of mathematical operations for describing the semantics-formula used for updating the coordinates of an object or its conventional sign has been expanded.

    The mode "Search by cadastral number or address" has been improved, the possibility has been added for a choice of a source of search: on a map or in Rosreestr. When using the search in the Rosreestr, the information found at the specified cadastral number or address is displayed in the "Information from State Real Estate Cadastre" dialog, with moving the map to the location of the found object.

    The digital classifier of the forestry.v2 map has been improved, which is used to create annexes to the forest declaration, approved by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Russia) of July, 30th, 2020 N 539. To generate graphical annexes to the forestry declaration, new report templates have been developed and the processing of new markers has been added. The #Area_ga# marker provides the output into the report of the area of the object in hectares, and the #STR3BL# marker outputs the geodetic coordinates of the characteristic points of the boundaries into the report.

For example, if there is semantics with the amount of saltpeter in tons applied to a given area, it is necessary to select areas where from 40 to 50 kg of nitrogen is applied per hectare. Let the semantics 123 contain the amount of saltpeter applied to the plot in tons. Since the area of the plot (S) is calculated in square meters, and ammonium nitrate contains 34.5% of nitrogen, the formula will look like: "#123*1000*0.345/(S/10000)" or simplified "#123*3450000/S". The limit values must be set to 40 and 50. For reverse sampling of areas where the fertilizer dose is less than 40 or more than 50, you need to change the limit values in places. If you have an access key to the Yandex.Maps API geocoder, the map is moved to the center of the found object. The tools have been implemented for the formation of graphic applications to the forest declaration, approved by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Russia) of July, 30th, 2020 N 539. "To print the summary report on the allocated objects" mode provides the formation of attachments 1 and 2 to the forest declaration, and the "To print the LAND-SURVEYING on semantics of object" mode of attachments 3 and 4 to the forest declaration. To generate reports, new report templates have been developed, located in the Geodesy.dot folder. There is added a processing of the #Area_ga# marker for displaying the area of the object in hectares in the report and the #STR3BL# marker for displaying the geodetic coordinates of the characteristic points of the object boundaries in the report.

    The forestry.v2.rscz digital map classifier has been improved, which is used to prepare a digital map containing the information necessary for filling out a forest declaration. There is implemented a reading and saving a ZIP-package of a document, including an XML file with its details and attached PDF files, without using an external archiver.

    A new mode "Building a road profile" has been developed, included into the group of modes "Creation diagrams and drawings". The mode is intended for automatic building the longitudinal profile of the projected route of a motor or railroad according to the line object indicated on the map. The generated drawing contains the profile line of the existing relief surface, the design line of the route profile containing extended linear sections with the selection of optimal slopes, the route plan (a map image in a strip of a given width along the route), design elements and help information.
    Along the route line a gathering of data on bridges transitions and tunnels is carried out. The received information is displayed on the profile in the form of special symbols.   • 18.03.2021 lectures on building a cloud geoinformation system have been published
    KB "Panorama" has developed a training program for the course "Geoportals and distributed (Cloud) GIS Technologies", which includes a series of lectures and practical exercises. Students of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK) of the Faculty "Applied cosmonautics and photogrammetry" became the first listeners of the program. The course is included in the master's program of the Department of "Computing and the automated processing of aerospace information". Classes are conducted by specialists of KB "Panorama" with many years of experience in the industry.

    Students are told in an accessible form about current knowledge in the field of distributed geoinformation systems: from their general characteristics to specific software and its real application. The lecture material is prepared in the form of presentations, the lectures itself are recorded on video. As the course progresses, materials will be published in the KB Panorama knowledge base. Lectures on the following topics are already available for viewing and downloading: "General characteristic of geoportals and distributed GIS-technologies", "Data organization in distributed geoinformation systems", "Architecture of distributed GIS".

    KB "Panorama" and MIIGAiK are long-standing strategic partners. Joint activities are aimed at popularizing domestic cartographic and geodetic education and software for geoinformation systems. So on April, 12th, at the "Student science week 2021", the team competition for the practical application of professional skills "GEOSKILLS Cartography 2021" will take place. MIIGAiK together with KB "Panorama" invites students who want to apply their knowledge in this area in practice.   • 17.03.2021 GIS WebService SE expands the possibilities of search of spatial objects on the basis of the international standard OGC Filter Encoding 2.0
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.9.2 has been developed. In the new version the filter has been added for selecting spatial objects by semantics on the basis of the international standard OGC Filter Encoding 2.0 Encoding Standard 09-026r1 and ISO/DIS 19143. The filter is passed through a complex XML-RPC request. The filter allows you to compose group operations for searching for objects. For example, to find objects that have "Name" = "Oryol" or "Moscow", and the population is more than 10 million, but less than 30 million inhabitants. The new filter was added for selection of objects by measurements (area, perimeter, height, length). This filter can be applied in all requests that result in an xml/gml or geoJSON file, for example, to find objects with an area of less than 100 m2, but more than 20 m2. Use of the international standards expands possibilities of applications (GIS WebServer SE, Databank of DM and RSE and others) for search and selection of data.
    For GetBound request, an output of preferable formats depending on data type has been added. This will allow the GIS WebServer SE administrator to correctly set the data format (PNG or PNG8). A new request has been added that allows to form the user layers using a GEOJSON file.
    Support for working with three types of DBMS directly PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server has been implemented. The service administrator has been improved. There is added the ability to disable analytics of the service in order to save server resources. A button has been added to the service panel to clear the layer cache.
    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), which are used to transfer and display spatial data. In the program the possibility has been implemented for issuing tiles by any user or local coordinate system. The application has been implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 15.03.2021 A training video lesson on calculating parameters of local coordinate systems (LCS) has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a video lesson of calculating the parameters of the projection of the local coordinate system by a set of points. Users of the Workstation of "Cadastral engineer" or the GIS "Panorama" can independently calculate the parameters of the transition from the local coordinate system to the state one by a set of point coordinates.

    The parameters of the transition between the local coordinate system and state coordinate systems, catalogs of coordinates of geodetic points in the local coordinate system are permanently stored in the federal fund of spatial data and are provided to interested parties in the order prescribed by part 7 of article 10 of the Federal Law of December, 30th, 2015 N 431-FZ "About geodesy, cartography and spatial data". If it is not possible to obtain the transition keys, you can calculate the approximate parameters using the task "Calculation of projection parameters of local coordinate system".

    The training material demonstrates the features of the task "Calculation of projection parameters of local coordinate system". The initial data for calculations are the coordinates of points in the local (X, Y) and geodetic coordinate system (latitude, longitude). Geodetic coordinates can be loaded from the catalog of coordinates or calculated from coordinates in the state (CS42, CS63, CS95) or local coordinate system with known parameters. The task calculates the longitude of the axial meridian, the latitude of the main point, the scale on the axial meridian, the offsets of the coordinates along the X and Y axes, the angle of rotation of the axes. The results of calculations can be saved to an XML file for later use when creating electronic maps.

When adding a map with transformation, a copy of the source map is created in the map subdirectory with a name containing the name of the passport file and the current date. Additionally, the opening and first display of maps has been accelerated due to the formation of a "*.sol" file with a tree of territorial distribution of objects onto each map sheet. When the map is opened, the objects tree is read and the first display is accelerated by 5-15 times (for a map with 2 million objects, the opening and first display is accelerated from 9-12 seconds to 1 second). When sorting a map in SITZ\MAPZ format or saving an MPTZ project, the tree of objects is saved in a packed data file with further acceleration of the first opening of a map. In the absence of the "*.sol" file the automatic constructing a tree and file saving are carried out.

The virtual folder on the GIS Server can be supplemented/updated by MPTZ projects in a background mode, changing the area and detail of the background cartographic coverage and the composition of remote sensing data without additional data administration. Packaged MPTZ projects can be formed by region (as, for example, on Digital maps page) or according to nomenclature sheets (for example, at a scale of 1: 500 000), which allows you to quickly form a complex coverage of a given territory.

    The classifier of objects of the operational situation operator.rsc has been updated. There is specified the type of conventional signs such as command posts, communication facilities, engineering equipment, units of permanent readiness and many others contained in the layers: "Actions of ground forces. Strikes, fires of missile-artillery means", "Engineering troops", "FSB bodies", "MIA of the RF","GIBDD of MIA of the RF", "Ministry of Transport of the RF", "Electronic Warfare troops", "Signal troops", "Road Bodies of the RF", "Space troops", "Mobilization deployment", "Moral and psychological support of troops", "EMERCOM and Civil defense", "Operational objects of general use", "Border agencies. Management", "Enemy - position, actions", "Strategic missile forces", "Formations and military units of technical troops", "Topogeodetic support of troops" and others.

    Classifiers of digital topographic maps of scales : 25 000, 1: 50 000, 1: 100 000, 1: 200 000, 1: 500 000, 1: 1 000 000 have been updated. There were specified the parameters of scaling of conventional symbols of linear and areal objects with filling signs and contours of various thicknesses for layers of hydrography, land relief, road network and road structures, vegetation, soils and lava covers, industrial and social objects, borders, fences, certain natural phenomena and territories. The updated classifiers provide support for multiscale topographic maps, along with automatic generalization of contours for different scales, setting the ranges of objects visibility.

    The emercom.v2.rscz classifier has been updated, designed to create electronic maps of emergency situations. For accounting objects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergencies, and highlighting these objects with special conventional symbols, the following objects have been added: Label of an object under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergencies, Label of an object under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergencies (simplified), Building under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergencies.
    The classifier of aeronautical maps dfc.rscz has been updated. There are clarified the conventional symbols of objects, the width of which depends on the length of the signature in the symbol: 5100300 Signature of landing course, 4000600 Signature of control area (CTA) without transition altitude, 4000800 Signature of Flight Information Sector (FIS), 4000200 Signature of Flight Information Region (FIR), 4000200 Signature of the control area (CTA), 4000200 Signature of the Aerodrome Flight Information Zone (AFIZ), 4000200 Signature of the restricted zone of P-zone, 4000200 Signature of the danger zone of the D-zone, 4000200 Signature of the R-zone flight restriction zone, 4000200 Signature of TSA Temporary Reserved Airspace, 2001200 Signature of terminal turning point, 2001200 Signature of waypoint RNAV, 2000510 Signature of ILS. When you change the text of the signature selected in the sign, the width of the sign will be automatically changed so that the text remains within the frame.
    The user interface and functionality of the task of constructing a mathematical base have been expanded. In the new version, when processing a multisheet map, the user can select from the list and process only the required set of sheets. The projection parameters of sheets located in different zones are automatically converted to the projection parameters of the first sheet during the process of construction. The task implements a separate detailed setting the parameters of rectangular and cartographic grids. To speed up working the task on maps with a large number of sheets, it is possible to disable transaction logging.

    When saving and opening the projects of maps in MPT\MPTZ format, the currently specified contents of display for each project map is taken into account. Into a project file the records of XML format in the form of sections with the name [#xml#vclxNNN] have been added. It allows to form from one set of maps the projects of different composition of layers, scale, color design for use in the form of inserts in various reports and other tasks.

    When importing a set of maps sheets of SXF and TXF format, specified by the list in the DIR file, the ability has been added for transfer of sheets by longitude on +/-360 degrees. It allows to duplicate the columns of sheets in the western and\or eastern hemisphere for expansion of dimensions of work region up to -360/+360 degrees. To duplicate sheets, copy the required file with a different name (for example, rename 01-12.sxf to 01-12_west.sxf) and change its nomenclature so that all sheets in the region have a unique designation (for example, rename 01-12 to 01-12_west ). Then, in a text editor, add a line with a new name sxf or txf into the DIR file and press the tab after the file name and enter the direction of transfer (for example, -360 or +360). The recalculation of coordinates and sheet passport will be performed automatically when importing the work region by the DIR file.

    GIS "Operator" SE is a universal domestic geographic information system for power structures. The program is intended for accumulation, the storage, the automated processing and displaying the data, results of calculations and the forecasts having a geospatial binding. GIS "Operator" contains tools for displaying and processing vector, raster and matrix maps. The application provides users with tools for solving specialized tasks of modeling the movement of special objects against the background of 3D model, a forecasting the consequences of emergencies on hazardous objects, a monitoring the movement of aircraft, a performing the geodetic and topographic work, processing data from GPS/GLONASS navigation devices, a printing the displayed spatial data to various output devices and many others.

  • 05.03.2021 "Workstation of Geologist" supports matrix algebra in engineering calculations
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of Geologist" version 13.6.3 has been developed. In the new version of the program the "Matrix calculator" has been updated, that provides execution of engineering calculations with using the methods of matrix algebra. Calculations can use simultaneously matrixes of qualities and matrixes of heights. Results of calculations will be presented in the form of a new matrix of qualities.
    The matrix calculator supports not only computational operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication), but also logical operations for comparing elements of matrixes of heights of a relief and quality characteristics of the terrain. Many problems solved using matrix algebra are reduced to finding areas in which the values from the matrix must meet a given condition. The matrix calculator allows you to build expressions to form a request of engineering calculation with a combination of calculation and comparison methods. For example, on the basis of a matrix of heights and a matrix of quality containing values of level of water rising, it is possible to build a matrix of depths.
    The matrix calculator allows you to perform geological, hydrological and mine surveying calculations to obtain estimated matrixes containing binary values - whether it meets or does not meet the expression conditions. The matrixes of the estimated coefficients are further used for contouring the areas corresponding to the given calculation conditions. For example, the expression: Con("1.podolsk.mtw" > 160; "1.podolsk.mtw"; setNull), allows you to solve the problem of finding areas in which the value of the matrix of heights podolsk.mtw is greater than 160.

    In the new version of the program, due to the use of multithreaded processing on a multicore processor, the import of rasters and matrixes from the GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG, SRTM, IMG formats into the internal formats of the "Panorama" geoinformation platform has been significantly accelerated. For users who have the right to view the state of the GIS Server operation, in the "Monitoring" bookmark, there is added the ability to save the log (protocol) of the server operation into a text file for further analysis or sending to the technical support service.

  • 03.03.2021 New edition of the digital classifier for creating schemes of territorial planning of the Russian Federation (terrplan.v5.rscz) has been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have updated the digital classifier of schemes of territorial planning terrplan.v5.rscz. The classifier is intended for the preparation of the graphic part of territorial planning documents, in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated 01/09/2018 в„– 10 "On approval of the Requirements for the description and display in the documents of territorial planning of objects of federal significance, objects of regional significance, objects of local significance and on recognizing as invalid the order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia dated December 7, 2016 в„–793 ".
    In accordance with the section of the order "Principles for the formation of cartographic conventional symbols of objects" a large number of objects with a polygon localization as a symbol have the value "not displayed" or do not have an indication about the view of conventional symbol. This causes large-scale schemes to be displayed with empty areas that actually contain various objects. To improve the clarity of the schemes with the preservation of the number of objects contained in the scheme, the symbol of the polygon includes an image of a point symbol with the same code as that of the polygon.
    In the classifier terrplan.v5.rscz for ranges new property - "Polygon with a point" is added. The user can change the position of the point in the "Map Editor". At changing the characteristics of object "Object status" and "Object value", the view of the sign in the center of the polygon and the contour of the object change accordingly.
    For objects with this property, when creating and editing an object, or when sorting, a subobject with one point in the center of the polygon is automatically created. If a conventional symbol of polygon contains polygon parameters and parameters of a point or vector symbol, the corresponding symbol will be displayed in the center of the polygon. The user can change the position of the point in the "Map Editor".
    Classifier survey.v5.rscz has been updated.
    The digital classifier is included into the GIS "Panorama" and is used to structure and unify information about objects of federal significance, objects of regional significance and objects of local significance, necessary for the preparation of territorial planning documents of the Russian Federation, constituent entities of the Russian Federation and municipalities.

  • 02.03.2021 Examples for demonstrating technology of work with spatial databases have been prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared a set of examples demonstrating technologies for working with spatial databases. The set includes archives of demo databases that can be deployed in PostgreSQL, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, and also a project of maps intended for use in "Panorama" geoinformation products. Access to spatial databases (DB) running under the control of "industrial" DBMS PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server is implemented at the level of the geoinformation core and is supported in the server and desktop applications of KB "Panorama", as well as in applications based on the geoinformation core "Panorama" with use of the MAPAPI interface or components from toolset of GIS ToolKit and GIS Constructor.

    Demonstration spatial databases contain a fragment of the map of the city of Petrozavodsk in the Republic of Karelia, divided into separate thematic layers (hydrography, road network, buildings, etc.), which are physically represented in separate database tables. Each such spatial layer corresponds to a *.dbm file included in the demo. The * .dbm file is required for opening a spatial layer from a database. In the software products of KB "Panorama", both a separate spatial layer and the whole map can be opened. For this, a map project (*.mpt) is used that combines several spatial layers.

    The demo example for each of the above DBMSs includes a readme.ru.txt file containing instructions for deploying a demo spatial database. Demonstration examples of spatial databases are available for download in the Download section.

  • 01.03.2021 Bank of spatial data has been supplemented with a map of England
    Geoportal "Bank of the spatial data" has been supplemented with a map of England, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. Source data were obtained from Geofabrik website. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 26.02.2021 GIS Server supports the publication of new type of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 9.4 has been developed. In the new version a support of access to the packed projects of MPTZ format has been added. The packaged project may include a comprehensive representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, terrain images in RSW format, matrixes of heights and matrixes of terrain quality characteristics. The virtual folder on the GIS Server can be supplemented/updated by MPTZ projects in the background mode, changing the area and detail of the background cartographic coverage and the composition of remote sensing data without additional data administration. To read MPTZ, the client must be version 13.6.3 or higher.

    Support for the formats DBM, SITZ, MAPZ, MPTZ has been added to the procedure for backup of vector maps. The SITZ, MAPZ, MPTZ extensions have been added into the filter of vector maps for monitoring virtual folders. The protocol for loading data sets into the Databank of the Digital Maps and ERS is written in UTF-8 encoding. Calculation of checksums of files when writing into the Databank of Digital Maps and ERS is performed using the CRC32 algorithm. The program has improved the caching of packed sitz\mapz maps opened from another server. The algorithm for backup of DBM files has been changed to exclude the background opening of the spatial database without an explicit client request. The dongle driver has been updated from version 6 to version 7 for correct operation of the network license.

    The GIS Server is designed to provide remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes, documents and spatial databases of users of the programs the GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator", GIS WebService SE and others. Users of desktop and web applications on different platforms can simultaneously view and edit data in accordance with access rights.

  • 25.02.2021 In "Workstation of urban planner" the tools of information interaction with FSIS TP have been updated
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of urban planner" version 13.6.3 has been developed. In the new version the tools of information interaction with Federal State Information System of Territorial Planning have been improved. In the program the mode of saving schemes of territorial planning and maps of master plans in GML format has been updated. For an unloading of maps in local or local coordinate system for which there is no EPSG code, it is possible to set value equal to zero. During the import and export of territorial planning schemes and master plans with zero EPSG code, a message appears - invalid EPSG code for the TP scheme, the error is recorded into the protocol, but the work is not interrupted. It allows to unload the information for transfer to FSIS TP.
    To implement the requirements for describing and displaying objects of federal, regional and local significance in territorial planning documents, in accordance with the appendix to order в„– 10 of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, KB "Panorama" has also developed a terplan.v4.rscz digital map classifier, which contains the required list of objects and attributes. "Workstation of urban planner" supports the creating and editing the maps of territorial planning's documents and their unloading into exchange formats. In the new version of the program, the mode of export to SHP of schemes of territorial planning and master plans maps has been improved. There is added an automatic filling with default values for required attributes GLOBALID - object identifier and CLASSID - object code. The GUID of the map object is used for filling the GLOBALID. To fill in the CLASSID, semantics with code 32800 is used. If it is absent in the object, then the classification code of the object from the classifier is recorded.

    In FSIS TP, it is allowed to place approved and project documents of territorial planning both in vector and in raster form. To increase the speed of loading raster data from FSIS TP in the "Workstation of urban planner" the import of graphic files of the GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG and other formats into the RSW format has been improved. Due to the use of multithreaded processing on a multicore processor, the task execution time has been reduced by 3-6 times. The control example from 384 GeoTIFF files in volume of 45 GB was processed for 57 minutes instead of 190 minutes in the previous version of the program.

  • 24.02.2021 Examples of projects of 3D-models of territories and scenarios for GIS WebServer SE have been updated
    KB "Panorama" has prepared a new project of a three-dimensional model of the territory of Moscow and Moscow Region to demonstrate the possibilities of three-dimensional modeling of a universal GIS for constructing geoportals for various purposes GIS WebServer SE. The project contains data from open sources: images, maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data, elevation data. The three-dimensional view of the map objects is built dynamically with using the templates of models specified in the library of three-dimensional models of objects map5000m.p3d of the classifier of digital plans of cities at a scale of 1: 5 000 map5000m.rscz. Such approach allows to quickly obtain 3D terrain model which will correspond to all changes of objects on a two-dimensional map. The presence in the library of models of near and far three-dimensional view accelerates the display of the terrain model in general, with the possibility of more detailed display of objects nearby. The project includes models of the Moscow Kremlin, Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Zaryadye Park and other sights and outstanding objects of the capital. They were prepared by the designers of KB "Panorama" using photographic materials and reference information in the editor of three-dimensional models and tied to the terrain using the import of three-dimensional models in the task "Navigator 3D" in the GIS "Panorama". The import is made into a database of 3D-tiles of spatial data in DB3D format to display accurate and realistic 3D models of unlimited size.

    A new example of the dynamic scenario "Emergency Scenario in Novorossiysk" has been added into the "South of Russia" project. The project itself is also made on the basis of data from open sources. The scenario was created in the "Navigator 3D" task in the GIS "Panorama" using the operator.rscz classifier of objects of operational situation and its library of three-dimensional models of weapons and equipment operator.p3d. Creation and playback of dynamic scenarios allows you to simulate and calculate actions, their time and sequence for various services in case of emergencies.
    The updated examples of projects of three-dimensional models of territories are designed to show the variety of data, on the basis of which a high-quality three-dimensional model of the terrain can be obtained when building geoportals for various purposes with using the GIS WebServer SE. In the projects of Moscow, Noginsk, Yekaterinburg, Kronstadt, South of Russia, a three-dimensional terrain model is built using maps of a unified cartographic base. Projects of Tomsk, Sochi, Chechen Republic, Kyrgyz Republic, Primorsky Krai demonstrate the capabilities of models using laser scanning of the terrain.

    GIS WebServer SE automates the publication of changing spatial data based on web services. The program creates new layers of data and allows you to edit them. GIS WebServer SE provides access to user data from any computer, displays a 3D model using open vector maps, matrixes of heights and terrain images without preparing a model. Allows to create thematic maps and cartograms, carries out search of the shortest routes in the graph of roads.

  • 20.02.2021 GIS "Panorama" supports new sources of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 13.6.3 has been developed. The new version expands the list of supported DBMS for working with spatial databases: PostgreSQL with the PostGIS extension, Oracle with the Oracle Spatial or ArcSDE extension, Microsoft SQL Server. Database connection parameters (table, data view or SQL query) are customized in the database connection administration dialog and saved in a file with the DBM extension, which has an XML structure. The settings provide for entering the name of the DBM file, the mode and parameters of connecting to the database, creating the lists of displayed and edited objects and their semantic characteristics (attributes). GIS "Panorama" provides direct display and editing of arbitrary spatial databases in cartographic conventional symbols, including those created by other GIS, without additional third-party modules based on direct interaction with PostgreSQL, Oracle and MS SQL Server DBMS through SQL queries.
    Possibility has been added for displaying a packed project of spatial data MPTZ from the GIS Server of version 9.4 and higher. A packaged project may include a complex representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, images of the terrain in RSW format, matrixes of heights and matrixes of quality characteristics of the terrain, insets from the same data, the reference to data from the GIS Server and from geoportals by various protocols. All data sets are packed into one file of MPTZ format. The total amount of packed data is reduced by 3-10 times. The speed of data exchange, packed into an MPTZ project, increases 5-20 times, taking into account the decrease in the number of transferred files. The size of the MPTZ file and the number of sets in the project are not limited. Maps are packed together with classifiers, a tree of distribution of objects over the map area, multiscale objects (generalized contours for different display scales) and hash tables indexed for search of objects semantics, pyramids of raster tiles and matrixes, which provides high speed of display and data search. The virtual folder on the GIS Server can be supplemented/updated by MPTZ projects in a background mode, changing the area and detail of the background cartographic coverage and the composition of remote sensing data without additional data administration. Packaged MPTZ projects can be formed by region (as, for example, on Digital maps page) or according to nomenclature sheets (for example, at a scale of 1: 500 000), which allows you to quickly form a complex coverage of a given territory.

    In the task of importing graphic files (GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG and others), a loading the pyramid of raster tiles from the KMZ format has been added. A KMZ archive can contain a KML file and a set of raster files. The KML file contains a description of parameters of the raster data - the names and coordinates of a binding of rasters, and also the priority of their rendering. As a result of importing a pyramid of raster tiles from KMZ, a set of RSW files is formed combined into an MPT project. The MPT project contains a list of rasters in RSW format and the visibility borders of the rasters according to the "Draw Order" parameter.

    In the task of importing matrixes from SRTM, GeoTIFF formats, loading of the pyramid of matrixes of heights of a relief from the KMZ format has been added. The KMZ archive contains a KML file and a set of single-channel GeoTIFF files with data on elevation heights, from which a set of MTW files is formed combined into an MPT project with specified matrix visibility borders in accordance with the "Draw Order" parameter.

    The speed of searching for objects with given semantic characteristics is increased by an average of 1 000 times due to the indexing of semantics values using polynomial hashing methods, building reference books of values and other improvements of search algorithms. In a test case of 4 000 000 objects, a search was performed using three indexed semantics: "Name", "Number of inhabitants", "Unique object identifier", which were filled in for more than 3 350 000 objects. The speed of performing sample of objects has decreased from 4 seconds to 4-5 milliseconds. The additional amount of RAM for placing the hash tables was 95 MB, the size of the original map was 802 MB. To activate the construction of hash tables, it is necessary to enable the "Index for search" option in the Classifier Editor for the semantics used when searching for objects. To reduce the time for building hash tables, they are saved into a file with the ".seh" extension and read when the map opening. When saving a map in the packed SITZ\MAPZ\MPTZ format, hash tables are packed in a common archive with the map. The new algorithm makes it possible to execute more requests on search from application tasks in multithreaded mode and improve the performance of server applications.
    When importing GeoTIFF files, analysis of GeogCitationGeoKey and PCSCitationGeoKey tags has been added to support GSK-2011 and PZ-90.11 coordinate systems. Tag GeogCitationGeoKey can contain records of the type: "PZ-90.11 Zone 6" or "GSK-2011 Zone 7". The contents of the GeogCitationGeoKey and PCSCitationGeoKey tags supplement the numeric coordinate system parameters specified by other tags.

    In the task of editing the list of semantics, for convenience and acceleration of work, the ability to copy and paste semantics values by using the clipboard has been expanded. Copying to the clipboard is carried out by a combination of hot keys Ctrl+Ins, Ctrl+C, paste - Ctrl+V. The insertion of semantics value is supported both for a separate object and for objects in the selected range of cells of the semantics table. Selection of lines is carried out by holding the left button of the computer mouse. Insertion is possible for assigning a semantic value of one code to all table objects. For this, the "Paste from clipboard" item is assigned in the context menu.

    To display polygons with a point symbol, a new property of objects in the "Classifier Editor" has been added - "Polygon with a point". For objects with this property, when creating and editing an object, or when sorting, a subobject with one point in the center of the polygon is automatically created. If a conventional symbol of polygon contains polygon parameters and parameters of a point or vector symbol, the corresponding symbol will be displayed in the center of the polygon. The user can change the position of the point in the "Map Editor".

    Classifier survey.v5.rscz has been updated.   • 17.02.2021 In the Converter of large-scale maps and plans into DXF format, the quality of formed maps for systems of computer-aided design (CAD) has been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the Converter of large-scale plans into DXF format version 8.4 has been developed. The program allows you to create a large-scale topographic map or plan in DXF format in standard conventional symbols used for cartographic work in the Russian Federation. The creation, quality control and designing of the map in SXF format using RSC classifiers are preliminarily performed. The prepared maps are converted into DXF format in compliance with the uniform requirements for the design of conventional symbols for maps and plans. The delivery set includes classifiers and libraries of conventional symbols in DXF format for large-scale maps and plans of scales : 500, 1: 1 000, 1: 2 000, 1: 5 000.

    In the new version, it is possible to get a list of reference blocks and line styles that are in the block of the drawing description. The functionality of unloading the settings of the correspondence file into the MS Excel format has been improved. It allows to make the additional analysis of parameters of converting and to print them. The visual interface has been updated and help in the html format has been added. The GIS core of the program has been updated to version 13, which improves the performance of the program when processing data.

  • 16.02.2021 In GIS Constructor the processing of spatial data of large volume is accelerated
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 13.4.0 has been developed for operating systems CentOS, Ubuntu, Astra Linux SE. In the new version, the transformation of vector maps into a preset coordinate system has been accelerated by 4-6 times. This expands support for both embedded devices, which have processor performance limitations, and high-performance systems, where it is necessary to use the available processor power maximally. When adding a map with transformation, a copy of the original map is created in the map subdirectory with a name containing the name of the passport file and the current date. Additionally, the opening and first display of maps has been accelerated due to the formation of a "*.sol" file with a tree of territorial distribution of objects onto each map sheet. When the map is opened, the objects tree is read and the first display is accelerated by 5-15 times (for a map with 2 million objects, the opening and first display is accelerated from 9-12 seconds to 1 second). When sorting a map in SITZ\MAPZ format or saving an MPTZ project, the tree of objects is saved in a packed data file with further acceleration of the first opening of a map. In the absence of the "*.sol" file the automatic constructing a tree and file saving are carried out.

To display DEMs with smoothing, you must enable the main menu item Options\Display matrix with smoothing.
    The functionality of the QDMapWindow digital map display component has been expanded. The component implements the ability to open a fragment of a map bounded by a frame. This functionality allows you to work with a small area of the map, increasing the convenience and speed of work due to providing access only to the required data.

    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

    The toolkit is adapted for work on a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux SE, ALT Linux, Elbrus, Ubuntu, CentOS, QNX) and architectures (Intel, Elbrus, PowerPC, SPARC, ARM). The toolkit includes components of visual designing the GIS applications and library of a multiplatform multithreaded GIS core. GIS Constructor provides a cross-platform MAPAPI interface that allows a programmer to implement development in an operating system convenient for it.     The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc) and was saved into a packed project (MPTZ). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region), a map of the administrative-territorial division of the region and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data.   • 12.02.2021 "Workstation of cadastral engineer" provides a formation of graphic applications to the forest declaration
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 13.6.2 has been developed. The new version contains tools that provide the formation of graphical applications to the forest declaration. The form of the forest declaration, the procedure for filling it out and submitting it, the requirements for the format of the forest declaration were approved by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of the Russian Federation of July, 30th, 2020 N 539.

    The forest declaration contains information about the location of the forest area; about the volume of forest use; about the types of forest use that are provided for by the lease agreement for the forest plot, or other document in accordance with which the use of forests is carried out, by the forest development project for the declared period. To prepare graphic applications for the forest declaration by means of the "Workstation of cadastral engineer", it is necessary to create a digital map using the updated forestry.v2 classifier, to draw the boundaries of forest areas and to fill in the necessary attributes. The contour of forest areas should describe the boundaries of forest infrastructure objects (including cutting areas), objects of timber processing infrastructure and objects not related to the creation of forest infrastructure.

    For formation of reports the modes of "Geodesy editor" from panel "Formation of reports" are used. "To print the summary report on the selected objects" mode ensures creation of appendices 1 and 2 to the forest declaration, and the "Create an object scheme and filling the report" mode of appendices 3 and 4 to the forest declaration. To form reports, templates are used that are located into the Geodesy.dot folder.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 13.6.2 has been developed. In the new version, the display of conventional symbols the width of which changes when changing the text of signature inside the sign has been improved. In the "Editor of a vector sign" there is added the button "[T]" - Choice of a text chain for specifying the size of a sign. In order that the sign changes its width at changing the text of a chain, it is necessary in the list of chains to choose a text element by which the width of a sign will be controlled and to press the "[T]" button. [T] symbol will be displayed to the left of the selected chain. You need to choose the chain, the text of which is most likely to be longer than the rest. The chain coordinates should be closer to the edges of the frame, so that when the sign is stretched proportionally, empty areas are not formed at the edges of the signature. Stretchable signs are used in maps of the operational situation (control points), aeronautical maps (zone signatures), topographic maps (road number in a frame) and others.

    The classifier of objects of the operational situation operator.rsc has been updated. There is specified the type of conventional signs such as command posts, communication facilities, engineering equipment, units of permanent readiness and many others contained in the layers: "Actions of ground forces. Strikes, fires of missile-artillery means", "Engineering troops", "FSB bodies", "MIA of the RF","GIBDD of MIA of the RF", "Ministry of Transport of the RF", "Electronic Warfare troops", "Signal troops", "Road Bodies of the RF", "Space troops", "Mobilization deployment", "Moral and psychological support of troops", "EMERCOM and Civil defense", "Operational objects of general use", "Border agencies. Management", "Enemy - position, actions", "Strategic missile forces", "Formations and military units of technical troops", "Topogeodetic support of troops" and others.

    Classifier of emergency situation emercom.v2.rsc has been updated. There is specified the type of conventional symbols of the type of control points, departments of EMERCOM, elements of the warning system and others contained in the layers: "Objects of transport infrastructure", "Objects of communication systems, monitoring, warning and informing population", "Territories, objects of economy and infrastructure", "Objects of civil defense and ensuring the protection of the population from emergencies", "Objects, territories, routes and forces for carrying out evacuation measures", "Governing bodies and forces of the civil defense and RSChS", "Units and subdivisions of the civil defense and RSChS".

    In the new version, the transformation of vector maps from one coordinate system to another has been accelerated by 4-6 times. The task is called from the menu "Tools\Coordinate systems\Standard transformation" or when adding maps in different coordinate systems. Import of graphic files of GeoTIFF, PNG, JPEG and other formats into RSW format is accelerated by 3-6 times due to the use of multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor. A test case from 384 GeoTIFF files in volume of 45 GB has been processed in 57 minutes instead of 190 minutes in the previous version. The optimization of the list of rasters in RSW format is 2-4 times faster due to the use of multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor: compression, decompression and updating of general images of rasters (pyramids of tiles). A test case of 384 rasters with a total size of 125 GB is compressed using the JPEG algorithm up to 2.37 GB in 25 minutes instead of 48 minutes in the previous version of the program.Import of matrixes of heights and quality characteristics from HGT (SRTM), GeoTIFF and IMG files has been accelerated 3-5 times due to the use of multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor. The test set from 379 GeoTIFF files in volume of 44 GB was processed in 44 minutes instead of 156 minutes in the previous version of the program.

    The tasks "Raster passport" and "Matrix passport" have been improved.     The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. Ability has been added for simultaneously connecting several layers according to the international standard OGC WMS or OGC WMTS through the "Open map from WMS server" dialog.   • 10.02.2021 GIS WebService SE expands the possibilities of information systems for analysis of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.8.0 has been developed. In the new version the list of supported requests for working with spatial objects has been expanded. For overlay operations, a request has been implemented to check the relative position of map objects, taking into account common intersection points or common segments. The request was added: whether the layer with 3D data into the list of setup file is published. For compatibility with Linux systems, all layer identifiers and data paths have become case sensitive. The parameter has been added that allows you to display the encoded value for semantics of the "Classifier" (list) type for GetFeature requests. A new parameter has been added to the GetFeature requests, which allows to limit the number of objects in the response for complex XMLRPC requests for each layer separately. The request for building thematic maps has been improved.

    The user interface is optimised. Additional parameters are hidden into the separate block. Possibility of connecting the tracks of motion of 3D objects has been added. Possibility of selecting the several schemes for a layer has been implemented.
    In order to improve security, into the program for Linux and MS Windows operating systems a control over the integrity of the installation and service files when it starts has been added. The reliability of work with data on the GIS Server is increased. The output of messages into the system event log has been improved.

    Possibility has been implemented to work with semantics from a DB directly without their additional settings in the dbm file and a transfer to the cache created by the service. This will greatly speed up the cache creation process, and also will simplify process of synchronisation of spatial data.
    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), which are used to transfer and display spatial data. The program implements the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms and is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 08.02.2021 Governor of the Ryazan region has highly appreciated development of Regional geoinformation system
    On February, 3rd 2021, the Governor of the Ryazan region Nikolay Ljubimov has held meeting on the reached results and prospects of development of Regional geoinformation system of the Ryazan region (RGIS RR). This system is intended for gathering, storage and continuous update of the information about the state and dynamics of development of objects and territories of the Ryazan region.
    RGIS RR was built using the serial software of KB "Panorama". GIS "Panorama" provides employees of various departments a functionality for the preparation of digital maps, which are subsequently placed on the spatial data server under the control of the GIS Server SE. The spatial data service GIS WebService SE provides the publication of web-layers based on the information located on the spatial data server. Representatives of regional departments widely use the mechanism of virtual folders for automatic web-publishing of layers, which can be accessed on the regional geoportal under the control of GIS WebServer SE. For the convenience of users, the layers of industry data are grouped into industry projects, access to which is determined by the role and availability of rights.
    The Minister of Digital Development, Information Technologies and Communications Valery Stroykov noted that to date, 54 industry projects have been created in the RGIS RR, containing thematic layers by subject areas and types of activity. As an example, the publicly significant project "Open Industry Data" was given, which contains information about spatial data in the public domain.
    "The system is multifunctional and is used not only by the authorities. It is open to a wide range of users - for citizens, organizations, including potential investors and companies that participate in urban planning activities. The development of this system is one of the important tasks that we are implementing within the framework of digital transformation of the Ryazan region.     The task "Control of absolute heights" has been improved. Control of heights in areas of areal rocks has been added. When searching for unacceptable elevation differences along the selected profile, it is determined that the drop point hits the inside of the areal rock, where such differences are possible. If it hits, the message is logged; if the "Issue warnings" mode is set, this mode is disabled by default. The refinement reduces the number of messages, which makes it easier to analyze the control result. The number of sections for horizontal and vertical profiling of objects with absolute height has been increased. For linear and areal objects, instead of one profile, three are built - in the center and at the edges of the dimension, which helps to reduce misses when searching for unacceptable height differences.

    The "View error" mode of the "Map Editor" task has been improved. Possibility of saving records about the detected errors into a text file of CSV format has been added. CSV format is supported by spreadsheets and database management systems. The log can contain messages from any tasks that generate warnings: messages about errors in semantics, double points in the metric, the presence of loops, errors of subobject occurrence, mismatch of the contours of objects, intersection of the contours of objects, messages about mismatch of heights, missing contours, errors in elevation marks, mismatch of semantics of adjacent objects of adjacent sheets and others. For the each record of the file of the map control's protocol, the text of the message and information for identifying the object for which this message was generated (unique object number, sheet number, sheet name, point coordinates) can be placed into the CSV file.

    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data version 5.2.2 has been developed. The new version simplifies system administration, due to use of algorithm of automatic cleaning of temporary files, including the downloaded data archives. Placing spatial data into file storage is performed with integrity check and checksum determination. The results of the work are recorded into the diagnostic log, with the output of statistics on the server resources - the available number of cores, the amount of RAM, the percentage of memory load. The reliability of the service with data located on the GIS Server is increased when maintaining a distributed structure of file storage.

    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data is the basis for building infrastructure of spatial data at the federal, regional and municipal levels, in corporate information systems. Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator"). The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud warehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file warehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.
    The portal "Bank of spatial data" presents the possibilities of organizing storage, accounting and issuance of cartographic materials in vector, raster and matrix form. The portal contains vector maps in SXF format, generated on the basis of data from open sources (OpenStreetMap, VMap0). The spatial data includes maps of: subjects of the Russian Federation, countries and cities of the near and far abroad. In total, over 200 vector maps and 6000 matrix data with a total volume of 50 GB. Specialists of KB "Panorama" weekly update and refresh the content of the information on the portal.     In KB "Panorama" the GIS ToolKit of version 13.2.1 has been developed for creating GIS-applications in the environment of C ++ Builder, Delphi Embarcadero. The new version expands the possibilities of the TMapEditMetric component, which allows the programmer to implement interactive creation and editing of metrics (coordinates) of map objects in his application. In addition to the available modes for creating objects and subobjects, moving of objects, adding, deleting and editing metric points and selecting an arbitrary point on the contour of an object, a mode for selecting metric points of an existing object to "capture" points of other map objects or nodes of a rectangular map grid has been added into the component. If the corresponding option is activated, when the mouse cursor moves over the map, objects are searched for in the immediate vicinity of the cursor and the current edited point is "pulled" to the nearest metric point of the found object. It is possible to "capture" both the "real" points of the nearest object - in this case, only the points recorded in the metric of the object are taken, and "virtual" points - in this case, the coordinate of the point closest to the cursor on the contour of the object is taken, which is not necessarily included in the metric of this object.

    Into the TMapEditMetric component the method has been added allowing from the outside to set coordinates of a current edited point. This allows the programmer to implement additional control over process of interactive editing, complementing it, for example, with possibilities of positioning by pressing keys on the keyboard.

    In the updated component of interactive editing, a whole set of events has been added that allow you to perform its processing when you select an object point, edit it or delete it. In this case, in the event handler, it is possible to correct the coordinates of the point being edited or to cancel the corresponding operation altogether. This makes it possible to implement additional logic in the application - for example, control and prohibition of object points falling into certain zones.
    The TMapView and TMapScreen map display components have the ability to display a rectangular grid and control its parameters.

    The GIS ToolKit consists of a set of visual components (supplied in source code) and API functions of the GIS core for direct access to spatial data. The toolkit is intended for the development of client-server and desktop 32-bit and 64-bit applications that require processing and visualization of spatial data. Spatial data can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and in a local network or the Internet (components of access to the GIS Server or data exchange using international protocols are used).

  • 27.01.2021 Specialists of KB "Panorama" will make a presentation and hold a master class at the international conference "Geodesy, Mine Survey and Aerial Survey"
    From 11 to 12 February 2021 Moscow will host the 12th International Scientifically-Practical Conference "Geodesy, Mine Survey and Aerial Survey". As part of this event, specialists from KB "Panorama" will make a presentation and hold a master class "Integrated use of data of geodesy, mine survey and aerial survey". The event participants will be shown the capabilities of the professional GIS "Panorama" and industry solutions for processing and analyzing spatial data coming from various sources. The presentation and master class will reflect software technologies that implement a unified methodology for the integrated use of vector, matrix and raster data for solving applied problems.

    To process the results of field geodetic measurements, the means of importing data from digital devices, calculation and adjustment of measurements from the "Geodesy calculations" task are used. The calculation results are put on the map, where additional operations can be performed to calculate the coordinates of points and create on their basis linear and areal objects using the "Geodesy editor". For calculating coordinates of points on the basis of linear measurements along a route (for example, a road axis) the tools of support of linear coordinate system are used.

    Results of the laboratory analysis of soils are used for conducting a base of subsoil survey points presented in coordinates of wellhead. For control of boring operations, estimation of spatial position of a wellbore and a relative positioning of two and more wellbores, the set of modes "Well calculations" is intended. Soil survey points and a matrix of heights of a relief are used for creation of a matrix of layers characterising geological layers. Matrixes of qualities are used for building surfaces of qualitative characteristics or estimated indicators of terrain conditions, including for the analysis of hydrological conditions.

    Photographs obtained as a result of aerial survey using unmanned aerial vehicles are processed by photogrammetric tools for creating matrixes of heights and orthophotomaps. The processing results are sent to the GIS "Panorama" for manual and semi-automatic vectorization of terrain objects.

  • 25.01.2021 GIS WebServer SE forms three-dimensional models according to the customized parameters of orientation and observation points
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE versions 6.1 has been developed for operating systems Astra Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, MS Windows. The new version adds the ability to display a 3D map with additional parameters of the orientation of the terrain model and the coordinates of the observation point. The parameters allow you to convert the three-dimensional map into a form that is convenient for perception already at the start of the mode. Three-dimensional images of terrain are generated using a database of terrain models in DB3D format, photorealistic three-dimensional models of unlimited size (TLS, OC3) are used, spatial data is imported from other exchange formats. The projects the Map of World and Noginsk have been updated. Projects provide access to an infrastructure of the spatial data deployed on the web-server in OC Ubuntu. The tools of searching for map objects have been expanded. The ability to select objects, taking into account their visibility at the current scale of the map display, has been implemented. Map editor, administration module have been updated.
    In the new version the toolkit for developing Web applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and information about the terrain) is provided by Web services according to the generally accepted OGC protocols and ISO standards. Various types of elevation data are used as a digital elevation model: matrixes (in SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW formats), TIN models, point clouds, and others.
    Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be as a source of spatial data. It provides collection, storage, search and issuance of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, automated generation and updating of geo-covers.
    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data that are classified or trade secrets. GIS WebServer SE is certified for level 2 of the absence of undeclared possibilities. The new version of the program expands the possibilities of the application when solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the development of territories. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use JavaScript.

  • 21.01.2021 "Workstation of geologist" provides processing and analysis of inclinometry measurements
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of geologist" version 13.6.1 has been developed. "Workstation of geologist" includes the necessary components for processing and analysis of the terrain, geological structure, soil properties, hydrogeological conditions and geological processes. In the new version of the program the "Complex of geological tasks" has been updated. The following modes have been implemented: "Build the well axis by coordinates", "Build the well axis by inclinometry", "Build of intersection layers", "Horizontal and vertical projection of the well axis". New modes are grouped into a separate panel "Well calculations", they are intended for processing and analysis of three-dimensional data on the axis of the well, including processing of inclinometry measurements. The mode "Horizontal and vertical projection of the well axis" provides creation of inclinogram - scheme of a projection of well onto horizontal and vertical planes. This mode allows you to analyze the spatial location of several adjacent wells.

    The "Complex of hydrological tasks" included into the "Workstation of a geologist" is intended for an estimation of water filling of a given a given at changing the level of rising of water, and also obtaining the graphic documents with results of modelling. Geological and hydrological tasks use matrix data to analyze relief and terrain conditions. The matrix of heights is intended for relief modelling. The matrix of layers provides modelling of geological layers. The matrix of qualities is used to model and analyze various characteristics: the level of groundwater occurrence, the type of soil cover, the depth of the reservoir, the coefficient of mechanically mined soil, the level of flood waters, and much more. In the new version of the program the mode "Matrix calculator" has been added, intended for execution of operations of maps algebra. Algebra of maps - operations during performing of which, on the basis of one or several source matrixes, the new matrix is created, and values of cells of this matrix depend on values of cells of the source matrixes having identical coordinates. The use of this mode expands the possibilities for analyzing the results of engineering-geological and engineering-hydrological surveys of the area and assessing the hydrogeological conditions taken into account in the designing, construction and operation of real estate objects.

  • 19.01.2021 In the Complex of automated checking the quality and correction of maps, the new methods of checking the filling of objects attributes have been added
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of the automated checking the quality and correction of maps version 7.1 has been developed. In the new version the procedures of checking the quality of a digital map have been improved. Control of double points of the objects metrics was updated. When performing control in edit mode, double points are filtered taking into account topological links with neighboring objects on the map sheet. Neighboring objects with common points are filtered at the same time. Endpoints are not filtered. Control of repetition of values of unique semantics on sheet has been added.

    A new mode "Control of values by symbol table" has been added into the control of objects semantics. This control allows you to find Latin characters in the values of the selected symbolic semantics and replace Latin characters with Cyrillic characters. This mode is relevant for characters that have the same image in Latin and Cyrillic, for example: K, A, M, E, P, T, O, H and others. Correction of the text semantics is necessary for the correct operation of tasks of search by the value of symbolic semantics, for example: by the name of the city, street, surname.

    There is added a control over the direction of digitizing multipolygons. Control of report of adjacent sheets has been improved. The check for the digitizing direction of linear objects going on the sheet frame has been implemented. Objects with the direction of digitization "Predefined" (linear rivers), "Lower right" (horizontals) are checked.
    The complex of automated checking the quality and correction of digital maps is designed to obtain a single digital map from the original digital maps in the SXF format, created according to different classifiers. The complex consists of a program of checking and correcting the DTM in SXF format, a utility for control of coordination of adjacent DTM sheets, a subroutine for combining adjacent DTM sheets and a procedure for analyzing the correspondence of the object content of maps and classifiers.

  • 14.01.2021 In Imagery Service a performance of service has been improved when monitoring data
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Service version 9.1.0 has been developed. In the new version the speed of working the service has been increased when monitoring large data sets. The Imagery Service allows you to track changes in spatial data in real time and rebuild only the changed areas. The program carries out monitoring the data changes: by the transaction log - for vector data, by the update time - for raster and matrix data. Imagery Service allows to automatically maintain tile data arrays on the geoportal up to date state.

    In the new version the administrator interface has been improved. Descriptions for matrixes, the size of a tile, the projection description were added. Support of server message logging has been added. Support for large volumes of spatial data (satellite images, DEMs, vector maps) was added.

    Panorama Imagery Service is a service designed to create and update tile pyramids in PNG, PNG8 or JPEG formats using spatial data managed by the GIS Server program. Pyramids of tiles are published using OGC WMTS protocol by service the GIS WebService SE. As the clients of services, there can be various GIS supporting the OGC WMTS protocol and users of the GIS WebServer SE program. Pyramids of tiles can be created on the base of a combination of digital vector maps, space and aerial photography, matrixes of elevations, data from geoportals and other data.

  • 10.01.2021 In professional vectorizer "Panorama-Editor" the tools of creation and checking the quality of digital topographical and special maps have been expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectoriozer "Panorama-Editor" version 13.6.1 has been developed. In the new version, in the "Map Editor" task, the composition of the "Graphic Objects" panel has been expanded: modes have been added for controlling the color, scale, transparency of the conventional symbol of the object selected on the map. In the mode of editing common vertexes the function of capture of nodes of other objects ('K') has been added. In the mode of union of selected line objects, the option Create polyline has been added to combine the selected line objects into one object. In the task "Lists of objects", the "Matching contours" mode has been added into the crossings search. The mode carries out search of objects at which the external and internal contours are matched. The direction of digitization, the position of the starting points and the sequence of the contours of the found objects may not coincide. The tools for viewing and editing tables of attributes of spatial databases, searching for data and viewing tables with a large number of records have been expanded. "Panorama Editor" provides direct display and editing of arbitrary spatial databases in cartographic conventional symbols, including those created by other GIS, without additional third-party modules based on direct interaction with PostgreSQL and Oracle DBMS through SQL queries.

    The block of geodesy and cadastral tasks has been improved. In a mode "the Information from the state cadastre of real estate" a support API of functions of Rosreestra on access to the data has been implemented. The mode provides sending requests for information about the cadastral objects available at the specified point. The obtained information in the form of a list of cadastral numbers is displayed on the corresponding pages of the dialog. When choosing a specific cadastral number of an object, a request and display of public cadastral information about a quarter, land plot or real estate object are performed.

    To improve the quality of created digital topographic and special maps and reduce the complexity of their verification, the automated data control tools have been updated. In the task "Control of absolute heights", the possibility of using the filter of objects for changing the composition of processed map objects has been implemented. Using the filter, you can specify: map layers and types of objects (localization), objects samples, list of nomenclature sheets, semantic and spatial characteristics of objects. Preliminary assessment of control results has been added. When a large number of errors "Discrepancy of elevation and code" (comparable to the total number of contour lines in the region) are issued, a message is displayed about the possible incorrectness of the vertical interval of relief in the map passport. The task "Coordination of adjacent sheets" has been improved, which perform a checking the coordination of objects of adjacent sheets of a vector map with the issuance of an error log. There is added a check for the digitizing direction of linear objects going on the sheet frame. Objects with the direction of digitization "Predefined" (linear rivers), "Lower right" (horizontals) are checked. The program of checking a vector map has been improved. Into the report on execution of the quality control of the DTM, the output of information on the control's types "Control of values by symbol table" and "Unique value control" has been added. The control of values by the symbol table allows you to find Latin characters in the values of the selected symbolic semantics and to replace Latin characters with Cyrillic characters. Control of unique values is used to check the repetition of semantics' values for which the "Unique value in the sheet" property is set in the map classifier. A new mode "Control of values by symbol table" has been added into the control of objects semantics. This control allows you to find Latin characters in the values of the selected symbolic semantics and replace Latin characters with Cyrillic characters.     In the "Map print" dialog the ability has been added to limit the display area of the map by the specified boundary (for example, the administrative boundary of the territory). In this case, you can set the degree of transparency of the map display outside the borders of the main contour of the object from 0 (source image) to 100% (completely filled).

    When forming world maps from a set of maps sheets in SXF format, the ability has been added to transfer sheets by longitude on +/-360 degrees. It allows to duplicate the columns of sheets in the western and\or eastern hemisphere for expansion of dimensions of work region up to -360/+360 degrees. The recalculation of coordinates and sheet passport will be performed automatically when importing the work region using the DIR file.
    In the task "Classifier Editor" a customization has been added for automatic recoding the semantics of the type "Classifier code (list)" when updating the classifier. This makes it possible to automate the process of replacing the list (a list of values and their codes) and rebuilding a series of objects created on the basis of the replaced semantics. When the user replaces the old classifier in the folder with the map and opens the map, objects will be automatically recoded with the formation of new semantics that have values from the new values classifiers. Objects will be displayed with new conventional symbols. When replacing it with the old classifier, the conventional symbols will return to their previous view.

    The survey.v5.rsc classifier has been updated, designed for creating land survey, technical plans, inspection reports, documents containing information about land management objects, public and other cadastral maps, drawings, as well as for reproduction of information contained in cadastral plans of territories and cadastral extracts of real estate objects. In the classifier there is expanded the list of objects to which the "Floor type" semantics (code 1119) has been added, necessary for preparing technical plans on creation, formation of objects of real estate, parts of real estate objects, as well as technical plans for changing information about real estate objects and their parts.

  • 08.01.2021 In GIS WebServer AGRO the tools of editing a map of agricultural land and conducting an agrarian database have been expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer AGRO version 3.0.1 has been developed. In the program the new version of the map editor has been implemented. The new editor provides a wide range of functions and tools for editing the metrics and semantics of objects on the map of agricultural land and objects of an infrastructure. In this case, the data can be represented both as a file of a digital map and as a table in the spatial database.
    The editor user interface is displayed in a separate window for a better overview of the map. It allows you to create new, modify existing map objects, perform actions on a group of objects. Operations are performed in a web browser and the result is uploaded to the server. Use the "View" panel to assign or change an object type. The object type can be set without interrupting the current editing operation. To do this, just select the appropriate icon in the "View" panel. Images of objects views are displayed as a legend (tree) or as a layout of objects (table).
    For fast creation of objects the editor uses templates of objects. Templates of objects - the graphic list of often used types of map objects. When a template is selected, the editor automatically switches to the mode of creating an object of the specified type. The editor informs the user about the actions being performed: changing the type of an object, deleting, changing attributes and other operations on objects. The information is recorded into the map event log, which can be viewed.
    The editor implements support for graphic objects, without selecting a conventional symbol from the map classifier file. Ability has been added to create an arbitrary visual representation of geographic objects. Users can define the parameters of the appearance of lines and areas: color, transparency, thickness, line type, select hatching, fonts and their design for text. The customized visual representation of the object is saved as a style and can be used repeatedly.
    In the new version of GIS WebServer AGRO, the user and administrator interface of the application has been updated. The new tools have been added, allowing to minimise and change the interface of the main map window. There is implemented the ability to display map controls in the side panel, which is located to the left or to right of the map and provides a convenient interface for managing the toolbox.
    The structure and interface of the administration module has been changed. In the module the possibility of conducting projects was added. Projects in GIS WebServer AGRO are created automatically and linked directly to agricultural enterprises described in the agrarian database, customized by means of "Panorama AGRO".
    GIS WebServer AGRO uses the GIS WebService SE cartographical service as a source of spatial data. Synchronization of cartographic information described in the "Panorama AGRO" database and information published on GIS WebService SE is carried out automatically. In the new version of GIS WebServer AGRO, the visualization of the map has been updated, drawing was accelerated and the layout of wms layers has been improved.
    For collective work with data, digital maps of farmland and enterprise infrastructure are placed on the GIS Server. Its use allows you to synchronize the work of the desktop "Panorama AGRO", web applications and mobile clients. Desktop applications such as GIS "Panorama", "Workstation of agronomist" and others can be connected to the server. It allows the mobile clients working through web to process the same data together with desktop clients.

  • 06.01.2021 GIS "Operator" simplifies preparation of command-staff documents and work with volumetric terrain models
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 13.6.0 has been developed. In the new version the tools of preparing and printing the command-staff documents have been improved. In the task "Map Editor", the composition of the "Graphic Objects" panel has been expanded: modes have been added for controlling the color, scale, transparency of a conventional symbol of the object selected on the map. In the application task "Report editor" the possibility has been implemented for automated formation of a set of map reports in jpg format of specified permissions in accordance with a prepared list. It simplifies embedding of reports into various documents and their updating. In "Map print" dialog the ability has been added to limit the display area of the map by a specified boundary (for example, the administrative boundary of the territory). In this case, you can set the degree of transparency of the map display outside the borders of the main contour of the object from 0 (source image) to 100% (completely filled). This mode is called through the context menu in the "Map print" dialog by pressing the "Select area by object" button. When saving and opening packed projects of maps in MPT\MPTZ format, the currently specified displaying composition for each project map is taken into account. This allows you to form projects of different composition of layers, scale, color design from one set of maps for use in the form of insets in various reports.
    When forming world maps from a set of maps sheets of SXF format, the ability has been added to transfer sheets in longitude by +/- 360 degrees. This allows to duplicate the columns of sheets in the western and/or eastern hemisphere to expand the size of the work region up to -360/+ 360degrees. The recalculation of coordinates and sheet passport will be performed automatically when importing the work region using the DIR file.
    The display of elevations matrixes has been improved: the color of the coverage point is calculated based on 16 adjacent heights using the bicubic interpolation method. The new method makes it possible to smooth the discreteness of the display of the matrix elements and the light-shadow mask (hillshade) of the relief, as well as to crop the matrix image by the frame with pixel accuracy.

    In the new version, the tools for viewing and editing tables of attributes of spatial databases have been expanded. Modes are added: select/cancel linked objects, show records for selected objects, show information about a map object for the current record. In dialog the tools for convenient viewing the table with a large amount of data are added: customization of the order of displaying columns, change of their width, setting the visibility status of columns. GIS "Operator" provides direct display and editing of arbitrary spatial databases in cartographic conventional symbols, including those created by other GIS, without additional third-party modules based on direct interaction with PostgreSQL and Oracle DBMS through SQL queries.

    In the task "Navigator 3D" new types of displaying surfaces, reliefs, objects have been added. The surface can be in the type of: a map with a customizable display composition, a smoothed matrix, a background, or be absent. The relief can be full, nodular, skeleton or transparent. Objects can have a three-dimensional view according to the classifier and displayed as full or skeleton models, or have no assigned three-dimensional model and are displayed as a default view, built by the object's metric. Composition of the display of 3D-objects can also be customized for all maps through the "Composition of the display" on the main toolbar of the "Navigator 3D" task. A variety of settings for displaying all elements of a three-dimensional terrain model allows the user to customize it for execution of specific tasks. For example, a transparent relief allows you to view underground objects: buildings elements, communications and others. Nodular and skeleton view of a relief make it possible to see the details of its construction. Skeleton type of objects helps to estimate their relative positioning. The interface of the dialog for importing 3D models into the database of three-dimensional tiles DB3D has been updated.

    The emercom.v2.rsc classifier has been updated, designed to create digital maps of emergency situations. For accounting objects under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Emergencies, and highlighting these objects with special conventional symbols, the following objects have been added: "Label of an object under the jurisdiction of EMERCOM", "Label of an object under the jurisdiction of the EMERCOM (simplified)", "Building under the jurisdiction of the EMERCOM".

  • 05.01.2021 In the GIS Constructor the tools of processing modern exchange formats of spatial data have been improved
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 13.3.0 has been developed for operating systems CentOS, Ubuntu, Astra Linux SE. In the new version, the functionality of the component of displaying three-dimensional model has been improved. When importing models into the DB3D format, spatial data TLS, OC3, DAE, OBJ can be imported as a set, assembled from various catalogs, with the ability to interactively select the composition of files. Possibility has been added for selecting a coordinate system of a binding the imported model: from the list, from a file of the metadata and EPSG database. For the COLLADA (DAE) format, a loading of the data can be executed in one of several provided modes depending on a way of the geometry analysis. For each level of the model, the user can select an individual texture value. In the component for importing graphic files when processing BMP, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, GeoTIFF, IMG formats, the user is provided with extended information about the source file: data type, minimum and maximum channel data values, interpretation method, projection parameters and coordinate systems. To optimize the import of large graphic files, it is possible to create an output file without copying data, in this case, raster data will be read directly from the original graphic file. To improve import performance, the user can disable transaction logging. In the dialog of importing matrixes from the SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG formats, the ability to eliminate undefined heights by mode of linear interpolation of neighboring known values has been added.
    Operator.p3d library of three-dimensional symbols of operator.rsc classifier has been improved. There are added the simplified models of Russian military equipment for displaying at distances far from the observer. This approach increases the speed of displaying a three-dimensional terrain model on maps of the operational situation with a large amount of equipment. Thus the nearest view of models remains detailed, corresponding to specific types of weapons. The operator.rsc classifier provides preparation of special maps for all types and branches of the RF Armed Forces.
    GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).
    The toolkit is adapted for work on a wide range of operating systems (Astra Linux SE, ALT Linux, Elbrus, Ubuntu, CentOS, QNX) and architectures (Intel, Elbrus, PowerPC, SPARC, ARM). The toolkit includes components of visual designing the GIS applications and library of a multiplatform multithreaded GIS core. GIS Constructor provides a cross-platform MAPAPI interface that allows a programmer to implement development in an operating system convenient for it. The developer can release GIS applications for a set of operating systems by simple assembly with minimal changes to the program source code.

  • 04.01.2021 Bank of spatial data has been supplemented with the map of Krasnoyarsk Krai
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have prepared and placed a map of Krasnoyarsk Krai on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data". The map has been formed according to OpenStreetMap data, source data were obtained from Geofabrik website. To work with the map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc) and was saved into a packed project (mptz). The MPTZ format project includes a digital map of the region's territory (country, subject of the federation, administrative region), a map of the administrative-territorial division of the region and a digital classifier. Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 02.01.2021 GIS ToolKit provides advanced opportunities for interaction with geoportals
    KB "Panorama" has developed the GIS ToolKit version 13.1.1 for creating GIS applications in the environment of C++ Builder, Delphi Embarcadero. In the new version the possibility has been added for request and display of the data about map objects from geoportals (geoservices) according to the OGC international protocol. The request is executed for a given point of the image. If several layers from different geoportals are open, then the request is made to the current layer specified in the dialog. Information about objects is requested by the geodetic coordinates of a point, transmitted and displayed in the form of an html page.

    In this version a new installer of the GIS ToolKit is presented, in which an automatic customization of paths to GIS core libraries, source codes, setting of Windows environment variables have been added. The new installer, through the use of automatic settings, greatly simplifies the process of installing the GIS ToolKit into the palette of development environment components.

    The GIS ToolKit consists of a set of visual components (supplied in source code) and API functions of the GIS core for direct access to spatial data. The toolkit is intended for the development of client-server and desktop 32-bit and 64-bit applications that require processing and visualization of spatial data. Spatial data can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and in the local network or the Internet (components of access to the GIS Server or data exchange using international protocols are used).
