  • 10.07.2020 KB "Panorama" certified the professional GIS "Panorama" and "Complex of automated interpretation and vectorization of remote sensing data"
    KB "Panorama" received certificates of conformity for software products Geoinformation system "Map 2005 Version 12" (GIS "Panorama x64") and "Complex automated interpretation and vectorization".
    GIS "Panorama x64" contains tools for creation and editing of digital maps and plans of cities, execution of various measurements and calculations, overlay operations, building the 3D models, processing the raster data, tools of preparing graphic documents in a digital and printed form, and also toolkit for work with databases.
    GIS implements a flexible classification system of spatial data, smart conventional symbols; supports the international standards OGС, ISO 19100, IHO, ICAO for an exchange and display of spatial data; uses a database of parameters of national coordinate systems by EPSG code. The program uses common formats for the exchange of spatial data, combines the data from databases and data from open sources, using web-browser protocols. GIS "Panorama x64" includes the professional editor of digital topographical, sea, aeronautical and other maps and plans of cities, "Report designer", "Form Constructor", "GPS\GLONASS Monitor", the task "Automated generalization of topographical maps" (automated creation of small-scale maps by large-scale maps), the block of modes "Preparation for printing" and many others.
    The program provides support for international standards for the display and storage of sea (IHO) and aeronautical (ICAO) data. Display of digital topographical, special maps and plans of cities by tool of the GIS is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Information Cartographic Support of the RF Armed Forces (IKO-2008). Creation and display of the operational situation in the form of special maps is performed in accordance with the Classifier of electronic conventional symbols of the operational situation (KEUZ-2012).
    GIS "Panorama x64" together with the Complex of automated interpretation and vectorization provides a powerful mechanism for processing Earth's remote sensing data (ERS). Complex of automated interpretation and vectorization is used for automatic vectorization of linear and areal objects using panchromatic, color and multispectral images of the earth's surface. In addition to topographic interpretation, the complex allows to perform multispectral classification of Earth's remote sensing data. For these purposes, statistical and texture features are used for any raster channel or virtual channels, calculated by the NDVI formula.
    GIS "Panorama x64" and "Complex of automated interpretation and vectorization" are certified in the certification system of information security tools of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation according to level 2 of the control of the absence of undeclared capabilities according to the guidance document of the State Technical Commission of Russia and according to the real and declared functionality in the documentation. Obtained licenses for the use of the mark of conformity for marking software products provide the KB "Panorama" with the right to manufacture and supply the GIS "Panorama x64" and the "Complex of automated interpretation and vectorization" for the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense.

  • 08.07.2020 In Professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" the new user interface for industrial application in digital cartography has been implemented
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" version 13.4.1 has been developed. In the new version of the program the view of messages for interactive modes is changed. Instead of messages requiring the operator to press a button, pop-up messages have been added informing about the result of the performed action. For example, "Copied to the clipboard: 200 objects" or "The frame for the selected object is not set". An informational or error warning message pops up in the lower right part of the main GIS window and will close after a while. The text of the error message is highlighted in red. All messages are recorded in the "Message Log", which is located in the line at the bottom of the GIS window in the form of a drop-down list. Each record contains the time, text, and title of the message. Viewing the messages log is carried out with a single click on the message line in the status bar of the main window. Each open document has its own list of messages.

    A support of packed MPTZ project has been added. A packed project may include a comprehensive multi-scale representation of the territory in the form of vector maps of different levels of detail, rasters (terrain images) in the rsw format, elevation matrixes and matrixes of qualitative characteristics of the terrain, insets from the same data, the links to data from the GIS Server and from geoportals by various protocols. All data sets are packed into one file of mptz format. Maps and classifiers are compressed in 3-4 times, matrixes are compressed in 3-5 times, rasters are compressed in 3-10 time. Each image of terrain in rsw and a matrix in mtw and mtq contain a pyramid of tiles of 4 levels of data presentation - the most detailed base, generalised in the 1/4 scale, generalised in the 1/16 scale, generalised in the 1/64 scale. When displayed, the closest level of data representation is selected. The project may have images of different levels of detail with overlap and a given range of display scales.

    To create the mptz project, you need to open the corresponding maps, rasters, matrixes, data from GIS Servers and geoportals. Then make settings for display order, visibility borders, palette and other properties. To write to mptz, select the menu item File\Save As\Packed Project. Simultaneously without additional preparation it is possible to open any number of MPTZ projects, covering any territories in the form of a mosaic.

    The use of the MPTZ format allows you to change the system of storage, finishing and application of topographic and geodetic information in federal and regional government bodies, law enforcement agencies, large companies and for individual consumers.

    The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. A new geoportal has been added - monitoring the movement of ships. This geoportal allows you to display real-time data on the location of all ships. To obtain data, an automatic identification system of data (AIS) is used. It allows you to receive data from transponders of ships, satellites and ship monitoring systems (VTS).

    The block of geodesy and cadastral tasks has been improved. The mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" supports the XML-scheme extract_about_zones_v01 - an extract about zone. The list of conventional symbols for displaying cadastral objects characterizing the boundaries of a water object has been expanded.
    A linear object "Water object zone" has been added into the survey.v5.rsc classifier to describe coastlines of reservoirs, large lakes, seas and other water objects, the border of which is not completely described, but in the form of separate fragments.

    Collective use of «Base of cadastral works» of SQLite format was implemented, which contains information about cadastral engineers, contracts on execution of works, customers of cadastral works and other information. In program options the possibility has been added to choose the location of the file «Base of cadastral works» when network access. For convenience of identifying the information in headings of dialogs for working with «Base of cadastral works» the path to the database file is displayed.

    The mode "Editing attributes of a cadastral object" has been improved. The exchange of information about points of the reference boundary network with the dialog "Land Survey plan" has been implemented. In addition to information on the geodetic basis, there is provided an exchange of information about the list of documents used in the preparation of the survey plan and on the initial parts of the land plot. The procedure for obtaining location coordinates by address has been updated, the ability of geocoding the addresses with using the Yandex services has been added. This possibility is supported for users who have a Yandex license API-key.

    The task "Object selection" has been improved. On the "Semantics" bookmark the abilities to sort the table have been expanded. Data can be sorted by code, the name of the semantic characteristic, by the value of the characteristic and in the order established in the classifier for this type of map object. Sorting type can be selected through the "Sort" context menu.
    There is optimized a reading and editing sets of vector maps with a volume of several GB, located on the GIS Server. The speed of data display has been increased, the amount of data transmitted over the network has been reduced.

    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data", the map of the Kingdom of Spain, formed according to OpenStreetMap data, was updated. The source data was obtained from the Geofabrik website. For work with the map it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

    Free maps on the basis of OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the page "Digital maps and images".

  • 03.07.2020 In "Automated workplace of the cadastral engineer" reading information according to the XML-scheme containing an extract about a zone of different purpose has been implemented
    In KB "Panorama" the "Automated workplace of the cadastral engineer" version 13.4 was developed. In the new version, the mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" has been improved. There is implemented a support for the XML scheme used for formation of the XML document - an extract about a zone with special conditions of using the territories, the territorial zone, the territory of the cultural heritage site, the territory of priority social and economic development, the zone of territorial development in the Russian Federation, gambling zone, forestry, forest park, a specially protected natural area, a special economic zone, a hunting ground, a coastline (border of a water object), a land surveying project in electronic form.

    The list of conventional symbols for displaying cadastral objects characterizing the boundaries of a water object has been expanded. A linear object "Water object zone" has been added into the survey.v5.rsc classifier to describe coastlines of reservoirs, large lakes, seas and other water objects, the border of which is not completely described, but in the form of separate fragments. The use of conventional symbols of linear map objects allows you to correctly display open coastlines of water objects that are cadastral registered. The algorithm for reading spatial data of an object of discrete cadastral objects has been updated. If there is information about the radius, the real estate object is created as a point one by the coordinates of the center, and the radius value is written into the semantics of the object.

Simultaneously without additional preparation it is possible to open any number of MPTZ projects, covering any territories in the form of a mosaic.

    The task of thematic mapping has been improved. Automatic calculating the irregular ranges of characteristics values of a thematic map has been added. A thematic map with displaying of quantitative indicators can be built on a map with minimal semantic content, for example, on an OpenStreetMap map. It is enough to select the objects of interest (Pharmacies or Shops) on the map, and in the dialog in the "Coloring by number of objects" mode, by use of the "Filter" button to customize the composition of the administrative territories (urban area, village council). At the end of the composition customization, a statistical analysis is performed, as a result of which the values of the range borders are calculated. This method allows you to minimize manual operations for setting ranges.

    In the "Classifier Editor" task, the possibilities has been improved for import of three-dimensional models from the COLLADA (DAE) format. To optimize the size of loaded model, the following import modes have been added: without changing the original geometry, with removal of all duplicate vertices, removing duplicate vertices, taking into account the illumination along the edges. Import with the removal of vertices can significantly reduce the size of the original model due to the uniqueness of each loaded vertex and face. Vertex duplication in the initial model can occur due to the participation of one vertex in several faces, when a normal is described for each vertex instance. Optimization of models when import accelerates the display of a three-dimensional terrain model.

    In the "Navigator 3D" task, support has been added for the new geoportal "Monitoring the movement of ships" in three-dimensional form. Aircraft and ships on a 3D map are displayed by different types of models, depending on their type, size, capacity. All types of ships are assigned the appropriate three-dimensional models in the service library of three-dimensional symbols. Water vessels are displayed as off-scale models, which allows the user to see them on a small-scale three-dimensional terrain model, and when magnified without significant distortion.
    In addition to displaying real data, you can perform modeling by scenario. In the example data for the Noginsk map, a scenario of moving objects was added - .\scenario\scen_nog.xml, which can be viewed in the "Navigator 3D" task.     The mode "Export of heights matrix to TIFF format" has been improved. In dialog the possibility was added for saving all matrixes of the document into files of TIFF format.

  • 29.06.2020 The portal of open data of the regional geographic information system of the Ryazan region was launched in operating mode
    As part of the software and hardware support of the state information system "Regional Geoinformation System of the Ryazan Region" (RGIS RO), the corresponding geoportal has been launched. RGIS is intended for use in order to obtain reliable spatial information about the Ryazan region, the formation and integration of information resources about its territory, necessary for the exercise of authority and decision-making by public authorities of the Ryazan region.

    The RGIS of the Ryazan region is a combination of software and information resources providing the placement, storage, updating of data coming into the system from various sources, and also their visualization and analysis. RGIS RO uses server and client products included in the register of domestic software.

    The regional geographic information system of the Ryazan Region is built entirely on serial products of KB Panorama and includes the GIS Server, GIS WebService SE, GIS WebServer SE. As desktop applications, Panorama-Editor is used in conjunction with complexes of geodesy calculations and urban-planning tasks.

  • 26.06.2020 In Imagery Creator a speed of creating tiles in formats BIR, GeoPackage, Mbtiles has been increased
    Imagery Creator version 10.1 was developed in KB Panorama for Astra Linux SE operating systems the release "Leningrad" (Elbrus architecture), Astra Linux SE the release "Smolensk", Centos, Ubuntu and Windows. In the new version of the program, the speed of creating and accessing spatial SQLite databases (in BIR, GeoPackage, Mbtiles formats) has been increased due to the formation of index tables. Thus, the process of viewing and working with the data in the GIS "Panorama" 13 has been significantly accelerated. Ability was added to cut tiles by a group of objects whose coordinates are specified in an xml file in GML format. This allows you to form tiles, only onto specified areas. It is possible to create a file in the GIS "Panorama", using the function of export to GML format.

    Possibility has been added of converting the data from a set of tiles into BIR, GeoPackage, Mbtiles and among themselves. For example, from BIR into Mbtiles, GeoPackage or a set of tiles. The program was tested for creating tiles from layers of digital terrain maps with a capacity of more than 1 GB, located on the GIS Server, ensuring high speed and reliability. The interface of administrator was improved.

    The program allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8, Mbtiles, BIR and GeoPackage according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0, the standard TMS and OGC 12-128r15 GeoPackage version 1.2.1. The tile data generated by the Imagery Creator program is used by the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE software products to provide high-speed execution of requests for displaying spatial data to large territories with the simultaneous access of a large number of users.

  • 19.06.2020 KB "Panorama" confirmed the information security of the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer for building GIS applications
    KB "Panorama" received a certificate of conformity for the GIS Constructor software product for Qt Designer, functioning in the operating environments MSVS 5.0 and Astra Linux Special Edition. The toolkit is intended to develop GIS applications using the Qt Designer visual programming environment. The product is implemented in Russian. The software includes dynamic libraries of components for visual and non-visual design of applications in the Qt Designer environment (for Qt 4 and Qt 5), GIS application core libraries and header files for them, digital classifiers and the files of parameters of coordinate system, source texts for test cases in C++ and test data sets, as well as program documentation.
    GIS Constructor for Qt Designer provides functionality for displaying digital vector (topographic, operational situation, sea navigation and others), raster (Earth's remote sensing data) and matrix maps. The software product provides printing of displayed data to various output devices, searching for objects of vector maps by a given set of values of objects attributes (semantic information), geometric parameters (length, area), creating and editing vector maps (drawing, deleting, editing coordinates and attributes of map objects ), performing calculations (recalculating coordinates for various coordinate systems, calculating the area and length of an object, building a profile of heights and visibility area, laying a route along the road graph), and also a building a three-dimensional terrain model.
    Display of digital topographic, special maps and city plans by tools of GIS Constructor is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Information cartographic support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (IKO-2008). The operational situation is displayed in the form of special maps in accordance with the Classifier of digital conventional signs of the operational situation (KEUZ-2012). GIS Constructor for Qt Designer provides the display of Earth's remote sensing data, including data of optical terrain surveys of various resolutions and terrain data. The display of navigational sea maps is provided in accordance with the standard of the International Hydrographic Organization IHO S52.
    The GIS Constructor is certified in the certification system of information protection means of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation according to level 2 of the control of the absence of undeclared capabilities according to the guidance document of the State Technical Commission of Russia and the conformity of real and declared functionality in the documentation.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 9.3.1 is developed. The new version optimizes reading and editing sets of vector maps in volume of several GB, located remotely through a connection to other servers. There is added a support for reading mpt-projects defined as relative paths in the semantics of objects when displaying insets in reports. Data must be located in virtual folders to which the user has access rights. When building a tree of files in a virtual folder, MAPZ and SITZ files are taken into account. Support of packed RSC classifiers with RSCZ extension is added.

    Into the log of working the server there is added the displaying the statistics about server resources - the available number of cores, the amount of RAM, and the percentage of memory used. Diagnostic messages have been expanded when creating and deleting a virtual folder, writing and deleting files in a virtual folder. When searching for the main format of data sets loaded into the Databank, files with the extension "preview.png" are skipped. When registering a user, it is allowed to enter a user name (login) in a different register (in capital or lowercase letters).

    GIS Server is designed to provide remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes, documents and spatial databases of users of software the GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator", GIS WebService SE and others. Users of desktop and web applications on various platforms can simultaneously view and edit data in accordance with access rights.

  • 08.06.2020 Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information analyzes the data on obstacles in the vicinity of the aerodrome and constructs the boundaries of air corridors in accordance with the requirements of FAP-138
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of aeronavigation information version 7.4 for the GIS "Panorama" 13 is developed.
    The new version allows to make the analysis of areas for providing the data on obstacles in the vicinity of the aerodrome, which are created in accordance with the requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation of October 31, 2014 № 305 "On approval of the Procedure for the development and rules for the provision of aeronautical information". The opportunity was realized to build the strips borders of the air approaches in accordance with the requirements of FAP-138, clause 23 and the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 04.05.2018 № 176 "On approval of the Procedure for establishing the borders of the strips of air approaches at civilian aerodromes". Into algorithms of surfaces analysis the possibility has been added to scan a digital terrain (matrix of heights) with the identification of extremums. The function of creating a map of absolute heights is supplemented by a mode of building a map of minimally safe sectors. The function of forming a buffer of waiting areas based on the "Hippodrome" schemes has been implemented. The mode of drawing the scheme of visual landing on a circle with possibility of adding the surfaces of visual landing (VSS) has been improved. Work of converters AIXM and ARINC was improved.

    The complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information is intended for the creating and maintaining a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical maps, the designing of aircraft flight routes and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in the format of ARINC and AIXM 5.1. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the AICM (Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model), with additions for storing planned information and results of designing routes. The model is recommended by the "Eurocontrol" - international organization of planning and coordination of air traffic.

  • 05.06.2020 GIS WebServer SE allows to make maps by the user conventional symbols with use of SLD styles
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 5.5 has been developed for operating systems Astra Linux, Windows, CentOS. In "the Editor of a map" the possibility has been added to customize the graphical view of objects of server layers. Users can define parameters of type of lines and areas: color, transparency, thickness and type of line, choose shadings, fonts and their design for the text. The description of the customized view of the object is saved as an SLD style in accordance with the standards OGC 05-078r4 v.1.1.0 and OGC 02-070 v.1.0.0 - SLD (Styled Layer Descriptor). Use of SLD styles when editing allows you to create objects on the map whose view does not depend on the classifier of the map. Possibilities of measurements in 3D map were expanded, distance calculation between points according to the relief of the 3D model has been added. The total path length, length and azimuth of each of its individual sections are calculated. Waypoints are displayed on the map and can be moved or deleted by the user. When the path changes, the calculation of measurements is automatically updated. Searches in the map can now be performed only for visible objects. When selecting objects according to the search criterion, the filter for displaying objects set according to the legend of the layer is additionally taken into account. The customized filters of displaying objects are saved between sessions of the user.


    In the new version, the GIS WebToolKit SE Web application development toolkit is enhanced, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps, and terrain information) is provided by Web services using generally accepted OGC protocols and ISO standards. The GIS WebService SE service (OGC WMS / WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As a digital elevation model, various types of elevation data are used: matrixes (in SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW formats), TIN-models, point cloud and others. The service provides the ability to publish three-dimensional terrain models unloaded in DB3D format. These models can be obtained from files of the COLLADA type, as well as from photorealistic three-dimensional models of unlimited size (TLS, OC3).
    As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data can be used. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, and the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.
    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

  • 03.06.2020 GIS Panorama Mini is adapted to new sources and formats of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Panorama Mini version 13.3.0 for the x64 platform is developed . The new version of the program adds the ability of direct connection to large spatial databases containing millions of records for display and editing in the form of vector maps in cartographic conventional symbols. Direct editing of database records with fields of various types containing the coordinates of objects is provided. Fields of spatial description of objects for DBMS PostgreSQL with expansion PostGIS, DBMS Oracle with expansions Oracle Spatial and ArcSDE are supported. Fields of spatial description of objects for PostgreSQL DBMS with PostGIS extension, Oracle DBMS with Oracle Spatial and ArcSDE extensions are supported.
    The program allows to edit simultaneously contents of the databases connected directly and through the GIS Server, to carry out an information exchange between various databases, to agree coordinates and attributes of objects in different databases, jointly to display in the form of graphic layers the information from different databases, to combine the data with images, matrixes of heights, vector maps and the data from various geoportals and web-services.
    Tools of connecting to databases in the GIS duplicate the capabilities of the GIS Server and the Spatial DB Service, but can be used in individual work. It is advisable to perform collective access to display and edit databases in the form of vector maps through the GIS Server.
    Support for the RSCZ format - an RSC classifier file packed into a zip archive has been implemented. The volume of the stored file is reduced on average by 4-5 times without loss of data opening speed. RSC classifiers can be replaced at any time with packed files with the rscz extension. At opening a vector map, the GIS checks the presence of classifiers with extension rsc and rscz. The packed classifiers open only for reading.
    At maps sorting with compression into MAPZ\SITZ format, the RCS classifier is compressed and recorded together with a map. Into one file MAPZ the works region from several thousand sheets with the classifier can be written down, that simplifies an exchange and application of vector maps.
    In the "Classifier Editor" for the dialogs "Search of objects" and "Filter of objects" the ability was added to use a filter by layers, types, keys, codes and other characteristics of objects. The bookmark "Properties" has been added, which allows you to select objects that use in conventional symbols the certain colors, having specified semantic characteristics, which are assigned a 3D view and by other properties.
    In the "Map Editor" the possibility has been added to enter point signs from the keyboard by the list together with semantics of objects. For this purpose in the "Create object" dialog, the method of creating the object is selected - "Creation from the keyboard". In the table for entering coordinates, you can enter the coordinates of any number of point objects. When the "Show object semantics" property is enabled, columns with the names of possible object semantics will appear next to the columns of coordinates points. After filling the table and clicking the "Save to Map" button, the point signs will be put together with their semantics.
    The interface of the Map Legend task (F11) has been updated, changing the contents of displayed objects for all maps with one classifier is provided when the property "Set a model for maps with a common classifier" is enabled. Autoupdating the state of the objects tree has been added when changing the composition of displayed objects from other dialogs and tasks.
    The list of parameters in the command line for starting the GIS has been expanded. The following options are supported: /e - open the Map Editor, /n - open the 3D Navigator, /h - do not open the maps that remained open in the last session, /d - open the diagnostic protocol, /1 - do not start the second GIS instance, /a - open the map atlas, /u - register the client on the GIS Server.
    The restriction on degree of increase in the image of rasters and matrixes is excluded. Rasters and matrixes which were drawn up to scale 1:10, are drawn now without restriction of increase of the picture.

  • 01.06.2020 The urban-planning system the "Panorama GRAD" was presented at the scientific and technical conference MIIGAiK
    In the period from May 25 to May 27, 2020, the International scientific and technical online conference "Spatial Data in the Context of Digital Transformation" was held online, dedicated to the 241st anniversary of the founding of Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK).
    At the conference, KB Panorama was presented by the project manager Alexander Kirichenko with a report on the topic "Urban-planning geoinformation system "Panorama GRAD". The report highlighted the current problem of the impossibility of efficient development of territories and the formation of a comfortable living environment without the introduction of an urban planning system. "Panorama GRAD" software combines the technologies of systematic data storage, automated preparation of documentation, maintaining ISOGD and analytical tools to support the adoption of managerial decisions by authorities and municipal authorities.
    The implementation of the urban planning system allows creating a unified environment for working with spatial data and documentation, increases the level of interagency cooperation, and also improves the speed and quality of public electronic services. Heads of organizations get quick access to always up-to-date information on urban-planning activity, as well as additional means of monitoring the work of departments.
    In total, the conference held 8 thematic sections in priority research areas, in which leading Russian and foreign scientists, experts, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as representatives of the business community took part.

  • 20.05.2020 Training and presentation materials about possibilities of GIS WebServer SE for creating geoportals has been prepared
    In KB "Panorama" the presentation "GIS WebServer SE - professional GIS for constructing geoportals of various purposes" has been prepared. Today, spatial data are used in any field of activity: communication and education, urban planning and nature management, mining operations and transportation. GIS WebServer SE is a geographic information system whose users can remotely view, edit and analyze spatial data using Web browsers. The system has an open code and provides the ability to configure and use geoportals for various purposes, where on the maps you can display the territorial divisions of the company, accounting facilities, location of operating facilities, traffic routes and other information.
    GIS WebServer SE performs data exchange with the server software products of KB "Panorama" and external geosystems through a software interface. The map image is formed from various sources and according to various exchange protocols and has a multilayer structure. Users of system can publish their own layers of data, customize their display and use the customized GIS-toolkit for operations on an interactive map.
    GIS WebServer SE works together with cartographical service the GIS WebService SE, applying its wide opportunities for publishing, using and storing data. The application has interfaces for users and for system administrators. The interface of the user contains controls by an interactive map and a variety of tools for working with spatial data.
    The following features are available to users: controlling a map, scaling, image movement, managing the content of visible map layers and visible objects of a layer, management of a sequence and a transparency of layers; obtaining the attributive information about map objects, various types of searching for objects in the map; remote editing of attributes and geometry of objects, creation, removal of map objects (if authorized); 3D map visualisation, display of complex and realistic 3D terrain models, execution of calculations on a map; registration of the main actions of users and administrators when working with the system in a log. The automatic authentication of users of the appendix authorised by means of safety of an operating system or means of the Web-server is provided.
    The interface of GIS WebServer SЕ administrators implements the functions of customization and management of system: management of groups and users of system; customizing privileges of users groups for using data and allowed actions in the system; map project management: setting up data contents and tools for data processing and analysis; logging work.

  • 08.05.2020 GIS WebServer SE increases the security of using the geospatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 5.4 has been developed for operating systems Astra Linux, Windows, CentOS. In the new version, the data protection tools are expanded - a support was added for authorized access to data layers hosted on servers with PAM authentication. At the beginning of the session, the user must undergo additional authentication of the web server in order to obtain privileges for receiving geodata. Managing the contents of displayed objects in wms-layers has been added. To control the contents of the display, a filter by the keys of xsd-scheme objects is used. The filter is formed according to the legend of the map layer in the "Layers" tool. In the "Map Editor" a customizing the list of objects in the "View" panel appeared. It allows you to display a shortened list of layer objects using a filter by object type, code, and type of map object. Lists are saved between user sessions. Possibility to place map controls in the side panel is added. The side panel is located to the left of the map and provides a convenient interface at management of tools. In a 3D map, it has become possible to measure distances and difference of heights between two points of a three-dimensional model. Into the administration module a customization of parameters for data acquisition from servers with check of authenticity PAM has been added.

    In the new version the toolkit of working out of Web-appendices GIS WebToolKit SE which expands possibilities GIS WebServer SE is finished and can be built in other information systems. Access to the data (to pictures, vector maps and the information on a lay of land) is given by Web-services under the standard reports OGC and standards ISO. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) gives the spatial information in the form of graphic representations. As digital model of a relief various kinds of the high-rise data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. Cервис gives possibility of the publication of three-dimensional models of the district unloaded in format DB3D. The given models can be received from files of type COLLADA, and also from photorealistic three-dimensional models beyond all bounds the big size (TLS, OC3).

  • 07.05.2020 Training and presentation materials on the use of GIS "Panorama" in urban planning were published
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared a presentation "Use of GIS "Panorama" in urban planning activity". It presents the city-planning geo-information system "Panorama GRAD", which combines the technology of automated preparing documentation and analytical tools to support the adoption of managerial decisions of municipalities and public authorities regarding the development of territories and the formation of a comfortable living environment. The system is built on the basis of geographic information technologies, which provides automated preparation of maps and plans, geo-referencing of documents to the map and a visual displaying the current situation of urban development.

    The introduction of "Panorama GRAD" allows municipalities and public authorities to organize a unified environment for working with spatial data, attributive information and electronic documents. Due to the maintenance of automated ISOGD and systematized databases and information on urban development activities, employees of the municipality will always be provided with reliable information about the current state of the managed territories. The system allows you to publish open data on the Internet using the geoportal, which also helps to receive applications for obtaining the information from ISOGD. In the desktop application the GIS "Panorama" system allows you to generate territorial planning documents and all types of urban planning documentation: urban development plan of a land plot, building permit, and others. System's tools provide maintenance of accounting registers: register of land plots, objects of capital construction and others.

    "Panorama GRAD" is integrated with any information system of a city or region, which improves the quality of interagency cooperation, as well as the speed and level of service.   • 06.05.2020 In "Workstation of agronomist" tools of inventory and monitoring of agricultural land are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 13.2.0 has been developed. In the new version the technology of inventory and monitoring of agricultural land is implemented. It is intended for the specifying and displaying on a digital map of agricultural land, land reclamation objects, road network, buildings and structures, as well as land boundaries in the context of land users. To set the boundaries of land use, "Workstation of the agronomist" is supplemented with new modes "Create multipolygon", "Filling the report under the metrics of object" and "Copy objects to another map". The creation of multipolygons provides for the formation of multi-contour land uses consisting of several external and internal polygons - subobjects. Using this mode, one object can be formed including all the contours of one crop rotation field or land belonging to one land user.

    "Workstation of agronomist" is integrated with the satellite monitoring service of Geosys company, which provides remote processing and analysis of large volumes of images posted on servers in the data cloud of various space data operators. Based on the results of queries, matrixes of vegetation indices and zoning maps are generated. Sorting data by measurement time allows you to build a slice of information about the condition of crops, vegetation of crops, heterogeneity of arable land and other indicators of land use. Using visualization tools, you can view matrixes of various indicators and graphs of their changes. The storage and processing of matrixes and time series for agrochemical indicators, vegetation indices, crop yields, phytosanitary indicators, meteorological data and other monitoring indicators is supported.

    The technology provides the use for the inventory of data of operational space shooting of Earth's remote sensing satellites in combination with materials of shooting from unmanned aerial vehicles. The refined dialog "Select Object" provides an operational update of the object metrics from file formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON. To speed up the viewing of information from the semantics of objects, a new method has been added for selecting areal objects on the map, which ensures the selection of the desired object according to its contour, without enumerating all the objects at the map point. The task "Search by name" has been improved, the ability of searching and marking the objects by a list of lines that partially or fully match the value of a specified semantics or title text has been added. The list of lines can be loaded from a text file, pasted from the clipboard, or entered in the corresponding dialog box. The restriction on the text size of a multi-line title on the map is excluded.

  • 04.05.2020 Map of Kyrgyz Republic has been updated on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data"
    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data", the map of the Kyrgyz Republic, formed according to OpenStreetMap data, was updated. The source data was obtained from the Geofabrik website. For work with the map it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 30.04.2020 GIS WebService SE dynamically generates tiles based on international OGC standards using SLD styles and filters
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.3.1 has been developed. The new version adds support for international standards OGC 05-078r4 v.1.1.0 and OGC 02-070 v.1.0.0 - SLD (Styled Layer Descriptor). SLD styles allow you to dynamically change the image for a specific user without changing the classifier. Filters and styles of objects can be applied in requests on thematic mapping. Styles can be preloaded onto the service and attached to a specific layer or can be sent in a request. It is possible to display the same object in different ways, using the preset styles or sending your own. To each type of object specified by the key, its own SLD scheme can be assigned. The layer structure can be obtained using the DescribeFeatureType query. The transfer of the SLD scheme in the request for the creation of an object allows you to create graphic objects on the map, the symbol of which does not depend on the map classifier. The service also allows you to issue a graphical description of the objects (external view) in accordance with the SLD or in the format for Leaflet.

    Support of international standard OGC 09-026r1 and ISO/DIS 19143 v.2.0 is implemented. This standard allows you to select objects according to the conditions specified in the request. For service's work in accordance with this specification the filter of objects is attached to the GetFeature request using the POST method. Support for the POST method for international standards OGC WMS and OGC WFS has been added. This will simplify the process of integrating the service with third-party software.

    Possibility of gathering and displaying the statistical information about work of the service is added. For example, you can request the number of requests processed by the service per second, per minute, per hour; number of erroneous requests; the number of requests with a long processing time; average, minimum and maximum execution time of the selected request. The service groups the requests by types in accordance with the documentation (overlay operations, service operations, and others). The program allows you to display statistics for each group separately. In addition, you can display a list of active users and a list of active data. The administrator can monitor the load on the service and view its current status. Reliability of working the service is improved at occurrence of critical situations. Possibility of saving a stack of procedure call and current requests is added at abnormal termination of service's work.

    Possibilities of work with 3D map are expanded. A new type of service has been added - Layers3D. This type combines all the possibilities of working with a three-dimensional terrain model and allows you to perform new requests. The list of displayed service types in the GetLayers request has been expanded. Support for scenarios of moving objects was added. The service allows issuing scripts for objects in the XML and JSON format, and also the trajectories of the objects movement. Using scripts, it is possible to simulate the movement of objects on a map. Support of maps in format SITZ has been implemented. New parameters for GetFeature requests have been added - do not display the value of heights, hide the output of metadata about the layer.

    GIS WebServiсe SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), with the help of which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program implements the ability to issue tiles on any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 29.04.2020 GIS Panorama Mini with the interface in Russian, English, French, Spanish, Vietnamese, Kazakh and Chinese languages has been developed
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Panorama Mini version 13.2.0 for the x64 platform was developed. The new version of the program is implemented in Russian, English, French, Spanish, Vietnamese, Kazakh and Chinese languages. GIS Panorama Mini provides creation and editing of digital maps and plans of cities, viewing of remote sensing data, processing of the raster data, interaction with databases, contains tools of preparing graphic documents in a digital and printed form. The multiuser work with the data with access control through connection to the GIS Server is supported.

    In the new version of the program the display of geoportals is significantly accelerated. Support of popular geoportals allows you to display user maps on top of images received from the sites OpenStreetMap (Map), Yandex (Satellite), Yandex (Map), Rosreestr, Kosmosnimki, Monitoring aircraft movements and others. The list of available geoportals is constantly expanding. Controlling the transparency, brightness and contrast of the image of the connected geoportal significantly increases the visibility and readability of the document formed by heterogeneous geospatial data.

    Modes of editing vector maps of different projections combined in one document are improved. The program provides creation of simple objects and objects with subobjects; creation of objects by the type of selected one from the panel of breadboard models of created objects; creating, deleting and moving points of the contour of the object; moving and turn of objects; drawing of simple lines and polygons; input of multi-line texts of titles and values of attributes in UNICODE encoding.

    Tools are improved for the preparation and printing of complex reports, including maps, graphics, multi-line text with various attributes, embedded office documents and tables, "out-of-frame" bordering, coordinate grids and other elements. The program provides printing of electronic maps on various output devices and output into PostScript. A preview of the document prepared for printing allows you to quickly customize options of printing the small runs of maps.

    New types of objects semantics are added: semantics the numerical formula and semantics the symbolical formula. New types complement the programmable semantics the formula, the value of which is calculated in the connected iml-libraries. For new types of computed semantics, mathematical or logical expressions are defined that are executed without programming. For the numerical formula in semantics description the mathematical expression (formula) is indicated that contains numbers, mathematical operations, links to the values of semantics of object, its area, perimetre, coordinates of the first point in meters or degrees, coordinates of the geometrical center of object and other properties. For example, the following operations can be used as mathematical operations: +, -, *, /, max, min, arm, sin, cos, tg, ctg, abs, sqrt2, sqrt3, pow2, pow3.

    To insert the semantics value into the formula, the symbol # is indicated behind which there is a code of semantics and in brackets a value by default is contained. For example, # 1 (10) - take the value of semantics 1, if the object does not have semantics with code 1, take the value 10.

    When editing the coordinates or semantics of an object, the values of semantic formulas are automatically recalculated. The choice of type of semantics and entering of formulas is carried out in the task the Classifier Editor. The dialog "Select Object" has been improved. On the bookmark "Metrics" the possibility of updating of object from files of formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON is added. You can update an object or only its metric through the items in the context menu "Update object metric" or "Update object".

    The task "Search by name" has been improved. Possibility of line-by-line search or text marking by full (partial) coincidence is added. Multiline text can be loaded from a text file, pasted from a buffer, or entered in the appropriate field. For example, the mode allows you to select on the map all objects containing in the semantics of "Name" one of the lines of a multi-line list.

    The restriction on the size of a multi-line title on the map is excluded. When a line longer than 126 characters is entered in the "Label editing" dialog, an service record with code 32860 with the entered text is created in the semantics of the object, and the link "# 32860" is saved in the label text. When editing text, an automatic updating the text of label and semantics is carried out. If the text becomes shorter than 126 characters, the service semantics will be deleted.

    A new way of a choice of square objects on a map - only on the object contour is added. The main mode of the object choice is the mouse-click inside the object or along its contour. This mode complicates the enumeration of objects if in one point there is a large number of areal objects. For example, areal objects of territories are displayed in the following order: City - District - Region. The choice of objects is performed in the reverse order: Region - District - City. With the main mode of a choice the city territory will be chosen only from the third time. At a choice of the areal object on the contour the city territory can be chosen from the first time. Customizing the mode of a choosing the areal objects is carried out through the main menu of the program: Options\Square objects choice on the contour.

  • 27.04.2020 In the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data the level of automation of control over completeness and integrity of metadata and publications of geospatial data has been increased
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data version 5.2.0 is developed. In the new version there is added a control of scheme of data sets presence - links of different data sets to one object on the scheme are automatically corrected. When loading maps, images and matrixes the metadata fields "Data Type" and "Security" can be set at the moment of loading the data sets. At filling the metadata at the moment of loading, the classification codes of directories are used. The use of classification codes facilitates further data exchange between several copies of the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data. Possibility is added to publish packaged vector maps MAPZ and SITZ. The packed maps are opened read-only. The volume of packed maps and data transmitted over the network is 3 times less than unpacked ones.

    The time zone analysis is added at search and display of data. The date of placing into storehouse is recorded for zero time zone (without displacement). When it is displayed, an automatic recount takes into account the time zone of the server. The mechanism of creating the database backups is optimised. When creating a backup, a log file is automatically created, which is located next to the backup.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator"GIS "Operator"). The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud warehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file warehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

  • 25.04.2020 GIS Server version 9 with the interface in Russian, English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese languages has been developed
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 9 has been developed. New version of the program is implemented in Russian, English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese. In the program a support is added for packed vector maps MAPZ and SITZ. The packed maps are opened read-only. The volume of packed maps and data transmitted over the network is 3 times less than unpacked ones. The new version increases the speed and reliability of query execution when interacting with the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Diagnostics has been expanded in case of error in generating an overview image of the SXF file when writing into the Databank. Speed of processing files of SXF format doubled. When monitoring the data availability scheme in the Data Bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data, deleted objects referenced in the table are automatically restored and updated.

    There is added a support for links in map objects onto maps in a subdirectory of the main map. It provides automation of preparing the reports containing inserts of other maps. To do this, all maps must be placed in a virtual folder to which the client has access.
    Ability is added in the GIS Administrator to connect a shared virtual folder for vector maps, rasters and matrices. Diagnostic print messages were updated. The reliability of multi-channel connections with GIS Server clients has been improved. The algorithm of processing failed connections for an exception of server blocking was changed. Connection of large spatial databases displayed and edited in the form of vector maps in conventional symbols has been improved. Loading of the databases, containing tens of millions of records is accelerated. Reliability of updating records on the client is improved when editing objects.

    Transfer of a frame of data sets on the scheme of materials availability in the range - / + 180 degrees in latitude is added. The algorithm for clients requesting large lists of objects updated on the server has been improved. Ability is implemented to build vector geocovers of sea maps of the S57 format, raster geocovers from the IMG, PCX formats. Restoration from backup copies of data sets is improved at failure on storage devices.
    Tools of loading the pyramids of tiles of formats BIR and GPKG were updated. There is added a support for loading pyramids of tiles of 3D model in DB3D format stored in the SQLite database. GIS Server automatically reads metadata from the database to determine the dimensions, EPSG code and other attributes of the model.
    There is added a processing of metadata in files with the extension ".json" or ".geojson" containing the coordinates of the areas of terrain survey and other information about remote sensing data.

    The program has added tools for monitoring the integrity of the installation after installation. The program includes a checkcontents.xml file containing a list of installation files with an indication of the size and checksum using the "CRC32" algorithm. At the start of the GIS Server, the installation integrity is automatically checked and the verification result is recorded into the program operation log.
    In GIS Server the composition of automated procedures for processing spatial data on the server has been expanded. They perform various types of quality control of digital vector terrain maps and correction of errors.
    The procedure of quality control of digital maps, like other procedures, can be called remotely from desktop or web applications. The GIS Server includes a set of classifiers of RSC format and control schemes for digital topographic maps of scales from 1:25 000 to 1: 1 000 000.
    The composition of classifiers and control schemes for the xml format can be customized by tools of GIS "Panorama" and other desktop applications. Possibility is added for publishing the packed pyramids of tiles in formats BIR, MBTILES, based on SQLite database. Pyramids of tiles can be created in the Imagery Creator program, including in the environment of the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data, on the vector maps, remote sensing data and matrixes of elevations and objects of terrain.


    Support for displaying and editing vector maps hosted on a server larger than 4 GB is implemented. The connection of the GIS Server to other servers is supported to gain access to remote data through several connections. Means of monitoring the state of the GIS Server in the web were added to view a list of active users and open data, remotely view the program’s log.

    The program improves the productivity and reliability of operations of editing spatial database under high load on multi-core servers. Testing of working the GIS Server program with PostgreSQL DBMS in interaction with GIS WebService SE and GIS WebServer SE was made when connecting several thousand web clients and executing up to 500 queries per second. The database can be simultaneously edited by external applications and through the graphical interface of the programs GIS WebServer SE, GIS "Panorama". The GIS Server automatically monitors all changes and synchronizes the state of the data, which allows the GIS WebService SE to issue up-to-date graphic images upon OGC WMS requests.

    The new version provides complete management of spatial databases of arbitrary structure. Direct editing of database records with fields of various types containing the coordinates of objects has been implemented. There are supported the fields of spatial description of objects for Oracle DBMS, and PostgreSQL - SDO_GEOMETRY, St_Geometry ArcSDE, St_Geometry PostGIS. Parameters of connecting to databases, the coordinate system code, the symbol library and the purpose of the table fields are customized by the GIS Server Administrator.

    GIS Server automates the creation of backup copies of data sets into the Databank of digital map and remote sensing data, monitoring the integrity of data sets and their recovery. One or two backup copies of data sets loaded into the Data Bank are automatically created with distributed storage of backup copies for different data groups. In the control procedure of metadata of the data bank, a check has been added for the availability of backup copies in accordance with the group settings. In the absence of the first or second backup copies, automatic formation of a copy of the main data set and auxiliary files (the classifiers, metadata, images and others) is carried out. Automatic recovery of data sets is provided in the presence of two identical backups in the Databank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data.

    The program has improved the tools of publishing information from spatial databases managed by Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and others. Possibility has been added to set the conventional symbols of objects of a database by the alphanumeric code stored in a separate field of the database table. Alphanumeric code is the analogue of a classification integer code and also is used for coding the conventional symbols of objects. In the Classifier Editor of GIS "Panorama", you can enter not only digital codes, but also arbitrary lines in national languages (alphanumeric code). Its main purpose is to establish the mutual correspondence of the conventional symbols of objects on digital maps and a combination of the values of the objects attributes, including code, in databases and other sources of information.

    In KB "Panorama" the tools of GIS ToolKit version 13.0.4 is developed for creation of GIS-applications in the environment of C ++ Builder, Delphi Embarcadero. In the new version the possibilities are expanded for analysis of spatial data on the basis of use of the cartographical schemes, programmable semantics (attributes) of map objects, an updating the spatial data with use of the international formats.
    GIS ToolKit allows to display the cartographical schemes created in the GIS "Panorama". Cartographical schemes can contain insets of maps of various scales and territories, inserts of images and texts. New types of objects semantics are added: semantics the numerical formula and semantics the symbolical formula. New types complement the programmable semantics the formula, the value of which is calculated in the connected iml-libraries.     For a symbolic formula, in the semantics description, a string template is specified containing one or more links to semantics of an object of the form #XX (YY), where XX is the semantics code, YY is the value of the semantic characteristic if it is absent. For example: #101(5)storey building\#3(RESIDENTIAL) - take from the object the value of semantics with code 101, if not, the value 5 will be assigned, add the symbols "storey building" and the following semantics with code 3, the default value is "RESIDENTIAL".

    The symbolical formula supports special characters for code recording of values, the same as for the formation of the title text. For example, #XX.*(Z^P), where #XX is the digital code of semantics (from 1 to 65535), * is an indication of accuracy (from 0 to 9), reduction of the value (s) or line break (w), Z is the default value, P is the string formatting options (^P1^P2^P3...). For example: X=#32205.3 Y=#32206.3 H=#32207.3(0) - form a coordinate line with an accuracy of the 3rd sign from the service semantics; #46!1()(#11!1())#55.s() - form a reference designation for the road, including the width of the coating, the total width, the designation of the coating material. When editing the coordinates or semantics of an object, the values of semantic formulas are automatically recalculated. The choice of type of semantics and entering of formulas is carried out in the task the Classifier Editor, which is available through the TMapRsc component.

    The updated "Select Object" dialog allows you to update the coordinates of an object from file formats: SHP / DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON. The dialog is accessible through the TMapObj component.
    The toolkit consists of a set of visual components (supplied in the source texts) and API functions of the GIS core for direct access to spatial data. The toolkit is designed to develop the client-server and desktop 32-bit and 64-bit applications that require processing and visualization of spatial data. Spatial data can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and on a local network or the Internet (access components to the GIS Server or data exchange using international protocols are used).

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 13.2.0 is developed for the x64 platform. In the new version of program the classifiers of conventional symbols emercom.v2.rsc, rosgvardia.rsc, map5000m.rsc, s57navy.rsc, dfc.rsc and others have been updated.

    Classifier of conventional signs emercom.v2.rsc has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the governing documents of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (GOST R 22.0.10-96) for the preparation of cartographic information in the field of civil defense (CD), prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies by governing bodies, civil defense forces and the unified state system for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations (RSChS). The emercom.v2.rsc classifier contains the information: about territories, zones, objects, forces and means affecting the problems of organization, planning and conduct of measures for civil defense and the protection of the population and territories; about the forecast and operational situation arising in the course of military conflicts or as a result of these conflicts, as well as during emergencies of a natural and man-made nature; about planning and conducting activities on civil defense, prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies of a natural and man-made character.

    The rosgvardia.rsc classifier of conventional symbols was developed for the FederalNational Guard Troops Service of the Russian Federation and is intended for the preparation of cartographic information on planning and conducting the fight against terrorism and extremism, organized crime, ensuring state security, protecting important state objects, and also maintaining order at public events. The operator.rsc classifier provides the preparation of special maps for all types and branches of the RF Armed Forces. Algorithms are refined for displaying complex conventional symbols: direction of impact, control points and others.

    The modernized classifier of large-scale plans of a scale 1: 5 000 the map5000m.rsc is designed to create topographic plans of cities or city plans in the local coordinate system of scales of 1: 5000, which can be used in territorial planning, maintaining the land and property cadastre, in architecture and urban planning. The codes of the Information Cartographic Support approved by the Head of the VTU General Staff of the Russian Federation are taken as the basis of object codes.

    The s57navy.rsc classifier is designed for maintaining navigational maps of the IHO S52 standard. The dfc.rsc classifier is used to prepare aeronautical documents that are used in planning the airspace structure, for laying and studying the flight route, navigational flight calculations, visual radar orientation, designing aerodrome routes and determining navigational flight parameters. The classifier contains the description of layers, objects and their characteristics providing representation in a digital form of information on the structure of airspace - air traffic services (ATS), airspace restriction, enroutes, turning points and radio navigation aids, aerodrome networks and obstacles. The dfc.rsc classifier has been prepared taking into account the recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO): “Guide to Air Navigation Maps”, Doc 8697-AN/889/2, Appendix 4 "Air Navigation Maps".

    Into the GIS "Operator" the new types of objects semantics are added: semantics the numerical formula and semantics the symbolical formula. New types complement the programmable semantics the formula, the value of which is calculated in the connected iml-libraries. For new types of computed semantics, mathematical or logical expressions are defined that are executed without programming. For the numerical formula in semantics description the mathematical expression (formula) is indicated that contains numbers, mathematical operations, links to the values of semantics of object, its area, perimetre, coordinates of the first point in meters or degrees, coordinates of the geometrical center of object and other properties. For example, the following operations can be used as mathematical operations: +, -, *, /, max, min, arm, sin, cos, tg, ctg, abs, sqrt2, sqrt3, pow2, pow3.
    For a symbolic formula, in the semantics description, a string template is specified containing one or more links to semantics of an object of the form #XX (YY), where XX is the semantics code, YY is the value of the semantic characteristic if it is absent. The symbolical formula supports special characters for code recording of values, the same as for the formation of the title text. When editing the coordinates or semantics of an object, the values of semantic formulas are automatically recalculated. The choice of type of semantics and entering of formulas is carried out in the task the Classifier Editor.

    In the "Preparing for printing" section of the list of applications, the "Report Designer" application has been added for quick creation of graphic documents using maps insets and image insets. The wizard for creating a new project allows by "one-click" to form a template of graphic document with ready-made layout and footers (headers, corner stamps and other elements). Modes for drawing maps insets and images inserts, editing content, positioning and scaling images inside the insets make it easy to create visual and informative graphic documents. The creation of new and an editing of existing templates is supported for their further replication when creating new graphic documents. The dimensions of the printed fields of created document are automatically transferred to the print dialog, which allows you to quickly print a document without selecting a printable area and setting indents.

    The dialog "Select Object" has been improved. On the bookmark "Metrics" the possibility of updating of object from files of formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON is added. You can update an object or only its metric through the items in the context menu "Update object metric" or "Update object".

    A new way of a choice of square objects on a map - only on the object contour is added. The main mode of the object choice is the mouse-click inside the object or along its contour. This mode complicates the enumeration of objects if in one point there is a large number of areal objects. For example, areal objects of territories are displayed in the following order: City - District - Region. The choice of objects is performed in the reverse order: Region - District - City. With the main mode of a choice the city territory will be chosen only from the third time. At a choice of the areal object on the contour the city territory can be chosen from the first time. Customizing the mode of a choosing the areal objects is carried out through the main menu of the program:Options\Square objects choice on the contour.

    The task "Search by name" has been improved. Possibility of line-by-line search or text marking by full (partial) coincidence is added. Multiline text can be loaded from a text file, pasted from a buffer, or entered in the appropriate field. For example, the mode allows you to select on the map all objects containing in the semantics of "Name" one of the lines of a multi-line list.

    The restriction on the size of a multi-line title on the map is excluded. When a line longer than 126 characters is entered in the "Label editing" dialog, an service record with code 32860 with the entered text is created in the semantics of the object, and the link "# 32860" is saved in the label text. When editing text, an automatic updating the text of label and semantics is carried out. If the text becomes shorter than 126 characters, the service semantics will be deleted.

  • 22.04.2020 Map of Administrative-territorial division of Russia has been updated
    In KB "Panorama" the digital map of Administrative-territorial division of Russia in SXF format has been updated. The map was formed according to OpenStreetMap data from the Geofabrik website. It contains territories of federal districts, constituent territories of the Russian Federation and administrative regions. Total number of objects - 26 873.

    OKATO codes correspond to the data of Rosstat and FIAS. The map can be used to analyze and evaluate the territory of the Russian Federation and its constituent territories, assess the extent of borders and as a basis for creating thematic and special maps.

    To work with the received map, you can use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama". Free maps based on OpenStreetMap data are available for download on the "Digital maps" page.

  • 21.04.2020 The new "Report Designer" module in the GIS "Panorama" simplifies the creation of professional cartographic schemes of various sizes
    Into the GIS "Panorama" 13 the application - "Report Designer" has been added. It allows you to create cartographic schemes of various formats (A4 - A0) with elements of professional design: background map, inset of general or detailed maps of various sizes, a map legend, text labels, additional images. A set of specialized modes is arranged into a separate toolbar. The wizard for creating a new project allows by "one-click" to form a template of graphic document with ready-made layout and footers (headers, corner stamps and other elements). Modes for drawing maps insets and images inserts, editing content, positioning and scaling images inside the insets facilitate creation of visual and informative cartographic schemes for their subsequent printing or formation of graphic images in various formats.

    The program supports the creation of new and editing existing templates for their further replication. The dimensions of the printed fields of the created document are automatically transferred to the print dialog. This allows you to quickly print a document without selecting a printable area, setting the margins and scale.

  • 20.04.2020 In the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" the reading of the cadastral extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate about the building is implemented
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of cadastral engineer" version 13.2 is developed. In the new version, the mode "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" has been improved. There is implemented a support for cadastral extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate about the building according to the extract_about_property_build_v01 scheme used in information interaction.
    At reading the data of XML-schemes used for formation of the XML-document - the extracts from the Unified State Register of Real Estate about the object of real estate in the electronic form, a processing of data on cadastral numbers of plots on which the building is located, cadastral numbers of premises and the parking spaces located in a building is implemented. An algorithm has been developed for reading and storing information about parts of the building. In an XML document, the location of a part of the building can be described either in the form of coordinates or in text form with links to images of floor plans. The program supports both options for describing the location of a part of the building. For the parts having a spatial component, the areal objects - building's parts are put onto a map. For the parts of a building which do not have the descriptions in the form of coordinates, the point object - a conditional part of a building is put onto a map. The coordinates of the conditional part are calculated according to the coordinates of the building, in the form of its center. In addition, into semantics of conditional parts of a building, information about an arrangement of a part within a building or on the floor plan is recorded. To store new information about the building and its parts, corrections were made in the survey.v5.rsc classifier.

    The procedure for working with dialogs for entering and editing a structured address (location description) has been changed. The "Get Address" button which used information from the database in the CLADR structure was removed. Now the address database in the FIAS structure is used. To obtain an address from a new address base, the "FIAS Address" button is used, which call a new dialog for selecting elements of a structured address. In the address database according to the FIAS structure, directories of types of address elements are not used, but simple strings are used to describe geonyms. The same version of the describing the types of address elements is set in the _AddressInp_v09.xsd scheme used in the formation of technical plans. To support the _AddressInp_v05.xsd scheme used in the preparation of the land survey plan, the map (plan) of the land management object and other cadastral documents using the directories of address element types, functions have been added for synchronizing type values from the FIAS address database with outdated directories.

    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" version 13.2.0 for the x64 platform is developed. The new version of the program accelerated the tools of automated quality control of digital topographic maps with automatic error correction. Methods for analyzing the correspondence of the object content of topographic maps have been improved, digital classifiers have been updated, and generalization procedure parameters have been prepared for scales of 1: 25,000 - 1: 1,000,000.

    There are added the functions of verifying the symbolic values of types coming from the FIAS address database for comparison with outdated directories of address elements supported in the survey.v5 classifier. For the "Reading the cadastral plan of the territory and updating the map" mode, a support of a cadastral extract from USRRE for the building was implemented according to the extract_about_property_build_v01 scheme.

  • 14.04.2020 GIS WebService SE is easily integrated into existing information systems through the use of advanced features of OGC standards
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.2.0 is developed. The program added new ones and refined existing requests for the publication of metadata, tiles and objects based on advanced OGC standards. For GetFeature requests, an option has been added to output the order of objects sequence in the response (output from the first or from the last). Now, the order of outputting objects during a search can completely coincide with similar searches carried out in GIS "Panorama" 13. The process of integrating the client applications and services based on OGC standards has been simplified by overpatching the GetFeature, GetMap, GetTile requests. For GetFeature requests, a metadata filter has been added with the ability to display in objects only the semantics specified in the request. Into request of obtaining the list of layers GetLayers, besides the basic metadata about a layer, there is added the information about XSD - scheme on which basis it is created. It will allow to reduce the number of the requests transferred to service.
    For all requests, a parameter has been added that is responsible for the sequence order of coordinates (latitude/longitude or longitude/latitude). Now any GIS that supports OGC standards can receive data from GIS WebService SE.

    Service allows to carry out an automatic clustering of objects on a map at the expense of classifiers use. The objects indicated in the classifier will be automatically grouped on the map using standard GetMap and GetTile requests. New requests for saving and deleting documents located in the semantics of map objects located on the GIS Server have been implemented.
    There is improved an output of images for requests according to the advanced standard OGC WMS and WMTS. For point (raster) objects, the possibility of forming with a transparent background is implemented. Parameters are added for setting the color of a transparent background, filters for drawing data by key and semantics. To request height at a point, a parameter has been added to obtain a geodetic height. The new version implements the ability to deactivate a license such as a registration key.

    The requests parameters for obtaining information from the 3D layer are expanded. There are added an output of information from various levels of representation (near, middle, far) and the ability to request textures and description of objects separately.
    This will speed up the process of creating a model on the client. The structure of the displayed parameters is expanded, which allows to obtain more accurate information about the 3D layer.
    GIS WebServiсe SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), with the help of which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program implements the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web-servers.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" completed the preparation of educational and presentation materials in English about the professional GIS "Panorama" version 13. In the presentation "Geoinformation system "Panorama" new technical solutions in the field of creation, editing and preparation of digital data are demonstrated. For displaying densely located point signs, the algorithm of automatic clustering is implemented, the new task "Building a matrix of depths ", intended for creating matrixes of depths by a set of sea maps of standard IHO S52 with the classifier s57navy.rsc is developed. The task "Import of a spatial database" is demonstrated, which is designed to generate a digital vector map based on spatial information stored in the database. The training and presentation materials reflect the procedures for loading three-dimensional terrain models from the Collada format (DAE) into the database of DB3D 3D tiles.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS ToolKit Active version 13 toolkit has been developed for creating geographic information systems. The new version allows you to create 32x and 64-bit applications with a free license in any programming environment that supports ActiveX technology, for example, Visual Studio.

    GIS ToolKit Active is delivered with source codes of components and the usage examples. The product provides the use of all types of spatial data (bases of geodata), prepared in the GIS "Panorama", including those imported from exchange formats of other geographic information systems (MIF\MID, DXF, SHAPE, KML, GDF).

    GIS ToolKit Active contains a set of the visual and non-visual components allowing to use the spatial and attributive data for display and execution of special calculations. Using these components, geographic information systems of various levels are created (federal, regional, municipal, corporate). The toolkit supports the local, state and international coordinate systems (parameters of more than 4 000 different coordinate systems are included into the delivery complete set). For use of toolkit the extensive Bank of geospatial data is available.

    The base of the geodata can be located both at the workplace (direct access to data) and on a local network or the Internet (access components to the GIS Server or data exchange by the international protocols WMS, WFS, WCS, WMTS are used). The toolkit provides access to spatial data published by geoportals from different manufacturers, including predefined settings for popular geoportals: Yandex, Rosreestr, Panorama, Kosmosnimki, Navitel, Mail, Airplane traffic monitoring and others. The list of available geoportals is constantly expanding. Data from geoportals can be combined with spatial data on the client. There is a set of methods for controlling the visualization parameters of WMS rasters (transparency, brightness, contrast).     A set of components allows you to create monitoring systems for the moving objects that store the coordinate description in popular databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL). Use of special components of navigation and geodata management makes it easy to work with large areas.

    The installation package includes examples for Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio 2012. The examples demonstrate the possibilities of searching and highlighting map objects, scaling images, navigation, accessing data on GIS Servers using the TMapGISServer component, displaying the movement of an object by given coordinates using the TMapView and TMapWindow components and others.     The geoportal "Bank of spatial data" was supplemented with a map of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, formed according to OpenStreetMap data. The source data was obtained from the Geofabrik website. For work with a map it is possible to use the GIS Panorama Mini program or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The map was led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

The process of transferring the established semantic characteristics from entering objects into selected polygons is accelerated. The acceleration was achieved by improving the search algorithm for objects included in the polygon by determining their belonging by the calculated center of coordinates. When exporting a vector map to DXF and MIF\MID formats, the title text of the form #XXX is replaced with the value of the corresponding semantics.

  • 07.04.2020 In Imagery Service a productivity of data analysis and tile building speed are improved
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Service version 9 is developed. In the new version there are increased the productivity of the data analysis and speed of constructing tiles at the expense of creation of treelike structure of spatial data and possibility of cutting of tiles byrasters and matrixes "on the fly", without their preliminary transformation. The program added parameters for customizing the quality of generated tiles (map image the printer/screen, quality of graphics output, RAM consumption, and others). The list of supported matrixes for publishing data and keeping them in up-to-date state has been expanded. Ability is added to set the configuration directory using the config.xml file and install multiple copies of the program. Configuration files for project parameters and created matrixes are separated. Administrator interface is improved. There are added the parameters for tuning the performance of the service. Ability is added to select the format of the name and directory of the created tile: scale/row/row_column, scale/row/column, scale/column/row and others.

    Panorama Imagery Service is a service designed to create and update tile pyramids in PNG, PNG8 or JPEG formats using spatial data managed by the GIS Server program. Pyramids of tiles are published using OGC WMTS protocol by service the GIS WebService SE. As the clients of services, there can be various GIS supporting the OGC WMTS protocol and users of the GIS WebServer SE program. Pyramids of tiles can be created on the base of a combination of digital vector maps, space and aerial photography, matrixes of elevations, data from geoportals and other data.

  • 06.04.2020 GIS Panorama Mini provides a multi-scale representation of geospatial objects based on a dataset with the highest spatial resolution
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Panorama Mini version 13.1.0 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version of the program the tools of displaying geospatial data in various scales are improved. The map atlas provides a quick transition between overlapping maps of different scales, coordinate systems and projections. Atlas of maps can be represented as a tree of a group of projects. The group of projects includes various types of data - vector, raster and matrix maps, as well as map projects (MPT). By means of the module "Manager of maps" the convenient mechanism of systematization of metadata about cartographical resources in your local network is available. Manual and automatic search in the local network of various vector, raster and matrix maps, binary data of the SXF and TXF format, as well as classifiers and files of cartographic projects. The manager of maps provides conducting the user information about maps and hierarchical interrelation between them in a database. The manager of maps organises the representation of a database in the form of a tree and provides visualisation in various scales of vector, raster and matrix maps. The mechanism of Insets provides displaying a map, a raster or a matrix in the form of an illustration over open region of works. The data in the insert can have its own scale, projection, coordinate system, classifier, not related to the open region of work. The location of the inset in the work region, the scale of display and other parameters are customized in the "Embedded objects list" dialog on the "Inset" bookmark (View - Embedded objects list).
    Support for the mechanism of pyramids of tiles allows to improve significantly quality of displaying the geospatial data for various scales. GIS Panorama Mini provides the displaying the packed pyramids of tiles stored in a database under the control of SQLite DBMS, in BIR, Mbtiles and other formats. Preparation of a pyramid of tiles is carried out in ImageryCreator program by the vector maps, remote sensing data and matrixes of heights of a relief and terrain objects. Access to the pyramids of tiles is carried out both offline without the use of server applications, and in client-server mode through the GIS WebService using the OGC WMTS protocol or through the GIS Server version 8.3 and higher.

    In the new version of the program, the dialog "Object selection" has been improved. On the bookmark "Metric" there is added the ability to save the description of the object in file formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON. You can save the object through the menu item "Save Object" by pressing the right mouse button. There is added the ability to view the result of the description of the title format when using service characters and words as a tooltip when you hover over the title. A list of service symbols and words can be found by clicking on the "Service symbols" button.

    In the task "Saving a vector map to graphic format files" the list of output file formats is expanded. Along with the BMP, TIFF, JPEG and RSW formats, the formation of a map image in a PNG file is added. A fragment of an electronic map document of any kind and composition, including vector maps, rasters and matrices, as well as geospatial data from external Internet resources (WMS and WFS services) can be saved. The ability to save the map image by the selected area, by the page format and by the dimensions of the selected objects, for example, by the dimensions of the frames of nomenclature sheets, has been implemented.

    When you open a zip file containing data in the SXF exchange format and RSC, the vector map is automatically generated and opened. Zip files with vector maps can be generated on request in the Databank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data.

  • 03.04.2020 In the professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" the tools of automated creation and updating of topographic and special maps are improved
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" version 13.1.0.2 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version of the program, automated map generalization has been improved. The "Automated generalization of topographical maps" complex is used to convert a map of the source scale to a map of a smaller scale (destination scale). The program optimizes the algorithms for generalizing small objects - reconciling of objects adjacent to deleted ones. There are refined the files of parameters for the modes: formation of an output map, recoding of objects, adaptation of small objects, title of objects.

    Processing of large regions of maps is accelerated. And with it there are performed a filtering and generalizing the contours of objects, transformation of the narrow areal rivers into linear ones, an assigning the thickness of the rivers (thickening from source to mouth), a restricting the boundaries of visibility of rivers and roads of low significance, selecting buildings in compact planning, a leveling the buildings along roads, a creating the objects of the mathematical basis, a signing the objects with new types of symbols according to the semantics of objects. The processing of small reservoirs has been accelerated, during the processing of which the search for adjacent cover objects (forests, meadows) and the uniting the removed small reservoirs with adjacent cover objects are performed.

    In the new version in the “Map Editor”, the mode of editing the title created on the semantics of object has been improved. To change the text of the title, you can go to the source - the semantics of the object linked with the title. For correction of the displayed text in dialog of title editing, the "Title source" button is provided. By its pressing in the "Semantics" bookmark of "Select Object" dialog it is possible to set new value of corresponding semantics. When updating and saving semantics, the text of the linked titles will automatically be replaced with a new one in accordance with the specified display format. The automatic synchronization of the text of title linked to the semantics of the map object has been expanded. Creation of the titles linked with objects is carried out using the map editor tools: Create the title of line on semantic, Create the title on semantics ("Title" group). To synchronize the title text with the semantics of the linked object, special code records of the text in the title metric are used, which begin with the symbol "#". Code record can, for example, look like: "#9(~)\H=#4.1(~)" where there are indicated the links to semantics "Name" (9), "Absolute height" (4), transition to the next line "\" and number of digits of the fractional part of the real number ".1". In parentheses there are written the default values, or the sign of deleting the line "~" in the absence of semantics.     The file format for storing the description of the models line of the map editor has been changed. The description of the models line is saved in the Log folder in the file of EDTX format.
    When you open models saved in the EDT format, the file is automatically converted to the EDTX format. Each line of models has a user-defined individual name, which allows you to quickly navigate when choosing the desired object.

The wizard for creating a new project allows by one-click to form a template of the graphic document with ready-made layout and footers (headers, corner stamps, etc.).

    In the module “Map (plan) of a land management object”, when processing semantics containing the name of the MapPlan XML file, the functions of forming a short (when writing) and full file name (when reading) are added. Functions are added for correct copying of maps with links from one computer onto another one. The function of "intelligent" checking the geonyms of address element according to the scheme AddressInp_v05.xsd is developed, since there are no directories of types of address objects for the _AddressInp_v09.xsd scheme. At the input of the function, the name of the type of the addressable object, for example, "street", at the exit, the geonym "str". The function of checking geonyms is used in the dialog "Land survey plan" and "Map (plan) of the land management object" for updating the values of the customer address obtained from the cadastral database. So as the base is maintained simultaneously for all types of cadastral documents, the structured address can differ for the technical plan, a map (plan), a land survey plan.

  • 01.04.2020 Training-demonstration maps in Spanish onto the territory of Nicaragua are developed
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" in collaboration with Procad S.A. (Republic of Nicaragua) prepared two new training-demonstration maps onto the territory of Nicaragua in Spanish: a geographic map on a scale of 1: 500 000 and a topographic map on a scale of 1: 50 000.

    The geographic map on the scale of 1: 500 000 is intended for users who only start to get acquainted with possibilities of "Panorama" software products. The map demonstrates possibilities of visualizing the geographical information, the data about a relief, the superposition of additional thematic layers.

    A topographic map on a scale of 1: 50 000 displays about 3 thousand square kilometers of the territory of the Chinandega Department, stretching from the volcano San Cristobal to the western tip of the Kosiguin Peninsula. The map demonstrates the capabilities of GIS "Panorama" for the production of cartographic products adapted to national standards. This map is intended for users studying the modes of creating and editing maps, preparing maps for printing, quality control, analytical and other tasks.

  • 30.03.2020 In GIS WebServer SE the possibilities of customizing the user interface for the "Map Editor" task are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 5.3.1 for operating systems Astra Linux, Windows, CentOS is developed. In the new version, in the task "Map Editor" a support for general parameters for selecting objects on the map is added: the color of the image highlighting, the color of the outline of selected objects. When changing color settings, the graphic style of the lines automatically changes when editing objects. In the 3D map in the tile layers, it has become possible to obtain data from several sources in order to accelerate the display of the map. The main page of the application is adapted for mobile devices. The administration module automatically detects whether a layer belongs to an external data source.

    In the new version there is improved the toolkit of Web-application development the GIS WebToolKit SE, which extends the possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps, and terrain information) is provided by Web services using generally accepted OGC protocols and ISO standards. GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS / WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As a digital elevation model, various types of elevation data are used: matrixes (in SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW formats), TIN-models, point cloud, and others. The service provides possibility of publishing the three-dimensional terrain models unloaded into DB3D format. These models can be obtained from files of the COLLADA type, as well as from photorealistic three-dimensional models of unlimited size (TLS, OC3).

    As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data can be used. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, and the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

  • 24.03.2020 Training-presentation materials on the possibilities of the technology for creating high-precision 3D-terrain models were prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" refined the technology of forming a high-precision measuring three-dimensional terrain model. Using this technology, an accurate 3D terrain model can be quickly obtained in several ways and with a combination of various input data.

    A realistic high-precision 3D-model of the terrain can be obtained by shooting the terrain using unmanned aerial photography systems, processing and displaying the obtained data. The software imports three-dimensional models from tile models in the TLS format (Agisoft Tiled Model), point clouds in the Agisoft OC3 format and LAS files into the DB3D format. The database of three-dimensional tiles in DB3D format is used to store and display 3D models in the form of three-dimensional tiles from data of any type, scale range and length.

    To obtain a 3D terrain model, high-altitude data (matrixes or tin models), space and aerial photographs, geoportal data and vector two-dimensional maps, for example, free maps on the base of OpenStreetMap, can be used. In this case, the terrain model is created by superimposing automatically created tiles with images or images of maps onto a high-altitude base (Applications. Building a 3D model). From vector two-dimensional maps, information on the location and characteristics of objects is added onto the terrain model. And for their volumetric display, the libraries of standard 3D models are used, which are supplied with the KB Panorama software.
    All the described options for obtaining a three-dimensional terrain model can be used simultaneously or in any combination in desktop and Web applications.   • 18.03.2020 "Workstation of agronomist" automates the creation of fertilizer maps according to satellite field monitoring
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 13.1 is developed. The new version has expanded the functions of obtaining and viewing data of remote sensing of the Earth within the boundaries of agricultural land. Into the tasks line of satellite monitoring, there is added a package obtaining of maps of inhomogeneity zones on several contours of an arable land. The new mode simplifies work with a large number of fields, allows you to download maps of a given number of zones with a similar state of vegetation, or to calculate maps of nitrogen application. Differentiated fertilizer application according to inhomogeneity maps or nitrogen content maps makes it possible to increase productivity by rational selection of fertilizer doses.

    When creating maps of heterogeneity zones with automatic selection of images, the amount of information on the contour of the arable land as a whole and for each zone separately was increased. Together with the map, the numbers of the most differing zones, the general level of heterogeneity, the index of heterogeneity and productivity of the entire land plot are saved, and the description of each zone is supplemented by local indices of heterogeneity and productivity. This information can be used in a more detailed analysis of the land plot state.

    Into the mode "Viewing Remote Sensing Data" the window has been added for simultaneous viewing the matrixes of several vegetation indexes onto a contour of one agricultural land. This allows you to visually analyze the state of vegetation. The mode is intended for an unloading the maps of zoning by nitrogen of a working plot into a file-task of the onboard computer. Nitrogen zoning maps are loaded to a local disk or GIS Server in the satellite monitoring mode "Obtaining nitrogen demand maps". When unloading maps, the folder structure of the on-board computer is taken into account. The following types of on-board computers are supported: Trimble, Amazone, Raven, AgLeader, JohnDeere, Topcon and others.

    Modes of satellite monitoring work with the "Panorama AGRO" database and support a data placement on a GIS Server for collective work in multi-user access mode.   • 16.03.2020 At the scientific-practical conference in Angola, geoinformation technologies of KB "Panorama" were presented
    From March, 4 till March, 6th, 2020 in Luanda (Republic of Angola) the conference "Modern technologies for the operational creation of cartographic materials" was held. The organizers of the event were the Angolan side - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Angola, the Russian side - the Fund of development of geodetic science and education and the Moscow university of geodesy and cartography (MIIGAiK). The event was attended by leading Russian companies working in the field of geodesy, cartography and aerial photography. Specialists of KB "Panorama" presented the technologies for creating and updating digital topographic maps based on data from unmanned aerial vehicles using GIS "Panorama" and other software products of KB.

    For three days, representatives of Russian companies familiarized Angolan specialists with the latest technologies for using remote sensing data obtained from unmanned aerial vehicles to create accurate cartographic materials. In the process, participants discussed the practical and economic aspects of UAV operation and processing of survey results.

    Conference included theoretical and practical stages. The theoretical stage took place on the first day and included reports by Russian specialists on modern software development for photogrammetric processing of aerial photography data, the creation of various cartographic products and the construction of spatial data infrastructure.

    The next day was devoted to aerial photography. The participants got acquainted with the whole aerial photography cycle with the use of SuperCam drones: from preparing a geodetic substantiation up to completing a flight mission.

    On the third day of the conference, the results of data processing performed on the eve of aerial photography were demonstrated. They included orthophotomaps, digital models of terrain and relief, digital cartographic products, and their placement on WEB services. The technology and methods for processing orthophotomaps were presented in the preparation of digital topographic maps and plans using GIS "Panorama". Listeners have shown high interest in technological solutions and developments of Russian colleagues.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 5.3 is developed for operating systems Astra Linux, Windows, CentOS. In the new version, "Map Editor" provides an expanded set of functions and tools for editing geodata. It allows you to create new ones, modify existing map objects, and perform actions on a group of objects. Operations are performed in a web browser, their result is loaded onto the server. The editor’s user interface is displayed in a separate window for a better overview of the map. To assign or change an object type, use the "View" panel. An object type can be set without interrupting the current editing operation. To do this, just select the appropriate icon in the "View" panel. Images of views of objects are displayed in the form of a legend (tree) or in the form of a model of objects (table). For fast creation of objects the "Editor uses" templates of objects. Templates of objects - the graphic list of often used types of map objects. When you select a template, the editor automatically switches to the mode of creating the object of the specified type. When editing the first and last points of the object geometry, the possibility of the contour continuation is added. The editor informs the user about the performed actions: changing the type of an object, deleting, changing attributes, and other operations on objects. Information is recorded into the map event log, which can be viewed.

  • 03.03.2020 Series of video lessons in English is supplemented with materials about the technology for importing vector maps from Shape format
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared the video lesson "Import data from the Shapefile format". It is intended for the English-speaking users independently studying the possibilities of the GIS "Panorama". In this lesson the program tools for importing vector maps from Shape format are demonstrated.

    Video lesson acquaints users with the task "Import Shape-files" which is available for start in the "Import from …" section of the "File" menu item. During the lesson, the work with the pages (bookmarks) of the dialog is shown: "Common" and "Options". The bookmark "Options" allows you to perform the initial setting of the project for processing the source data, which are the same or periodically updated. The "Common" bookmark allows you to customize options of streaming data processing. In addition, the "Common" bookmark contains information and statistics fields that allow you to track the need to make changes into project settings, for example, when changing input data. In the case of using a data set, obtained by unloading the map using the "Panorama" software products, project setup is not required. All settings are performed automatically.

    In the "Navigator 3D" task, the modes are added for displaying a database of 3D-tiles in a skeleton image and a searching/selecting a separate model from a database. Skeleton display of 3D tiles allows you to visually evaluate the structure of the model and perform filtering if necessary. The searching/selecting mode allows you to quickly go to the desired model on the 3D map.
    The user's interface of the converter from COLLADA (DAE) in DB3D is extended. There is added the ability to select from the list of coordinate systems of the downloaded data: SK-42, SK-95, PZ-90.11, WGS-84, Pseudo-Mercator (EPSG: 3857) and others. When you import three-dimensional models into the DB3D database, they are converted into a single geocentric coordinate system.

    The task "To locate photos of JPEG on map by GPS-coordinates" has been improved. The list of formats of processed source data in the "preliminary compilation" mode has been expanded. Loading of project of shooting data obtained from PhotoScan software is added. The data project integrates a set of JPEG images whose structured photographing parameters are described in a text file. In the "preliminary compilation" mode the automatic binding and turn of the photo image by coordinates of the shooting point and the direction angle of the image is carried out.

    A new module "Floor Plan Editor " has been added to the "Geodesy Editor", which is a set of new specialized modes arranged in a separate toolbar. The module includes the basic functions necessary for the quick and high-quality creation of graphic documents of floor plans of buildings and constructions in the established form and accepted conventional symbols. The wizard for creating a new project allows by one-click to form a template of the graphic document with ready-made layout and footers (headers, corner stamps, etc.).

    In the module “Map (plan) of a land management object”, when processing semantics containing the name of the MapPlan XML file, the functions of forming a short (when writing) and full file name (when reading) are added. Functions are added for correct copying of maps with links from one computer onto another one. The function of "intelligent" checking the geonyms of address element according to the scheme AddressInp_v05.xsd is developed, since there are no directories of types of address objects for the _AddressInp_v09.xsd scheme. At the input of the function, the name of the type of the addressable object, for example, "street", at the exit, the geonym "str". The function of checking geonyms is used in the dialog "Land survey plan" and "Map (plan) of the land management object" for updating the values of the customer address obtained from the cadastral database. So as the base is maintained simultaneously for all types of cadastral documents, the structured address can differ for the technical plan, a map (plan), a land survey plan.

    The dialog "Object selection" has been improved. On the bookmark "Metric" there is added the ability to save the description of the object in file formats: SHP/DBF, OGC GML, GeoJSON. You can save the object through the menu item "Save Object" by pressing the right mouse button. There is added the ability to view the result of the description of the title format when using service characters and words as a tooltip when you hover over the title. A list of service symbols and words can be found by clicking on the "Service symbols" button.

    When you open a zip file containing data in the SXF exchange format and RSC, the vector map is automatically generated and opened. Zip files with vector maps can be generated on request in the Databank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data.

  • 26.02.2020 Specialists of KB "Panorama" held a training seminar for representatives of the Ryazan region administration on the use of a modernized regional GIS
    As part of the modernization of the existing regional geographic information system of the Ryazan region, the specialists of KB Panorama conducted training for representatives of the executive authorities of the Ryazan region, performing the functions of operators and analysts of the system. The modernized state information system "Regional Geographic Information System of the Ryazan Region" was built on the basis of serial software of KB "Panorama". The server part of the regional geographic information system includes the GIS Server, GIS Web Service SE, GIS WebServer SE. As a client application at the workstations of the system’s operators, the professional vectorizer the GIS "Panorama-Editor" with complexes of urban tasks and geodesy calculations is used. For users with the rights of "analyst", access to the system is carried out using a web application from a standard Internet browser.

    The classes were organized by the Ministry of Digital Development, Information Technology and Communications of the Ryazan Region. The event was held in the period from February, 20 till February, 21st on the basis of collective work space the "Boiling point" in the city of Ryazan. The attendees listened to the basic course of applying the Panorama geographic information systems. They got acquainted with the interface of the modernized system, the rules for creating and publishing spatial data, were able to get answers to questions. The initial content of the RGIS was implemented by converting the data provided by the government of the Ryazan region from the SHAPE format into the internal format of the modernized RGIS RO, and publishing them on the system’s servers.

  • 25.02.2020 GIS WebService SE has expanded the ability to publish 3D terrain models
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 13.1.0 is developed. In the new version the requests for work with three-dimensional terrain models are added. The request of formation of a 3D-layer is implemented. Developers using GIS WebToolKit SE can publish their own database of three-dimensional objects in db3d format, having transferred the necessary parameters to the service. In addition, to request information about an object, it is possible to display the templates visibility range of p3d library.

    In the new version a processing of all requests is accelerated at the expense of creating the reduced xml files of settings for each layer. The program forms tiles by rasters and matrixes "on the fly", without preliminary data transformation. This saves time on additional data preparation. In the program the interface of the administrator is improved, interactive tips are added.

    The new version of the program has expanded the ability to create pyramids of tiles for integration with existing information systems. The service can be embedded in data warehouses, simplifying the process of publishing tiles for a particular information system. Users can specify the format of the tiles names and the structure of their storage, for example, scale/row/row_column.png, scale/row/column.png, scale/column/row.png and others.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), with the help of which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program has the ability to issue tiles by any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web servers.

  • 21.02.2020 Geoportal of open data of EMERCOM of Russia for emergencies forecasting is updated
    In KB "Panorama" the Geoportal of open data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia is updated. The new version of the geoportal uses the technology of connecting application libraries to the GIS WebService SE geo-service, which made it possible to model and evaluate the potential consequences of emergencies in various scenarios. When constructing an emergency model, the terrain features, relief, vegetation and weather conditions are taken into account. The geoportal contains systematic information about the units of the Ministry of Emergencies, rescue military units, potentially dangerous facilities and individual objects of transport infrastructure. When forming this data, information from open resources was used: the official website of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies, Wikipedia, Russia's Arms, Military Russia, OpenStreetMap and others.

    The geoportal is designed for evaluation purposes, it demonstrates the capabilities of the serial software products of KB "Panorama" (GIS WebServer SE, GIS Web Toolkit SE, GIS WebService SE) and is an example of their use. The geo-portal of open data of EMERCOM of Russia allows you to simulate the situation as a result of an emergency in the following scenarios: a terrorist attack, an emergency of technogenic (at biological, chemical, radiation-hazardous facilities and others) and natural characters (fire, flood, flooding, mudflows/landslides and others).

    Algorithms for calculating the consequences of emergencies are implemented on the basis of guides and guidelines. With the obtained simulation results, various analytical tasks can be carried out: an estimating the number of buildings, personnel, population that fell into the affected areas; selection of objects at a given distance from the epicenter; checking transport accessibility to the epicenter of the accident; building a route to the epicenter of the accident; estimation of the approximate number of people who fell into the emergency zone, according to a given population density.

    All results of modelling, including the spatial data, it is possible to print or save into a file for the subsequent use. In addition, the Geoportal provides standard capabilities for working with spatial data (working with a map, selecting and viewing a territory, selecting objects on a map, and others).

  • 19.02.2020 Article about technologies of creating and applying spatial data for automated vehicle control is published
    The KB "Panorama" systematized the experience of applying the software technologies "Panorama" to create and use spatial data in the field of automation of traffic control of vehicles.

    Modern cars have long been able to brake and accelerate on their own, to determine their location and distance to obstacles. Cars are equipped with an increasing number of sensors and equipments of technical vision. To achieve the maximum level of vehicles automation and solving the growing transport needs in the world the intelligent transport systems (ITS) are being developed. ITS is the result of combining modern modeling technologies, real-time control, as well as communication technologies.

    The use of digital maps in ITS will allow to implement the autonomous movement of vehicles in adverse weather conditions, at night, without equipping the road infrastructure with expensive equipment, as well as to minimize operating costs for maintaining the system.

    KB Panorama has tested technologies of creating, updating and publishing spatial data about structural elements of the road, lanes, road markings, road signs and traffic lights in the form of a digital road model (DRM). DRM database is implemented as a cloud service in which digital data about the road and other information that somehow affect the road situation are consolidated.

    Technology of creating and using the DRM, described in the article, will provide developers of highly automated vehicles with high-precision digital maps and navigation data necessary for constructing planned lines of the car’s movement in a dynamically changing road-transport environment.

    As part of the software for maintaining the DRM, several components should be distinguished. Automated technologies for preparation of digital information about the road are implemented in the GIS "Panorama". Web-services and services of publishing DRM data that support an information exchange with external databases and consumers of spatial data are implemented by means of GIS WebService SE and GIS WebServer SE. GIS ToolKit and GIS WebToolKit provide API and SDK tools for developing applications for controlling an automated vehicle based on DRM data. The catalog of spatial objects that characterize the elements of the road, road service, patterns and conditions of traffic is implemented on the basis of the digital classifier road2000.rsc, which contains the necessary list of objects for creating objects and layers of DRM.

  • 18.02.2020 Specialists of KB Panorama held a master class on creating three-dimensional terrain models at an international conference in Moscow
    13-14 February, 2020 the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Geodesy, Mine Survey and Aerial Photography" was held in Moscow. As part of this event, the project manager of KB Panorama Alexander Kirichenko held a master class on the topic "Dynamic 3D-terrain models. Variants of creation and types of source data".

    At the master class, the participants of the event were shown the capabilities of 3D modeling in the GIS "Panorama" and GIS WebServer SE software products, namely the construction of three-dimensional terrain models using a wide variety of source data: vector map, matrix of heights, a triangulation model of the relief and terrain, point cloud, three-dimensional models of objects, aerial photography data, three-dimensional tiles.

    Also on the master class it has been told about the tile representation of three-dimensional data - about a format that contains a pyramid of the scales of a three-dimensional model in the form of small blocks for each level. The using this format allows you to solve the problem of large amounts of data and their transmission in the case of using WEB-applications.

  • 17.02.2020 Training materials on creation of the "Dispatch Centre" geoportal by use of tools the GIS WebToolKit SE were prepared
    In KB "Panorama" the training-presentation materials on construction of "Dispatch centre" geoportal were prepared. The geoportal is created with use of GIS-toolkit for development of GIS WebToolKit SE web-applications. The dispatch center allows you to display routes of movement of vehicles for an arbitrary date and receive information about each point of movement. Routes are constructed in the form of linear and point objects. At construction it is possible to set color of the object. It is possible to display several routes at once on different dates, each point of the route contains information about the time. The constructed routes can be saved on a local computer in the GeoJSON format for further processing and analysis.

    PostgreSQL database is used to store information about vehicle coordinates. GPS/GLONASS trackers provide information about the current position, time and condition of the car. Data is transmitted over HTTP protocol, using a packet data transfer GPRS (General Packet Radio Service). The mechanism of receiving and analysis of data is implemented in PHP. Use of any other ways of data receiving is possible. The route is drawn in the client’s browser, which receives all the necessary data in the GeoJSON format. The route is added into the "Map Content" panel's tree as a separate layer. "Dispatch centre" is implemented as a plug-in application of GIS WebServer SE.

    Geoportal allows you to lay optimal driving directions between two points. To do this, use the component of building driving directions - "Routes". Route calculation is performed on the server using the road graph. The graph of roads is constructed onto all territory of the Russian Federation. Access to cartographic data (images, vector maps, and terrain information) is provided by Web services using generally accepted OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. Terrain data is presented in the form of tiles and is cached on the client.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. GIS WebToolKit SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

    In KB "Panorama" the examples of using the tools of GIS WebToolKit SE in web projects are developed. Examples demonstrate the possibility of using GIS technologies in finished and developing projects. Spatial data can easily be added onto any page of the site and interaction between the web application and the GIS is organized. The examples demonstrate the display of terrain maps, remote sensing data, aerial and satellite imagery materials, matrixes of heights and other spatial data on the site pages, in a separate browser window and in a frame.

    Methods of organizing interaction between applications, methods of establishing link between objects are shown. The updated documentation describes an example of working with a database, which allows you to display tables, establish a logical link between database objects and map objects, search for objects by table records and vice versa, using the mechanism of linked records.
    The GIS WebToolKit SE tools allows you to create web applications that display cartographic information about the area, get information about the characteristics of map objects, create new ones and edit existing objects. Provides access to the infrastructure of spatial data (vector, raster, matrix maps, remote sensing data), performing of special calculations. It can be used on Linux-based systems.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor for Qt Designer SE version 13 was developed for the CentOS 7 operating system. The new version improves the reliability of working the multithreaded GIS applications that process spatial data hosted on the GIS Server. GIS application in the background mode monitors the status of virtual channels and, if necessary, reconnects. GIS Constructor implements support for a single geographic information space managed by servers of spatial data (GIS Server) and application servers (GIS WebService SE). Due to the ability to connect to the GIS Server, users of GIS applications can directly connect to geospatial data bases, view and edit tables in the form of maps in specified conventional symbols. Support for interaction with the GIS WebServiсe SE allows you to access spatial data according to international standards OGC WMS, WMTS.

    CentOS (Community ENTerprise Operating System) is the popular distribution kit Linux based on commercial Red Hat Enterprise Linux and compatible with it.     GIS Constructor is a set of geoinformation components for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer, which allows you to develop your own GIS applications. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical and various special maps. Geoinformation system has ample opportunities for performing calculations, for providing display of spatial data on various graphic devices in standard and user systems of conventional symbols. The main functions can be executed in multithreaded mode. It supports automatic optimization of used memory for processing large amounts of data (tens of gigabytes) on limited resources (hundreds of megabytes).

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 5.2 is developed for operating systems Astra Linux, CentOS and Windows. The new version of 3D map displays more detailed three-dimensional terrain models while maintaining high speed. The completely updated core of the 3D component allows you to increase the detail of the display up to 8 times. The screen refresh rate is up to 30 frames per second.     Imagery Creator version 10 for the Windows, Astra Linux, and CentOS operating systems was developed at KB "Panorama". The new version of the program has expanded the ability to create pyramids of tiles for integration with existing information systems. Imagery Creator can be integrated into the Databank, simplifying the process of creating tiles for a particular information system. Users can specify the format of the name of the tiles and their storage structure, for example, scale/row/row_column.png, scale/row/column.png, scale/column/row.png.
    In the new version, the process of forming the tiles for Big Data data is several times faster by creating a tree-like data storage structure. There are added the parameters for adjusting the quality and speed of tile formation (enable/disable smoothing for lines, polygons, titles; printer/screen view; loading maps into RAM). Possibility is implemented for cutting tiles by rasters and matrixes "on the fly", without preliminary transformation of data. It will allow to save time on additional preparation of data. The program has improved the administrator interface, added the ability to specify the path to the configuration files.

    The program allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8, Mbtiles, BIR and GeoPackage according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0, the standard TMS and OGC 12-128r15 GeoPackage version 1.2.1. New possibilities are implemented on the basis of document ICAO Doc 9643 "Manual on Simultaneous Operations on Parallel or near parallel Instrument Runways (SOIR)". They allow to perform the construction and calculation schemes of departure, final stage of landing and departure to the second round when shared using two parallel runways. Functions for entering points, routes and airfields are supplemented by the mode of automatic calculation of magnetic declination based on the WMM2015 model.

    Work of ARINC converter is improved, where the import and export operations into a map and into a database are divided. In the new version, the algorithm for simultaneous use of several tasks by the same user within the same workplace (simultaneous launch of two or more tasks) has been improved.

    Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information is intended for the creation and maintenance of a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical maps, the designing of flight routes for aircraft and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in ARINC and AIXM 5.1 formats. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM), with additions for storing the planned information and the results of the routes designing. The model is recommended by the international organization for planning and coordination of air traffic "Eurocontrol".

  • 27.01.2020 In the journal "Geoprofi" the article about technology of automated generalization for creation of multiscale maps is published
    In the journal "Geoprofi" (№ 6, 2019) the article "Technology of automated generalization for creation of multiscale maps" is published. It describes the technology of automated creation of maps of a smaller scale by a large-scale map with the help of KB "Panorama" software products.

    The considered technology includes many stages: formation of a nomenclature sheet of a map of a derivative scale, simplification of the metric description of objects, recoding objects, sequential generalization of a relief, hydrography, road network, settlements, objects of small length or area. One of the rules by which generalization is performed is that each object should be visible in the range of scales of displaying the digital map specified for it.

    The main purpose of technology of automated generalization is to reduce the time required to create multiscale maps. To implement this feature, KB Panorama has developed specialized software called "Automated generalization of digital topographic maps", which is an additional module for the universal GIS "Panorama". Currently, the module has accelerated processing of large map regions. So, the process of converting 36 sheets of a map of scale 1: 100 000 into 9 sheets of a map of scale 1: 200 000 on a computer with an average performance will take less than two hours (up to 15 minutes per sheet).

  • 23.01.2020 In "Complex of hydrological problems" the possibilities of constructing flood zones are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the "Complex of hydrological tasks" versions 6 for the GIS "Panorama" version 13 is developed. In the new version of the program, the task "Building a zone of flood by marks of a water level" of the "Flooding” panel is improved. The task forms a matrix of qualities (MTQ), containing values of depths of a flood zone. To automate the process of constructing flood zones, a new mode of creating a set of depths matrixes by TXT-files from the selected directory has been developed. The mode allows you to speed up the process of constructing flood zones in the case of a large number of source data files.

    The "Complex of hydrological tasks" is intended for modelling the water filling of pools, and also for construction of flood zones and zones of drainage in the form of matrixes of depths. The complex includes 30 functional tasks providing creation and loading from external formats of matrixes of a relief of a bottom of considered pool, execution of calculations by bottom's matrixes, construction of zones of flooding and drainage in the form of matrixes of depths. The complex contains tools for constructing isolines by matrixes of surfaces, creating polygons by homogeneous matrixes zones, creations of objects by the crossing, constructions of zones around objects. Results of work of the complex can be saved in a text format, as well as in EMF and MS Word formats. The vector map objects formed by the tasks of the complex can be exported to SXF, TXF formats. The complex is implemented as part of the GIS "Panorama", that allows to use for modelling and calculations the data from various external sources: geoportals, web-services, remote sensing data, maps and matrixes of heights under the control of the GIS Server, thematic databases.

  • 22.01.2020 Training-presentation materials about new possibilities of GIS "Panorama" version 13 are prepared
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" completed the preparation of training and presentation materials about the professional GIS "Panorama" version 13. The presentation "Geoinformation system" Panorama" demonstrated new technical solutions in the field of creation, editing and preparation of digital data. An automatic clustering algorithm has been implemented to display tightly located point signs, a new task called "Matrix of depths building" was developed, intended for creating matrixes of depths by a set of sea maps of IHO S52 standard with the s57navy.rsc classifier.
    There is demonstrated the task of "Import of a spatial database", which is designed to generate a digital vector map based on spatial information stored in a database. In the training and presentation materials, the procedures for loading three-dimensional terrain models from the Collada (DAE) format into the database of three-dimensional DB3D tiles are reflected.

    GIS "Panorama" - the universal geoinformation system having the tools for creating and editing of digital maps and plans of cities, remote sensing data processing, performance of various measurements and calculations, overlay operations, construction of 3D models, processing of raster data, means for preparation of graphic documents in electronic and printed form, and also tools for work with databases.

  • 20.01.2020 "Workstation of urban planner" supports the accounting of objects of a single real estate complex
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of urban-planner" version 13.0.4 is developed. The new version of the program has expanded the capabilities of accounting and storage of objects of a single immovable complex. A single immovable complex is a combination of buildings, structures, and other things united by a single purpose, inextricably linked physically or technologically, including linear objects (railways, power lines, pipelines), or located on one land plot.

    The register of objects of a single immovable complex provides storage of the accounting and technical characteristics of the complex and all cadastral objects included into its composition. Due to the spatial and logical connections, there is ensured an integration with the registers of land, buildings and structures. The composition of the stored data includes various cadastral documentation, schemes, plans, drawings, images, accounting and technical characteristics and information about the copyright holders. The location of a single immovable complex on the map is provided.

    In the "Workstation of urban planner", along with various real estate objects, information on land plots and their owners is stored. Maintaining urban development regulations for the use of territories allows us to establish rules for the use of land plots and capital construction objects.

    Automation of the formation of spatial and logical relationships between the considered real estate and land plots simplifies the use of the software package. The "What the subject owns" mode allows you to get complete information about the property of the copyright holder.

    To create a cadastral plan of the territory, a loading of information from the XML files of the Federal Register is used. The synchronization mode allows you to configure the relationship between the semantics of cadastral map objects and the information stored in the database.

    A special place in the program is occupied by the section with documents, which allows you to store various attributive information about documents. Documents can be grouped by type, purpose, regional affiliation and other user data. A document record may contain various attributes that the user himself creates and assigns to a group of documents. Files that can be viewed and edited in a specialized program are attached to the document record. One document can be used for several land plots and objects of real estate. Flexible customization of stored information in a database allows to use the "Workstation of the urban-planner" not only for the urban development purposes, but also for accounting for lands and objects of real estate.

  • 17.01.2020 Maps of the regions of the Siberian Federal District were updated on the geoportal "Bank of spatial data"
    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data", the maps of regions of the Siberian Federal District, which were formed according to OpenStreetMap data, were updated.

    The composition of the maps includes Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk Oblasts, Altai Republic, Tuva Republic, Republic of Khakassia, Altai Krai and Krasnoyarsk Krai. The source data was obtained from the Geofabrik website. For work with the maps it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    The maps were led to the modernised classifier of large-scale plans of scale 1: 5 000 (map5000m.rsc). Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 14.01.2020 The section of video lessons in English is supplemented with materials on the possibilities of the GIS "Panorama" for the exchange of spatial data in MID/MIF format
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" prepared the video lesson "Import/export data from the Mapinfo-files". The material is intended for English-speaking users independently studying possibilities of the GIS "Panorama". From the video lesson, users will learn how to import/export MapInfo data in the GIS "Panorama".

    The first part of the lesson discusses the the mode's work "Import of vector maps from MIF/MID format". The converter allows you to import data into a user map created automatically by the program or by the user manually. During converting, the import of the attributive information about objects and its saving in semantics of objects is carried out. In this case, the source data can be both in geodetic coordinates, and in rectangular.

    The final part of the video lesson demonstrates how to work with dialog "Save Map to MIF/MID format". In addition to the basic information about the current file of the work region ("Name", "Source map" and "Output folder"), the following groups of control elements are examined in detail: "Input Data", "Statistic", "Data processing status", "Options". They provide the user with various data about the current handling procedure. To export vector maps, you can use the default options or change them as you wish.

  • 10.01.2020 Technologies of Imagery Service for creating and updating tile pyramids by spatial data are implemented for CentOS and Astra Linux SE platforms
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Service version 8.4.2 is developed for operating systems CentOS and Astra Linux SE (Release "Smolensk"). In the new version a support of domain authorization for the GIS Server is added. The mode of deleting tiles for the project is implemented. It allows you to delete tiles to certain territories, scales and matrixes that are specified in the program settings.

    Panorama Imagery Service is a Linux service designed to create and update tile pyramids in PNG, PNG8 or JPEG formats using spatial data managed by the GIS Server program. Pyramids of tiles are published using OGC WMTS protocol by service the GIS WebService SE. As the clients of services, there can be various GIS supporting the OGC WMTS protocol and users of the GIS WebServer SE program. Pyramids of tiles can be created on the base of a combination of digital vector maps, space and aerial photography, matrixes of elevations, data from geoportals and other data.

    The program supports standard tile pyramids: GlobalCRS84Scale (standard matrix for representing spatial data in EPSG:4326 projection), GlobalCRS84Pixel (matrix for intuitive representation of spatial data), GoogleCRS84Quad (matrix compatible with Google data in EPSG:4326 projection), GoogleMapsCompatible (matrix compatible with Google data in EPSG:3857 projection, also used in Google Maps) and others. To read the source data, Panorama Imagery Service can connect to the GIS Server or open data sets on the local network. The program monitors data changes - by the transaction log for vector data, by the time of updating raster and matrix data, and automatically updates the tiles on which the changes occurred.

  • 08.01.2020 In GIS Panorama Mini the tools of access to geospatial databases are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the Panorama Mini version 13.0.4 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version a support of the international format OGC 12-128r15 GeoPackage version 1.2.1 (*.gpkg) is added. This format is a SQLite 3 database that stores tiles of various formats, their coordinate system, matrixes of descriptions, and metadata. GeoPackage format is used in applications for providing access to spatial information: maps, images, matrixes of elevations. The format can be used in cloud storages and for simplifying the exchange of information, since all data is stored in one file.
    Ability is added to receive and display packed pyramids of tiles from GIS Server. Pyramids of tiles can be in BIR, Mbtiles formats, stored in a database managed by SQLite DBMS. Pyramids of tiles can be created in the Imagery Creator program, including in the environment of the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data, using vector maps, remote sensing data and matrixes of heights of relief and terrain objects. Access to tiles pyramids can be offline without the use of server applications, as well as in client-server mode through GIS WebService SE via the OGC WMTS protocol or through the GIS Server. When accessing client-server mode, the tiles that were accessed are automatically cached on the client's computer, similar to working through a web browser.
    The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. List of connected geoportals is updated. Data from geoportals can be connected as a background to user data for solving various application tasks (validation, printing reports, reconciling data and others). Vector layers obtained by the OGC WFS protocol can serve as initial data. The program supports a monitoring of changes and tracking moving objects in a near-real time mode. If the geoportal or service supports the OGC WFS-T transaction protocol, then the task allows not only to receive, display objects and monitor their updates, but also to edit them, transferring changes to the server to display these changes to other clients. Displaying all geoportals is accelerated. There is added the ability to display and save data from Rosreestr geoportals without duplicating signatures on the screen in various projections, including for local coordinate systems. Displaying the Rosreestr geoportal is significantly accelerated upon repeated calls.
    Support for GSK-2011 and PZ-90.11 coordinate systems is implemented. The creation of maps in the GSK-2011 system, the conversion of projections and coordinate systems of maps, matrixes and rasters is provided. The new national coordinate systems were adopted by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2012 N 1463 "On unified state coordinate systems".
    A new type of maps, Topographic PZ-90.11 (Pulkovo2017), based on the use of the ellipsoid PZ-90.11 and the Gauss-Krueger projection, has been added into the "View Passport" task. As system of heights the Average level of world ocean (geoid) corresponding to the EGM2008 model is established. Support for a new type of map is added into the task "Creation of rule". In the dialogs for recalculating and displaying the coordinates of the current point on the map, the coordinate system PZ-90.02 was replaced by PZ-90.11.
    Into the map passport the property "Use alternative fonts" is added. This property is necessary, for example, for the correct display of OSM maps in national languages using the standard classifier map5000m.rsc. The classifier includes topographic fonts in which not all language encoding are implemented. The installation includes the altfonts.xml file, in which for such fonts the alternative fonts supporting the required encoding are specified.
    To split the set of point signs into groups and display them, the algorithm of an automatic clustering is implemented. In the "Classifier Editor" tools of clusters description are added. Description includes: views of objects relating to each type of cluster, cell sizes vertically and horizontally, semantics code to indicate the current number of objects in the cluster, view of a conventional sign of a cluster, a limiting percent of magnifying the size of a cluster's sign and the limiting number of objects, and the limiting number of objects, corresponding to the maximum size of the cluster sign. The cluster symbol can be programmable, that allows you by various ways to set off a type of a cluster and to change properties of a sign depending on number of objects in a cluster (signature of the number, size of a sign, brightness). When grouping in a virtual cluster cell more than one object of a given type, their conventional signs will automatically be replaced by a conventional sign of the cluster, the center of which will have an average coordinate of the objects included in it. When you change the scale, the cluster configuration automatically changes. Maps with clusters customized in the RSC classifier are automatically supported in all desktop and web applications, as well as in applications developed in the GIS ToolKit and GIS Constructor.
    Algorithm of creating signatures of objects according to their semantic characteristics is changed. At updating semantics of object there are automatically updated the corresponding semantics of all signatures created for the object in the "Map Editor" or in the task of "Creation of titles by objects semantics". The task of creating titles by objects semantics, taking into account the processing of multipolygons selected on the map, has been improved. A title is formed for each contour that belongs to the multipolygon and is put in accordance with the dialog settings.
    "Map Editor" task is improved. In the mode of creating a linear object, a new option "Add to object" is added, which provides a joining of the created contour to the contour of the already existing linear object on the map. The mode of the map editor "Paste & Cut - Cut of polygon object by object" has been improved. When cutting a polygon object, support of multipolygons is added. When an ordinary polygon object is cut, the result is ordinary polygonal ones. When cutting a multipolygon, the result is a multipolygon.
    "Select Object" dialog has been improved. In order to increase the information content of the object’s scheme, the color of the contours has been changed in the "Metric" bookmark: for ordinary objects, the main contour now is displayed in blue color, and subobjects - in pink color. In multipolygons, all external contours are displayed in blue color, the rest - in pink. The new color scheme allows you visually to verify the correctness of the subobjects occurrence. On the "Semantics" bookmark, the ability to disable sorting of the object characteristics table has been added. Data will be displayed in the sequence of their addition to the map object. Enabling/Disabling sorting can be done through the "Sort" context menu item.
    The mode "Image shutter" is improved. By means of this mode the analysis of various overlapping opaque images can be made by shifting their borders. Possibility to apply the "shutter" for matrixes and geoportals is added. The mode is started through the main menu View/Image shutter. The task "Saving vector map into file of BMP, TIFF, RSW format" has been improved. The mode of page-by-page saving of the map image to graphic files by page format is added.

    Updating the Panorama Mini version 12 to version 13 till June, 1st, 2020 is free for users who purchased the Panorama Mini version 12 after December, 1st, 2018, as well as for those who have a valid technical support agreement for version 12.   • 03.01.2020 The professional vectorizer "Panorama-editor" has improved the technology of automated generalization and quality control of topographic maps
    In KB "Panorama" the professional vectorizer "Panorama-Editor" version 13.0.4 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version, automated generalization of maps has been improved. Processing of large regions of maps is accelerated. On a computer with average performance the conversion of 36 sheets of a map of scale 1: 100 000 into 9 sheets of a map of scale 1: 200 000 takes less than two hours (up to 15 minutes per sheet). And with it there are performed a filtering and generalizing the contours of objects, transformation of the narrow areal rivers into linear ones, an assigning the thickness of the rivers (thickening from source to mouth), a restricting the boundaries of visibility of rivers and roads of low significance, selecting buildings in compact planning, a leveling the buildings along roads, a creating the objects of the mathematical basis, a signing the objects with new types of symbols according to the semantics of objects.
    The task "Quarters generalisation" has been refined, designed for automatic uniting of closely located same-type quarters and adjustment of quarters with linear objects of the road network. In order to eliminate the contradictory overlap of the objects of the map of the derived scale, there are added the processes of adjustment of quarters and removing the buildings in the area of quarters with black filling.
    In the new version of the program, algorithms of generalization for small objects have been improved: adjustment of objects adjacent to deleted ones. The processing of small reservoirs has been accelerated, during the processing of which the search for adjacent cover objects (forests, meadows) and the uniting the removed small reservoirs with adjacent cover objects are performed. The uniting is performed if there is the presence of a significant area (contour) of adjacency of the analyzed objects. Parameters files for the modes have been refined: formation of output map, recoding objects, generalization of small objects, title of objects. Customizing filters of the objects processed at formation of an output map is simplified. The new method allows to perform faster and more flexible customization of the objects types copied onto the output map. The quality of signing the names of settlements has been improved: a new algorithm for selecting a place for signing perform a search for the most free place from the contours. New signatures are implemented in the form of vector symbols containing complex signatures that are used to sign characteristics of bridges, dams, locks, dams, ferries, fords, forests, settlements and other objects.
    Complex signatures allow you to automatically adapt the type of signature taking into account the presence or absence of objects characteristics. It is enough to add, delete or change the semantics of such symbol and the type of signature automatically changes. This approach allows you to completely replace obsolete types of characters with the localization of "Mixed" with vector symbols. Classifiers 25t05gm.rsc, 50t05gm.rsc, 100t05gm.rsc, 200t05gm.rsc, 500t05gm.rsc, 1m05gm.rsc are updated, and also there are added the files of parameters of maps generalization of scales from 1: 25 000 to 1: 1 000 000.
    The program has expanded the list of tasks for automated processing of vector maps in the task "Map processing according to the scenario." The new task "Correction of object metrics" is developed. It performs the removal of outliers and double points in the specified tolerance; removal of the initial and final coincident segments of linear objects; cutting contours of linear objects at the junction points; cutting contours of areal objects at points of junction and self-intersection; conversion of multilines into simple lines; transformation of multipolygons into simple areal objects with internal subobjects.

    In the program of correcting the metric of objects a processing of multipolygons is accelerated. For example, time of correcting the metric of a test set of maps with more than 3 million objects was reduced from 5 hours to 30 minutes, and about 50 thousand topology errors were corrected. Upon completion of work, the number of corrected errors is recorded into the log "View error". The task is called through the main menu: Tools - Map processing by scenario - Correction of object metrics.
    The task "Checking the quality of a vector map" has been improved. Checking the vector map is carried out in accordance with the selected control scheme containing a list of types and parameters of checking. The format of the checking parameters schema file has been changed from binary CXM to textual XML. In the \Control.Dot\ folder, the XML files for control parameters schemes with the extension * .CXML have been updated.
    In the task "Vector map Checking", the automatic correction of the metric of areal and linear objects has been improved. In polygon objects, there are removed the outliers and vertex duplications, all types of self-crossings, crossings of contours and errors of locations of subjects are corrected. Adjacent contours of one object are combined, intersecting contours are divided into separate objects. In the objects having errors of locations of subjects, the description order is corrected: the subject having the maximum area becomes the main one, the subjects located inside other subjects are stored into separate objects. In linear objects, there are removed the outliers and vertexes duplications, coinciding segments, the self-joining is corrected (joining of non-consecutive segments of one contour). The contours having the self-joining, are divided into separate objects. To correct the metrics of objects, it is necessary to perform "Check of self-crossings and locations of subjects" in the "Edit" mode. The corrected objects have a topologically correct metric description, which provides the calculation of correct areas, simplifies the construction of road network graphs, and allows you to combine and cut areas of vector data according to specified conditions. Automatic correction of the metrics of map objects allows you to speed up the processing of vector maps obtained from any sources that do not have a strict standard for checking the metric information.
    In the task the "Checking the quality of a vector map" according to a control scheme, tools of checking the metadata of the map are added. Metadata is formed by the task the "Map passport" according the standards of ISO 19115:2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. Metadata is saved in the XML format as a separate file onto each sheet of the map. Metadata allows you to enter additional information about the map (data on the manufacturer, data on the technology of creation) and use it in the conducting the automated banks of the spatial data.
    The task "Check of vector map quality" has been improved. Checking the vector map is carried out in accordance with the selected control scheme containing a list of types and parameters of checking. The format of the checking parameters schema file has been changed from binary CXM to textual XML. In the \Control.Dot\ folder, the XML files for control parameters schemes with the extension * .CXML have been updated.

Outputting reports into HTML file allows generating reporting documents without using office programs. There is added the ability to run multiple instances of the GIS "Panorama-editor" program for execution of checking various vector maps with issuing reports in HTML format (a report in MS Word is executed from only one program). The output of reporting documents into an HTML file is based on a pre-prepared template. For the "Checking the quality of a vector map" task, a template for the HTML document mapcontr.htm was created in a text editor. The template defines the main structure of an HTML document and contains its settings, such as fonts, page settings, formatting, and styles. Upon termination of working the "Checking the quality of a vector map" program, the HTML report files with the control results for each card and the final report containing information on the results of processing all the maps will be saved in the directory for placing output maps and reporting documents.

    In GIS "Panorama-editor" a support for GSK-2011 and PZ-90.11 coordinate systems is added. The creation of maps in the GSK-2011 system, the conversion of projections and coordinate systems of maps, matrixes and rasters is provided. The new national coordinate systems were adopted by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 28, 2012 N 1463 "On unified state coordinate systems".
    A new type of maps, Topographic PZ-90.11 (Pulkovo2017), based on the use of the ellipsoid PZ-90.11 and the Gauss-Krueger projection, has been added into the "View Passport" task. As system of heights the Average level of world ocean (geoid) corresponding to the EGM2008 model is established. Support for a new type of map is added into the task "Creation of rule". In the dialogs for recalculating and displaying the coordinates of the current point on the map, the coordinate system PZ-90.02 was replaced by PZ-90.11. Into the map passport the property "Use alternative fonts" is added. This property is necessary, for example, for the correct display of OSM maps in national languages using the standard classifier map5000m.rsc. The classifier includes topographic fonts in which not all language encoding are implemented. The installation includes the altfonts.xml file, in which for such fonts the alternative fonts supporting the required encoding are specified.

    On the basis of classifiers of digital topographic maps (DTM) of 1:50 000 and 1: 100 000 scales, modernized classifiers 50t05gm.rsc and 100t05gm.rsc were prepared, intended for the automated generalization and automation of the creating and updating DTM. The modernized DTM combines the basic properties of a topographic and navigation map. With the help of the task "Creating of passages in settlements" and prepared classifiers, streets and passages in settlements are automatically formed. Tools of automated control and correction of the quality of digital maps provide control of the topology according to the metrics of objects. By created streets and passages along with the road network objects when solving Navigation tasks a graph of roads is formed. A complete road and street network in settlements increases the degree of automation in the forming the maps of smaller scales (generalization). Significantly the composition of the layers is reduced by combining the data of the same type. The order of displaying objects in the classifier is set in accordance with the priority of the layers and the priority of objects in the layer, which makes it unnecessary to use additional layers. In the properties of some objects that are not used in practice when creating a DTM based on remote sensing data, the sign "Obsolete object" is set. Obsolete objects are not displayed in the objects list of the "Create object" dialog, unless the "Obsolete objects" field is enabled. This allows you to store in classifier the objects from the obsolete classifiers "05" and "09" for compatibility, but not display them when creating and updating the map to facilitate the selection of actual types of objects. For the automatic formation of labels using the task "Automatic labels alignment", the corresponding labels are customized according to the semantics of the objects.

    Into the program composition the classifiers of conventional symbols emercom.v2.rsc and map5000m.rsc are added. The classifier of conventional symbols emercom.v2.rsc has been developed for the preparation of cartographic information in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies by governing bodies, civil defense forces and the unified state system for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations (RSChS). In the classifier there is implemented a general list of layers, objects and attributive characteristics of objects that provide solutions to problems in the field of civil defense, prevention and liquidation of consequences of natural and man-made emergencies. The emercom.v2.rsc classifier contains the information: about territories, zones, objects, forces and means affecting the problems of organization, planning and conduct of measures for civil defense and the protection of the population and territories; about the forecast and operational situation arising in the course of military conflicts or as a result of these conflicts, as well as during emergencies of a natural and man-made nature; about planning and conducting activities on civil defense, prevention and liquidation of consequences of emergencies of a natural and man-made character. The modernized classifier of large-scale plans of a scale 1: 5 000 the map5000m.rsc is designed to create topographic plans of cities or city plans in the local coordinate system of scales of 1: 5000, which can be used in territorial planning, maintaining the land and property cadastre, in architecture and urban planning. The codes of the Information Cartographic Support approved by the Head of the VTU General Staff of the Russian Federation in 2007 are taken as the basis of object codes.

    The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. List of connected geoportals is updated. Data from geoportals can be connected as a background to user data for solving various application tasks (validation, printing reports, reconciling data and others). Vector layers obtained by the OGC WFS protocol can serve as initial data. The program supports a monitoring of changes and tracking moving objects in a near-real time mode. If the geoportal or service supports the OGC WFS-T transaction protocol, then the task allows not only to receive, display objects and monitor their updates, but also to edit them, transferring changes to the server to display these changes to other clients. Displaying all geoportals is accelerated. There is added the ability to display and save data from Rosreestr geoportals without duplicating signatures on the screen in various projections, including for local coordinate systems. Displaying the Rosreestr geoportal is significantly accelerated upon repeated calls.

    To split the set of point signs into groups and display them, the algorithm of an automatic clustering is implemented. In the "Classifier Editor" tools of clusters description are added. Description includes: views of objects relating to each type of cluster, cell sizes vertically and horizontally, semantics code to indicate the current number of objects in the cluster, view of a conventional sign of a cluster, a limiting percent of magnifying the size of a cluster's sign and the limiting number of objects, and the limiting number of objects, corresponding to the maximum size of the cluster sign. The cluster symbol can be programmable, that allows you by various ways to set off a type of a cluster and to change properties of a sign depending on number of objects in a cluster (signature of the number, size of a sign, brightness). When grouping in a virtual cluster cell more than one object of a given type, their conventional signs will automatically be replaced by a conventional sign of the cluster, the center of which will have an average coordinate of the objects included in it. When you change the scale, the cluster configuration automatically changes. Maps with clusters customized in the RSC classifier are automatically supported in all desktop and web applications, as well as in applications developed in the GIS ToolKit and GIS Constructor.

    Algorithm of creating signatures of objects according to their semantic characteristics is changed. At updating semantics of object there are automatically updated the corresponding semantics of all signatures created for the object in the "Map Editor" or in the task of "Creation of titles by objects semantics". The task of creating titles by objects semantics, taking into account the processing of multipolygons selected on the map, has been improved. A title is formed for each contour that belongs to the multipolygon and is put in accordance with the dialog settings.

    "Map Editor" task is improved. In the mode of creating a linear object, a new option "Add to object" is added, which provides a joining of the created contour to the contour of the already existing linear object on the map. The mode of the map editor "Paste & Cut - Cut of polygon object by object" has been improved. When cutting a polygon object, support of multipolygons is added. When an ordinary polygon object is cut, the result is ordinary polygonal ones. When cutting a multipolygon, the result is a multipolygon.

    "Select Object" dialog has been improved. In order to increase the information content of the object’s scheme, the color of the contours has been changed in the "Metric" bookmark: for ordinary objects, the main contour now is displayed in blue color, and subobjects - in pink color. In multipolygons, all external contours are displayed in blue color, the rest - in pink. The new color scheme allows you visually to verify the correctness of the subobjects occurrence. On the "Semantics" bookmark, the ability to disable sorting of the object characteristics table has been added. Data will be displayed in the sequence of their addition to the map object. Enabling/Disabling sorting can be done through the "Sort" context menu item.

    The mode "Image shutter" is improved. By means of this mode the analysis of various overlapping opaque images can be made by shifting their borders. Possibility to apply the "shutter" for matrixes and geoportals is added. The mode is started through the main menu View/Image shutter.

    The task "Saving vector map into file of BMP, TIFF, RSW format" has been improved. The mode of page-by-page saving of the map image to graphic files by page format is added.

    GIS "Panorama-editor" allows to create high-quality digital maps with use of the raster image of source cartographic materials, of materials of Remote Sensing of the Earth (results of air and space photographing of a terrestrial surface), and also of results of field geodetic measurements. Program includes advanced tools of quality check of a created vector map, tools of editing the raster image, tools of transforming of raster and vector data.

    Updating the "Panorama-editor" version 12 to version 13 till June, 1st, 2020 is free for users who purchased the "Panorama-editor" version 12 after December, 1st, 2018, as well as for those who have a valid technical support agreement for version 12.
