  • 28.12.2017 GIS "Panorama Mini" for Android OS processes digital maps of GIS "Panorama" format on mobile devices
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama Mini" for Android OS is developed. The program allows you to open the main formats of digital maps of GIS "Panorama" on mobile devices based on Android and to process the information from the built-in GPS/GLONASS receiver. The program is developed on the basis of toolkit "GIS Constructor for Qt Designer" (version for Android OS) which provides components for creation of the mobile applications working with digital maps.

    Users of GIS "Panorama Mini" for Android can combine the composition of the displayed vector maps (topographic, operational situation, nautical, aeronautical), matrix and raster data (Earth's remote sensing data). When selecting an object on the map, you can see information about its name, length, area and characteristics. The user is given the opportunity to determine his current position according to the coordinates received from the GPS/GLONASS receiver. When the user moves, the map window on the mobile device can be automatically centered at the point with the current coordinates. To save the coordinates received while moving, a track recording mode is provided, which creates a separate map and puts a trajectory onto it.Data with movement records can be copied from the mobile device for the further processing in the GIS "Panorama" or GIS Panorama Mini.

    The source texts of GIS "Panorama Mini" for Android OS are included into the software product "GIS Constructor for Qt Designer" and can be taken as a basis for creating your own mobile application. GIS "Panorama Mini" uses the programming interface MAPAPI, which implements displaying the sets of vector, raster and matrix maps, creating and editing vector maps, search of objects by a given set of attribute values, obtaining an information about map objects. Universality of the MAPAPI interface allows the developer to move the desktop GIS-application onto the mobile platform with minimal changes in the source code of the program.

    The libraries of access to digital maps from the "GIS Constructor for Qt Designer" are implemented in C ++, which allows you to build applications based on them, using various programming languages and frameworks, for example, Qt or Java.

  • 27.12.2017 Training-presentation materials on work with GIS WebServer SE are updated
    Specialists of KB "Panorama" have updated training-presentation materials on working with GIS WebServer SE. Geoinformation system is implemented on cloud technologies and is designed for building various information geoportals. The program automates the publication of the changing spatial data based on web services. With its help, you can create and edit data layers, provide access to user data from any computer, create thematic maps and cartograms. The application builds a three-dimensional model on open vector maps, matrixes of elevations and terrain images without preparation of model, performs search of the shortest routes by the graph of roads.

    GIS WebServer SE, together with server applications the GIS WebService SE, GIS WebToolKit SE, GIS Server, are included into the "Geoportal Region" software package. The software package is designed for maintenance of a spatial data bank, the publication of digital cartographic information, remote sensing data, organisations of remote interaction with automated control systems, terrain monitoring systems and others.

    On the gisserver.ru website the demonstration thematic geoportals (municipal, agrarian, transport and others), implemented on the basis of GIS WebServer SE are presented. For each of examples the short description and gallery of screenshots are published.

  • 26.12.2017 GIS "Operator" improves accuracy of geodetic and navigation calculations
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" version 12.5.3 for power structures is developed. In the new version of the program in the task "GLONASS/GPS monitor" and in the dialog "Coordinate calculation" of the task "Map Computer" the automatic connecting the geoid model EGM2008 was added for accounting at the conversion of geodetic and normal heights. Into the installation of GIS "Operator", a geoid model with a 2.5 minute increment is included - egm2008_2.5min.mtw. A more accurate model (1 minute) is posted on the site.

    Into the View Passport task there is added a new type of maps "Topographic PZ-90.11" (Pulkovo2017), based on application of the PZ-90.11 ellipsoid and the Gauss-Krueger projection. The average level of the world ocean (geoid) corresponding to the model EGM2008 is set as the vertical datum (altitude system). The task of Creation of rule adds support for a new type of map.

    Work with database SQLite for pyramids of tiles in format Mbtiles is implemented. You can open the data from the main menu File - Open. Mbtiles format is convenient for storing tile data, since it consists of one file. Satellite images in TIFF format can contain tens of gigabytes of information, therefore they are slowly displayed. To speed up the display and preserve the quality of the data, they are converted to the Mbtiles format. You can convert data into Mbtiles format using the Imagery Creator program. In the "Select Object" dialog box, in the "Metric" tab there is added the displaying and editing the geocentric coordinates of the object computed for the map ellipsoid or WGS-84 ellipsoid.

    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data", map of the Nizhny Novgorod region, formed according to OpenStreetMap data, was updated. Source data obtained from the GIS-Lab website are complemented by objects from maps of scale 1: 1 000 000. There are added the objects of hydrography, vegetation, road network. For work with the received maps it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 22.12.2017 "Workstation of urban-planner" increases the speed of processing large amounts of data when updating the town planning database by cadastral information
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of urban-planner" version 12.5.3 is developed. In the new version there is refined the technology of updating information in the registers of the municipal database with information from the real estate cadastre. Information on territorial zones, land plots, capital construction objects, engineering networks and other real estate objects are placed in the system registers, and their boundaries are displayed on the cadastral map with special conventional symbols. The cadastral map of the municipal formation for collective use is located on the GIS Server.

    In the new version, the mode "Import of cadastral data from the semantics of map objects" provides for simultaneous updating the boundaries of the objects of municipal accounting on the map and information in the registers of the urban development database according to data from the XML documents "cadastral territory plan". Time for updating attributes in database registers is reduced at processing large amounts of cadastral information. The list of imported information about land plots and capital construction objects is expanded for synchronisation with information provided from the Unified State Real Estate Register. In the IOSGD registry, the process of searching and visualizing information about documents from the "Case on the land plot" by the cadastral number of the land plot or the capital construction object has been simplified.

  • 21.12.2017 GIS WebServer SE provides tools of work with personal projects of maps and builds three-dimensional models of forestland
    GIS WebServer SE version 3.6 is developed in KB "Panorama". The new version of the program adds the ability to work with projects of the map. The project contains options for various parameters of application: the address of geodata sources, contents of map layers, the original map scale, location, composition of the map tools, and their parameters. Switching projects, it is possible interactively to change composition of data and the map controls for the analysis or editing of layers. Customizing the map projects and access rights to them is performed in the updated administration module.

    There are improved the quality of displaying three-dimensional objects, smoothness of moving and rotation of 3D models. The method of processing templates of filling signs is improved. The method optimally places signs on the earth's surface, that creates a real picture of the terrain. Example of working with three-dimensional map objects can be viewed on the site. Into "Map Editor" the group operations are added at moving, rotating and scaling map objects. Module "Map Computer" provides the ability to search for objects by common semantics.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development.   • 15.12.2017 GIS "Panorama" implements new mathematical methods for processing remote sensing data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.5.3 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version of the program into the task "Analysis of multispectral images" the mode of panchromatic merging of rasters is added. It allows you to increase the resolution of a color raster with use of the higher-resolution panchromatic image. Multispectral data often contains a panchromatic channel of higher-resolution, by merging with it, you can improve the visual characteristics of a color raster. The merge is performed in one of three ways: by the averaging over channels, by transformation through the IHS color space, and using the method of Transformation of Brovey.

    Into the task of Map Editor a new mode "Building the azimuth circle" is added. The azimuth circle is a set of closed circles of a preset radius and the straight lines divergent in all directions in accordance with specified indicators of angles. Values of radiuses and angles of the azimuth circle are drawn onto the map in the form of explanatory labels. The parameters of lines and labels can be set by the user when building the azimuth circle.

    The task of Restructuring map sheets by template is improved. There is accelerated the execution of cutting the source map into sheets of the output map with the transformation of projection. Speed of transformation and cutting of maps is increased at 10-12 times due to multi-threaded processing on multi-core processors. There is added support for cutting multi-polygons from the source map (previously it was required to convert multipolygons to individual polygons before cutting).

    In procedure for export of the data to the SHP format the possibility is added for a choice of arranging the output data (each layer in a separate folder or all data sets in one folder). There is added the possibility to save and restore parameters of data export, including the composition of layers, objects and their attributes in DBF, in the file of parameters.

    Mode "Reading the cadastral plan of territory and updating the map" is updated. Possibility is added for recording the information about created and the updated cadastral objects into the protocol. The protocol with the file name "map name.txt" is created in the folder of the map's INI file location. The structure of the log file corresponds to the file with delimiters (CSV). The protocol file can be downloaded for analysis in Microsotf Excel or analog.

  • 13.12.2017 GIS WebService SE provides direct access to arrays of tile data in the SQLite database
    GIS WebService SE version 11.10.1 is developed in KB "Panorama". The new version of the service adds support for SQLite databases in Mbtiles and TBIR format. These formats are convenient for storing tile data, since they consist of one file (Mbtiles) or several (TBIR). On average, tiles in Mbtiles and TBIR format take up to 30% less hard disk space compared to individual files. The speed of access to the tile from the SQLite database is comparable with the speed of access to the tiles folder. Use of Mbtiles format will simplify and speed up the process of transferring tiles between servers and hard disks.

    In the new version of service a support of international standard OGC WFS-T is improved. The service allows you to process objects whose coordinates go beyond the dimensions of the standard tiles pyramids (-180 and 180 degrees). This allows users to correctly edit or create objects, for example on the Chukchi Peninsula, using GIS WebServer SE.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), through which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program provides the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web-servers.

  • 08.12.2017 GIS ToolKIt Active 12 creates geoinformation applications and embedded components in any development environment with support for ActiveX technology
    KB "Panorama" created the toolkit of the developer of geoinformation systems the GIS ToolKit Active version 12. The new version allows you to create 32x and 64-bit applications in any development environment that supports ActiveX technology, for example, Visual Studio, 1C, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Access. GIS ToolKit Active comes with component source code and usage examples. The product provides the use of all kinds of spatial data (geodatabases) prepared in the GIS "Panorama", including those imported from the exchange formats of other geographic information systems (MIF/MID, DXF, SHAPE, KML, GDF).

    GIS ToolKit Active contains a set of visual and non-visual components that allow you to use spatial and attributive data to display and perform special calculations. Using these components, geoinformation systems of various levels (federal, regional, municipal, corporate) are created. The toolkit supports the local, state and international coordinate systems (parameters of more than 4 000 different coordinate systems are included into the delivery). An extensive geospatial data bank is available to use the toolkit.

    The geo-database can be located either in the workplace (direct access to data) or in the local network or the Internet (using the components of access to the GIS Server or data exchange over the international protocols WMS, WFS, WCS, WMTS). The toolkit provides access to spatial data published by geoportals from different manufacturers, including predefined settings for popular geoportals: Yandex, Google, Rosreestr, Panorama, Kosmosnimki, Navitel, Mail, Air traffic monitoring and others. The list of available geoportals is constantly expanding. Data from geoportals can be combined with spatial data on the client. There is a set of methods for managing the visualization parameters of WMS-rasters (transparency, brightness, contrast).

    The components set allows creating monitoring systems for mobile objects that store coordinate descriptions in popular databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgre SQL). The using the special components of navigation and managing the geodatabase allows to simplify work with vast territories.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" on the website gisinfo.ru finalized the section "Legislation", containing regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation in PDF format. Possibility is implemented for search of documents, from among stored on the server, by the name, number, kind. As a result of the search, a list of document headings is formed, clicking on which you can get acquainted with the full contents of the normative legal document. All documents in PDF format stored on the server are obtained from official sources of the legislative bodies of the Russian Federation.

    The mobile version of the site gisinfo.ru has been finalized. On the main page of the information resource, a news presentation in the form of a list is realized. During the page scrolling down to the list, the previously published news are downloaded. In mobile version the section with popular news is added. If necessary, visitors can switch to the full version of the site by clicking on the button of the same name in the bottom of the page.

  • 28.11.2017 A kit of geographic maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 is supplemented with a map of Japan
    KB "Panorama" prepared a digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF onto territory of Japan. VMap0 data obtained according to information from the website www.gis-lab.info has served as source for map's preparation. The map contains information about the quantity of inhabitants for cities and the names of settlements in Russian. As additional materials the World Map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale from 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc).

    It can be used for the general estimation of district and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks. The map is distributed free according to the free licence.

  • 22.11.2017 ImageryCreator uses cloud technologies for formation of tiles files Big Data
    In KB "Panorama" the ImageryCreator version 9.3.1 is developed. The new version of the program allows you to use cloud technologies to configure projects and generate tiles on the server. A single user interface provides the ability to administrate the process of preparation and cutting of tiles from any workplace via the Internet and the browser remotely. Thus, the program is easily scaled and allows to form for few minutes the files of tiles Big Data consisting, of billions of tiles.

    The program administrator can run different projects from one workstation on different servers. The user interface helps the administrator to monitor the progress of the process of cutting tiles, to switch between existing projects, to set the parameters for cutting (scale, view, format, projection, etc.).

    The program allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8 and Mbtiles according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. The tile data generated by the ImageryCreator program are used by software the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.   • 13.11.2017 Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data automates the management of spatial data onto any territory
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data version 3.8 is developed. The bank's storehouse can include hundreds of gigabytes of spatial information and contain vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrixes, terrain models and other types of data.

    The new version automates the creation of backup sets of data, control of the integrity of data sets and their recovery. Automatic creating one or two backup copies of downloadable data sets with the distributed storage for different data groups is carried out. In the metadata control procedure, a check of backup copies availability in accordance with the group settings is added. It supports automatic updating of metadata maps-schemes, import and export of metadata, automatic updating of geo-covers.

    The accounting of executed requests for obtaining the spatial data is conducted. Service of conducting requests provides the ability to form requests on data acquisition from storehouse to users who have not the right to direct downloading. At requests formation, there are available the tools of search for data sets by a data format, projection, by year of the terrain's state, date of updating, scale, territorial binding.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator").

    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides construction of cloud storehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrices and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file storehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

  • 03.11.2017 In GIS WebService SE the possibilities of management by spatial data on Big Data architecture are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 11.9 is developed. New version of service allows to implement the unified access to databases of spatial data and metadata under control of architecture Big Data. Databases can include hundreds of gigabytes of spatial information and contain cadastral, navigational, topographic and other types of data. GIS WebService SE carries out classification of objects by attributes and makes computing operations with data (gives the area, length or center of the object on the map). New possibilities allow to simplify process and technology of interaction of users with large volumes of spatial data.

    To perform overlay operations with data, objects can be selected from different layers and bounded by a border. In order to minimize the number of requests and speed up the process of displaying data on the client (with the help of caching), the service provides empty images beyond the size of the layer.

    During customizing the projects in the Web administrator of service the user can choose language of work convenient for him. By default, support for two languages is included (Russian and English). To add a new language, you can connect new localization files.

    GIS WebServiсe SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS) with help of which the transmission and display of the spatial data is carried out.   • 02.11.2017 At conference "Agro management 2017" in Belgorod the agrarian decisions of KB "Panorama" are presented
    KB "Panorama" took part in the work of the section "Crop production" of the VI international industrial conference "Agro management 2017", which was held in Belgorod from October 25 to 27. The organizer of the conference was Ltd. "CenterProgrammSystem".

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" introduced the presentation "Application of GIS in agriculture". The issues of providing automation of business processes in the crop sector were considered. The content of the report aroused great interest of the conference participants. Within the section work there were held the meetings with representatives of the companies the Rostselmash, AFG National, AIST and other manufacturers of agricultural machinery, software and crop production. As a result of the negotiations, a number of agreements have been reached aimed at developing own agrarian line of geoinformation systems, including "Panorama AGRO", "Workstation of Agronomist", GIS WebServer AGRO.

    The complex of the presented programs is the tool providing the decision of the basic problems causing success in the conditions of the modern market: presence of the timely objective information, ability to accept correct administrative decisions and an opportunity to realize these decisions in practice.


    The combination of these products, as well as their interaction with the cartographic GIS Server and the professional GIS "Panorama" allow to create the distributed scalable computing systems that provide a single geographic information space for the agro-enterprise. The "Agro-management" conferences are held annually in Belgorod, starting from 2012. The main goal of the event is to demonstrate examples of import substitution of foreign technologies by Russian developments, advanced experience of agricultural enterprises using innovations to improve the efficiency of agricultural production. More than 200 managers, masters and experts of agribusiness, leading domestic and foreign specialists in the field of development and integration took part in the event.

  • 01.11.2017 GIS Server expands tools of creating and displaying databases of spatial data for various purposes
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.4.3 is developed. The new version provides complete management of spatial databases of arbitrary structure. There is implemented a direct editing of databases records with fields of different types, containing the coordinates of objects. Fields of spatial description of objects are supported for DBMS of Oracle, and PostgreSQL is SDO_GEOMETRY, St_Geometry ArcSDE, St_Geometry PostGIS. Database connection parameters, coordinate system code, library of conventional symbols and table fields assignment are customized by the GIS Server Administrator. For compensation of absence of some information layers and some attributes in a database (titles, kilometer grids, filling signs, undirected point signs - bridges, buildings and so on) in the GIS "Panorama" are implemented an automatic procedures on arrangement of titles, formation of grids, a turn of signs and others. It provides editing of data in multi-user mode with high intensity, including support for applications that transmit data in automatic mode. On the client's monitor, the map will have the same appearance and be edited by the same tools, regardless of how the data is stored on the server-in data sets or in a database. The assembly of information by layers stored in various tables (one cover can be collected from more than a hundred tables) is performed automatically at the time of access to the data. Different layers can be located in different bases and in data sets as part of general image of the territory.

    GIS Server automates the creation of backup sets of data in the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data, control of integrity of data sets and their recovery. Automatic creating one or two backup copies of downloadable into the Databank of data sets with distributed storage of backups for different data groups is performed. In procedure of control of the databank metadata a check of backup copies availability in accordance with the group settings is added. In the absence of the first or second backup copies the automatic formation of a copy of the main data set and auxiliary files (classifiers, metadata, images, etc.) is carried out. Automatic recovery of data sets is ensured if there are two identical backup copies in the Data Bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data.

    The possibility is added for transferring the arbitrary (user) metadata for data sets loaded into the Data Bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data directly in the list of xml format sets. In the list of downloadable sets, you can specify metadata for both the entire data list and for each set individually.

    The network-centric architecture of storing and processing data is realized due to the distribution of data storage functions and the provision of access to them onto a group of servers united into the network, with automatic duplication and replication of transmitted information, with the ability to function in the event of failure of individual servers by readdressing requests and issuing a copy of data stored on an inaccessible server. Replication of information is carried out in the minimum necessary volume: the description of only updated (coordinates or attributes) or created objects is transferred. GIS Server is intended to provide remote access to the spatial data for users of programs the GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator", GIS WebService SE and others. GIS Server is certified in the information security system.

    On the updated website of KB "Panorama" gisserver.ru the demo thematic geoportals (municipal, agrarian, transport and others)are presented. For each of the examples a short description and a gallery of screenshots are published.

    Information geoportal "Noginsk District. The reference information on Noginsk District" may be as an example of construction of a municipal GIS for administrations of oblasts, districts, cities, settlements and other territorial units. The urban area is formed on the basis of digital plans of cities, snapshots, relief data and can be represented in the form of a traditional map or a volumetric terrain model. The geoportal provides the means for solving a direct and inverse geodetic task; calculation of distances, areas, angles; constructing an optimal route of travel between two points and others. The user interface allows you to print a map with your own comments. The geoportal is easily integrated into existing information systems.

    Agroportal provides an opportunity for agricultural producers to access the agricultural GIS of the enterprise from anywhere in the world. The geoportal is intended for management of agriculture, provides creation of a digital map of contours of fields of an economy, conducting a base of soil fertility and an electronic corded book of history of fields. On the basis of indicators of agrochemical composition of soils and information on crop rotations the technological maps are formed and planning of the mechanised works is carried out. The agroportal is integrated with the monitoring system for agricultural machinery and vehicles and includes services for automating various calculations, including: the need for mineral fertilizers, mileage of vehicles, the processed area arable land and others. The results of the calculations can be presented in the form of thematic cartograms displayed together with background information, cadastral data and agricultural land contours for visualization of the analyzed indicator (crop distribution, planned and actual yield, sowing or harvesting works, etc.).

    On the portal "Bank of spatial data" possibilities are presented for the organisation of storing, accounting and issuing cartographic materials in vector, raster and matrix form. The portal contains vector maps in SXF format, formed on the basis of data from open sources (OpenStreetMap, VMap0). The spatial data includes maps: of subjects of the Russian Federation, countries and cities of near and far abroad. In total there are more than 160 maps. All published maps are distributed free of charge under a free license.

    Geoportal of the open data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has been developed by the company's specialists within the bounds of the preparation for VIII International Salon "Integrated Security 2015". The Web application provides systematized information about the forces of the Unified State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies and on the objects of the economy and infrastructure on the territory of the Russian Federation.

    All information geoportals presented on the gisserver.ru website, are implemented on the basis of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 27.10.2017 GIS "Panorama" with the help of geoportals shows the changes in traffic, weather and other events in the time mode close to the real
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" of version 12.5.2 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version, the task of connecting geoportals has been refined. Support of a new geoportal is added for realisation of monitoring the movement of aircraft. Geoportal "Monitoring the Air Traffic" uses the public web service Flightradar24, which allows real-time monitoring of the situation of aircrafts, being in air. To view the current position of the aircraft in the program it is necessary to connect a geoportal "Monitoring the Air Traffic", to set the period of updating the image of the program window for 5 seconds, and to turn on the property "Update of WMS layers". In the process of monitoring, detailed information about the selected flight is available: airport of departure and arrival, travel time, model, speed, direction of movement, altitude and other parameters. Aircraft on the map are displayed with various conventional symbols from the classifier service.rsc depending on their model, dimensions, seating capacity. In total into the classifier service.rsc 16 new conventional symbols for a designation of aircraft were added. Among them, such lines of aircraft as SuperJet, TU, IL, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault aviation and others. The user can change the image of conventional symbols and expand the list of available aircraft models in the "Classifier Editor". GIS "Panorama" allows you to work with dynamic data coming from geoportals (various types of transport, road, rural and forest economy, hydrometeorology and ecological monitoring of the environment, subsoil use and others).
    The parameters of the local coordinate system of the Republic of Crimea for zone 1 and zone 2 are added into the file "LCS of RF Subjects.XML", which provides the storage of the list of parameters of local coordinate systems. The choice of coordinate system parameters from the file is carried out in the task of "Map Passport" and in dialogs the "Setting projection parameters of a raster" and "Setting projection parameters of a matrix". Local coordinate systems are set for making geodetic and topographical works in engineering surveying, construction and operation of buildings and constructions, land surveying, conducting cadastres and realisation of other special works.
    The task "Check of vector map quality" is improved. The vector map is checked in accordance with the selected control scheme containing a list of types and parameters of check. The report with results of control is sent to the HTML-file. The file format of the scheme of control parameters is changed from binary CXM onto textual XML. In a folder \Control.Dot\ the XML-files of schemes of control parameters with *.CXML extension have been updated.

    A new mode "Reading the cadastral plan of territory and updating the map" is developed, which provides stream reading of several XML-files using two XML schemes of the cadastral plan of territory (CPT): V09_KPT and extract_cadastral_plan_territory_v01. The files corresponding to the scheme extract_cadastral_plan_territory_v01 are received within the framework of interdepartmental electronic interaction and are used in state and municipal authorities. The mode supports the processing of new types of cadastral objects: "water body", "land plot by land survey project", "zone, territory, natural object". During the processing of information read from the XML-CPT file, a search is performed on the map of the corresponding cadastral object and a decision is made to update the information on the map. To update the cadastral map, in addition to the cadastral number, the registry (accounting) number of the cadastral object is used as identification information. The digital classifier survey.v5.rsc was updated. In the updated classifier, new cadastral objects and semantics have been added to the layer "Cadastral plan of the territory", that are necessary to automate the process of updating the cadastral information.
    The task of "Opening data from the GIS Server" is refined. There is implemented the opening and addition into the current document of the list of the documents belonging to the selected node of the data tree. Actions are performed using the pop-up menu on the right button when the node of the map tree, rasters or matrices is activated.

    In the mode "Mark for equivalent image" the possibility is added for a choice of graphic objects (not having code from the classifier) with selection of all objects having conterminous graphic parameters (conventional symbol) .
    The mode "Create objects from the XML file of real estate cadastre" is improved in the part of mapping objects with no coordinates - conditional objects. For conditional objects, the conditional coordinates are calculated according to the coordinates of the center of the cadastral quarter in which they are located. The algorithm of reading XML-files containing cadastral data in several coordinate systems is improved.

  • 24.10.2017 GIS WebServer SE expands cloud computing by tools for solving geodetic tasks and 3D modelling
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE versions 3.5 is developed. The new version of the program implements the possibility of online solving a direct and inverse geodetic task on a plane. By means of this mode users can carry out an interactive choice of terrain points and entering the required values of azimuth and distance between points. The results of calculations are displayed on the map and in the form.

    Modes of selection of map objects are expanded - there are added a selection of objects randomly specified on a map and a selection of objects by a conventional symbol of the selected object. Into the module "Editor of a map" the group operations are added at deleting map objects. Users can delete all selected objects, or select the ones required in the group.

    Ability is added to share a link to a 3D map. The status of the 3D map display is saved between sessions. You can see an example of the work of a three-dimensional map on the site.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

  • 13.10.2017 Databank of digital maps and Earth
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and ERS version 3.7 is developed. The new version adds the functions of importing and exporting metadata in XML format. This makes it possible to organize a centralized repository of spatial data and metadata in one organization, while other organizations transmit only metadata. Such a mechanism is necessary when it is not possible to organize direct access to the data bank on information security requirements and in other cases.

    The metadata contains complete information about the stored data sets, including information about the territory, the date of the terrain condition, the accuracy, the coordinate system, the data format, the organization storing the source materials.

    After receiving the metadata, they are imported into the complex of Data bank of digital maps and Earth's Remote Sensing (ERS). It allows to use all means of searching for sets of spatial data, to form requests on their obtaining from the centralised storehouse, to print reports and inquiries, to carry out scheduling on gathering and processing the data.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data realises gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected by means of the program can be placed for the multiuser access on the GIS Server and be published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on application server the GIS WebService SE. Users can access data from both a thin client (by means of GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator").

    The databank of digital maps and ERS data provides construction of cloud storehouse of spatial data, provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, elevation matrices and terrain models. It provides remote placing the sets of spatial data into file storehouse, keeping versions of stored sets, updating maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

  • 12.10.2017 GIS "Panorama" version 12 is certified for use as software products in construction
    The certification body for software products in construction issued a certificate of conformity No. RA.RU. AB86.H01044 for the program complex "Panorama". The general requirements for the safety of buildings and constructions, as well as the design processes associated with buildings and constructions (including engineering surveys), constructing, installation, commissioning, operation and disposal (demolition) are defined in Federal Law No.384-FZ of December 30, 2009 "Technical Regulations on the safety of buildings and structures". The program complex "Panorama" is certified for compliance with the normative documents defined by No.384-FZ and GOST R of the series ISO, ISO/IEC.

    Software the GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-editor", GIS Panorama Mini, "Complex of geodetic calculations", "Complex of geological tasks", "Complex of hydrological tasks" and "Complex of urban-planning tasks" correspond to the sections and clauses of normative documents specified in the conclusion to the certificate. A set of programs for creating and editing digital maps and city plans, processing of remote sensing data, maintaining a digital classifier, processing geodetic measurements and calculations, processing geological and environmental research materials, building 3D models, preparing project graphic documents in electronic and printed form has undergone a comprehensive check. The tasks solved by the software correspond to the provisions of SP 47.13330.2012 - Updated version of SNiP 11-02-96 "Engineering surveys for construction", SP 126.13330.2012 - Updated version of SNiP 3.01.03-84 "Geodetic work in construction", GOST 21.508-93 "SPDS: Rules for the implementation of working documentation of general plans for enterprises, structures and civil and housing projects".

    Digital maps, general plans, large-scale plans of the territories of enterprises, engineering survey materials, graphic and text design documents, digital models of buildings and constructions, and other digital information about the terrain and construction conditions are placed for collective use on the GIS Server, providing remote access to data with differentiation user rights. A set of GIS "Panorama" and GIS Server software implements end-to-end technology with automatic updating of the repeating graphic data in various drawings, schemes and plans. Centralized storage of spatial data on the server allows you efficiently and easily to manage changes in the project and operational documentation. When you make a specific change to a project, it is immediately displayed in all views: on plans of floors, facade or sections.

  • 10.10.2017 In Imagery Creator the speed of tiles formation in Mbtiles format is increased more than in 10 times
    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Creator version 9.3 is developed. The new version of the program allows you to create a large number of tiles in a minimal amount of time by recording data blocks as separate transactions. The use of this technology will allow to reduce the time for preparation of data for their further use in the programs GIS WebServer SE and GIS WebService SE.

    Imagery Creator automatically excludes empty tiles (not containing information) for optimal use of free space on the hard disk. For example, it takes less than 3 minutes to store more than 1 500 000 tiles in the database. Saving the same amount of tiles to disk in the form of files takes about 5 minutes. Use of SQLite has several advantages: on average, tiles take up 30% less space on the hard disk, all data are stored in one file, so the process of transferring tiles between servers and hard disks is simplified and is accelerated in several times.

    The program allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8 and Mbtiles according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. The tile data generated by the Imagery Creator program are used by GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE software to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

The new version is adapted for work in the development environments of Embarcadero RAD Studio, Delphi and C++ Builder version 10.2 Tokyo. The installation of the GIS ToolKit 12 tools is also possible into Starter releases of the mentioned development environments. Embarcadero company provides the ability to download Delphi Starter and C++ Builder Starter and their free use under certain conditions. These conditions, in particular, include limiting the number of team developers - no more than 5 people, as well as not exceeding the income from the use of Starter products over $ 1000.   • 06.10.2017 GIS Server simplifies the publication of spatial data bases within information systems
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.4 is developed. In the new version the tools for publication of the information from the spatial databases operated by DBMS Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and others are refined. Possibility is added to set conventional symbols of database objects by the alphanumeric code stored in a separate field of the database table. The alphanumeric code is an analog of the classification integer code and is also used to encode conventional symbols of objects. In the Classifier Editor of the GIS "Panorama" the possibility is available to enter not only digital codes, but also arbitrary strings in national languages (alphanumeric code). Its main destination is the specifying a mutual conformity of conventional symbols of objects on digital maps and combinations of values of objects attributes, including a code, in databases and other sources of the information. When connecting to a database, the GIS Server has the ability to define a coordinate system in which the spatial description of objects in the database is stored. If the coordinate system and projection parameters specified by the application's settings for displaying the cartographic representation coincide with the parameters of storing of spatial data in the database, the GIS Server does not perform additional operations for transformation of coordinates. If the parameters of the projection and the coordinate system for storing of spatial data in the database differ from the established parameters for cartographical representation of this data on the GIS Server, the transformation of the spatial description of the objects in the database is performed by the DBMS tools directly into the coordinate system of the cartographic representation. Previously, such recalculations were carried out in two stages: at first, the coordinates were converted from the original system to WGS84, and then from WGS84 to the target coordinate system. The coordinate system and projection parameters for both information in the database and for its cartographic representation on the GIS Server are determined by the EPSG code. Such approach accelerates the publication of spatial databases of great volumes.

  • 02.10.2017 KB "Panorama" took part in the international exhibition INTERGEO 2017 in Berlin
    In the period from 26 to 28 September 2017, Berlin hosted the International Conference and Trade Fair for Geodesy, Geoinformation and Land Management INTERGEO 2017. The participants of the exhibition demonstrated modern developments and innovative technologies in the field of geoinformatics, photogrammetry, geology, geoengineering and other areas.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" presented software solutions at the exhibition, allowing to perform a full cycle of works on processing and publication of spatial data. Participants of the event showed great interest in software products: GIS "Panorama" with applied tasks, GIS WebServer SE, GIS Server, Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data and others.

    The stand of our company was very popular among representatives of different countries: China, India, Germany, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Russia, Egypt, Azerbaijan and others. The greatest interest in the use of spatial data in the software solutions of KB "Panorama" was caused by such directions as processing and analysis of a large amount of data, application of service-oriented technologies, creation of vector maps by orthophotomaps and satellite images, generalization of data, monitoring of data and mobile objects, web-technologies in GIS.

    It was pleasant to see a considerable quantity of professional visitors from Russia. For example, for a delegation from JSC "SUEK" our company was able to offer software solutions for the tasks of mapping open coal mines using UAVs. The topic of using UAVs of various classes for the creation of aerial photography was at the exhibition of one of the dominant topic by a variety of models of aircraft and the variants of their application.

  • 22.09.2017 Digital map classifier for forest management is updated taking into account the provisions of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation
    KB "Panorama" developed a digital classifier for cartographic works on forest management (forestry.v2.zip). It was finalized taking into account the provisions of the Forestry Code of the Russian Federation of 04.12.2006 N 200-FZ (as amended on 01.07.2017). The library of conventional symbols can be used in the designing the forestry and forest parks, operational forests, protective forests, stand-by forests, and also specially protected forest areas. Classifier takes into account the requirements of the "Forest Management Instructions" and provides information support for the designing the forest areas, forest inventory and performing state forest inventory, designing measures for protection and reproduction of forests.

    The set of conventional forestry symbols determines the structure of spatial data base of the forest management and ensures the creation of a large variety of forest maps in the GIS "Panorama" environment. Creation of graphic documents of various scale, detail and territory coverage is supported: map of the region's forests (krai, republic); map-scheme of forest and timber processing infrastructure; map-scheme of afforestation; scheme and plan of forestry; forest management tablet; overview plan; map-scheme of fire-prevention measures; map scheme of forest resources bases and others. The classifier includes a list of objects and the attributes necessary for informational support of phytosanitary and fire-prevention monitoring of forests.

    The digital classifier forestry.v2 implements support for "end-to-end" technologies for processing and analyzing spatial data of forest inventory and forest monitoring. For information support of forest exploitation processes, digital forest maps can be placed for collective access on the GIS Server and published on the geoportal by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 21.09.2017 Urban portal demonstrates the capabilities of KB "Panorama" technologies for integration of spatial data into the digital economy of the Russian Federation
    In KB "Panorama" according to the data from open sources and public information of the documents of territorial planning, a demonstration Portal of urban development was prepared. The displayed spatial data includes background and sectoral graphic layers: borders of municipalities, red lines, rules of land use and development, social infrastructure facilities, garden associations.

    The Web application of the urban development portal is implemented on the basis of the standard GIS WebServer by simple configuration and customization of the displayed elements. Spatial Data Base is operated by the GIS Server that provides collective access to digital maps, images and databases. The publication of graphical layers by unified geo-service protocols is performed by the tools of GIS WebService SE. The preparation of industry data layers was carried out in the GIS "Panorama" environment. When creating the rules of land use and development, red lines and registers of municipal accounting objects, the library of conventional symbols was used corresponding to the order of the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation of January 30, 2012, β„–. 19 "On Approval of Requirements for Describing and Displaying in Territorial Planning Documents of Objects of Federal Significance, objects of regional significance, objects of local significance ", supplemented by conventional symbols in accordance with the town planning regulations of the Moscow Region. For information interaction with the Federal State Information System for Territorial Planning, sector data can be uploaded to the GML exchange format according to the scheme of spatial data corresponding to the order of the Ministry of Economic Development β„–. 793 of 07.12.2016 "On Approving Requirements for Describing and Displaying in the Documents of the Territorial Planning of Objects of Federal Significance, Objects regional significance, objects of local significance".

    The portal for urban development demonstrates the possibilities of KB Panorama's end-to-end technologies for creating, updating, publishing and using spatial data of territorial planning. Software products used in the construction of the portal are the basic components of information technologies implementing the provisions of the program "Digital Economy of the Russian Federation".

  • 20.09.2017 GIS WebServer SE for OS Astra Linux SE expands solution tools of navigation tasks
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3.4 is developed for protected operating system Astra Linux SE (Release "Smolensk"). In the new version of the program the possibility is added for cyclic displaying and moving of the two-dimensional image of a map along a longitude, similar to the rotation of the globe. When solving various navigational tasks, this functionality allows you to view continents, cities, countries, analyze their relative location, regardless of the standard range of longitude Β± 180?. The system of measurements on the map is updated. In the mode of measuring the path length the calculation of orthodromic distances is added. The calculated lines of orthodrome are drawn on the map.

    In the new version of the program at displaying spherical model of the Earth the map of stars with constellations and the Sun is shown. When you change the location, the map in real time calculates the current position of each star and planet seen from Earth, taking into account the current date and time of day. The star map displays 5024 stars and 88 constellations.

    The tool of clustering objects markers is refined. Object markers are clustered according to the criterion of their distance from each other. Clustering of object markers is performed according to the criterion of their distance from each other. When the scale of the map is reduced, markers are merged into clusters with indicating the number of markers in it. When you click on the icon, the scale of the map is increased, the cluster is split into separate labels of objects and clusters. Data of objects for clustering is described in GeoJSON format. You can customize the appearance of clustering icons. In the administration module the use of domain groups and users is simplified at customization of access rights. At change of the list of groups or users of the domain a recustomizing of access rights for them in the application is not required.

    To access spatial data, GIS WebServer SE uses the GIS WebService SE application server, which within the single geoinformation space provides access to data in accordance with international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS. To provide multi-user access to data, the GIS Server is used. As a source of spatial data, the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be, which provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

  • 19.09.2017 At agrarian conference in Samara the "end-to-end" technologies of GIS "Panorama" for building a digital enterprise were demonstrated
    In Samara, from September 12 to September 15, the XIX International Conference "Complex systems: control and modeling problems" was held. KB "Panorama" took part in the work of the section "Information management systems in climatically optimized plant growing, monitoring of resources and crops". Our specialists presented the report "GIS as a basis to form a digital enterprise". During a meeting the application of the software of KB "Panorama" (GIS "Panorama AGRO", GIS "Panorama", GIS "Server" and others) for construction of system of gathering, accumulation and the publication of spatial data was demonstrated.

    The software products of KB Panorama fully meet one of the main goals of direction of development of the digital economy related to the information infrastructure identified in the "Digital economy of the Russian Federation" program - the creation of an effective system for collecting, processing, storing and providing spatial data to consumers that meets the needs of the state, business and citizens in current and reliable information about spatial objects.

    As part of the work of the section, negotiations were held with representatives of Rostselmash, CLAAS, Amazon and other producers of agricultural machinery and software. As a result of the meeting, a number of agreements were reached aimed at improving the agrarian line of geoinformation systems, including "Panorama AGRO", "Workstaion of Agronomist", GIS WebServer AGRO.   • 12.09.2017 GIS WebServer AGRO provides agronomists with remote access for rapid entering actually completed work
    GIS WebServer AGRO version 2.3 is developed in KB "Panorama". The new version implements maintenance of field technological maps from a remote base of soil fertility in the GIS "Panorama AGRO". Technological map is a document reflecting the production technology. It indicates the ongoing agricultural operations and the technical means necessary for their implementation. The technological maps reflect the list of operations, their chronological sequence, agrotechnical requirements for the production of works, brands of vehicles and agricultural machines, their number and production rates. Field mapss take into account the area of the contour of agricultural land and contain information on the composition and amount of material inputs for the cultivation of crops.

    Such documents are developed for all combinations of cultivated crops and intensification of agricultural technologies. Remote Web access provides the agronomists with an interface for entering the actual data of the technological map of a particular working area of arable land directly into the field. In the new version the system of measurements on the map is updated. In the mode of measuring the path length, calculation of large distances is added taking into account the curvature of the Earth. The calculated lines are drawn on the map. The ability is added for expanding the list of available spatial data sources to perform address search.

    The program is aimed at specialists in the area of agriculture and is an extension of the GIS Panorama AGRO to work with the structure of sown areas and the infrastructure of an agricultural enterprise using WEB technologies. As a source of spatial data, GIS WebServer AGRO uses multi-platform cartographical service the GIS WebService SE.     Specialists of KB "Panorama" developed an instruction for the installation and configuration of GIS WebServer SE. It shows the basic positions of installing the application in OS Windows with a set of IIS servers.

    There are shown a simplicity of installing GIS WebServer SE, a quick transition from the beginning of the installation phase to the work of the finished geoportal. In the instruction the configuring of key parametres of work of the application through the remote administration module is shown, all necessary stages of the geoportal deployment from scratch are noted.

    GIS WebServer SE setup wizard will help you install the product in steps and complete all the basic settings. The continuity of the versions provides an easy upgrade of the product and the use of its new possibilities. GIS WebServer SE is a geoinformation system for building geoportals for various purposes, implemented on cloud technologies.   • 04.09.2017 Complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps generates the report documents in HTML format
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of automated quality control and correction of maps of version 6.6 is developed for platform x64. In the new version of the program the procedure of quality control is accelerated and the list of formats for generating report documents is expanded. The output of reports into text documents containing markup in HTML is implemented. The templates of reports of the results of quality control and correction of maps in HTML format are developed. The received reports can be opened with the help of various office programs, text editors and Web-browsers.

    The complex of automated quality control and correction of digital maps is intended to obtain a single digital map by the original digital maps in the SXF format created by different classifiers. The complex of the automated quality assurance and correction of digital maps consists of a set of programs: code conversion and quality assurance DTM with editing, control of the coordination of adjacent sheets DTM, association of adjacent sheets DTM, the conformity analysis object structure of maps and classifiers.

  • 31.08.2017 Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data automates the creation of geo-covers based on data from various sources
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data of version 3.6 is developed. In the new version the automated processing of the input information is supported at a placement into storehouse. Formats of loaded data are automatically determined.

    The possibility is added for automated creation of geo-covers by data received from various sources. Various national coordinate systems and projections are supported. You can combine the formats SXF, SHP, MIF/MID and others among themselves. The created geo-covers are automatically available for use in other applications.

    The new version supports the loading of spatial data of format SHP and MIF/MID, grouped by folders or packed in archives. It considerably simplifies loading and raises speed of placing data into storehouse.

    Possibility of cyclic displaying and moving the map is added. Smooth animation at scaling is implemented. In the mode of distances measurement the calculation of length of the segment by an orthodrome is added.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data implements a collection, storing, search and output of spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected with the help of the program can be placed for multiuser access on the GIS Server and published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on the GIS WebService SE application server. Users can access data from both a thin client (using the GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator").

    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data provides the construction of a cloud repository of spatial data, the provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of the spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes of heights and terrain models. It provides remote placement of sets of spatial data into file storage, a keeping the versions of stored sets, an updating of maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, the checksum of files and completeness of data sets are checked.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development.   • 28.08.2017 GIS "Operator" allows to track the movement of aircraft to ensure their safety during the training of troops of anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" is developed for power structures of version 12.5.2 for the platform x64. In the new version, the task of connecting geoportals has been refined. Support of a new geoportal is added for realisation of monitoring the movement of aircraft. Geoportal "Monitoring the Air Traffic" uses the public web service Flightradar24, which allows real-time monitoring of the situation of aircrafts, being in air.

    Tracking with the help of service the position of the aircraft is possible only if it is equipped with a transponder of ADS-B type and that is switched on. An aircraft equipped with an ADS-B transponder, during the entire flight, approximately every second generates and sends into an air a broadcast, open radio message, which contains the actual data at the time of departure-its exact coordinates, current speed, altitude and other information. The service uses ADS-B receivers installed around the world that receive information from aircraft and send it to the Flightradar24 server. To view the current position of the aircraft in the GIS "Operator" it is necessary to connect a geoportal "Monitoring the Air Traffic", to set the period of updating the image of the program window for 5 seconds, and to turn on the property "Update of WMS layers". In the process of monitoring, detailed information about the selected flight is available: airport of departure and arrival, travel time, model, speed, direction, altitude and other parameters. Aircraft on the map are displayed with various conventional symbols from the classifier service.rsc depending on their model, dimensions, seating capacity. In total into the classifier service.rsc 16 new conventional symbols for a designation of aircraft were added. Among them, such lines of aircraft as SuperJet, TU, IL, Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault aviation and others. The user can change the image of conventional symbols and expand the list of available aircraft models in the "Classifier Editor".

    The task "Loading data from the COLLADA format (* .dae)" has been refined to edit the 3D view of the object in the classifier editor. A new format has been developed for storing data in the SQLite database in the form of tiles that are convenient for displaying in web applications. Processing of nested nodes with links is added.

    New possibilities are added for processing rasters that open directly without conversion to RSW (when open, the mode "Do not copy the source image to the RSW file" is selected). There is added joint opening and display of Landsat, Kompsat and GeoEye images supplied as a set of single-channel TIF rasters. Single-channel TIF rasters are interpreted as different channels of the same image.
    The restriction on the maximum size of survey images of 4 GB is removed, which allows processing images of any size. The GDAL library has been updated to version 2.2.0, in which new formats of processed rasters have been added.

    The dialog of the "Data List of map" and "Map Legend" task has been improved. Multichannel Landsat, Kompsat and GeoEye images, supplied as a set of single-channel TIF rasters, are displayed in the list of rasters as a node containing a complete list of used TIF files.

    At requesting lengths of objects or segments having a length of more than 5 degrees in longitude, the orthodrome is automatically constructed, which ensures the calculation with the accuracy of class 1 triangulation. Accurate length calculations are performed if the "Precise square and length" property is set in the Options menu.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 11.8.0 for CentOS OS is developed. In the new version, the administrator can assign a lifetime to each user or virtual folder separately. As a result, "in the fast access" there is the most necessary and relevant data, and by optimizing the data set stored in the RAM, the speed of the service is increasing.

    The functional of obtaining the calculated information is expanded. For creation of buffer zones there is implemented a request of their construction by the closed linear objects, and also by an arbitrary object, passed through the input file. The new request of obtaining the distance, azimuth and directional angle is added. Requests of transactions are improved, allowing to analyze the list of available for object of editing of semantic characteristics and to update only transferred for semantics change.

    GIS WebService SE implements support for a single geoinformation space, providing the transmission and display of spatial data located on a spatial data server (GIS Server), according to international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS. For preliminary selection of data to be placed on the GIS Server, and also for automated formation and updating of geo-covers, the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data is used.   • 19.08.2017 GIS "Panorama" x64 provides modeling of the development of crisis (emergency) situations on critical facilities using modern high-accuracy geodata
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" of version 12.5.1 for a platform x64 is developed. The new version adds a set of tasks "Forecasting the consequences of emergency situations" for the automated forecast of potential consequences in the event of emergencies on radiation-hazardous objects, chemically hazardous objects and hydraulic structures. The complex makes it possible to calculate the parameters of the damaging factors and to construct a zone of possible damage as a result of an emergency. The zone of defeat is placed on the map of situation in the emergency area with conventional symbols, which correspond to the requirements of the normative documents of the Ministry of Emergency Measures (GOST R 22.0.10-96). The calculation takes into account the weather conditions that are entered by the operator at the time of calculation. When simulating the occurrence of emergencies on a hydraulic engineering structure during a spill of liquid, a form of the terrain is taken into account, which is determined by the height matrix. At the radiation-hazardous object, terrain matrixes and vegetation data are used to make more specific affected area. After execution of calculations in the GIS, you can estimate the number of buildings (personnel, population) that have fallen into the affected area.

    New possibilities are added for processing rasters that open directly without conversion to RSW (when open, the mode "Do not copy the source image to the RSW file" is selected). There is added joint discovery and display of Landsat, Kompsat and GeoEye images supplied as a set of single-channel TIF rasters. Single-channel TIF rasters are interpreted as different channels of the same image. The restriction on the maximum size of survey images of 4 GB is removed, which allows processing images of any size. The GDAL library has been updated to version 2.2.0, in which new formats of processed rasters are added.

    The task of connecting geoportals has been improved. Possibility is added for scaling the image from the previous level if the data at the subsequent levels are not present. In order to improve the security of information exchange with geoportals, the ability to connect data via https is added. Support for these protocols will improve the protection against attacks based on listening to a network connection.
    The task "Loading data from the COLLADA format (* .dae)" has been completed to edit the 3D view of the object in the classifier editor. A new format has been developed for storing data in the SQLite database in the form of tiles that are convenient for displaying in web applications. Processing of nested nodes with links is added.

    In the task "Automated generalization of topographic maps" the new mode "Setting the boundaries of rivers visibility" is added. The mode "Setting the boundaries of rivers visibility" is intended for simplification of a hydrographic network in the map scales 50 000 and 100 000. The goal of simplifying the hydrographic network is to assign specific ranges of visibility to specific objects of the hydrographic network, corresponding to their importance. Degree of the rivers importance is defined by the length and character of its location relative to other rivers.

    In the complex of geodetic tasks, a new algorithm for generating reports on the metric and semantics of objects has been developed, which implements the functions of the report generator. The universal report generator works as a software wizard that performs the following procedures: customizing the schema and report parameters; automatic creation of scheme of the object; schema display and its interactive editing; filling the report on the beforehand prepared template.
    At requesting lengths of objects or segments having a length of more than 5 degrees in longitude, the orthodrome is automatically constructed, which ensures the calculation with the accuracy of class 1 triangulation. Accurate length calculations are performed if the "Precise square and length" property is set in the "Options" menu.

    The dialog "Data List of map" and the task "Map legend" have been improved. Multichannel images the Landsat, Kompsat and GeoEye, supplied as a set of single-channel TIF rasters, are displayed in the list of rasters as a node containing a complete list of used TIF files.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor of version 12.1.0 is developed for operating system Astra Linux Special Edition (Release "Smolensk"). The new version combines the possibilities of developing the GIS-applications for Qt tools of version 4 and version 5. Using only one software product, the GIS Constructor user can create a GIS application for the required version of the Qt framework, with a minimum of effort.

    The developer can easily switch the used version of the Qt framework using a command-line utility with a simple interface. With its help, you can get information about the used version in one action and change it to the desired one. After that, the GIS Constructor is fully ready to work with the selected libraries of Qt toolkit. For the convenience of the system administrator, the installer of GIS Constructor automatically performs the initial configuration of the application in the automatic mode. To determine the used version of the Qt framework, the current environment of the operating system is analyzed.

    Universality of MAPAPI interface and GIS Constructor components provides portability of the developed source codes. The developer, depending on the task to be solved, can easily reassemble the GIS application for the required version of the Qt toolkit and create an image of the product for the end user.

    GIS WebService SE version 11.8.0 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version for the purpose of expansion of mechanisms of access to a single geoinformation space and simplifications of procedure of interaction with service the list of supported requests is expanded. Service allows to provide the unified access to databases and data banks, geo-covers, metadata databases, navigation data, topographic and other types of data. It simplifies the process and technology of interaction between users and a single geoinformation space.

    For request of creation of buffer zones the possibility of their construction is implemented by the closed linear objects, and also by an arbitrary object passed through the input file gml. The new request is added of obtaining distance, azimuth and direction angle.

    For construction of geo-covers in the Databank the request is added to obtain the classifiers available on the GIS Server. The program has improved the requests for obtaining semantic characteristics, taking into account the spatial data scheme. There is added the request of deleting the layers (data) located on the GIS Server.     Specialists of KB "Panorama" have developed the instruction on installation and configuration of GIS WebService SE. The instructions show the main installation positions for the application in Windows with the IIS servers set.

    In GIS WebService SE, reliability is improved when working with data on the GIS Server. In the event of termination of the right of access to the layers by the administrator of the GIS Server, the publication of this data on the service is completed.   • 10.08.2017 GIS Server automates the joint processing of SHP and SXF formats in the formation of geo-covers
    In KB "Panorama" the program of GIS Server PARB.00049-01 version 7.3.2 is developed. In the new version there are improved the tools of remote placement in the Databank of digital vector maps of formats SHP (Shape), MIF\MID and others. The procedure for remote loading of the Data Bank of Digital Maps (DMs) and Remote Sensing of the Earth (RSE) PARB.00033-02 is implemented as a 64-bit application, which allows to increase the speed of work, increase the amount of data processed and reduce the processing time due to multithreaded execution on multiprocessor servers. There is added an automatic processing of data, packed in a ZIP archive, while loading the Data Bank. For example, sets of SHP or MIF/MID files that correspond to a given territory (map sheet), it is more convenient to store and to issue as ZIP-archive. The analysis of the archive, definition of dimensions of data sets, coordinate systems, number of objects and other metadata is performed automatically with any nesting of folders in the archive.

    Loading of data sets into the Databank of DMs and RSE is carried out by the command of the desktop client of GIS Server or the web-client of Databank of DMs and RSE. GIS Server allows you to create in an automated mode the geo-covers of vector maps, rasters and matrices stored in the Data Bank of DMs and RSE. During the formation of geo-covers, data are imported from exchange formats, are transformed into a given coordinate system and are placed into a virtual folder of the GIS Server. The file-sets of the SHP format, stored in the form of ZIP archives, selected by the operator in the Data Bank are automatically unpacked and converted into the internal format of the GIS "Panorama" together with the SXF files for the formation of geo-covers.

    GIS Server supports multi-level connection of servers among themselves for distributed storage and processing of spatial data with automatic replication, backup and data protection. Such architecture in tens times reduces load of a network of data transmission, speeds up access to data and improves reliability of work. Reducing the load on the data network is achieved through the access of individual groups of users through an intermediate GIS Server, which caches the requests and performs automatic data replication.

    GIS Server provides work with spatial databases managed by PostgreSQL and Oracle databases with access to data in accordance with OGC 06-103r4 standard: "OpenGISΒ Implementation Standard for Geographic information - Part 1: Common architecture".

  • 08.08.2017 Geoinformation system "Rosseti" - reliability and efficiency of managing the power grid complex
    The first stage of the geoinformation system (GIS Rosseti) was developed and put into trial operation in the "Rosseti" company. GIS "Rosseti" is a joint product of the companies of Closed Joint-Stock Company "Russian corporation of communication facilities" (RCCF) and Joint-Stock Company of KB "Panorama". The purpose of creating the GIS "Rosseti" is to increase the reliability and efficiency of managing the power grid complex distributed across the territory of 77 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

    The software that is part of the GIS "Rosseti" meets the modern requirements for processing and providing the spatial information and is fully implemented on the basis of domestic technologies of KB "Panorama". The development took into account the requirements of the technical policy of "Rosseti" in the field of import substitution, the use of a unified data model, a unified system of classification and coding. During development, Russian software was used: GIS "Panorama", GIS Server, GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebToolKit SE.

    The main task of GIS "Rosseti" is to provide information support when performing work to reduce the probability of accidents, technological violations and other contingencies, and to mitigate their negative consequences. For processing the information about the objects of the power grid complex, GIS includes an online editor of spatial information about accounting objects, a toolkit for interacting with various address databases and obtaining publicly available cadastre information of Rosreestr.

    For the prompt response of the staffs of the power grid complex to threats and the emergence of emergencies, accidents of natural, technogenic and other nature, the GIS "Rosseti" performs the collection, processing, transmission and storage of operational information on the availability and location of the emergency reserve, mobile teams and special equipment, mobile modular substations , the reserve sources of electric power supply, complete mobile switchgears.

    To visualize the spatial objects of accounting, the symbols, rules and recommendations for the digital description of fuel and energy complex objects have been developed in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 56303-2014.

    Information interaction between GIS and existing information systems of the "Rosseti" group is based on international standards for the exchange of geospatial data and services. Data processing is also supported in the accepted unified forms coming from the information systems of the subsidiaries of "Rosseti" and their branches.     In KB "Panorama" the training materials on installation and configuration of the program the GIS Server are developed. One of the most important elements of the cloud storage of spatial data is a network formed from interconnected GIS Servers managing various kinds of spatial data - spatial data bases, digital vector maps and remote sensing data.

    GIS Server provides work with spatial databases managed by PostgreSQL and Oracle databases with access to data in accordance with OGC 06-103r4 standard: "OpenGISΒ Implementation Standard for Geographic information - Part 1: Common architecture".

    Clients access the spatial data located on the server at high speed due to an efficient caching mechanism.     In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data of version 3.5 is developed for CentOS. The new version adds the ability to load spatial data into the repository directly from the local directory. This allows you to increase the speed of data placement by not having to use the HTTP protocol for transfer.The user is able to simultaneously download a large amount of data in a short period of time.

    Security is increased when working with the database by using a separate account with limited rights. The rights to access data and functionality of the complex are assigned to users in accordance with the rights of the groups to which they belong.

    There is expanded the list of metadata fields for maps and remote sensing data, which are automatically filled when materials are placed into the data warehouse. The mode of search and selection of materials is optimized, the ability to manage the list of displayed fields is added to the search tools. The system of the help on work with a complex is realized.

    Within the framework of a single geoinformation space, the Data Bank of digital maps and remote sensing data collects, stores, searches for and provides spatial data in exchange formats. The spatial data selected with the help of the Data Bank can be placed for multiuser access on the GIS Server and published according to the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS on the GIS WebService SE application server. Users can access data from both a thin client (using the GIS WebServer SE) and from desktop applications (GIS Panorama, GIS Operator).

    The database of digital maps and remote sensing data provides the construction of a cloud repository of spatial data, the provision of access to these data, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers. The current state of the spatial data is displayed by means of maps-schemes that are maintained for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes of heights and terrain models. It provides remote placement of sets of spatial data into file storage, a keeping the versions of stored sets, an updating of maps-schemes of data availability, the automated collection and formation of metadata, and the formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation.     Panorama Imagery Service version 8.2 is developed in KB "Panorama". The new version increases the reliability when working with data on the GIS Server, which is connected with a geospatial data base. The service allows you to monitor any changes made in the database, to analyze them and to rebuild the changed tiles for their later display in GIS WebServer SE by the OGC WMTS protocol.

    When configuring projects in the web administrator of the service, the user can choose the language of work convenient for him. By default, support for two languages is enabled - Russian and English. To add a new language, you can connect new localization files.

    In KB "Panorama", toolkit the GIS ToolKit of version 12.5.0 was developed for creating GIS applications in environment of Delphi, C ++ Builder Embarcadero.

    The new version adds the ability to display and embed OLE-documents in a common cartographic image. MS Word document, MS Excel spreadsheet, MS PowerPoint slide, MS Graph may be as OLE-documents. When you change the data in the embedded OLE-document the updating is carried out and in the cartographical image on the monitor or at the printing. At a choice of the embedded document by double mouse click the editing of the document is carried out by that program in which it has been created (depending on document type). To quickly study the possibilities of embedding OLE-documents into the cartographic project, an example application (included into the installation package) is developed. All settings for displaying the OLE-document on the background of the cartographic image are saved in a special file, which is located together with the map. For OLE-document introduction into a map it is possible to use the GIS Panorama for which the user interface is already developed for work with such documents.

    In the new version there is improved the work of standard components of the map area selection - TfrmDlgSelRt, TMapSelectRect. Components are used in such tasks of processing the spatial data as a choice of area for printing, a choice of area for display, a choice of area for search, a choice of area for copying and converting objects.

    Possibilities of management by the maps atlas are expanded. The components of working with map atlas (TAtlasListDlg, TOpenAtlasDlg) allow to implement a multiscale model of displaying spatial objects onto the same territory.

    GIS ToolKit is a toolkit of the developer of geoinformation systems, allowing to process spatial databases. This format is an international standard for the exchange of data that can be used for creation of aeronautical databases and the formation of aeronautical maps. Drawing the information on a map is carried out without deleting or modifying existing map objects.

    Possibilities of the mode of building a profile of heights by terrain relief are extended. The user in interactive mode can move along the borders of the object or the broken line he constructed, obtaining dynamic information about the altitude and angular characteristics at the current point. The built profile can be exported to text or graphic format.

    In KB "Panorama" the Imagery Creator version 9.2 is developed. The new version of the program allows you to use cloud technologies to configure projects and generate tiles on the server. The user can remotely administer the process of preparation and cutting of tiles from any workplace via the Internet using a browser. Different projects from the same workplace can be started on different servers. The user interface helps the administrator to monitor the progress of the process of cutting tiles, to switch between existing projects, set the parameters for cutting (scale, view, format, projection, etc.).

    When configuring projects in the web administrator of the service, the user can choose the language of work convenient for him. By default, support for two languages is enabled - Russian and English. To add a new language, you can connect new localization files.

This is achieved by the flexible configuration of data caching and the possibility of cache distribution over disk arrays.

    Clients (GIS WebService SE application servers and desktop applications) access the spatial data hosted on the server at high speed through an efficient caching mechanism. The cache of spatial database is formed in the form of cartographic representation already in the established conventional symbols. A flexible load distribution onto the disk subsystem is provided by the ability to assign a separate directory with a cache for each connection of GIS Server SE with the geospatial database.

    The new version of GIS Server allows not to reread from the database the previously received information and stored in the cache, even if this information has not been accessed for a while by any server client, or even if the GIS Server has been restarted.

    GIS Server SE can carry out actualization in the cache only of that data which has changed since the previous access to the spatial database, using the transaction log. The log is implemented using a separate table in the database. The period of poll by GIS Server of the table of changes log is installed by the manager in program settings.

    To effectively access a spatial database in which transaction logging is not performed, the GIS Server SE can use the "time of data relevance". The cartographic representation generated by the original data set (geospatial database table or SQL query) may not be recreated until the established time interval has expired. At the expiry of this period, the cartographical representation will be automatically re-configured if the GIS Server SE has active connections to this data set. If no one is connected to the dataset, the cartographic view will be re-formed at the first access of the user to this set. The relevance time for the data set of the spatial database is determined by the administrator of the Server GIS based on what spatial information is contained in this set, how much and how often it is updated for the server's clients.

    GIS Server SE within a single geoinformation space provides multi-user access to spatial data for application servers (GIS WebService SE) and desktop clients (GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator"). The program gives users the opportunity to make changes to geospatial data bases through the graphical interface of GIS "Panorama", GIS WebServer SE by tools of editing digital terrain maps. In this case, the GIS Server monitors the changes in these databases, performed by any external applications. There is supported a multilevel connection of servers among themselves for the distributed storage and processing of spatial data with automatic replication, backup and data protection.

    On the geoportal "Bank of spatial data", the map of the Kurgan region, formed according to OpenStreetMap data, was updated. Source data obtained from the GIS-Lab website are complemented by objects from maps of scale 1: 1 000 000. There are added the objects of hydrography, vegetation, road network. For work with the received map it is possible to use the program of GIS Panorama Mini or other software products of KB "Panorama".

    Publishing of updates in bank of spatial data is made by using the program of Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data. Publishing contents of bank of spatial data on the geoportal and data access for downloading are implemented by means of GIS WebServer SE.

  • 18.07.2017 GIS WebServer SE for OS CentOS expands the possibilities of 3D analysis of geospatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3.3 is developed for operating system CentOS 7.2. In the new version the component of three-dimensional model of a map is updated. 3D model provides an opportunity to work and to view information layers from the geospatial data base and remote sensing data for analysis and decision making at designing. 3D surface is displayed in accordance with the terrain. Detailed models can contain three-dimensional objects corresponding to objects of a two-dimensional map.

    The new version extends the user's ability to customize the 3D data model in accordance with its tasks: the view of the 3D object can be linked to its semantic characteristics, the boundaries displaying 3D objects are customized by scales. To get information about the object, you can directly having selected the objects from the 3D view. The composition of displayed three-dimensional objects changes automatically depending on the scale of the map display, at movement along equator the animation of moving and continuous display of 3D maps is provided.

    When solving various navigational tasks the user has an opportunity to use spherical model of globe in the Web-browser: to view cities, countries, continents, analyze their mutual location, and also make a quick transition to any point on the Earth. Formation of spherical model of a terrestrial surface occurs automatically at transition to small scales of display.

    For better perception of spatial data by the user, animation of the image is added when the scale of map display is changed. The basic actions of the user at editing and search of objects of spatial data are simplified. Now when performing the operations of modification and deletion, the output of a list of objects which are in a current point is added. The updated "Map Objects" component in a tabular form provides information about objects during search and selection operations with the possibility of displaying extended information from additional sources.

    The list of available spatial data is expanded by adding the possibility of selecting a service for performing address search and searching by cadastre number on the Rosreestr portal.

    In the new version the possibilities of measurements on a map are expanded - the mode of measuring angles on a map is added, modes of measurement of distance and the area are updated. To access spatial data, GIS WebServer SE uses the GIS WebService SE application server that within the geoinformation space provides access to data by the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS. For access to spatial data GIS WebServer SE uses application server GIS WebService SE which within the limits of geoinformation field provides access to data under the international standards OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS. As a source of the spatial data the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can act which provides gathering, storage, search and delivery of the spatial data in exchange formats, display of a state of the data in the form of the maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

  • 14.07.2017 For GIS Panorama Mini the new tools for import and visualization of spatial data are developed
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama Mini" version 12.5.0 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version of the program the tools for import and visualization of spatial data are updated. In the converter of digital vector maps from SHP format there is added a support of import of a folders tree with SHP files, with the automatic formation of sheets and map layers in national division and coordinate systems, with the assignment of conventional symbols by alphanumeric code in any national language encoded in UTF. The task "Import of navigational data from GPX files" is improved. The program allows to load simultaneously several files in format GPX onto one map. This will save operator time on converting data.

    Support of local database SQLite for display of raster data in the form of tiles is implemented. There is added a restriction of the displayed geoportal area, set by the user in the settings file wmslist_en.xml. Support of local SQLite database provides also display of the matrix data about terrain in the hmp format and the execution of all kinds of computational tasks related with heights (construction of profiles, visibility zones, estimation of elevation, calculation of ground volumes, 3D modeling and other tasks). There is added a support for zip archives, encrypted by a user password, at performing the operations of opening the data sets (vector maps, images, matrices) and updating the open data. If the zip archive is encrypted, the user will be prompted to enter a password to access the data.


    The task of "Map Editor" has been improved. New objects are located on the map at once, taking into account the order of the layers displaying specified in the classifier, without additional sorting of the map. To manage the order of recording objects on the map when sorting the map, a service file with the SIN extension is formed. If the SIN file was not created, then the objects are written to the map in the order of their type (polygon, linear, etc.). The mode "Creation of group of objects by coordinates from a text file" is modified. There is added the possibility to build orthodrome by the coordinates of the file MET - an arc on the Earth's surface, passing through the shortest distance between the given points. To execute the task in a text file with the .MET extension, you need the presence of the #ORTHODROME service field and two lines with the coordinates of the starting and ending points of the created object - the arc. At large distances (thousands of kilometers), the points of the arc are formed with a step of no more than 0.4 degrees, for small distances - no more than 10 kilometers, which ensures the determination of lengths and angles with triangulation accuracy of 1 class.

    New property "Save time and date of object update" is added in the dialog of creating a new map. If the map is created with the specified property, then into each object, when creating and editing, service semantics are automatically recorded with the date and time of the performed operation and with the name of the operator that performed the operation. The specified property can not be disabled. Support of the pseudo-conical equal-projection of Bonn (EPSG:9827) is added. The new projection can be selected for maps of the Geographical type.

    In the "Classifier Editor" in the "Layers" bookmark, there is added the ability to set the order of displaying objects within a given layer (the button "Objects order"). It allows to unite layers of the same-type in the classifier which have been entered earlier for management of order of objects display. Flexible setting of the classifier simplifies the preparation of libraries of conventional symbols according to the requirements adopted in the national mapping systems of different countries. There is added the accounting for multipolygons when searching for objects by a given area, taking into account the occurrence, intersection, location at a given distance.

    XML format is used for storage of conditions of search and display of map objects in files with "vclx" extension in the "\Log" folders. This simplifies the work with program settings from external applications. The dialogue "Select object" is refined. On the "Metric" bookmark a map window has been added with the ability to display the section with the current point of the object's metric. This allows you to view the contours of extended objects and to correct the coordinates of points without leaving the dialog.

    Due to multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor, the execution time of operations on lists of objects is reduced by 6-8 times - a search for intersections, occurrences, location at a given distance, and so on. Speed of constructing the list of the found objects is increased in 2-3 times. The sorting of multi-sheet maps (MAP) is accelerated by 3-4 times. When sorting map objects, the order of displaying objects in the layer is taken into account.

    In the program the dialog "Image color adjustment" was refined, which is called via the menu item "Options\Colors" in tasks of "Data lists" or "Map legend". There is implemented the possibility of creating and editing a set of the user palettes to control the displaying the matrixes of terrain elevation that were added into the document.

  • 13.07.2017 GIS WebService SE for the CentOS operating system expands the tools for building a 3D model of spatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 11.4.0 is developed for server operating system CentOS 7.2. In the new version of service the tools for building three-dimensional models of spatial data formed by means of GIS WebServer SE are expanded.

    3D model provides an opportunity to work and to view information layers from the geospatial data base and remote sensing data for analysis and decision making at designing. 3D surface is displayed in accordance with the terrain. Detailed models can contain three-dimensional objects corresponding to objects of a two-dimensional map. In new version of GIS WebServer SE the ability is added to automatically change the composition of the displayed three-dimensional objects depending on the scale of the map display. Animation of moving and continuous display of 3D maps are implemented at movement along equator.

    In the new version, the speed and reliability of the service in the mode of round-the-clock operation is increased. By means of the built-in self-diagnostics the service allows to identify and eliminate failures that occur at processing the incorrect data or lack of server resources. These possibilities increase the reliability and fault tolerance of the application, and also speed up the search for errors and decision-making by the service administrator to change the server hardware resources. In order that the administrator could quickly find the necessary information about service's work, into the module of remote administration the tools are added for viewing the log with possibility of events filtration.

    There is accelerated the process of updating images of vector maps which are issued by WMS protocol, at intensive editing of maps objects on the GIS Server. For example, at displaying tracks of movement of vehicles the updating of vector data is carried out in parallel with drawing a current state. It reduces time of synchronisation of changing the object state and the output of the updated picture.

    In the new version of the program a support of multipolygons is added. This type of object allows you to combine several individual polygon objects into one. Use of multipolygons will allow to avoid duplication of semantic characteristics, reducing the overall amount of information, to unite objects of the same type, reducing quantity of spatially-logic links and simplifying process of visual perception of objects (for example, the Kuril Islands, borders of the states and others).

    The parameters of queries by the WFS standard are extended. The ability to display graphic objects and information about the relative and absolute height of the object is added. The possibility of forming a map legend with transparency is added.

    GIS WebService SE implements support for a single geoinformation space, providing transmission and display of spatial data located on the GIS Server, according to international standards of OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS. The program provides the ability to issue tiles by spatial data for any user or local coordinate system. The application is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web-servers.

  • 12.07.2017 GIS "Operator" provides construction of a highly accurate digital terrain model of a single geoinformation space based on laser scanning data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" of version 12.5.0 for power structures is developed. The program provides support for a single geoinformation space based on building a network architecture managed by spatial data servers (GIS Server) and application servers (GIS WebService SE). As a source of geospatial data the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be applied.

    In the new version, the speed of requesting and updating data from the GIS Server has been increased for providing collective work in a network with maps of the terrain and operational situation for the planning and management of troops and weapons. The ruler of sources of the data has been expanded that are used for formation of terrain elevation matrixes and execution of computational tasks related with heights (construction of profiles, visibility zones, estimation of elevation, calculation of ground volumes, 3D modeling).

    The task "Navigator 3D" is refined. Into it the new mode "Cloud of points" is added which provides displaying the data of laser scanning of terrain in three-dimensional model. As one of sources of the data of laser scanning, the dense digital model of a surface is used that was created by software PHOTOMOD DenseDSM of the Rakurs company. The model, calculated on the basis of many types of input data using the method SGM (Semi-Global Matching), simplifies the creation of three-dimensional urban high-resolution models and can be loaded into the GIS "Panorama" for displaying in two-dimensional and three-dimensional form, vectoring, constructions of profiles and execution of other calculation tasks. The digital model of a surface comes in LAS-files. The data of the terrain's laser scanning is downloaded from LAS-files and stored as MTD-models.

    The new "Cloud of points" mode allows you to display in a three-dimensional form a cloud of points of any volume. If the points have not only high-altitude, but also the color data, this data is also used for 3D-displaying. Otherwise, the model is displayed in the colors of the altitude palette. The model of a cloud of points can be displayed in the original form or its data are included into the terrain mapping.

  • 10.07.2017 Data bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing provides a one-time placement into the data warehouse of a large number of maps and images
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data of version 3.5 is developed. The new version optimizes the loading of a large number of materials into the data warehouse. There is added a mode of placing into the data warehouse without downloading via the HTTP protocol, the data is downloaded from the local folder. Two download modes are supported: remote downloading of data sets via HTTP protocol and download over the local network from the available device. Downloading over the local network provides a one-time placing of a large amount of data into the data warehouse and a higher filling rate of the Data Bank.

    Security is increased when working with the database, work with the database is implemented through a separate account with limited rights.The rights to access the data and functionality of the complex are assigned to users in accordance with the rights of the groups to which they belong. There is expanded the list of metadata fields for maps and remote sensing data, which are automatically filled when materials are placed into the data warehouse. The mode of search and selection of materials is optimized, the ability to manage the list of displayed fields is added to the search tools. The system of the help on work with a complex is realized.

    The data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data is intended for building a cloud data warehouse of spatial data, providing access to these data, the automated generation and updating of geo-covers. Provides gathering, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, displaying a status of a databank in the form of maps-schemes. Maps-schemes are conducted for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes of heights and terrain models. It provides remote placement of sets of spatial data into file data warehouse, conducting versions of stored sets, update of data availability maps-schemes, the automated collection and formation of metadata, automated formation and updating of geo-covers. Automated collection and formation of metadata is performed according to the standards of ISO 19115: 2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, the checksum of files and completeness of data sets are verified.

    The reference to the Databank and data exchange is carried out via the web-interface. The program can work in operating systems with the closed contour where processing of protected data is carried out. The databank includes applications the GIS Server and GIS WebService SE that are certified to Level 2 of undeclared possibilities in system of certification of means of the information protection of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. For conducting base of the metadata there are used the DBMS PostgreSQL (OS Windows, Astra Linux SE), DBMS Zarya (OS Zarya-data processing center).

    The complex includes the module of administrating the Bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data. It provides customizing the general parameters of the application's work, customizing the parameters of metadata base, a choice of formats of storage and the composition of groups of stored files, types of objects for maps-schemes, conducting the groups of users and assigning the rights of users for access to the data and allowed actions. Users of desktop programs the GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-editor" and others can connect to Bank of metadata through the GIS Server for work.

  • 07.07.2017 GIS Constructor extends the possibilities of creating GIS-applications by using the cross-platform Qt 5 framework
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor of version 12.0.3 is developed for operating system Astra Linux Special Edition (release "Smolensk"). The new version is adapted to work with the Qt framework version 5.5. This enables developers to create modern user interfaces with use of Qt QML and Qt Quick modules in combination with high-speed digital data access logic implemented on the basis of C ++ and the MAPAPI interface. By using the combination of Qt Location module for obtaining geographical coordinates and access interfaces to digital data the GIS Constructor extends a set of data sources for creating and updating maps.

    The source texts of GIS applications written with using the software product the GIS Constructor and Qt framework are cross-platform and can be used for assembly for a wide range of devices: desktop, mobile and embedded. Adaptation of existing GIS applications for work with new versions of GIS Constructor and Qt require a minimum of efforts due to preserving the interfaces of the graphic components of the GIS Constructor and the interface for accessing digital MAPAPI data. The graphical components of the program are adapted for use with the new version of the environment for the development of graphical interfaces of Qt Designer.

    GIS Constructor implements support for a single geoinformation space managed by spatial data servers (GIS Server) and application servers (GIS WebService SE). Due to the ability to work with the GIS Server, users of GIS applications can directly connect to geospatial data bases, view and edit tables in the form of maps in the specified conventional symbols.   • 05.07.2017 In "Panorama-editor" the technology of automated generalization of topographic maps for obtaining high-quality multiscale maps is improved
    In KB "Panorama" a professional vectorizer "Panorama-Editor" version 12.5 was developed. In the new version, the "Automated generalization of topographic maps" task has been refined. A new mode "Setting the range of roads visibility" was added. This mode is designed to simplify an overloaded road network at transition to smaller scales of maps. At compression of the map image the density of objects per unit of the area of a map increases. Linear objects of the road network begin to paint each other and adjacent polygonal map objects (blocks and industrial objects). The new mode allows you to save all objects of the road network, including streets and driveways in the derived map. The task is designed for processing topographic terrain maps in the scale from 1:25 000 up to 1: 1 000 000. This method allows to realise the multiscale maps providing the qualitative image in several scales, and also to raise degree of automation of processes of drawing up and the issuing maps of smaller scales.     In the complex of geodesy calculations there is implemented the storage and editing of data on documents that establish the category of land, the type of permitted use and the address of land use not only for the formed, but also for the specified, changeable and original sites. Screen elements are added for entering and editing information about a natural object. The procedure for analyzing the initial data specified by the user for the formation of the scheme for the location of the land plot on the cadastral plan of the territory was automated.

    In the program the dialog "Image color adjustment" was refined, which is called via the menu item "Options\Colors" in tasks of "Data lists" or "Map legend". There is implemented the possibility of creating and editing a set of the user palettes to control the displaying the matrixes of terrain elevation that were added into the document.

    In the task of "Check of vector map quality" the output of report documents into the HTML-file is added. Outputting reports into HTML file allows you to generate reporting documents without using office programs. There is added the ability to run several instances of GIS "Panorama-Editor" for execution of control of various vector maps with the issuance of reports into HTML format (a report into MS Word is executed only from one program).

  • 04.07.2017 The speed of multi-user access to geo-spatial databases has been increased in the GIS Server
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.3 is developed. The new version increases the speed of access to large arrays of information in spatial databases. This is achieved by the flexible configuration of data caching and the possibility of cache distribution over disk arrays.

    The program provides caching of information from a spatial database in the form of a cartographic representation already in established conventional symbols. This allows you to maximize the speed of multi-user access to this data. In the new version, for each GIS Server connection with the geo-spatial database, a separate directory can be assigned in the disk space for cache placing. This approach allows the server administrator to flexibly distribute the load to the disk subsystem.

After the time of data relevance expires, the cartographical representation will be automatically re-configured if there are active connections to this data set on the GIS Server. If no one is connected to the dataset and the data timeliness has expired, the cartographic view will be re-formed at the first access of the user to this set. The relevance time for the data set of the spatial database is determined by the administrator of the Server GIS based on what spatial information is contained in this set, how much and how often it is updated for the server's clients.

  • 30.06.2017 GIS WebServer SE uses an interactive globe model to display geospatial data
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3.3 is developed. In the new version the component of three-dimensional model of a map was updated. The 3D model provides an opportunity to work and to view information layers from the geospatial data base and remote sensing data for analysis and decision making at designing. 3D surface is displayed in accordance with the terrain. Detailed models can contain three-dimensional objects corresponding to objects of a two-dimensional map. The new version adds the ability to automatically change the composition of the displayed three-dimensional objects depending on the scale of the map display. Animation of moving and continuous display of 3D maps are added at movement along equator.

    For small scales of display the spherical model of a terrestrial surface is formed. When solving various navigational tasks, the spherical model allows you to explore the globe in a Web browser, to view cities, countries, continents, analyze their mutual location, and also make a quick transition to any point on the globe.

    Search system is updated. The ability to select a search resource for address search and search by coordinates is added. This allows you to obtain geodata from various sources in the user interface. Management of map scaling is optimised, image animation at changing a scale of displaying a map is added. In the administration module there is added a customizing the parameters of several systems of address search, search by cadastral number on the portal of Rosreestr. There is added the ability to customize the boundaries for displaying 3D objects by scale.

    The web applications development tool the GIS WebToolKit SE has been refined, which extends the capabilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development.   • 29.06.2017 ImageryCreator provides formation of tiles files Big Data in MBTiles format
    In KB "Panorama" the ImageryCreator version 9.1 is developed. The new version of the program allows you to create tiles in the SQLite database format - MBTiles. The advantage of this method of storage of tiles compared with storage of tiles in the form of separate files in system consists in saving of a space on a hard disk. All data is stored in a single database file. Tiles in MBTiles format on average take up to 30% less space on the hard disk. The speed of access to the tile in the SQLite database in the Windows system is comparable to the speed of access to the file directly. Use of the MBTiles format will simplify and speed up the process of transferring tiles between servers and hard disks. In order to optimize the use of free space on the hard disk, the program analyzes the size of the created tiles and does not store tiles that do not contain information (empty data). The new version supports the cutting of tiles with numbering for the TMS standard.

    The program allows you to create tiles in the formats JPEG, PNG, PNG8 and MBTiles according to the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0 and the TMS standard. Tile data generated by the ImageryCreator program is used by software of GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE to provide high-speed query execution for displaying spatial data over large areas while simultaneously accessing a large number of users.

  • 27.06.2017 GIS WebServer AGRO provides a remote management of resource-saving farming technologies
    Resource-saving agriculture is not only a change in the way of basic tillage, but a whole system that reduces production costs while improving soil fertility. Agrarian GIS on the basis of "Panorama AGRO" provides the accumulation of a large amount of spatial data characterizing the contours of agricultural lands and local conditions of soil fertility in a single database of the agricultural holding. GIS WebServer AGRO as part of the agrarian GIS of agrarian holding's provides remote access to an unlimited number of layers of spatial data and attributive information about the contours of arable land, individual segments of the field, agricultural producers' facilities and the infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex of the region located in the information base.

    GIS WebServer AGRO version 2.2 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version the speed and reliability of work is increased at processing of a large number of cartographical layers and execution of long search requests. As sources of spatial data, GIS WebServer AGRO uses maps from the agricultural holding database published by cartographical service the GIS WebService SE and the geoinformation layers connected from external sources of the Internet (for example, satellite imagery from the Kosmosnimki portal or land boundaries from the Public Cadastral Service Map "). When the layers of the agricultural holding are located on the GIS Server, the coordinate description of the accounting objects of the agro-holding in industrial DBMS is maintained. In new version of GIS WebServer AGRO there is added the possibility to make direct changes into semantic characteristics of the spatial data characterising the contours of fields and other objects of the account of an agricultural producer, without using the special tool of map editing.

    GIS WebServer AGRO allows you to use the full range of data needed for resource-saving technologies: satellite monitoring of crops, soil sampling points, soil fertility maps, application of GLONASS/GPS tools to monitor field progress and yield mapping, preparation for differential application of fertilizers, support of data collection from unmanned aerial vehicles, monitoring of vehicles and agricultural machinery, and others.

  • 23.06.2017 GIS "Panorama" developed a technology for applying laser scanning data from various sources to build a highly accurate digital terrain model
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.5 is developed. In the new version of the program, the task "Navigator 3D" is refined. Into it the new mode "Cloud of points" is added which provides displaying the data of laser scanning of terrain in three-dimensional model. As one of sources of the data of laser scanning, the dense digital model of a surface is used that was created by software PHOTOMOD DenseDSM of the Rakurs company. The model, calculated on the basis of many types of input data using the method SGM (Semi-Global Matching), simplifies the creation of three-dimensional urban high-resolution models and can be loaded into the GIS "Panorama" for displaying in two-dimensional and three-dimensional form, vectoring, constructions of profiles and execution of other calculation tasks. The digital model of a surface comes in LAS-files. The data of the terrain's laser scanning is downloaded from LAS-files and stored as MTD-models.

    The new "Cloud of points" mode allows you to display in a three-dimensional form a cloud of points of any volume. If the points have not only high-altitude, but also the color data, this data is also used for 3D-displaying. Otherwise, the model is displayed in the colors of the altitude palette. The model of a cloud of points can be displayed in the original form or its data are included into the terrain mapping.

    In the task the "Automated generalization of topographic maps" a new mode "Setting the range of roads visibility" was added. This mode is designed to simplify an overloaded road network at transition to smaller scales of maps. At compression of the map image the density of objects per unit of the area of a map increases. Linear objects of the road network begin to paint each other and adjacent polygonal map objects (blocks and industrial objects). The new mode allows you to save all objects of the road network, including streets and driveways in the derived map. The task is designed for processing topographic terrain maps in the scale from 1:25 000 up to 1: 1 000 000. This method allows to realise the multiscale maps providing the qualitative image in several scales, and also to raise degree of automation of processes of drawing up and the issuing maps of smaller scales.

    The converter of digital vector maps from SHP format has been improved. It supports the import of a folders tree with SHP files, with the automatic formation of sheets and map layers in national division and coordinate systems, with the assignment of conventional symbols by alphanumeric code in any national language encoded in UTF.

    In the "Classifier Editor" in the "Layers" bookmark, there is added the ability to set the order of displaying objects within a given layer (the button "Objects order"). It allows to unite layers of the same-type in the classifier which have been entered earlier for management of order of objects display. Flexible setting of the classifier simplifies the preparation of libraries of conventional symbols according to the requirements adopted in the national mapping systems of different countries.

    The sorting of multi-sheet maps (MAP) is accelerated by 3-4 times due to multi-threaded processing on multi-core processors. When sorting map objects, the order of displaying objects in the layer is taken into account.

    The complex of geodesy calculations is improved. There is implemented the storage and editing of data on documents that establish the category of land, the type of permitted use and the address of land use not only for the formed, but also for the specified, changeable and original sites. Screen elements are added for entering and editing information about a natural object. The procedure for analyzing the initial data specified by the user for the formation of the scheme for the location of the land plot on the cadastral plan of the territory was automated.

    The task "Import of navigational data from GPX files" is improved. The program allows to load simultaneously several files in format GPX onto one map. This will save operator time on converting data.

    The program has refined the dialog "Image color adjustment", which is called via the menu item "Options\Colors" in tasks of "Data lists" or "Map legend". There is added the possibility of creating and editing a set of the user palettes to control the displaying the matrixes of terrain elevation that were added into the document.

    In the task of "Check of vector map quality" the output of report documents into the HTML-file is added. Outputting reports into HTML file allows you to generate reporting documents without using office programs. There is added the ability to run several instances of GIS "Panorama" for execution of control of various vector maps with the issuance of reports into HTML format (a report into MS Word is executed only from one program).

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" updated educational and presentation materials on work with agrarian geoinformation systems: GIS "Panorama AGRO", GIS "Panorama-editor FARMING", GIS "Panorama AUTO", "Workstation of Agronomist", Panorama AGRO Service and GIS WebServer AGRO. The basic software for creating the geographic information system of the agro-enterprise is the GIS Panorama AGRO. It provides accounting of agricultural lands, maintenance of the soil fertility base, agro-technological planning of agriculture, monitoring of the status of fields and crops, maintenance of a database of information on vehicles, agricultural machinery and aggregates. It provides remote monitoring of mechanized operations based on GLONASS/GPS navigation of technical facilities and information interaction with external programs, including products on the 1C platform.

  • 12.06.2017 ImageryCreator forms a single geoinformation space that use tile arrays the Big Data
    ImageryCreator version 9 is developed in KB "Panorama". To build corporate, regional, departmental geoinformation systems, it is necessary to use large amounts of information (Big Data). These systems should work in a single geoinformation space, monitor changes in territories and display them promptly. To this end, a new version of the ImageryCreator program was developed to publish large amounts of information in the form of Big Data tiles. It allows you to use all resources of a multi-core server. By distributing the load across the threads, ImageryCreator allows you to cut the tiles several times faster. Thus, the time for creating huge data sets in tens of terabytes is shortened from a few days to several hours.

    The program can work at once with several data projects. The parameters of each user's work are saved separately. The program allows to create several pyramids of tiles which can have different formats, scales and types of matrixes. ImageryCreator and ImageryService have a single structure of the settings file. This allows to simplify the process of data administration, to make a technological chain (ImageryCreator - GIS WebServiceSE - GIS WebServer SE) for publication of the spatial data more simple and understandable.

    GIS WebServer SE version 3.2.1 is developed in KB "Panorama". In the new version of the program, loading of data for classifiers of layers is optimized - data acquisition is performed when there is a need for them. There are added a control of moving the map image for small scales of displaying, control of borders of scaling in the mode of scaling a map by a frame. When creating or opening local layers, users can prevent them from being edited.

    Map layers of GIS WebServer SE published from the GIS Server reflect the current state of the spatial data base in the mode of time near to the real. GIS Server, starting with version 7.1.3, monitors the changes of the connected geospatial databases and automatically updates their images in the specified conventional symbols. In GIS WebServer SE displayed objects of both two-dimensional, and spatial model are dynamically synchronized with current changes on a map.

  • 01.06.2017 GIS Server SE provides direct multiuser access to the geospatial databases in the form of maps in the specified conventional symbols
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server SE of version 7.1.7 is developed for CentOS OS. In the new version, a direct connection to geospatial data bases is implemented for viewing and editing the tables in the form of maps in given conventional symbols. Databases managed by DBMS PostgreSQL with PostGIS extension are supported.

    In the new version of the program the user has an opportunity to make changes to databases through the graphic interface of the GIS "Panorama" client by tools of editing digital terrain maps. If you change the coordinates of the objects, the fields of the Geometry type in the database table will change, and when the semantics change, the fields with attributive data of objects will change.

    GIS Server SE monitors changes of the connected geospatial databases and automatically updates their image in the specified conventional symbols. Changes can be made by any external applications by execution of SQL queries. To track changes into the database an auxiliary table is added - a change log and a trigger for filling it. For forced updating of the image of the connected geospatial databases the combination of keys CTRL-F5 is applied.

    Parameters of displaying a database in the form of a map (table, data presentation or SQL-query)) are saved on the server in a file with DBM extension having XML structure. Administration of connection to databases is built-in into the general interface of administration the GIS Server SE. Examples of DBM files for connecting database tables on the Internet are included into the program installation.

    The means of connection to the database the GIS Server SE include the capabilities of the Spatial DB Service, however, the speed of image formation and updating has become much higher. In need of scaling the productivity at the expense of processing of several databases on different servers, it is expedient to use separate copies of service the Spatial DB Service. There is improved the reading of multipoligons from databases with the formation of multipoligons on the map (previously groups of individual objects were formed).

    The ability is added to specify a shared folder of documents for a virtual folder with vector maps. This eliminates the need to administer individual maps that can be created in virtual folders during the execution of different requests. At addition into semantics of objects of vector maps of references onto documents, they will be automatically saved in the shared folder.

    GIS Server SE provides remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, matrices, documents and spatial data bases. Multi-level connection of servers among themselves for distributed storage and processing of spatial data with automatic replication, backup and data protection is supported.

  • 26.05.2017 For English-speaking users the new version of GIS "Panorama" 12 and the classifier of topographic maps of scale 1: 50 000 are developed
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" x64 version 12.4.5 is developed with the interface in English. In the new version of the program, tools for creating and updating maps, means for working with databases, drawing up maps with complex symbols, computational tasks and other modules have been improved. At the expense of connection to the program GIS Server there is added the possibility of viewing and editing the databases operated by DBMS PostgreSQL or Oracle, by tools of editing digital terrain maps. If you change the coordinates of the objects, the fields of the Geometry type in the database table will change, and when the semantics change, the fields with attributive data of objects will change. GIS Server supports direct connection to geospatial data bases for viewing tables in the form of vector maps in specified conventional symbols. There is expanded a support of the local SQLite database for displaying terrain matrix data in hmp format and performing all kinds of computational tasks related to heights (construction of profiles, visibility zones, estimation of elevation, calculation of ground volumes, 3D modeling and other tasks).

    ZIP is added to the list of formats to be opened. If you select zip, it is automatically unpacked into the folder \Temp\Panorama.Cache\. Data opens in order of priority: the project of maps, vector maps, rasters, matrixes. This allows you to archive projects of the geodata, to copy and quickly to view. Data in archive opens on reading. After closing of the unpacked data they automatically are deleted. There is added a support for zip archives, encrypted by a user password, at performing the operations of opening the data sets (vector maps, images, matrices) and updating the open data. If the zip archive is encrypted, the user will be prompted to enter a password to access the data.

    In the program the task "Export of vector data to GML/JSON format" is improved. Possibility is added for saving the vector data into GeoJson format with taking into account the styles of displaying. In this case, into the file not only the geometry of objects is saved, but also their metadata and external view. The output file can be published in web by means of services the Leaflet, OpenLayers, 2gis, OpenStreetMap and others supporting GeoJson with styles.

    Due to multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor, the execution time of operations on lists of objects is reduced by 6-8 times, displaying of rasters (imagery) of RSW format is accelerated in 3-5 times, a displaying the matrixes of heights of MTW format and matrixes of qualities of MTQ format is accelerated in 3-4 times. The evaluation is performed on an Intel i7 processor (4 real and 4 virtual cores).

    Transformation of list of raster files of RSW format is refined. Due to multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor, the task execution time is reduced by 6-8 times (for 8 threads).

    Transforming the list of matrixes of heights of MTW format and matrixes of qualities of MTQ format is improved. Time of the task execution is reduced in 5-6 times (for 8 threads).
    The classifier 50t05g.engl.rsc of topographic maps of scale 1: 50 000 has been developed and added to the installation of the program. Classifier is a systematized list of code marks for elements and objects of the terrain, as well as characteristics characterizing the properties of these objects, in English.

    The program for loading and displaying the cloud of points (LAS) has been improved. Open binary format LAS is intended for storaging the records of points obtained by means of LIDAR locators (light detection and ranging) - the laser locators used for sounding of the sea and terrestrial surface. Loading of a cloud of points from files of LAS format of large volume is accelerated. At loading a cloud of points from the LAS format, the colors of the original points used for 2D and 3D-displaying are saved. One of such types of data is the dense digital model of a surface created by software PHOTOMOD DenseDSM of the Racurs company.   • 23.05.2017 Into GIS "Operator" the means of supporting a single geo information space are refined
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" is developed for power structures of version 12.4.5. The program provides support for a single geo information space on the basis of construction of the network architecture operated by servers of spatial data (GIS Server) and application servers (GIS WebService SE). As a source of geospatial data the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be applied. In the new version the speed of requesting and updating the data from the GIS Server is increased when working with arbitrary databases of spatial data. There is expanded a support of the local SQLite database for displaying terrain matrix data in hmp format and performing all kinds of computational tasks related to heights (construction of profiles, visibility zones, estimation of elevation, calculation of ground volumes, 3D modeling and other tasks).

    The mode of Map Editor - Creation of group of objects by coordinates from a text file is modified. There is added the possibility to build orthodromy by the coordinates of the file MET - an arc on the Earth's surface, passing through the shortest distance between the given points. To execute the task in a text file with the .MET extension, you need the presence of the #ORTHODROME service field and two lines with the coordinates of the starting and ending points of the created object - the arc. At large distances (thousands of kilometers), the points of the arc are formed with a step of no more than 0.4 degrees, for small distances - no more than 10 kilometers, which ensures the determination of lengths and angles with triangulation accuracy of 1 class.

    New property "Save time and date of object update" is added in the dialog of creating a new map. If the map is created with the specified property, then into each object, when creating and editing, service semantics are automatically recorded with the date and time of the performed operation and with the name of the operator that performed the operation.

    There is added a support for zip archives, encrypted by a user password, at performing the operations of opening the data sets (vector maps, images, matrices) and updating the open data. If the zip archive is encrypted, the user will be prompted to enter a password to access the data.

    The program for loading and displaying the cloud of points (LAS) has been improved. Open binary format LAS is intended for storaging the records of points obtained by means of LIDAR locators (light detection and ranging) - the laser locators used for sounding of the sea and terrestrial surface. Loading of a cloud of points from files of LAS format of large volume is accelerated. At loading a cloud of points from the LAS format, the colors of the original points used for 2D and 3D-display are saved. Support of the pseudo-conical equal-projection of Bonn (EPSG:9827) is added. The new projection can be selected for maps of the Geographical type.

  • 19.05.2017 GIS WebServer SE expands possibilities of 3D modelling
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3.2 is developed. In the new version the component of three-dimensional model of a map is updated. The 3D model provides the ability to work and view information layers of various types (vector, matrix and raster maps) for spatial analysis and decision making during designing. 3D surface is created taking into account the terrain. Detailed models can contain three-dimensional objects that correspond to objects of a two-dimensional map. 3D Map allows you to select objects and to get information about them.

    In the new version of the component of map's 3D model, the displaying of titles is added, the loading and processing of the terrain is accelerated. The possibility of binding the view of a three-dimensional object to its semantic characteristics is added. In order to reduce the load on the server, there is added the possibility of work with tiles of different size (256Ρ…256, 1024Ρ…1024). In the Map Editor, when you edit and delete an object, there is added a displaying the list of objects that are in the current point. For the active mode of the Editor, this list is an optional possibility for selecting an object.

    Toolkit of development of Web-applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    As a source of spatial data, the Data bank of digital maps and remote sensing data can be. It provides the collection, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, a displaying the state of the data bank in the form of maps-schemes, the automated formation and updating of geo-covers.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities. The new version of the program expands the application's capabilities in solving problems of analysis, management and long-term planning of the territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented using the toolkit of GIS WebToolKit SE, which can be used in development tools that use the JavaScript.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.4.5 is developed.     In KB "Panorama" there is developed the GIS Operator SE of version 11.13.8 for the Astra Linux SE operating system, the release of Smolensk. In the new version, the possibilities of combining digital data are expanded.

    Now to the list of the open data the user can add interesting sets of maps, matrixes or rasters by a simple choice of the list. Among added maps both the user maps (formats SIT, SITX), and multisheets maps (MAP format) can be. The displaying the external view of the object has been improved, taking into account the library of programmable conventional signs in the tasks the "Classifier Editor" and "Information about Object". When importing data from a set of SXF files, the diagnostic output is extended. Import of maps from Shape format is optimised. The task "Show data list of map" has been completed.   • 28.04.2017 In GIS WebService SE the speed and reliability of service is increased at round-the-clock work
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 11.7.0 is developed. The new version of the service increases the reliability when working with data on the GIS Server. In the event of termination of the access right to the layers by the administrator of the Server GIS, the publication of this data on the service is completed.

    By means of the built-in self-diagnostics the service allows to identify and eliminate failures that occur at processing the incorrect data or lack of server resources. These possibilities increase the reliability and fault tolerance of the application, and also speed up the search for errors and decision-making by the service administrator to change the server hardware resources.

    Issuance of textures is added to display 3D object models. There is extended the output of semantic characteristics for issuing queries in GEOJson.

    GIS WebService SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS), through which the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The program provides the ability to issue tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with Apache, IIS and nginx web-servers.

    Specialists of KB "Panorama" will take part in intersectoral 1st Week of Science, Technology and Innovations GeoData "Geospatial technologies and spatial data for economy and security of Russia". The event will be held from 22 to 26 May 2017 at the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography (MIIGAiK). At this event, KB "Panorama" will present its new software solutions for the creation, processing and analysis of spatial data necessary for the introduction of modern geospatial technologies and services. The presentation "Geoinformation platform" Panorama "- the basis for building information systems for various purposes" presents information on the main components of modern GIS: server of spatial data, service of GIS-application, desktop GIS, mobile and Web application for processing and analysis of spatial data.

    The report "Automating the processes of accumulation, storage and provision of spatial data in the form of services" focuses on the systemic approach to managing the storage of spatial data, monitoring and presenting actual data sets in the form of geoservices. During the master class "Implementation of service-oriented information systems for state, municipal and corporate governance," the practical aspects of the implementation of GIS components into integrated and branch systems of various directions will be considered: "Territory Management", "Cadastre and Land Management", "Construction and Architecture", "Agriculture", "Urban Management", "Smart City", "Emergency Situations and Security", "Nature Conservation and Ecology".

  • 20.04.2017 Tests of the Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information of version 7 are finished
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information version 7.0.1 was tested. The new version optimizes the algorithms for the output of aeronautical information on the map. This allowed to reduce the creation time of digital maps by 10-15%. The functions of inputting data into the base of the complex have been improved. The program uses Postgres 9.4 or 9.5 (x64) DBMS, which makes it possible to speed up the process of batch entry of data from the exchange formats by 20-25%. Improved internal functions of interaction with the database, which in turn allowed to increase the productivity of input operations.

    The work of the complex was improved at the stage of entering the infrastructure of the aerodrome. The performance of the application was tested using the example of the Kurgan airfield. Input of data from pre-prepared sources, including all infrastructure elements, took 2 hours instead of 8 hours in version 6.11.1.

    There is carried out a import of aeronautical situation of the Russian Federation onto a map from format ARINC. Time of drawing all objects in the new version was reduced by 25%, time of import to the database - by 10%.

    The functions of constructing the schemes of departure, arrival and landing, an algorithm for plotting the routes of zone navigation (RNAV) have been improved. The algorithm for creating and mapping OAS surfaces has been improved. Dialogs and forms of tasks of the complex are adapted to the styles of the operating system.

    The tests were carried out on the computer with a Windows 7 x64 operating system, an Intel Core i3 processor and 4 GB of RAM. To evaluate the results of tests of the software complex in versions 6.11.1 and 7.0.1, statistical information was collected on the execution time, the RAM used and the CPU utilization.

    Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information is intended for the creation and maintenance of a database of aeronautical information, the formation of aeronautical charts, the designing of flight routes for aircraft and the exchange of data with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in ARINC and AIXM 5.1 format. The main source of aeronautical information is the aeronautical data base created on the basis of the Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model (AICM), with additions for storing the planned information and the results of the route designing. The model is recommended by the international organization for planning and coordination of air traffic "Eurocontrol".

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Constructor of version 12.0.2 is developed for domestic operating system Astra Linux Special Edition (release "Smolensk"). In the new version the reliability of library work of connection to geoportals is improved. The display of titles in Unicode format has been clarified. In the object search dialog the possibilities of working with models are expanded. The ability to rotate raster and matrix data on-the-fly is added. Work with files of projects MPT at the expense of use of relative paths to files of maps is improved. There is expanded the set of API functions for execution of geometric and overlay operations, import / export of raster maps of JPEG format, work with a three-dimensional model of the terrain, access to matrix map files, and construction of triangulation.

    GIS Constructor is a set of components for developing GIS applications for use in the visual programming environment of Qt Designer. The visualization of the contents of digital maps is made in conventional symbols adopted for topographic, geographical, cadastral and other types of maps.   • 11.04.2017 Developer kit for GIS "Panorama" 12 demonstrates embedding into GIS of application tasks developed in Visual Studio C ++
    In the KB "Panorama" the SDK for the GIS "Panorama" 12 was updated. The kit includes an example of an application task developed on MAPAPI and PANAPI interfaces in the Visual Studio C ++ environment. The MAPAPI interface provides direct processing of vector maps and remote sensing data, and the PANAPI interface - the interactive interaction tools. The PANAPI interface is based on the use of three kinds of control objects: the digital map window, the application task, the handler of a current command (one of the interactive modes of the task). The processed data can be located in local data sets or on the GIS Server, including in spatial databases managed by the DBMS. The implementation of applications on the x64 platform provides processing of spatial data of any size and increases the speed of work due to the possibility of multithreaded data processing.

  • 07.04.2017 GIS "Server" supports the viewing and collective editing of geospatial data bases
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.1.3 is developed. The new version of the program monitors the changes in the connected geospatial databases and automatically updates their images in the specified symbols. Changes can be made by any external applications by executing SQL queries. To monitor changes an auxiliary table is added into the database - a change log and a trigger for its filling. The combination of keys CTRL-F5 is applied to compulsory updating the image of the connected bases of geospatial data.

    When working with data from database tables, the same tools are available as for the vector maps. GIS Server allows you in the near real-time mode to monitor and to synchronize changes in the spatial data base by external applications, users of the GIS "Panorama" and GIS WebServer SE web clients. The volume of the database and the intensity of changes are limited only by the capacity of the drives and the network bandwidth. To minimize updates, only those records are processed that were modified.

    A description of the process of logging the changes and processing by the GIS Server the Change Log is given in the System Programmer's Guide. In the current version, databases are supported operated by PostgreSQL with PostGIS and Oracle DBMS extensions. The scripts for creating the change log and the trigger texts are included into the GIS Server installation. Parameters of displaying a database (the table, data presentation or SQL-query) in the form of a map are stored on the server into a file with DBM extension having XML structure.

    The tools of connection to the GIS Server databases duplicate the capabilities of the service of Spatial Data Base Service and the Programs of monitoring a database and updating maps"bMonitor), but the administration of connection to the databases is embedded into the general administration interface of the GIS Server. The speed of image formation and updating in the GIS Server is much higher.

Users are given the opportunity to edit, delete or add new points of the created path or polygon outline.

    The "Search by area" component is updated. In the mode of searching for objects by distance from a point, it is possible to enter the required distance value from the keyboard. Possibilities of the administration module are expanded.
    There are added a setting of the authentication type and management of the list of application's administrators. Four types of authentication are supported: Basic authentication, Digest authentication, Web server authentication, Domain authentication.

  • 28.03.2017 Complex of preparing documents of the aeronautical information is developed for the x64 platform
    In KB "Panorama" the Complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information of version 7 for GIS "Panorama" 12 on platform x64 is developed. In the new version the interfaces for infrastructure input and aerodrome parameters have been refined and updated. Into dialog of input of routes ATS (air traffic service) the AIP view (Aeronautical Information Collection) has been added. The database structure is ordered and supplemented. The functions of information's output to the map are improved. Algorithms of output are optimized and converters of AIXM 5.1 and ARINC are adapted for the 64-bit platform. The new version of the program removes the limitations of the 32-bit version for the use of RAM, there is implemented a more efficient model of working with available RAM. Use of all available RAM allows to accelerate the work with maps of large volume in tasks of displaying the spatial data, search and selection of map objects on the user-selected conditions, at editing of large files of objects, in the solution of theoretical and analytical problems.

    The complex of preparing documents of aeronautical information is intended for creating and conducting a database of aeronautical information, formation of aeronautical maps, designing of aircrafts flights routes and data exchange with other information systems. Information exchange is carried out in format ARINC and AIXM 5.1. The basic source of the aeronavigation information is the aeronautical database based on the model of AICM (Aeronautical Information Conceptual Model), with additions for storage of the planned information and results of designing the routes. The model is recommended by the international organization for planning and coordination of air traffic "Eurocontrol".

  • 21.03.2017 A kit of geographic maps of scale 1: 1 000 000 is supplemented by map of the State of Alaska (USA)
    KB "Panorama" prepared a digital geographical map of scale 1: 1 000 000 in format SXF for the State of Alaska (USA). VMap0 data obtained according to information from the website www.gis-lab.info has served as source for map's preparation. The map contains information about the quantity of inhabitants for cities and the names of settlements in Russian. As additional materials the World Map of scale 1: 5 000 000 and data of OpenStreetMap were used. The map is led to the classifier of geographical maps of scale from 1: 1 000 000 (1mogk13g.rsc).

    It can be used for the general estimation of district and studying of an environment, an ensuring of educational process, as a basis for creation of geographical maps of smaller scale, thematic and special maps and solving other tasks.

    The map is distributed free according to the free licence.

  • 17.03.2017 In GIS "Panorama" a support of spatial databases SQLite is added
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama" version 12.4.3 is developed. The new version adds support for the local SQLite database for displaying the pyramid of tiles of remote sensing data in a SQLite data set (files with extensions sl3, sqlite3, s3db, db3).

    Due to multi-threaded processing on a multi-core processor, the execution time of operations on lists of objects is reduced by 6-8 times - a search for intersections, occurrences, location at a given distance, and so on. There is added the accounting for multipolygons when searching for objects by a given area, taking into account the occurrence, intersection, location at a given distance. Speed of constructing the list of the found objects is increased in 2-3 times due to multithreaded processing on multi-core processors.

    The "Map Editor" has been improved. New objects are located on the map at once, taking into account the order of the layers displaying specified in the classifier, without additional sorting of the map. To manage the order of recording objects on the map when sorting the map, a service file with the SIN extension is formed. If the SIN file was not created, then the objects are written to the map in the order of their type (polygon, linear, etc.). The dialogue "Select object" is refined. On the Metric bookmark a map window has been added with the ability to display the section with the current point of the object's metric. This allows you to view the contours of extended objects and to correct the coordinates of points without leaving the dialog.

    In the task of "Map Computer" the modes "Information about the object" and "Statistics of selected objects" have been improved. In the statistics mode, the option "All maps" is added, which allows to display information about the selected objects from all maps. In the "Information about the object" dialog, the "Statistics of selected objects" mode has been added to view the attributes for each part of the generalized terrain object. The task "Complex of problems of UAV support" is modified. In dialog "Report formation" a new text field was added for introduction of a stamp (security label) of the document. The template corresponding to this dialog is improved.

    At the expense of connection to the program GIS Server of version 7.1.2 there is added the possibility of viewing and editing the databases operated by DBMS PostgreSQL or Oracle, by tools of editing digital terrain maps. If you change the coordinates of the objects, the fields of the Geometry type in the database table will change, and when the semantics change, the fields with attributive data of objects will change. GIS Server supports direct connection to geospatial data bases for viewing tables in the form of vector maps in specified conventional symbols.

    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 3 is developed. The new version of the program has updated the "Map Editor". The mode of creating and editing the objects of type the multipolygon is added. Added the mode of creating and editing objects of the type of multipolygon. Editing the geometry of objects is done using a frame that allows you to scale and rotate the object. The mode of objects selection is changed: objects of edited map layers automatically are highlighted at movement of the mouse and are selected by double clicking. The hints and comments to the user's actions are added.

    The updated "Map Objects" component in a tabular form provides information about objects when performing search and selection operations. It is possible to display extended information about map objects from additional sources.

    Possibilities of the administration module are expanded. With a view of safety increase there is added the possibility of automatic connection to a directories service using the GSSAPI Kerberos mechanism.

    The toolkit of development of Web-applications the GIS WebToolKit SE has been improved, which expands possibilities of GIS WebServer SE and can be integrated into other information systems.

    A new mechanism for managing interactive modes simplifies the development of tasks. Access to data (images, vector maps and terrain information) is provided by Web services using common OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of high-altitude data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the automatic sample of the most accurate data onto the specified terrain site with a given resolution. To transfer data of the digital terrain model to the Web, the WCS protocol is used. The relief data are represented as tiles and are cached on the client.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of closed corporate systems to ensure the protection of data having a security classification or a trade secret. GIS WebServer SE is certified for Level 2 of absence of undeclared capabilities.   • 06.03.2017 GIS Server provides direct editing of spatial databases and displaying in the form of maps in standard conventional symbols
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.1 is developed. In the new version the possibility is added for editing of databases operated by DBMS PostgreSQL, through the graphic interface of the client of GIS "Panorama" by tools of editing the digital terrain maps. If you change the coordinates of objects, the fields of the Geometry type in the database table will change, and when the semantics change, the fields with attributive data of objects will change. GIS Server supports direct connection to bases of geospatial data for viewing tables in the form of maps in the specified conventional symbols. Parameters of displaying a database (table, data presentation or SQL-query)) in the form of a map are saved on the server in a file with DBM extension having XML structure. Examples of DBM files for connecting database tables on the Internet are included into the GIS Server installation. The new version has improved the reading of multipoligons from databases with the formation of multipoligons on the map (previously groups of individual objects were formed).

    GIS Server supports multi-level connection of servers among themselves for distributed storage and processing of spatial data with automatic replication, backup and data protection. Such architecture in tens times reduces loading a network of data transmission, speeds up access to data and improves reliability of work. GIS Server gives remote access to vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes, documents and spatial databases for users of GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator" and other programs developed in the environment of GIS ToolKit or GIS Constructor for Linux.

  • 01.03.2017 "Complex of geological tasks" for GIS "Panorama" version 12 provides building the matrixes of layers of great volume at formation of a geological section
    In KB "Panorama" the "Complex of geological tasks" is developed for GIS "Panorama" 12 version 2 on the x64 platform. The new version of software package includes more than 20 functional tasks, combined in groups. "Complex of geological tasks" contains the panel of modes and tasks "Geological editor" and an application "Calculating bulks of earth works". Applying modes of the geological editor provides data input about the composition and structure of the soil onto digital map, preparation and formation of engineering-geological columns and sections. Application "Calculating bulks of earth works" allows you to perform the calculation of bulks of moved soil and automatic forming the plan of earth works.

    The new version removes the limitation of 32-bit version on the memory usage, a more efficient model is implemented with the available RAM. Use of all available RAM allows to accelerate work with maps of great volume in tasks of displaying spatial data, search and selection of map objects by conditions chosen by the user, at editing of the big arrays of objects, in the solution of calculation and analytical tasks. "Complex of geological tasks" is able to work effectively with bases of geodata of unlimited volume, and also with rasters and matrixes in the sizes up to Tbyte and with data of geoportals which can be displayed together with vector terrain maps.

  • 28.02.2017 GIS WebService SE processes a new type of spatial data - multipolygon
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebService SE version 11.6.1 is developed. In the new version of the program a support of multipolygons is added. This type of object allows you to combine several individual polygon objects into one. Use of multipolygons will allow to avoid duplication of semantic characteristics, reducing the overall amount of information, to unite objects of the same type, reducing quantity of spatially-logic links and simplifying process of visual perception of objects (for example, the Kuril Islands, borders of the states and others).

    There is accelerated the process of updating images of vector maps which are issued by WMS protocol, at intensive editing of maps objects on the GIS Server. For example, at displaying tracks of movement of vehicles the updating of vector data is carried out in parallel with drawing a current state. Output of semantic characteristics for issuing requests in GeoJson is expanded. For the Databank of digital maps and remote sensing data the request of updating schemes and maps is modified. Output of a name of a formed log file is added.

    GIS WebServiсe SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS) with which help the transfer and displaying spatial data is carried out. The application has the possibility of issuing tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with the web-server Apache, IIS, nginx.

  • 17.02.2017 In the Databank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data the possibilities of data protection and counteraction to various types of attacks are enhanced
    In KB "Panorama" the Databank of digital maps and Remote Sensing Data of version 3.4 is developed. Within the scope of increasing a safety of work the program complex supports an authentication and differentiation of access rights for groups of users, domain authorisation (Active Directory, Kerberos) and a system authentication by web server means. In the new version the logging of users actions and viewing of events log is added. The log contains operations such as authentication, issuance, loading and deleting of data sets, metadata editing, issuing reports and protocols, creating gec-overings. You can search and sort the events according to date, user name, first name or code of the event. At presence at event of own log its viewing is available.

    The databank of digital maps and remote sensing data is intended for construction of cloud storehouse of spatial data, providing access to this data, the automated formation and updating of geo-coverings. It provides the gathering, storage, search and delivery of spatial data in exchange formats, displaying a status of a databank in the form of maps-schemes. Maps-schemes are conducted for each type of stored data: vector maps, remote sensing data, matrixes of heights and terrain models. There is provided a remote placing the sets of spatial data into file storehouse, conducting the versions of stored sets, updating of maps-schemes of data availability, the automated gathering and formation of metadata, the automated formation and updating of geo-coverings. The automated gathering and formation of the metadata is performed according to standards of ISO 19115:2003, Geographic information - Metadata and ISO/TS 19139, Geographic information - Metadata - XML schema implementation. The reduced copies of data images are automatically formed, the checksum of files and completeness of data sets are verified. At removal of data sets from storehouse the editing of metadata base and maps-schemes of materials availability is automatically carried out.

    The reference to the Databank and data exchange is carried out via the web-interface. The program can work in operating systems with the closed contour where processing of protected data is carried out. The databank includes applications the GIS Server and GIS WebService SE that are certified to Level 2 of undeclared possibilities in system of certification of means of the information protection of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. For conducting base of the metadata there are used the DBMS PostgreSQL (OS Windows, Astra Linux SE), DBMS Zarya (OS Zarya-data processing center).

    The complex includes the module of administrating the Bank of Digital Maps and Remote Sensing Data. It provides customizing the general parameters of the application's work, customizing the parameters of metadata base, a choice of formats of storage and the composition of groups of stored files, types of objects for maps-schemes, conducting the groups of users and assigning the rights of users for access to the data and allowed actions. Users of desktop programs the GIS "Panorama", "Panorama-editor" and others can connect to Bank of metadata through the GIS Server for work.

  • 07.02.2017 A new generation of GIS "Operator" for power structures is developed
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Operator" x64 version 12 is developed. The new version of the program can quickly display and manipulate geodatabase of large volumes together with rasters, matrices and data of geoportals by using all available RAM and multi-threaded performance of programs on multi-core processors. Displaying of rasters (imagery) of RSW format is accelerated in 3-5 times. In 3-4 times there is accelerated displaying the matrixes of heights of MTW format and matrixes of qualities of MTQ format. Speed of constructing the reduced copies of rasters and matrixes after procedures of import or compression of data is increased at 10-15 time. Transformation of the list of raster files of RSW format is accelerated by 6-8 times. A transforming the list of matrixes of heights of MTW format and matrixes of qualities of MTQ format is accelerated by 5-6 times. Assessment is made on the Intel i7 processor, compared to the version 11.

    Display and editing of spatial databases managed by the DBMS PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server, is provided through a connection to the GIS Server version 7.Ρ….

    New task the "Report Editor is added that allows to create and print the documents, including maps, graphics, multi-line text with different attributes, embedded Office documents and tables, out-of-frame designing, coordinate grids and other elements. Printing the entire report or just the current page is performed by one mouse click. The generated report can be saved to disk for later creation on its basis of similar reports. Into the titles text there is included a support for keywords #date, #.date and #time, which at displaying text are automatically replaced with the current date (DD/MM/YYYY or DD.MM.YYYY) and time (HH: MM: CC). Titles with the specified key words can be used, in particular, when printing maps to fix the date and time of image formation.
    For example, the title with the text "Current date: #date #time" can be displayed as text "Current date: 25/08/2016 19:00:15", and the title with the text "Current date: #.date #time - as the text "Current date: 25.08.2016 19:00:15". In the task "Map Computer" there is modified the mode "Information about the object". The mode allows you to collect the data about the terrain object consisting of a great number of separate parts, by the object identifier (the road number, the river name and so forth). Into the dialog the options are added which allow you to collect the object from parts of different layers (for example, highway in the layer of road net and the main streets in the layer of settlements) that allows to receive more complete information about the object in general and the distribution of properties (semantics) by individual parts.

    There is added a possibility of collecting the data about object not only in a multisheet map (MAP), but also in the project (MPT) of maps set (SIT, SITX), having the identical classifier. In the dialog box "Select object" there is changed the algorithm for calculating the area of the objects having extent on a longitude more than 5 degrees. Error of calculations makes about 1/10 000 from the object area. The extended accuracy of calculation of the area is provided at a selecting the "Clarify the area and length" in the menu "Options" and a choice in Select Object dialog in the pop-up menu for item "Accuracy of coordinates display" of the value "Extended". Membership of units of measure is expanded at displaying the angles between the sides of the object and azimuths. Into dialog "Measurement of distances (building orthodrome)" and into the mode "Line length" there are added the units of measure of corners: protractor divisions, angular miles and rumb. In the mode "Line length" to set the desired unit of angles measure it is necessary in the menu by the right mouse button to choose the appropriate item.

    Into the main panel of the program there is added a call of the new universal mode the Mark objects by arbitrary area. Selecting objects is performed by the area bounded by a closed loop, which is being built in several ways: rectangle, polygon, and an arbitrary area (lasso). The choice of the method of constructing a closed loop is performed automatically and depends on the user's actions. For example, to select objects by a polygon the specifying the points of a polygon is performed by pressing the left mouse button. When you select objects by the frame to indicate the rectangular frame itself, you must click the left mouse button and while holding it, start moving the mouse diagonally. To select objects by arbitrary area (lasso), press the left mouse button and while holding it, start moving around the selected area. To end the mode, release the mouse button. In the task the "Navigator 3D" there is implemented a constructing the 3D-model of relief and surface objects by a cloud of points. Cloud of point is the result of laser scanning of terrain, obtained by laser radar LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging). "Navigator 3D" task allows to carry out construction of two types of models (solid and nodal). Construction of solid model is recommended for demonstration of regular models of a relief (matrixes of elevations) and the cloud of points containing mainly points of the terrain relief. Construction of nodal model is recommended for demonstration of a cloud of the points containing points of the terrain relief, buildings, vegetation and other terrain objects.

    Into the list of opened formats of the new version of the GIS "Operator" software there is added ZIP archive. When you select ZIP it is automatically unpacked. Data opens in order of priority: maps project, vector maps, rasters, matrixes. This allows you to archive geodata projects, to copy and quickly to view. The data in the archive are opened for reading. After closing of the unpacked data they automatically are deleted.

    In the menu File\New\Map there is implemented the ability of the automated creation and addition to an open vector map of the list of user maps in sit or sitx format. For creation of maps it is enough to enter only the list of maps names or to paste the list from a clipboard. Parametres of coordinate system are automatically set from the open map.

    The task of "Connecting geoportals" is improved. In the new version the list of geoportals layers is expanded. For the geoportal of Rosreestr there is added a new layer of the "Zone with special conditions of using territories". Support is added for projections: Stereographic, and Double Stereographic EPSG:9809. The view of dialogue windows and panels of tools is improved. Variable size of the buttons allows you to create the most convenient view of the main window for any screen resolution. Customization is carried out in the menu of Options\Buttons size. The program interface is implemented in Unicode supporting all language standards.

  • 02.02.2017 In GIS Panorama Mini version 12 the tools for preparation of reports and publications of vector maps in GeoJSON format
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS "Panorama Mini" version 12.4.1 for the x64 platform is developed. In the new version of the program the task of "Report Editor" is refined. In the task menu the list of available printers is added. Into the project of report the relative paths are written to the included documents and maps for possibility of transfering the data together with the project. Possibility of creating a vector object as a part of the report is added.

    Change of the sheet's size at dragging of its sides or corners is supported. To the report's elements there are added the points of a binding, fixing position of the element's edges concerning sheet of the report. There is supported an insert into the report of the complex signs that are drawn on a separate map and bounded on the map by a frame. Possibility to input height of the text in millimetres is added.

    The task "Export of vector data to GML/JSON format" is improved. Possibility is added for saving the vector data into GeoJson format with taking into account the styles of displaying. In this case, into the file not only the geometry of objects is saved, but also their metadata and external view. The output file can be published in web by means of leaflet, openlayers, 2gis, openstreetmap and other applications supporting GeoJson with styles.

    Displaying of rasters (imagery) of RSW format is accelerated in 3-5 times at the expense of multi-threading on multi-core processors. In 3-4 times there is accelerated displaying the matrixes of heights of MTW format and matrixes of qualities of MTQ format at the expense of multi-threading on multi-core processors. Assessment is made on the Intel i7 processor (four real and four virtual cores).

    The task "Search by address" is modified. For specifying the street name you can choose not only the semantics of the type "Character string", but the semantics of the type "Code from classifier (reference)", for selecting the street name from a previously prepared and saved list in the classifier.

  • 01.02.2017 In GIS ToolKit the possibilities of exchange by spatial data are expanded
    In KB "Panorama" the tools of GIS ToolKit version 12.4.0 is developed for creation of GIS applications in Delphi, C ++ Builder Embarcadero. In the new version there are updated the GIS-kernel libraries in which possibility is added for saving the vector data from the format of GIS Panorama into GeoJson format with taking into account the styles of displaying. In this case, into the file not only the geometry of objects is saved, but also their metadata and external view. The output file can be published in web by means of leaflet, openlayers, 2gis, openstreetmap and other applications supporting GeoJson with styles.

    In the dialog box "Select object" there is changed the algorithm for calculating the area of the objects having extent on a longitude more than 5 degrees. Extended objects are cut by strips in UTM projection, no more than 5 degrees on a longitude. The total area of objects is calculated by conventional zones and summed. The extended accuracy of calculation of the area is provided at a selecting the "Extended" value in the pop-up menu for item "Accuracy of coordinates display".

    Converter from SHP format is improved. There is added support for file names, field names and attribute values in the national encoding. There is added an automatic identification of a set name and an object of the classifier (by key or name).

    There is added the ability to create a new classifier with the subsequent primary automatic classification of objects and characteristics (automatic addition into the classifier of absent semantics and types of objects). Displaying rasters with cutting the images by a frame is improved. Accuracy of the image cut for different scale display is improved. It allows at scaling to display more precisely a mosaic of rasters without discrepancies and imposing the images of the adjacent rasters. New implementation of forming the images of the reduced raster copies allows to improve details of the compressed image.

    Possibility is added for opening of rasters from GIS Server which are generated from GeoTIFF format without copying the image into RSW file (multispectral multichannel rasters displayed through the GDAL library).

    There is increased the speed of building the reduced copies of raster images after import of graphic files or procedures of data compression. Time of building the pyramid of reduced images inside RSW file is reduced by 10-15 times at the expense of multi-threading processing on multi-core processors.

    On an order there are accelerated the operations of viewing and the printing the transaction log (the list of the operations executed on a map) for a great number of records (hundreds of thousands or more) through the use of indexed transaction log. There is added a support of advanced parameters of local coordinate systems for execution of affine transformation or conversion of type "shift, scale, rotation". The use of advanced parametres increases the accuracy of the coordinates calculations in the local coordinate systems, allows you to apply professional geodetic programs for high-precision calculation of the parameters for the local area on the basis of projections of Gauss-Kruger, UTM, Stereographic and others.

    GIS ToolKit is a toolkit for developer of geographic information systems, allowing to process spatial databases. The toolkit consists of a set of visual components (available in the source code) and API functions for direct access to the database of geodata. Database of geodata can be located either in the workplace (direct access to the data), and on the local network or in the Internet (using the components of access to the GIS Server or a data exchange according to international protocols WMS, WFS, WCS, WMTS).

  • 31.01.2017 In ImageryCreator the speed of creating tiles by the raster and matrix data is increased
    In KB "Panorama" the ImageryCreator version 8.2.2 is developed. In the new version of the program the speed of transformation and creation of tiles by raster and matrix data is increased. The acceleration is achieved by balancing the load across multiple cores of system. It also allows to reduce time for data preparation at formation of project in ImageryCreator. For the purpose of increase in productivity of the server and displaying the data in GIS WebServer SE there is added a support of tiles with the sizes of 512Ρ…512 pixels for the raster and matrix data and of 1024Ρ…1024 pixel for vector maps.

    The program allows you to create tiles in JPEG and PNG formats under the international standard OGC WMTS 07-057r7 version 1.0.0. Tile data formed by the ImageryCreator program are used by software products the GIS WebServer SE, GIS WebService SE for providing the high speed of execution of requests for display of the spatial data on large territories at the simultaneous handling a large number of users.

Source data obtained from the GIS-Lab website are complemented by objects from maps of scale 1: 1 000 000. There are added the objects of hydrography, vegetation, road network.   • 26.01.2017 "Workstation of agronomist" reduces the time for preparation of data for agronomic audit when analyzing large amounts of information
    In KB "Panorama" the "Workstation of agronomist" version 12.4.1 is developed. In the new version "Complex of Agronomical Tasks" is adapted for operation in the 64-bit Windows system.
    There is optimized the operation of the complex for the size of memory when you open vector maps and remote sensing data of large volume.

    Agronomical audit of agriculture is necessary in order to analyse activities of agricultural enterprises of any scale, from small farmers to large agricultural holdings with the objective of optimizing the regular costs and eliminating the errors in the organization of the economy.The use in "Workstation of agronomist" for the platform x64 of all available RAM can speed work with maps of a large amount in the tasks of displaying spatial data, the search and selection of map objects based on user-selected criteria, when editing large arrays of selected objects. There is supported the work with rasters and matrixes of heights of large volumes and data of geoportals which can be displayed together with the vector map.

    Into the "Reports" panel the "Control of objects occurrence" mode is added. The mode performs the operation of control of objects' relative position of two lists. Control requirement is that the object from the list 2 entirely would be in one of the objects from the list 1. Thus, objects can have the common points of the metrics on border. The result of the mode's work is a table with the objects list of list 2 that do not meet the control requirement.

    Dialogs for working with the database of soil fertility provide a joint analysis of accounting-technical characteristics and spatial information on agricultural land. "Workstation of agronomist" supports remote work with the maps placed on the GIS Server. As sources of additional data the geoinformation layers placed on various resources on the Internet can be used. It can be public and private content provided to users for a payment.The program supports the authorized access to resource layers by the login and the password provided by the holder of data source.

  • 20.01.2017 GIS Server expands tools of collective work with remote sensing data and documents
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS Server version 7.0.4 is developed. In the new version a support of commands for execution of through users' authorization of web-services on the GIS Server is added. It allows users of web-services to get access to data according to the rules that are set on the server, without additional administration of access rights for web-services. General authorization is supported in GIS WebService SE version 11.5 and higher.

    There is added a support for placing on the GIS Server of multispectral multichannel rasters in GeoTIFF format, loaded into the GIS "Panorama" with use of GDAL library without image copying into RSW format (consists of three files with extensions TIF, TOF, RSW). Support for access to GeoTIFF on the server is implemented in the GIS "Panorama" of version 12.3.3 or higher by using GDAL virtual file system.

    Possibility is added to specify a shared folder of documents for a virtual folder with vector maps. This eliminates the administration for the individual maps that can be created in virtual folders in the implementation of different requests. Into a folder of documents the files of documents automatically will be saved onto which the reference in objects semantics of vector maps will be added.

    GIS Server provides remote round-the-clock access to the spatial data for users of GIS "Panorama", GIS "Operator" and other programs developed in the environment of GIS ToolKit or GIS Constructor for Linux. Placement of spatial data on the server increases the level of data protection against illegal copying and change, ensures reliable operation in the collective editing of data.

  • 13.01.2017 GIS WebService SE and GIS Server display dynamically changeable data in real time
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServiсe SE version 11.6 is developed. In the new version there is accelerated a process of updating images of the vector maps which are issued by WMS protocol, at intensive editing the objects of maps on the GIS Server. For example, at displaying tracks of vehicles' motion the updating of the vector data is carried out in parallel with drawing a current state. It reduces time of synchronisation of change of a vehicle position and the issuance of a picture with new position. In addition, it will enable end-users who use GIS WebServer SE, always to obtain the data and the pictures that are close to real time.

    Parametres of requests by WFS standard are expanded. There is added the possibility of display of graphic objects and the information on relative and absolute height of object. Records format of errors' log of service's work is changed. Codes of errors are described in the documentation. For convenience of the log's analysis into the module of remote administration of service the tools are added for viewing the log with possibility of events filtration.

    GIS WebServiсe SE supports all international standards (OGC WFS, WFS-T, WMS, WMTS, WCS) with which help the transmission and display of spatial data is carried out. The application has the possibility of issuing tiles for any user or local coordinate system. The application is implemented on Windows and Linux platforms, is compatible with the Apache web-server, IIS, nginx.

  • 07.01.2017 GIS WebServer SE displays terrain objects in the three-dimensional view
    In KB "Panorama" the GIS WebServer SE version 2.8 is developed. In the new version of the program in the mode of "3D Map View" the display of objects in a three-dimensional form is implemented. The mode allows to build and display in real time in the browser not only three-dimensional model of the Earth's surface, but also terrain objects in a volumetric form. Three-dimensional display of objects can be set for any map layer. Models of objects can be obtained from library of three-dimensional symbols or have a graphic view by default. Parameters of the view by default, for example, color, height are customised in the Administration module. There are provided a movement throughout the territory of the Earth, zoom, rotate and tilt model, a choosing sources of the data. Moving and scaling of a two-dimensional and three-dimensional view of the map are synchronised.

    Access to the data (to the images, vector maps and information on the terrain) Web-services provide according to conventional OGC protocols and ISO standards. Service of the GIS WebService SE (OGC WMS/WMTS) provides the spatial information in the form of graphic images. As digital model of a relief the various kinds of elevation data are used: matrixes (in formats SRTM, GeoTIFF, IMG, MTW), TIN-models, a cloud of points and others. At request there is carried out the selection of the most accurate data on a predetermined portion of the terrain with the specified resolution. To send the data of digital model of the relief to the Web the WCS protocol is used. Data of the relief are presented in the form of tiles and are cached on the client.

    GIS WebServer SE is used in the construction of private enterprise systems to ensure protection of data having security classification or trade secrets. GIS WebServer SE is certified to Level 2 of undeclared capabilities absence. The new version of the program extends the application's possibilities in solving problems of the analysis, management and forward planning of territories development. GIS WebServer SE is implemented with use of toolkit the GIS WebToolKit SE which can be applied in the development tools using the JavaScript.
